The Star Trek Fleet Command (STFC) Jellyfish is a scout ship that's from another dimension. In the Star Trek world, it is said to have been piloted by Ambassador Spock on his mission to save Romulus.
The Jellyfish is a hugely powerful ship which can be used by low-level players as well as higher levels. It does not have a shipyard requirement meaning, in theory, it can be built from level 1.
The Jellyfish can be purchased via an in-app purchase (which is around £65 at the time of writing) or you can grind away at missions to acquire enough blueprints to start construction. If you don't fancy spending £65 for the in-app purchase then here is a complete list of all the missions and events that give the required 75 blueprint parts for the Jellyfish.
The first mission can be found in a low-level system which you are sent to during the storyline missions. You will be sent to scout out several systems to relocate your base. One of these will have a mission called "Corsair" which for me was in the level 10 system "Jobuy". This gives the first 5 parts for the Jellyfish. In this mission, you are required to locate and destroy the Corsair leader. The target is a 1927-strength interceptor. Upon completion of this mission, you will get your first 5 Jellyfish parts.
For the next missions, head to Rigel as almost all the planets have missions with Jellyfish parts. Just note that some missions can only be accepted upon completion of other missions.
From Rigel you can use the table below which lists all the Star Trek Fleet Command Jellyfish missions, systems and planets in which you can find the rest of the 25 Jellyfish parts from missions.
Other parts can be obtained from rare events, such as "Mirror, Mirror" and "Broken Mirror".
Other events that the Jellyfish parts can be obtained from include the "Domination" events if you are high enough level, but below level 20.
Finally, you can buy 25 parts or the full 75 parts from the store during events. The cost of these is £19.99 and £64.99 at the time of writing.

Hi, Just began playing game 4-5 months ago. completed missions and acquired 23 Jelly BP (Build Parts) then after working hard at an event. Got 50 more Jelly (Build Parts) Then Back tracked looking for any I missed and went over Level 20. Now, Even Systems at Lower levels that I have never visited now show on every Mission Planet (Mission 0) meaning they are no longer there? Not, that I already did it. Because it's Not lit up White Star Shine yet. So I Never Visited. If there were any Jelly Build Plans still there, you can not go look for them any more. This is pretty disappointing. Shows me the depth of the way the game will get you somewhere close to 98% complete on purpose, then use this as a psychological pressure to get you to spend money. If you actually got the Jelly you were just in the Lucky 2% my friend. I am 73/75. Unless another event pops up I have no chance. I have Spent small money but that was before this, think now I have resolve to Never Spend.

Worked through the missions listed and only received 23 Jellyfish blue prints for some reason. There was a Mar 21 event where I could buy 25 bp with the event currency, but that only took me up to 48. The Mirror Mirror mission was available, but, disappointingly it provided no blue prints. Even if I buy 25 with real world money, I will still be short by two. Scopely have obviously done their maths on these events and deals. I'm patient...I will wait until the next event comes around, if the game survives that long.

They must have "tweaked" the mission reward as I was able to get all blueprints without spending real money. I'm really not surprised that they did this. I actually gave up playing as there was too much focus on in app purchases, some of which other players then steal from you.

well or play 6 hours a day to get 24 hours of shields where you must be online minimal 3-4 times a day to start the shield 4 hours without a shield and offline will be your downfall.

When you are not logged in and someone attacks your station they will take a large chunk of resources that you need for upgrades - resources that you may have obtained via in app purchase. To prevent this you must also have shields - another in app purchase.

