Take a guided tour through parts of Dublin Castle , which was the seat of government for many years and today plays a leading role in political activities. Return to your hotel in time for your welcome dinner and informal get together. After dinner why not check out the Temple Bar area which often has great traditional music on offer. Overnight in Dublin, Dinner, Bed & Breakfast Included.

Day 2, Tuesday: Dublin, Kilkenny - Dungarvan

Check out of your hotel and travel to Dungarvan in County Waterford, en-route visiting the magnificent Kilkenny Castle which dates back to 1391 and was the seat of the famous Butler family.  After some free time to explore Kilkenny travel onward to Dungarvan which is renowned for traditional Irish music, Irish song & dance and the Irish language.  This festival town has as a great name amongst traditional music supporters and it’s welcoming restaurants and pubs offer a unique experience in an old world atmosphere. After dinner this evening meet three well-known local musicians including Donnchadh Gough , an accomplished Uileann Pipes & Bodhran player from the acclaimed Irish music band ‘Danu’ for an informal recital and questions and answers session. Tonight take the time to explore Dungarvan’s traditional music scene, we recommend a trip to ‘The Local’ which has frequent live Traditional Irish Music. After lunch (included), we visit Ring or 'An Rinn' in Irish which is an official Gaeltacht area near Dungarvan. In a Gaeltacht the spoken language is Irish and the Gaeltacht is also a great place to discover real traditional Irish Music. Visit Mooney’s Pub for a Traditional Music Session. Mooney’s is famous for sean-nós singing, traditional Irish music and late-night sessions. Writers, poets, film-makers and artists have used Mooney's as a meeting place for decades- the Dubliners, the Clancy Brothers and the Fury Brothers to name but a few. After your class and dinner, meet Peadar Ó Riada for a talk on ‘The history and origins of traditional music and what it sounds like in an indigenous community’.  Peadar is the son of influential Irish musician and composer Sean Ó Riada, and has continued to follow in his father's footsteps. While his roots remain in Traditional Irish Music, Ó Riada has incorporated classical, Eastern, and European modern influences into his work also. After some tea & scones, accompany Joe to the old Inchigeelagh church yard and through his songs and stories you will learn a little bit more about West Cork’s colourful history. Leave Inchigeelagh and head to Gougane Barra an area of outstanding natural beauty; here you will spend time with another local guide. Gougane Barra has been the subject of many songs and stories a local and well-known poet Máire Bhuí Uí Laoghaire for example immortalised the area in verse through her poem ‘Cath Céim an Fhia (The Battle of Keimaneigh)’. Overnight in Ballyvourney, Dinner, Bed & Breakfast Included.

Day 6, Saturday: Dingle Sightseeing/Dingle Music Scene

Your tour of Ireland takes you to Dingle today via the pretty town of Killarney where you will have some time to peruse the shops or have a bite to eat if you wish. On arrival in Dingle the remainder of the day is free for your own personal sightseeing or shopping. Dingle Town is one of the few places in Ireland where you can enjoy traditional Irish music any night of the week. In addition there are weekly Summer Concerts in St. James Church with the Dingle Beehive Theatre Company providing the entertainment. Overnight in Dingle, Bed & Breakfast Included.

Day 7, Sunday: The Dingle Peninsula

Following breakfast depart the hotel and begin a tour of the Dingle Peninsula . Perhaps not as well-known as the Iveragh Peninsula where the Ring of Kerry is located, the Dingle Peninsula is less busy but every bit as beautiful. Visit the dry stone early Christian church Gallarus Oratory. According to local lore, if you can successfully climb through the window at the back of the building your soul will then be cleansed, however as you will discover, this is a little hard to do! Then to the west of the town the scenery is particularly rugged with views out to the formerly inhabited Blasket Islands. Visit the Blasket Centre which tells the story of the Blasket Islanders, the unique literary achievements of the island writers and their culture and traditions. Return to Dingle for more Ceol agus Craic! Overnight in Dingle, Bed & Breakfast Included.

