He opened the 2001 Three Amigos Comedy Tour featuring Carlos Mencia, Pablo Francisco, and Freddy Soto. By 2006, he began headlining. He delivered side-splitting performances on The Late Late Show, Comics Unleashed, and BET Comic View, in addition to writing for Mind of Mencia and producing and writing for international GRAMMY® Award-winning superstar Pitbull’s La Esquina. His first Showtime special, Grandpa Joe’s Son, staked out a spot in the Nielsen Top 20. In 2014, he funded, produced, and shot his runaway NETFLIX hit Relatable. The once-in-a-lifetime pandemic special was shot in front of a masked, socially distant crowd and focused on the ups and downs of getting through quarantine. Stand-up Comedian Steve Treviño Announces “America’s Favorite Husband” Theater Tour

Rising comic Steve Treviño , who has earned the title of  “America’s Favorite Husband,” announced his self-produced theater tour of the same name. Treviño’s upcoming string of theater dates kicks off August 12 in Phoenix and will visit major cities and venues across the U.S., including Austin’s legendary Paramount Theatre, the Orpheum Theatre in Phoenix, Vic Theatre in Chicago, and Majestic Theatre in Dallas, among others. The comedian masterfully reemerged during the pandemic with original content on YouTube and TikTok, impacting fans globally while reminding everyone that laughter is an essential human need. While parenting, running a household and keeping the romance alive, Treviño had no shortage of material during lockdown. From poking fun at his wife’s perfection when she constantly loses her phone, to mystery packages showing up repeatedly at the house, to Captain Evil (his lovely wife Renae) squashing plans with buddies, Treviño’s observational comedy style allows us to see ourselves in the madness of everyday life.

“With everyone not knowing what day it is, which way is up or down, or what was going to happen next during quarantine, my thought was if I can post a two-minute or five-minute clip of my crazy life with my wife and kids, and it allows another person to connect and find humor in something, then I have done my job,” says Treviño.

Treviño managed to tour safely and persevere with strict local COVID protocols, having played 355 shows since the start of the pandemic (March 1, 2020) and remaining a cornerstone in the comedy world and a reliable source of joy and comfort during a difficult time for many.

Today, the comedian has had stand-up specials with Amazon, NETFLIX, Showtime to name few. His first Showtime special, Grandpa Joe’s Son, staked out a spot in the Nielsen Top 20 when it first premiered. From the success of that special, he funded, produced, and shot his 2014 NETFLIX hit Relatable. Kevin Jonas and his wife, Danielle Jonas , are the proud parents of two daughters.

The couple, who got married in December 2009 , welcomed Alena and Valentina in 2014 and 2016, respectively. In a June 2022 interview with Entertainment Tonight , Kevin’s brother Frankie Jonas asked him which Jonas Brothers bandmate would be the most protective of their daughters.

“I can’t really speak for them, I’m sure they’re going to be however they’re going to be with their daughters, but I can say for myself, I’m going to be protective,” Kevin replied, referring to Joe Jonas ’ two daughters with wife Sophie Turner and Nick Jonas ’ daughter, Malti , whom he shares with Priyanka Chopra Jonas . “But I also know I’m going to have to let them go.”

Kevin has always been mindful of trying to spend as much time as possible with his girls despite his busy schedule as a musician on the road. “It’s hard. I fly home as much as I can,” he previously said of touring with two kids at home during an October 2019 appearance on the “Chicks in the Office” podcast.

The Married to Jonas alum added at the time: “Say we have a day off, [I] get up at 5 and fly home, turn it around the next morning, and I’ll be home for 18 hours. There isn’t much of a balance … but at least you’re there.”

The Jonas Brothers — which consist of Kevin, Joe and Nick — released their single “Sucker” in March 2019 after a six-year hiatus from making music together. In their 2019 documentary Chasing Happiness , the three siblings spoke candidly about Nick’s decision to step away from the band in 2013.

Kevin, Joe and Nick’s bond has evolved since they all became girl dads. In fact, they wrote “Little Bird” on 2023’s The Album  about their daughters.

The family of four were all present for the Jonas Brothers’ Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony. “Alena, Valentina, this is a pretty cool moment, don’t you think?” Kevin asked his daughters as he accepted the honor. “I will be honest, this is cool, but you two are my brightest stars. So I love you and thank you.” 

The Jonas L.A. alum took to social media to share a sweet video of his daughters supporting the upcoming release of a new Jonas Brothers single.

“A family tradition continues,” he captioned the clip, which featured Alena and Valentina along with a friend lip-syncing the track while backstage at Kevin’s concert.