Star Trek Fleet Command: Where to Find Jellyfish Parts Missions
Where to Find Jellyfish Parts Missions in Star Trek Fleet Command
Ever since Star Trek Fleet Command launched on mobile late last year, the developers have been adding new ships to get in the game. Here’s everything you need to know about where to find Jellyfish parts missions in Star Trek Fleet Command .
What the Jellyfish Is & How to Get It
The Jellyfish is a scout ship that’s from another dimension. In the Star Trek world, it is said to have been piloted by Ambassador Spock on his mission to save Romulus.
Getting it in the mobile game is pretty tough, though. You need 75 Jellyfish parts blueprints to get it, which requires a lot of exploring.
The first and easiest way to get parts is by buying them with real-world currency from the in-game store when they’re available. They should come in cycles, so check back for them if they’re not there.
If you don’t want to wait for them to return, or don’t want to spend real-world money, you can find them by completing missions that are littered throughout the game’s many systems.
Where to Find Missions in Star Trek Fleet Command
Jellyfish parts blueprints aren’t common at all, but you’ll likely come across them by simply heading out to explore certain systems. Getting all 75 is where the challenge is. It does help to be a high level so that you can complete the higher level missions, which makes sense since the ship is Rare and quite powerful.
There are a few good places to head out to to check for missions that offer parts as rewards. You should go to The Rigel System, where you’ll likely find missions on most planets or The Romulus Empire for high-level missions. Trekcommander.space also has a good list of missions that you’ll get parts from.
The rotating Monthly and Station events in Star Trek Fleet Command may also offer Jellyfish Parts for completing them, but the resource numbers you need are often very high.
In short, if you’re not willing to pay for parts, getting all 75 you need will take a lot of grinding and exploring.
That’s everything you need to know about where to find Jellyfish parts missions in Star Trek Fleet Command . For more tips and tricks on the game, be sure to search for Twinfinite .
ISS Jellyfish
Carnac | March 30, 2021 March 30, 2021 | Independent Ship , Ships
The ISS Jellyfish was the first 4* ship introduced in Star Trek Fleet Command, and it carries quite a wallop. It entered the game in November 2019 and will have a huge impact on the way you play the game.
In order to build the ISS Jellyfish, you’re going to need 120 Blueprints. You can get these either from the ISS Jellyfish Pursuit Event , from the new Territory Capture Service, or from Epic Armada Chests (if you’re ops level 36 or above.)
You’ve probably been warned about this. It’s a little pricey for a unique fixer-upper opportunity . (Bonus points if you remember where that reference is. I get the feeling it might come up in a trivia contest in the next few weeks.)
The nice thing is that at level 39, you’re probably not tritanium poor (hopefully.) But even still, you’re really going to want to invest in repair technologies, both in repair times and resources.
Note that the Jellyish wasn’t affected by the recent reductions in G4 ship repairs . As you can see below, my tier 4 Jellyfish is still quite pricey to repair, but my research and drydock buffs have reduced the cost from 7.1 million Tritanium to 2.1 Tritanium.
The moral of the story is that if you can do whatever you’re doing with your Jelly with another ship, do it with the other ship.
Upgrading your ISS Jellyfish
Here’s a nickel’s worth of free advice to you, before you start upgrading your Jelly – do as much research as possible as you can to reduce your costs. Specifically, for explorer parts; so Explorer Bartering in the Outlaw Research tree, and Pure Parts Explorer in the Galaxy tree.
It’s not the G4 gas that’s likely going to hold you back from upgrading, but rather, it’s the G4 uncommon parts. You’ll get an awful lot of the gas you need to upgrade it from the Para Bellum events. You will get a good deal of parts from the Jellyfish Brawl events, but not to the degree you’ll get them from.
You’re also going to need to pay attention to your research for upgrading this ship. A lot of the new researches recently released increase the power of the G4 ships, and the Jelly will benefit from that.
I was actually most excited to get the ISS Jellyfish for its warp range. This was a healthy upgrade for me, and let me finish up a lot of missions.
Tier 4 will also let you get to warp 75, which will let you move your base into Deep Space, where you have easier access to fast latinum mining and G4 raw material mining. It’s also a bit quieter. Less of the riff-raff .
The other thing you’ll notice is that it’s a fast ship in warp. With tech bonuses, mine zips around at warp 15.7.
It’s not a particularly quick ship in systems using impulse power. It starts out at 85, though there is research you can get starting at level 42 in the Outlaw Research tree that will speed it up, maxing out at 110.
The ISS Jellyfish in Combat
Apart from its range, the key to maximizing your use of your Jelly is understanding its ship ability:
Imperial Might – The ISS Jellyfish gains an additional 15% damage bonus at the start of every combat round. This bonus stacks with no limit.
This bonus, by the way, starts at 15% per round. It maxes out at 74% per round.
So the key is this, the longer your battle goes, the more damage you’re going to do. For reference, my 4.5 million strength Tier 4 ISS Jellyfish currently does 440k damage per round. My 3.8 million Tier 7 Augur does 595k damage per round. So in short battles, the advantage goes to the Augur. The longer the battle goes, the more damage done by the Jellyfish will increase dramatically.
In terms of weaponry, you’ve got three weapons. Two phaser cannons (energy weapons) that each fire twice in every round, and a “red matter torpedo” kinetic weapon that fires in every other round.
If you’re thinking that you’re going to go toe-to-toe with similarity-powered G3 epics, you’re probably going to be disappointed. The Jelly’s ability doesn’t work that fast. So your 4 million Jelly will likely fall victim to a 4 million Enterprise or Augur.
It’s also a terrible base cracker. Those battles tend to be in the 4-6 round range. Short battles are not your friend in this ship.
It’s not bad at all in hunting hostiles, just throw the Pike crew on and get to work. Just keep in mind that you’re not going to get faction “devotion” rep bonuses because it’s not a faction ship.
It can be also be very good at defeating mission bosses. For tougher ones, I’ve used my Jelly to wipe out the shields of mission bosses, and then used my Augur to finish them off.
But, where you will absolutely love this ship is in armadas. It’s in long battles where it’ll shine, and armada battles tend to be very long indeed. 25+ rounds, and doing increasing damage in every round.
Basic Crewing
(For the sake of space, I’m going to go with just a few basic crews here, and probably write something more in depth at a later date.)
For armadas, if you’re confident that you’re going to win easily, then Five of 10 (Borg Jaylah) is a go-to. If it’s going to be closer, the old reliable of Kirk , Spock , and Khan is the way to go. You can also mix and match, and put Five as the captain, for the increased loot, with Kirk and Spock as your officers.
Keep in mind that it’s an Explorer, so your new TOS officers will work nicely with it.
For hostiles, you can’t go wrong with your Pike crew.
The setup itself gives you a lot of flexibility. The ship ability doesn’t require any special conditions like burning or morale to set it off, so you’re free to max your officers, and tailor your crew to your opponent. It fires both energy and kinetic weapons, so you can also use that to your advantage.