Day 8, Monday: Dingle to Clare

Travel from Dingle to Ennis, County Clare, stopping en route at the heritage town of Adare. Next, travel the short distance to Bunratty Castle & Folk Park . This remarkable fortress was built in 1425 by the McNamara Clan and is one of Ireland's most complete castles – completely furnished on the inside. After checking into your hotel, take some time to relax before this evening’s music recital. Meet with meet three well-known local musicians including Jack Talty for a traditional music recital and informal questions and answers session. Jack is a renowned concertina player composer and producer, he has toured extensively throughout Europe, North America and Australia, and has contributed to over 25 albums to date. Overnight in Ennis, Dinner, Bed & Breakfast Included.

Day 9, Tuesday: The Cliffs of Moher/Irish Traditional Music Centre

No trip to Ireland is complete without seeing our most famous visitor attraction, the Cliffs of Moher . From the Cliffs of Moher on a clear day the Aran Islands and Galway Bay can be seen, as well as the Maum Turk Mountains in Connemara and the Twelve Pin. Continue through karst landscape of the Burren to the Burren Centre in Kilfenora. The Burren Centre gives the visitor an introduction to the visual delights and ancient mysteries which await to be discovered in this unspoiled corner of Ireland. Last stop on your tour today is the Irish Traditional Music Centre in Milltown Malbay where you can learn more about music in Clare and its origins. Return to Ennis where there will be time to explore this colourful town if you have not done so already.  Overnight in Ennis Bed & Breakfast Included.

Autumn 2023 tours announced

Our first tour features an extraordinary multi-media composition for sound and video, which will be closely followed by a programme of awe-inspiring jazz and exquisite early music from an amazing line-up of Irish and international musicians.

The season kicks off on 19 September with Oscailt, a new Music Network commission by maverick Irish composer Jennifer Walshe . Oscailt opens as part of Dublin Fringe Festival before touring to Kildare, Limerick, Cork and Mayo from 19 – 26 September . Developed by Walshe and her ensemble with the help of secondary school students from across the country, this show will draw on their experience of growing up in a world mediated by technology, incorporating film, improvisation and artificial intelligence (AI) into the live performances.

Through a series of workshops, together they have explored and created sounds using instrumental, vocal and computer improvisation techniques that will feature in the concerts. Students will join Walshe and her ensemble on stage to perform some of their co-created material for audiences at their local venues.

Walshe’s fascination with AI and all its applications for music and performance will also be evident in the piece, which she’ll be presenting in collaboration with Elizabeth Hilliard (soprano), Nick Roth (saxophone) and Panos Ghikas (viola/electronics).

October brings the Sultan Stevenson Trio , led by the trailblazing young pianist and composer Sultan Stevenson. The trio is currently taking the UK jazz scene by storm and will be joined on stage for this tour by immensely talented saxophonist and Mercury Music Prize winner Denys Baptiste.

Stevenson has emerged as a musical force to be reckoned with, and his trio are hotly tipped for huge international success following the release of his incredible debut Faithful One earlier this year. This tour brings together four of the most exciting jazz artists the UK currently has to offer. Expect sublime and delicate playing alongside exhilaratingly high-energy musical exchanges from this powerful quartet who are touring from 24 – 29 October.

From 22 – 30 November a trio of internationally renowned artists Anna Dennis, Jonas Nordberg and Liam Byrne will perform together for the first time in Ireland.

Recently awarded Best Singer at the Royal Philharmonic Society’s 2023 Awards, Dennis is one of the UK’s leading sopranos. Paired with the captivating sounds of Nordberg on lute and Byrne on viola da gamba this is sure to be a magical musical experience.

This programme of early music will transport us from the musical landscapes of the Jacobean English drawing room to the sumptuous salons of Venice. Music, poetry and song will intertwine as the warm tones of lute and viola da gamba blend with the enchanting sound of the soprano voice. The tour will feature works by Dowland, Monteverdi, Purcell and Telemann alongside a new Music Network commission by Irish composer David Coonan.