“We are coming to #TheTour prepared,” Kevin wrote via TikTok on August 11, one day before the Jonas Brothers kicked off their “Five Albums, One Night” concert tour at New York’s Yankee Stadium.

In the clip, Alena showed off the array of homemade friendship bracelets she was “finishing up” to trade with fellow concertgoers. Alena made her baubles in both adult and teen sizes, with designs that boasted Kevin, Joe and Nick’s names in brightly colored beads. An attorney representing Kanye West in an ongoing lawsuit is claiming the rapper is refusing to pay him – or even speak to him.

According to court documents obtained by Page Six, Brian Brumfield has requested to be relieved from representing West in his suit against an autograph dealer who accused the hitmaker of punching him.

Brumfield alleges in the docs that West terminated their working relationship on June 21.

“Defendant also will not speak to counsel and defendant refuses to pay counsel as well,” Brumfield alleged in the lawsuit.

The hearing on Brumfield’s motion is scheduled for July 29.

Reps for Brumfield and West did not immediately respond to Page Six’s requests for comment. In Touch Weekly was first to report the news.

The original suit – filed on Jan. 10 by Justin Poplawski and his wife, Tiffany Marshall – accuses Ye of assault and battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress and negligence regarding the alleged incident with Poplawski. Marshall further claims in the suit that she suffered a loss of consortium.

Poplawski, who claims he’s gotten West’s autograph before, allegedly stopped the rapper outside of the Soho Warehouse social club on South Santa Fe Avenue in downtown Los Angeles in January 2022. Per the suit, West allegedly struck Poplawski on the scene.

When Poplawski allegedly asked for an apology, he claims the “Good Life” artist told him, “Apology for what?” and proceeded to hit Poplawski several more times, which he claims resulted in injury.

He alleges the rapper acted out of aggression as a result of his tumultuous divorce proceedings from Kim Kardashian at the time.

The latest news comes shortly after West was named in another suit filed by a former Yeezy staffer earlier this month. The staffer alleges that the rapper’s new wife, Bianca Censori, sent NSFW materials to staff that were accessible to minors as they worked on the fashion designer’s latest endeavor: “Yeezy Porn.”

Censori adamantly denied the allegations in a statement submitted to Page Six by West’s former chief of staff Milo Yiannopoulos.

“I’ve been authorized by Bianca to stress that any allegation that she showed or caused to be shown any pornographic material to minors is offensive, disgusting, abhorrent and categorically and wholly false,” Yiannopoulos said in part in a statement on Monday, calling the allegations “the most tragic and thirsty lie imaginable.”

Ethan Hawke's 4 Kids: All About Maya, Levon, Clementine and Indiana

Ethan Hawke is a proud father of four.

The actor shares two children — Maya Hawke and Levon Roan Thurman-Hawke — with actress Uma Thurman, whom he was married to from 1998 to 2005. He's also dad to Clementine Jean Hawke and Indiana Hawke, whom he welcomed with his wife, Ryan Shawhughes Hawke.

"The wonderful thing about children is they just need you every day. It gives your life balance. Meaning. Your whole life isn't just about yourself," Ethan once said. He also previously called fatherhood " the greatest pleasure in my life " and "the only role that, if I fail, I will consider my life a failure."

Despite the Moon Knight actor's illustrious career, he says his children are " not that impressed " with some of his films.

"They all watched White Fang the other day," he told PEOPLE. "I'm in every frame of that movie, and an hour and 15 minutes in I'm like, 'How do you like it, guys?' And they're like, 'It's okay. When are you going to come on?' I was so hurt. I mean, I'm not even recognizable? And they were like, 'What do you mean?' I said, 'That one with the crooked teeth!' 'Oh! That's you?' "

However, his profession seems to have still made an impact on his kids, as a few have followed in his footsteps. Ethan and his eldest daughter, Maya, are set to share the screen in an upcoming rom-com titled Revolver .

Maya Hawke, 25

Ethan welcomed daughter Maya Hawke with ex-wife Thurman on July 8, 1998. Like her parents, Maya is an actress, most notably known for her role as Robin Buckley on Stranger Things . She got her start on the screen playing Jo March in the 2017 BBC adaptation of Little Women .

"It's one of the most amazing moments of my life watching her in Little Women ," Ethan told PEOPLE of his daughter's film debut in 2018. " She didn't do a good job, she did a great job. To see your child thrive, and to see her thrive at a profession that you have a lot of respect for, that I've dedicated my life to, I was so proud of her."

In 2020, Maya got to act alongside her dad in the Showtime limited series The Good Lord Bird , appearing as Annie Brown, the daughter of Ethan's character, John Brown.