Jellyfish Explorer Ship
The Jellyfish is a scout ship from the future and another dimension. It was once piloted by Ambassador Spock on his mission to save Romulus from destruction in the Prime reality. Since its arrival in this dimension, the Jellyfish has been extensively studied by Federation scientists for its extremely advanced technology. Despite it being a high-tech vessel, the Jellyfish was designed as a science vessel and has relatively weak defenses and is now commonly used as a fast Explorer.

How to Get the Jellyfish for Free in Star Trek Fleet Command
At first, synonymizing the name Jellyfish with Star Trek would make someone think it’s some kind of rare alien specimen. However, it’s not that and is in fact very far from being so. The Jellyfish is a ship, but not just any ship. It is in fact, the very ship that Spock once used to prevent the destruction of Romulus as well as one of the best ships in the game . Now it can be yours in Star Trek Fleet Command. This is how to get the Jellyfish for free in Star Trek Fleet Command.
What The Jellyfish Does
RELATED: How to Attack Other Players in Star Trek Fleet Command
Now, you really could take a shortcut and purchase the parts, but why do that when you can get them completely free? With a lot of grinding and a little patience, you can get the Jellyfish parts without spending a single cent of real-life currency.
To be able to build the Jellyfish, you’ll a shipyard that is at least level 12. This high-tech ship was meant to be used for scientific research, so don’t expect anything too offensive or defensive out of it. It will, however, increase the effectiveness of its Captain Maneuver by 15 percent.
How To Get The Jellyfish Parts
Like with most ships, you need blueprints to build the Jellyfish. Fortunately, you can get most of them for free. You get 25 blueprints for completing the Jellyfish missions. You need 75 in total to complete the Jellyfish, so you have to get 50 more from other missions. These can be collected by playing through the game and completing tasks.
You can also sometimes get them by participating in special events. The event shops also sometimes have parts that you can buy with the in-game currency. Do be aware that not all events will have the parts. Therefore, it might take a while to grind out the completion for the Jellyfish, but it is certainly worth it.
Now that you know how to find the parts, you can complete the Jellyfish and save your money!

