I recently went on my second lake tour on the Big Bear Queen with Captain Chris. Captain Chris is extremely knowledgeable, and he incorporates a lot history into the cruise. Fortunately, both times, the other passengers on the boat were cordial and well mannered. The cruise was about an hour and half, which seemed like a perfect amount of time.
