Made appointment for vaccines at 2pm, but proceeded to spend 2.5 hours between arriving and actually getting the vaccines injected into me. Ridiculous to wait that long with an appointment. I got my shots so I'll throw a 2 star review since they delivered what I needed, but given the time it took to get things done I'll likely not return to this clinic for future travel immunizations and would recommend either going elsewhere or not having any other plans if you do book here.

I wish I could give this place less than one star but I can't, but if you're into paying $70 for someone to Google information for you, then this is the place for you! Let's start with my first appointment. They don't tell you that there's a $70 consultation fee until you're sitting the doctors office. Once I was there my "consultation" consisted of the doctor googling what vaccinations I needed for my trip on the WHO website. Also the doctor looked like he had gotten to the office via tornado. He was also super obsessed with my fertility and zika. He really only needed to ask me once, not four times. So I felt fairly uneasy through the whole experience. After being gouged $70, I said I'd come back to get my vaccinations, because I was on my work break and sometimes I get pretty dizzy afterwards. So now I have been trying to get a hold of them for an appointment for my vaccinations for two weeks. No one answers the phone, no one returns calls, and most of the time they're not even open according to their hours. Just go to your family doctor or a walk-in. You'll get better care from a real doctor and it'll be free. Edit: ended up just going to a walk-in clinic and getting my prescriptions. Much easier.

What a shame there isn't a zero-star review option... I wonder if the staff there can vaccinate themselves against the virus of rudeness. I've been to the Travel Vaccine Clinic twice. First visit was a couple of years ago, and it wasn't great (reception staff are exceptionally rude and dismissive). The person I saw that time (not a doctor) seemed competent- she tried to upsell me on a couple of things, but wasn't overly pushy. Returned recently to prep for a trip to Africa. The person I saw (Edna) was perhaps the rudest person I ever met in my life. She would ask me questions about my medical history and then interrupt my answers and start to write the wrong thing down. When I tried to correct her she wouldn't listen or acknowledge what I was saying. On several occasions I had to speak in a loud.word.by.word.voice to get her to amend what she'd written and put the correct info down. I could go on and on with more examples of rude and dismissive behaviour, poor communication, poor organization, etc. But the short version is, after an hour there I just handed them back all the papers, put on my coat and left. I hated to leave and just waste the time I'd spent there, but there was no way I could give my business to a company that treats its customers so horribly. I just booked an appointment at Passport Health not too far away. I notice it gets consistently high reviews on Yelp, so hopefully it's a better option (how could it be worse?)

Very knowledgeable about travel needs and great for walk-ins and quick appointments. I've gotten several shots here last minute including the flu-shot, Twinrix and more.

Be ready to wait! You would think that since it's a private institution it would be more efficient... NOT! Completely disappointed!

ZERO STARS. ZERO. Not even half a star. I wish I had checked these reviews before showing up for an appointment that according to the website was only supposed to take about 40 minutes and instead took 2 hours before I walked out crying. After having a full appointment with with someone who isn't even a Dr. in Ontario (who took a personal call and walked out to move his car at one point) I had the displeasure of meeting the actual Dr. who tried to upsell me but also called me a "busy lady" because I was bouncing my 10 month old and he also assumed that I'm pregnant again. When I told him I'm not he asked if I'm sure. This was after the first Dr. had already tried to educate me on the Zika virus until I said very clearly that I'm not pregnant, nor am I expecting pregnancy. They didn't even question a patient just ending an appointment. Stay.Away.

Fear is a wonderful selling point. As you sit in the waiting room trying your best not to look up at medical-looking posters that warn you about a virtual ten-plagues of disease that you're certain to encounter on your journey, you slowly become oblivious to the ridiculous price of this service. You become afraid enough that you become convinced that you need these sugar pills. A few hundred dollars is a relatively small insurance policy to avoid having the skin-melting-off condition or the brain-turning-to-maggot illness or any of the other modern day horrors that apparently exist. You're not going to be the one idiot who tries to prove them wrong. They seem to know what they're doing. I didn't get ebola on my trip. Yet.

I wonder who are the people running this business? This should be a public service. Travelling to other countries is a serious medical and social issue; can be a matter of life and death. The person I spoke with over the phone is very rude. She was like: it's $59, blah blah blah ... , I inquired further, and she was like: Sir, we are very busy, would you like to get vaccinated or not? They should subcontract reception to call centres that are knowledgeable and courteous enough to explain procedures and the importance of vaccines and not sound like fly by night dealership.

SCAM ALERT! I paid $179 for a single Hepatitis A shot. The clinic is in shambles and chaos. The owner operator (Doctor) is a miserable brutish bully of a man that intimidates clients into paying for unnecessary vaccinations. The innocent staff are lovely treading lightly near the Beast. Many are unlicensed meds in Canada. AVOID!

I went to the Travel Vaccine Clinic at the Sheppard Ave Location in North York. The clinic was spotless clean, the front desk staff is very nice and helped me to fill up the forms with kindness. I have never been to a doctor who went through all my medical information with so much details and explained to me the vaccines I needed. all the side effects and the health benefits of getting the vaccines. He also gave me pamphlets and flyers about the vaccines. I highly recommend the Travel Vaccine Clinic to my family and friends. If you need vaccines, weather you travel or not, definitely go to the Travel Vaccine clinic.