Music Network continues to bring a rich and varied programme of concerts to communities across Ireland. Speaking about the announcement, Chief Executive Sharon Rollston said:

‘ We’re thrilled to launch our brand new season of tours, running from September to November. This adds to our work so far this year which brought live music to 18 counties with 26 partners in 30 venues through our National Touring Programme. We’ve also provided 10 artist residencies together with our partners, commissioned 7 new works by Irish composers and placed musical instruments in the hands of approximately 5,000 musicians, both amateur and professional, through our Music Capital Scheme. We’re aiming to finish this year as strongly as we started with an incredible line-up of musicians for audiences to enjoy this season. So, whether you are drawn to contemporary sounds, transcendent jazz or the elegance of early music, we hope you’ll find a concert you love at a venue near you. ’ Music Network has been bringing affordable, exceptional quality live music to Irish venues for 37 years. Our tours and programmes support musicians to develop sustainable and fulfilling careers and provide opportunities for performance and participation in live music in communities across Ireland. Tickets for Music Network’s Autumn tour season are available to purchase now at MusicNetwork.ie or from your local venue.

“You’ll Always Treasure It”

“My wife & I loved & treasure our adventure on the 5 Day Vagabond Edge of the World Tour, which was my first tour experience.

We travelled with a great small group, totalling 15 in a comfortable VagaTron 4X4 bus.

Our guide & driver was the wonderful, funny & always helpful Brian.

He had encyclopedic knowledge of Ireland’s history, anthropology, geography and mythology and fascinating stories about the local communities and colorful characters. He knew the best places to eat, drink and hear music.

We explored castles, ancient stone circles and sheepdog herding experiences.

Even at home now, I often think of the experiences and adventures we had.

So, take a Vagabond Tour, you’ll always treasure it.”

Taylor Swift Has Eras Tour Wardrobe Malfunction in Stockholm, Handles It Like a Boss (of Course)

The singer paused her show in Stockholm, Sweden to fix an issue with her mic pack

Taylor Swift is a pro performer — even in the face of wardrobe malfunctions.

During night three of her Eras Tour in Stockholm, Sweden, the 34-year-old singer briefly paused the show to deal with a technical issue.

In a video captured by a fan and shared to TikTok, the Grammy-winner seemingly struggles with her blue wrap dress mid-performance.

“Talk amongst yourselves,” she tells the crowd in the clip before walking over to her piano. She then fusses with her dress until a crew member appears onstage to assist her. Swift partially unwraps the dress, revealing a sparkly gold bra top underneath, which she wears for the new Tortured Poets Department portion of the concert.

Fans in the comments speculated that the issue was actually with Swift’s mic pack rather than her dress, but it certainly wouldn’t be the first wardrobe malfunction for the singer.

During her November 2023 concert in Rio de Janeiro, the heel of her silver Christian Louboutin boots broke during the opening Lover section of the show.

The PEOPLE Puzzler crossword is here! How quickly can you solve it? Play now !

Fan footage from the concert showed Swift reaching down and pulling off the broken heel of the sparkly shoe before throwing it into the crowd. In an X post from Pop Crave, it appears that one lucky fan grabbed the detached heel — a photo shared by the outlet showed the item inside of a concert-goers bag.

Ever the professional, the "Cruel Summer" singer continued her concert, balancing on her toes as she belted out songs from her 2019 album. One fan shared a video of Swift effortlessly walking on an invisible heel — a move very reminiscent of Margot Robbie ’s floating heel in the 2023's Barbie .

In April 2023, Swift’s garter broke while she was performing her song “Lavender Haze” in Tampa, Florida. In a TikTok video shared by a fan account, Swift walked toward her background singers and lifted up the hem of her sequined Oscar de la Renta T-shirt dress to show them that the belt around her leg had snapped off.

Never miss a story — sign up for  PEOPLE's free daily newsletter  to stay up-to-date on the best of what PEOPLE has to offer, from celebrity news to compelling human interest stories.

She played off the moment like an expert, continuing the song while her singers helped detach the garter from the dress and take it off. As this was happening, Swift happened to reach the point in the song with the lyric, "I end up in crisis (tale as old as time)." In true Swift fashion, she gamely which nodded along while throwing her arm up in the air at the apt lyrical moment.

Iconic 00s rock band with catchy hit song announce first UK tour in 15 years

Iconic 2000s band Jet performing on stage

Australian rock band Jet have announced their first UK and Ireland tour in 15 years ahead of the release of their first album for over a decade.

