Rising London band Palace has announced its biggest North American headlining tour to date, with 18 shows in 1,000+ capacity rooms across the US and Canada, including nights at Brooklyn Steel, DC’s 9:30 Club, The Wiltern in Los Angeles, and over a dozen more. The announce follows show-stopping festival performances at Life Is Beautiful , Portola, Format, and more.

Alongside the tour announce, the band shared “All We’ve Ever Wanted,” their first new music since the acclaimed 2022 album Shoals .“‘All We’ve Ever Wanted’ is about dreams and desires,” explains singer Leo Wyndham about the track that straddles the anthemic, lighters-aloft sentiment of Britpop’s finest and an artfully applied sheen of shoegaze noise.

Palace

“It’s about wondering if things ever can come to pass exactly as we’ve pictured them in our mind’s eye, and confronting the reality that things often don’t move in a predictable straight line. In the end, new growth seems to occur from the soil of the unexpected.” The track is taken from a new EP due for release this spring.

‘The Head On The Door’: How The Cure Smashed Into The Mainstream

The best songs about dogs: a tribute to our four-legged friends, best garbage songs: 20 genre-defying anthems.

2022’s Shoals is a profound and pensive album, boldly exploring some of life’s greatest questions over its 12 mesmerising tracks. The album deftly explores the interplay of three central existential dilemmas against a broader backdrop of wonder at the vastness and power of the ocean, concluding its arc with the stunning opus “Where Sky Becomes Sea.” Through diving into themes of the subconscious, dreams and existentialism, Shoals is broadly a record about living with and processing fear.

Palace put on an ethereal performance. From belting out fan favourites like bitter and live well, to reducing the crowd to a murmur for more intimate songs, the entire gig was spellbinding. The accompaniment of the string section for emotive songs such as bones and face in the crowd was perfectly suited to the stunning surroundings of the Roundhouse. Overall it was beautiful and hypnotic, watching people pour themselves into a heartfelt and sincere performance. The crowd was excellent, and it was wonderful to hear the thousands of people joining in for the last verse of holy smoke. Palace really did themselves proud, and i think it will be remembered as a landmark performance.

Talk about an intimate show. Their playlist consisted of 5 tracks from their new album and two off of their first album. The soundstage was amazing and the vocals absolutely outstanding from Leo. A great performance all around from the band and we even got to meet and greet afterwards. Nice to know that their success has not got to their heads, just genuine nice guys that really engage so well with their audience. Mainstream success has never been more deserved and surely can’t be that far away for Palace!?!

If your still undecided, listen to any of their music and you’ll be hooked. Looking forward to seeing them at the Camden Roundhouse in November.

Following their often melancholic tunes, the performance was energetic and passionate. Even songs I did not know or weren’t my favorites beforehand, sounded and felt great within the atmosphere. Overall an incredible show, with four distinct artists on stage, an audience also young and old, as well as a well-picked location for the size of this concert!

As ever, a brilliant, emotive, vibrant performance. Palace are an amazing band, lyrically, musically and in engaging with the audience. This is the 4th time we have seen them, and we are going again next week. They just get better and better. Give them a listen, you will not be sorry, they are pure quality, a rare find, classics of the future.

Their gig was better than expected! Good sound, nice atmosphere and not only songs worth listening :) A great start of their debut album and tour. Some minor mistakes, but only made it better and unique.

I enjoyed it a lot and looking forward for more Palace in the future!

Great show! Took one or two songs for the sound guy to get the levels right but the rest of the gig was a dream. Have seen this band a few times now and would highly recommend. Great support act too.

The London-based trio is set to cover over 18 cities, including a stop in Los Angeles, California! On Friday, 23rd June 2023, Palace will showcase their amazing hits and fan favorites, such as “Live Well,” “Bitter,” “Heaven Up There,” “Never Said It Was Easy,” and many more! Fans can look forward to the band's high-energy setlist at the Wiltern! Earlier this year, Palace just came out with a new critically acclaimed single, “All We’ve Ever Wanted.” The single was the band’s latest music since the release of their 2022 album, Shoals! This 2023, the trio embarks on their biggest North American tour to promote their sensational hits and new music from their upcoming EP! Hurry and score tickets now to see Palace light up the Wiltern on Friday, 23rd June 2023!

British rock band Palace emerged in 2012 from London, England. The group began as a quartet comprising members Leo Wyndham, Rupert Turner, Matt Hodges, and Will Dorey. The band dropped their first EP, Lost in the Night, that same year. Performing the local rock circuit in London and beyond, the band’s music, which showcased their alternative and blues roots paired with Oldham’s brooding vocals, has been compared to the likes of indie bands Fleet Foxes, Bon Vier, and Grizzly Bear. The band became a well-known rock band in the local rock scene.

The band performed their first gig in a South London pub. “A part of us thought we might be the shittest band in the world,” Wyndham mentioned in an interview. Luckily, the moment the band started playing, they could see that the audience liked their music. This moment was in 2014. Fast forward to two years later, the band dropped their debut studio album, So Long Forever. Soon enough, the band started receiving wide acclaim from fans, people were checking out their music online, and fans were crowd-surfing during their sets. Moreover, they were asked to support Jamie T on one of his comeback shows.

For a humble quartet who spent their days hanging out and practicing in small studios in Camden, this was the beginning of their rise to prominence. The debut album So Long Forever spawned fan favorites “Live Well,” “Holy Smoke,” and “Bitter.” Both singles have clocked in over 100 million streams across music platforms. In 2017, bassist Dorey left the band to pursue other musical projects.

Palace carried on as a trio two years later and released their sophomore album, Life After. The album spawned the single “Heaven Up There,” which has amassed over 20 million streams on Spotify and 14 million views on Youtube. In the following years, the band released several more EPs Someday, Somewhere, Gravity, Love (Don’t Let Me Down), Fade, and Where Sky Becomes Sea.

Last year, the band dropped their latest album, Shoals, featuring the fan favorite, “Never Said It Was Easy.” This year, the band dropped the new single “All We’ve Ever Wanted” to be featured in their upcoming EP. “‘All We’ve Ever Wanted’ is about dreams and desires,” Wyndham explained. “It’s about wondering if things ever can come to pass exactly as we’ve pictured them in our mind’s eye and confronting the reality that things often don’t move in a predictable straight line. In the end, new growth seems to occur from the soil of the unexpected.”

Catch Palace this summer by securing your tickets now to their show at the Wiltern!