Speaking to Entertainment Weekly , Maya said, "Working with my dad was great. I hope to work with my dad my whole life. He's my greatest teacher and my greatest adviser, and it's an honor to get to work alongside him."

The father-daughter duo premiered their first film project together in April 2024. Maya starred in Wildcat as writer Flannery O'Connor — a movie that Ethan both directed and co-wrote.

Maya also had a dream role in 2019's Once Upon a Time in Hollywood , working with director Quentin Tarantino , who has had a long working relationship with her actress mother.

"I've never been on a set where every single person who was there was equally as excited to be there as the actors and the director and everyone were," she told PEOPLE at the movie's L.A. premiere.

Despite her mom's connections to Tarantino, Maya said her dad helped her land the role .

"I got an audition for the project through the normal channels through my agents and I did an audition in my bedroom with my dad," Maya told The Hollywood Reporter , detailing the process of landing her role as Flower Child in the film.

"I'm always running decisions by them," she said of her parents in an interview with Wall Street Journal . "They both have similar levels of success but really different experiences within the business."

"I think that's the biggest advantage [I have] , that I have information about the pitfalls and the good things," she continued. "Hopefully it'll keep me from making some mistakes that young actors can make."

The advice channel runs both ways between Maya and her dad.

"Well, she's really smart. She's been through a lot in her life. ... it's not easy growing up with parents with paparazzi following them around," Ethan said in an interview published in the Los Angeles Times . "It's not exactly the ride that some people might think it is."

Maya, a singer-songwriter, also credits her dad for helping her find her passion for music.

"So, when I was with my dad, we'd spend a lot of time together playing guitar, singing songs, writing poetry and would paint late into the night," she told As If magazine . "He was figuring out how to fully engage with a child. I was the kid who wasn't interested in sports so he had to engage with me in creative ways. This is where my relationship to communicating with art was built, art is a communication tool."

Maya's sophomore album, Moss , was released in September 2022.

Music has continued to be a great way for the father-daughter duo to bond. In October 2022, Maya even took credit for converting Ethan into a Taylor Swift fan. During an interview for The Line of Best Fit , she talked about playing Swift's 2010 single "Ours" for her dad.

Maya explained, "'Ours' was the first Taylor Swift song that I played for him on guitar. He was like, 'Who wrote that?', and I was like, ' Taylor Swift !' He told me he thought it was a really good song, and I was like, 'Oh, my God, I just brought something to my dad that he didn't know, and he likes – and I like!' It made me feel so confident."

The young musician also shared that she and her dad ended up seeing Swift in concert during her Speak Now tour, which she said was "such a happy moment, sharing an experience with someone who put so much energy into cultivating my taste."

In June 2023, Maya appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen . When asked about her high school self, she recalled the time she got caught lying .

"I said I was going to therapy and I really went to lose my virginity," Maya said. "My father was very, very upset. And I said [to him], 'How am I supposed to have secrets if I can't tell lies?' "

Speaking of secrets, Maya plants one in every film or TV show she stars in.

"I like to do a thing where in every part that I play, plant a seed of truth , like some kind of little secret,” she told PEOPLE. "Actually, my dad taught me this, just to put some kind of thing about the character that speaks to who you really are and sneak some secret message to somebody in your life or to yourself or to your shrink or whatever it is into each job you do."

Levon Roan Thurman-Hawke, 22

Levon Roan Thurman-Hawke is Ethan's second child with Thurman. The pair welcomed him on Jan. 15, 2002.

Levon is immersed in the fashion world, often accompanying his mom to fashion events like Dior couture shows.

He's also an actor, appearing in the Apple TV+ drama anthology The Crowded Room alongside actors like Tom Holland and Emmy Rossum . Levon is also set to star in Zoë Kravitz 's directorial debut Pussy Island .

When Levon isn't acting or attending fashion shows, he's often sitting courtside at sporting events with his dad. At the NBA All-Star Game in 2015, Ethan even made Levon switch seats with him so that he could sit next to Rihanna .

Clementine Jane Hawke, 15

Born in July 2008, Clementine Jane Hawke is Ethan's first child with his wife, Ryan.

When Clementine was still a baby in 2010, Ethan shared that his oldest daughter, Maya, had been a help with babysitting .

"Maya is about to be 12, so she's getting pretty good with the baby," Ethan shared at the time.

Speaking to PEOPLE at the Manhattan premiere of his 2010 film Brooklyn's Finest , the actor spoke about the difficulties of juggling his acting and parenting life.

"Anybody who is a parent who wants to have a professional life knows that," Hawke said. "It's a struggle … always a balance."