The four-piece, who formed in Melbourne in 2001, haven’t touched down for a tour in the UK since 2009, having primarily played shows in their home country and New Zealand ever since.

But the band have arranged a run of UK and Irish dates in October this year, which will see them play in some of the two countries’ most popular venues.

And they’ll be joining a number of 90s and 00s nostalgia acts touring in the UK again after several years away.

The tour will open on October 3 with a show at the Academy in Dublin before journeying northwards to the Telegraph venue in Belfast on October 4.

They’ll then cross the Irish sea to play SWG3 Galvanizers Yard in Glasgow on October 6, before beginning a run of five shows in England.

Nick Cester and The Milano Elettrica Perform In Milan

Birmingham is the first stop on October 7, playing at the O2 Institute. A Manchester date at the O2 Ritz is then scheduled for October 8.

A two-day break will then give the band time to get to Nottingham, where they’ll play the city’s iconic Rock City venue on October 10.

Bristol’s Marble Factory will host them on October 11, before a final show in London on October 12 at the Kentish Town Forum will bring the tour to a close.

Jet hit the big time in 2003 when their single Are You Gonna Be My Girl became an international hit, charting in the UK and the US, even going Platinum and Gold in those countries respectively.

Jet at the 2023 ARIA Awards

After their initial breakout their moderate success continued well into the late 2000s, with their second album Shine On being certified Gold in the UK in 2006 and their third album Shaka Rock going Platinum in Australia.

However, band do have the dubious honour of being one of only a very small handful of acts to be given a 0.0 out of 10 album review score by notable music publication Pitchfork.

Shine On was greeted harshly by the magazine that, instead of publishing a standard review, attached a YouTube video of a monkey urinating into its own mouth.

Nick Cester and The Milano Elettrica Perform In Milan

Despite the negativity aimed at them by critics, the band continued to have moderate success until the late 2000s, especially in their home country where their songs were charting regularly until their hiatus in 2012.

Nicholas Custer, the band’s lead singer, then spent several years living in Italy, with the band reuniting sporadically to play shows either side of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Despite initially breaking up before Spotify became the dominant force for music listening, Jet still have nearly six million monthly listeners on the platform.

Are You Gonna Be My Girl currently boasts over 600,000,000 streams, while other songs such as Look What You’ve Done have posted almost 100,000,000 in that time.

Arriving via helicopter to flocks of guests and fans eagerly awaiting the Mexican singer-songwriter at Peacock Place in Los Angeles on Tuesday night, Trevi announced she’s embarking on the Mi Soundtrack World Tour in January.

“This night features a lot of nuances for me because the world is going through a very difficult moment,” Trevi said onstage in Spanish. “Every day we wake up to headlines in the news that leave goosebumps on our skin and the latest, a war, when all we want is love and peace.”

Trevi hopes her tour will be a light in people's lives and that it speaks to new generations of listeners, as well as OG fans. "It's universal," Trevi said. "It's going to be a very beautiful tour."

The 32-city U.S. leg of her tour kicks off in Hidalgo, Texas, on Jan. 26 and concludes Sept. 22 in Auburn, Washington.

Trevi has tapped pop singer-songwriter MAR Solís, daughter of Marco Antonio Solís, as her opening act for several shows on the tour.

Trevi will perform in major cities including Los Angeles, San Diego, Phoenix, Dallas, New York, Las Vegas and Denver. The 55-year-old will make a triumphant return to the Coliseo de Puerto Rico after an emotional and moving opening of her previous tour, Isla Divina World Tour, which concluded earlier this year.

The concept of Trevi's tour is inspired by the release of her recent albums, "Mi Soundtrack (Vol. 1)" and "Mi Soundtrack (Vol. 2)." They're compilations of newly recorded versions of her iconic hits "Poder y Fama," "Dr. Psiquiatra" and "Con los Ojos Cerrados," among others.

Trevi will also give life to newly released songs including "Medusa," "Que Se Acabe El Mundo" and "Siempre Yo."

Tickets go on sale Thursday at 10 a.m. local time through LiveNation.com
