Great experience with Sister Bay Scenic Boat Tours! We booked the Peninsula State Park and Horseshoe Island tour online and checked in at the booth. It was the perfect length- an hour and 15 minutes. I was impressed with how punctual they were- when they say boarding is at 10:45, they mean 10:45. After that, the ramp goes up and we're preparing for departure at 11am on the dot. We arrived back at exactly 12:15pm. So don't be late :-) Chuck was our narrator and it was interesting to learn the history of the county. He also pointed out interesting landmarks and told great stories about the area. The views from the top deck were beautiful.

Nice boat, beautiful and scenic views with a friendly crew. We enjoyed having the option of sitting inside our outside on the boat and was great to have a bathroom available on a two hour ride.

This was a relaxing cruise. The music was fun to sing along with and the crew was very friendly and courteous.

We enjoyed a narrated 2 hour tour, up to "Death's Door" at the North end of peninsula. The tour does not sell alcohol on board but allowed BYOB, which we took advantage of. The tour itself was very pleasant, and the boat is quite comfortable. We learned about some of the history of the area, and some of interesting sites along the route. On the return route, the ship's captain allowed the small kids on board a short turn at the ship's wheel.

The tour length of 2 hours was perfect for our group. The tour guide was knowledgeable, and the other staff were helpful and friendly too. We were allowed to bring food/beverage on board; however, there were some options to purchase as well. Would highly recommend it to others.

very enjoyable time and learned quite a bit about Door County. very smooth ride and great staff. Cal, Tom, and Chuck know how to run a boat.

We thought the sunset cruise was nice and the staff were all very personable. The music duo performed well, had an interesting catalogue and were engaging. But overwhelming it all was watching the skipper take his hands off the wheel and offer one child after another the opportunity to "steer the ship." Some were barely old enough to stay upright in the captain's chair! This went on for probably an hour and a half of the hour and forty-five minute cruise. While we could understand if this were a small private boat that the owner might do this, we are talking a large 130+ passenger scenic cruise boat. We would prefer that the captain keep his attention wholly on the wheel, the controls, and the water rather than being distracted by teaching probably 20 children how to skipper the boat. We wondered if it was legal, but we knew it was a foolhardy thing to do. We would not recommend the sunset cruise.

This is an amazing boat tour! Worth every penny of the price! The boat is great, the pilot and staff are so friendly and the music is excellent!! Views are breathtaking!

Excellent! Perfect way to wind down after long day. Just enjoying the beautiful view and getting some fresh air. Crew was very friendly. The highlight of the trip is the live music. Lynn and Tom are professional musicians with a laid back and fun vibe. Played great songs... Van Morrison, eagles, classic songs that make your heart full and grateful to be watching the sunset on the water. I would highly recommend.