In 2021, Clementine joined dad Ethan on camera during the 36th Santa Barbara International Film Festival as he presented the Montecito award to actress Amanda Seyfried .

Like his other children, Ethan has said that Clementine wasn't particularly interested in any of his acting projects — until he starred in 2022's Moon Knight .

"My 13-year-old saw the Moon Knight trailer and all of the sudden my being an actor was real to her," he told PEOPLE. "She watched it on her phone, she's like 'Dad, this looks really good.' I mean her eyes just went [wide]; she couldn't believe it. 'That's what the kids at school are talking about.' So this is the first one that [impressed] her."

Indiana Hawke, 13

In July 2011, Ethan welcomed his second child with Ryan, a daughter named Indiana.

Like her dad and older siblings, Indiana seems to also have an early passion for music. While social distancing in 2020, she participated in a family sing-along with Ethan, Maya, Levon and Clementine. Big sister Maya led the way with vocals on a rendition of "To Live Is to Fly," with Indiana and Clementine joining in the harmonies while Ethan and Levon strummed along on guitars.

On Easter Sunday 2022, Ethan shared a rare photo of himself and his two youngest daughters , captioned: "Nature doing its thing. Happy Easter and Spring everyone."

PARIS (AP) — A coalition on the left that came together unexpectedly ahead of France’s snap elections won the most parliamentary seats in the vote, according to polling projections Sunday. The surprise projections put President Emmanuel Macron’s centrist alliance in second and the far right in third.

The lack of majority for any single alliance plunged France into political and economic turmoil. Final results are not expected until late Sunday or early Monday in the highly volatile snap election, which was called just four weeks ago in a huge gamble for Macron.

The deeply unpopular president lost control of parliament, according to the projections. Marine Le Pen’s far right drastically increased the number of seats it holds in parliament but fell far short of expectations.

The snap legislative elections in this nuclear-armed nation and major economy will influence the war in Ukraine , global diplomacy and Europe’s economic stability.

France now faces the prospect of weeks of political machinations to determine who will be prime minister and lead the National Assembly. And Macron faces the prospect of leading the country alongside a prime minister opposed to most of his domestic policies.

The projections, if confirmed by official counts expected later Sunday or early Monday, plunge a pillar of the European Union and its second-largest economy into intense uncertainty, with no clarity about who might partner with President Emmanuel Macron as prime minister in governing France.

The timing of France’s leap into the political unknown could hardly be worse: With the Paris Olympics opening in less than three weeks, the country will be grappling with domestic instability when the eyes of the world are upon it.

For 46-year-old Macron’s centrists, the legislative elections have turned into a fiasco. He stunned France, and many in his own government, by dissolving parliament’s lower house, the National Assembly, after the far right surged in French voting for the European elections.

Macron argued that sending voters back to the ballot boxes would provide France with “clarification.” The president was gambling that with France’s fate in their hands, voters might shift from the far right and left and return to mainstream parties closer to the center — where Macron found much of the support that won him the presidency in 2017 and again in 2022. That, he hoped, would fortify his presidency for his remaining three years in office.

But rather than rally behind him, millions of voters on both the left and right of France’s increasingly polarized political landscape seized on his surprise decision as an opportunity to vent their anger and possibly sideline Macron, by saddling him with a parliament that could now largely be filled with lawmakers hostile both to him and, in particular, his pro-business policies.

Already in last weekend’s first round of balloting, voters massively backed candidates from the far-right National Rally, in even greater numbers than in voting for the European Parliament. A coalition on of parties on the left took second and his centrist alliance was a distant third.

A hung parliament with no single bloc coming close to getting the 289 seats needed for an absolute majority in the National Assembly, the more powerful of France’s two legislative chambers, would be unknown territory for modern France and usher in political turmoil.

Unlike other countries in Europe that are more accustomed to coalition governments, France doesn’t have a tradition of lawmakers from rival political camps coming together to form a working majority.

The sharp polarization of French politics – especially in this torrid and quick campaign – is sure to complicate any coalition-building effort. Racism and antisemitism marred the electoral campaign, along with Russian disinformation campaigns , and more than 50 candidates reported being physically attacked — highly unusual for France. The government said it deployed 30,000 police for Sunday’s runoff vote – an indication of both the high stakes and concerns that a far-right victory, or even no clear win for any bloc, could trigger protests.

Any cobbled-together majority risks being fragile, vulnerable to no-confidence votes that could cause it to fall.

Prolonged instability could increase suggestions from his opponents that Macron should cut short his second and last term. The French Constitution prevents him from dissolving parliament again in the next 12 months, barring that as a route to possibly give France greater clarity.