The ISS Jellyfish is a 4 Star, Rare Explorer Ship , and requires a Shipyard at lvl 39 in order to build it.
The ISS Jellyfish is a testament to the technological prowess of the Terran Empire. Far more versatile than its counterpart in our universe, this Jellyfish uses an experimental dark matter warp drive, capable of travelling vast distances quickly and without appearing on enemy scanners. Originally intended as an espionage vessel, it would allow the Empire to spy on its allies and root out dissent before it began. It is also equipped with powerful T-38 Disruptor cannons, making it more than capable of wiping out rebellious activity whenever it is encountered.
The ISS Jellyfish was to be the pride of the Terran Empire, a symbol of their cunning and omniscience. However, the Empire never came into possession of the ship. Spock had other plans for his prized creation...

Star trek: discovery fixed saru’s problem, then repeated the same captain mistake.
With Saru's new role as an Ambassador, Star Trek: Discovery fixes an old problem, but the series makes the same mistake again in Discovery season 5.
Warning: SPOILERS for Star Trek: Discovery Season 5
- Star Trek: Discovery season 5 resolves Saru's role issue but introduces another with Captain Rayner as First Officer.
- Michael Burnham's decision to make Rayner her Number One doesn't solve the problem of having two Captains on the bridge.
- The dynamic between Captains and First Officers in Star Trek: Discovery keeps changing each season, adding new layers to the ongoing story.
Star Trek: Discovery season 5 seems to fix the problem of Captain Saru's (Doug Jones) role on the USS Discovery's crew, but the series immediately makes the same mistake again with Captain Rayner (Callum Keith Rennie). In Star Trek: Discovery season 4 , Captain Saru voluntarily cedes command of the USS Discovery to the newly-promoted Captain Michael Burnham (Sonequa Martin-Green), which leaves Star Trek: Discovery with two characters holding the rank of Captain at the same time . Captain Saru gladly acts as Captain Burnham's First Officer during Star Trek: Discovery season 4, but it's not the best use of Saru's skills or rank.
In Star Trek: Discovery season 5 , the United Federation of Planets is slowly rebuilding in the wake of the Burn and first contact with Species 10-C. Federation President Laira Rillak (Chelah Horsdal) offers the inherently empathic Captain Saru a position as a Federation Ambassador, which would require the Kelpien resign his Starfleet commission. Saru accepts the offer and becomes an Ambassador , which allows him the time to marry his love, President T'Rina (Tara Rosling) of Ni'Var, leaving the position of First Officer aboard the USS Discovery wide open for whomever Captain Burnham should appoint.
Saru’s Star Trek: Discovery Promotion Makes Him Even More Like Spock
Star trek: discovery repeated saru’s mistake with captain rayner, two captains don't need to be on discovery's bridge..
At the end of Star Trek: Discovery season 5, episode 2 , "Under the Twin Moons", Captain Burnham chooses Captain Rayner (Callum Keith Rennie) to be Discovery's new First Officer, which doesn't solve the problem of having two Captains on the bridge. Rayner had been Captain of the USS Antares, but Rayner's command decision in Star Trek: Discovery season 5, episode 1, "Red Directive", accidentally inspired villains Moll (Eve Harlow) and L'ak (Elias Toufexis) to cause an avalanche that puts civilians in danger while also covering Moll and L'ak's own escape. The subsequent hearing results in Rayner being grounded, and Burnham gives Rayner another chance as her Number One.
Captain Rayner and Admiral Charles Vance (Oded Fehr) are old friends, and Vance backed Rayner as Burnham's new Number One.
It's not a terrible choice for Burnham, but it makes an unusual story, since Rayner didn't have to be a Captain to begin with. Captain Burnham's decision to ask Rayner to be Discovery's First Officer comes on the heels of Michael and Saru reflecting on Saru giving Michael a second chance in Star Trek: Discovery season 1, so it's framed as Burnham paying it forward. Michael has the power to keep Rayner out of a forced early retirement by bringing Rayner aboard Discovery , but more importantly, Rayner's no-nonsense, mission-oriented perspective is exactly what Michael Burnham needs in a First Officer. None of this is dependent on Rayner's rank.
Why Star Trek: Discovery Has A First Officer Problem
There are a lot of shakeups in discovery's command structure..
Star Trek: Discovery 's earlier problem, the many Captains of the USS Discovery , was solved with Captain Michael Burnham becoming Discovery's permanent Captain in Star Trek: Discovery season 4, but with Saru's departure to become a Federation ambassador, Star Trek: Discovery renews its First Officer problem. Compared to the more familiar format of earlier Star Trek shows, which had been grounded in the dynamic between their Captains and First Officers, each season of Star Trek: Discovery now has a different pair in command of the USS Discovery , and a different tone, signifying new chapters in the ongoing story of Michael Burnham's character development.
Star Trek: Discovery season 5 could have easily solved Discovery 's too-many-Captains problem by choosing a different First Officer from Discovery's crew after Saru resigned his Starfleet commission. Lt. Sylvia Tilly (Mary Wiseman) has experience as First Officer, having served as Saru's Number One in Star Trek: Discovery season 3, and the USS Discovery also has a wealth of potential First Officers among its bridge crew, most of whom are full Commanders. Captain Rayner is an unknown entity, but maybe a needed one, so while Burnham's surprise pick of Rayner as First Officer may not solve the problem, it does make for an interesting twist to Star Trek: Discovery 's final season.
Star Trek: Discovery season 5 streams Thursdays on Paramount+.

A New Threat in Star Trek Fleet Command: The Gorn Hunter Hostiles
By rebekah 9 April 2024
“We are prey. When they hunt, they are unrelenting. The truth is plenty of people have seen the Gorn. They just don’t live long enough to talk about it.” -La’an Noonian Singh
Commanders,
Brace yourselves–the unrelenting hunters have arrived! With the return of the Strange New Worlds story arc comes their most fearsome enemy. Now for the first time, Commanders ops 40 and above will be able to challenge the Gorn as they appear in Strange New Worlds. Be warned, Commanders; the Gorn are not to be taken lightly!
The warships of the Gorn are constructed of a strange material that is immune to conventional weapons fire. Fortunately, they are vulnerable to isolytic weaponry. To defeat them, you will need to bring a ship or a crew that can deal isolytic damage. Be certain not to neglect isolytic defense, however! The Gorn ships may be vulnerable to isolytic damage, but their own weapons also make use of it!
For defeating these dangerous enemies, you will receive loot that can be used to trade for a variety of exciting rewards! Resources, temporal artifact shards, and shards of officers from the Voyager and Enterprise-E synergy groups can be yours, if you are up for the challenge.
The Gorn can be found in the following new systems:
These hostiles will be your first opponents where the entire fight will be decided by isolytic damage. For easy reference, here are all the things currently in the game that can affect your isolytic damage vs hostiles:
- Enterprise-E Picard
- Enterprise-E Data
- Kathryn Janeway
- Prime Isolytic Damage
- De-lak DOH! (for Klingon ships)
- Baleful Tactics (for Federation ships)
- Tan Qalanq’s Edge (for Romulan ships)
Starships tree:
- Tachyon Hostile Eruption (requires Monaveen to research)
Fleet Commanders:

- Blade of Tkon
- Vidiian Honatta Organ Harvester
- Picard’s Ressikin Flute
- King M’Benga’s Crown
