we had a blast today with Scarlett and Scenic Safaris snowmobiling through Yellowstone to Old Faithful! It was so much fun and the Mosse waterfall at the end was the highlight. Scarlett was the most personable, easy going, and kind guide! my kids said she's their fav ever...and we've had lots of tour guides!

The folks at scenic safari are great! It was our first time in Jackson and thought it would be great to see some of the beauty from UTVs. We did a private tour with side by side UTVs. It was a blast. Beau, are guide, was simply awesome!! He explained a ton while we were exploring and he made sure to discuss safety in great detail. I can be nervous and anxious when doing adventurous things but he and the team put our mind at ease. You may look at the price and think it is expensive. It is worth it! Thank you for the memories we made on this trip, it was epic!!!

The shortcoming here has nothing to do with the experience nor the guide. It is management's dishonesty. I booked a 3 1/2 hour private tour. Days later they came back to say only a 4 1/2 hour was available. A sizable up charge. There is no tour you can take that could possibly be greater than 3 1/2 hours. It was simply a rip off. Bad guys. Beware.

January 6, 2024 Yellowstone Snowmobile Trip Highly recommend booking a trip with Brett. He has lots of knowledgeable with the layout of the park and its history. Brett was very patient with the group, even during the process of getting us gear that would fit. He went above and beyond to give us a trip to remember. The Ski-Doo snowmobiles were great!! This trip is well worth the money!!! God Bless Brett!! God is Great!!

Where to start. The company Scenic Safaris was a pleasure to work with. From the moment I called, customer service was amazing. They walked me through what to expect on the trails, the cost, and just the overall process. They promised an amazing time. I was a bit skeptical but was ready for an adventure. We were quoted an amazing price for 2 rentals that fit 7 family members. Upon arrival we did the normal signatures and liability of the vehicles. Walking to the back you and your members will get fitted for helmets. Then what was awesome is that for an extra $50 you can get the vehicles extra dirty. It was worth every penny. I would have paid $100. It was sooo rad to hit 3 to 4 feet of mud. We almost got stuck but sooo rad. My suggestion is hit the trails and hit the mud. Get the added insurance just in case. You never know. So we were off and drove to the trails. One thing I recommend is to use all trails app and download the map of the area because we got a little lost and there was no cell service. So by having our map predownloaded it allowed us to find our trail. There was so much mud and snow and water that we got our vehicle super dirty. We got covered. We had a lot of fun. We would totally do it again and again. It was the best part of our trip to Yellowstone since we were there in the park when it was shut down due to flooding. Rent from Scenic Safari and have a blast.

Amazing trip into Yellowstone in the snow coach! Light snow so far this year in Jackson Hole, but the snow is finally arriving and it was a winter wonderland for our trip. Claude did a fantastic job as our guide! He had a great personality and was very knowledgeable. He showed us all a great time and some beautiful areas that some of the other tour companies passed right by. I'd definitely recommend using this group and asking for Claude if you want to explore Yellowstone in the winter!!

We did the snowmobile trip through Yellowstone to Old Faithful and had an amazing experience. We really got lucky with our guide, Scarlett, as well. She was so great. Highly recommend her and this experience with this company!

We had an awesome time on the snowmobile tour. Scarlett was our guide. She was top-notch. This was our second time doing the tour, and she really outperformed and made this trip better than the last! I'd highly recommend asking for her and going on the snowmobile tour with Scenic Safaris.

Booked a Christmas Day Snowcoach Tour of Yellowstone/Old Faithful through our contact at Brushbuck Tours and am so glad we did. The ride up to the park was great, and our group was asking a lot of questions. As soon as we passed into the park, we saw a coyote! Once we arrived at the parking lot, we transferred from the van to Big Foot, another van hopped up on big snow tires. I'm glad we had this type of vehicle because we heard that the vans with snow treads are noisy. Surprisingly, the ride was smooth, and we felt safe inside. Our guides, Alex and Cooper, stopped multiple times to show us landscapes and waterfalls we would have never seen from the road. They educated us on the types of trees and plants and the animals we saw, including grouse, white-tailed deer, and bison. We saw a mama bison and her calf running along the side of the road, which made for a great photo! Was thrilled to see the lodgepole pine, spruce, and fir trees. They were also kind enough to make a coffee stop at one of the lodges, with was much appreciated! Due to the distance of the park entry and time to get there, the tour was full day, with pick up at 6ish. Worth every penny, only if you ask for Alex or Cooper!

This trip is AMAZING!!! Our tour guide is very professional, knowledgeable, and very informative! He came well Prepared , our trip was fun and he helped check everything off our list while ensuring it was safe! If you do anything... it's request for JEFF!!!!!! He is an all star

Our guided tours offer an opportunity to learn about geological and historical facts of the area, while often providing excellent wildlife viewing and photographic opportunities.

The area is host to some of North America’s most spectacular wild animals, including bear, elk, deer, moose, antelope, coyote, bison, eagles, and more. Our educated, knowledgeable guides are passionate about the beautiful area we get to call home, and it would be our pleasure to share that passion with you and your guests. Exact route for each trip will vary according to group interest and wildlife migration.

Sample Tours:

Grand Teton National Park Guided Tour This tour begins by heading north along the National Elk Refuge into Grand Teton National Park. Learn about the history of the park and Jackson Hole and search for big game animals, such as bison, antelope, moose and bald eagles. Offering a full-day, half-day or sunset guided tours in Grand Teton National Park.

Yellowstone National Park Guided Tour This tour begins by heading north along the National Elk Refuge and Grand Teton National Park into the south entrance of Yellowstone National Park. Every mile will showcase beautiful landscapes, as well as major points of interest such as Old Faithful, the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone, and more! Breakfast, lunch and refreshments are included.

Old Faithful Geyser Basin Hike Learn about the history of America's first National Park, with stops to view thermal features and wildlife. In addition to sightseeing in the park, we’ll take you off of the well beaten path to do some hiking around Yellowstone’s amazing geyser basins. Lunch and refreshments are included.

Grand Canyon Trail Hike Follow the Yellowstone River as it cuts through granite chasms, creating beautiful Yellowstone Falls. The focus of this full day guided trip is for stunning scenery with time for photos and a 4 mile round trip hiking option. Lunch and refreshments are included.

Grand Teton Tours

Jackson Hole is a very special place to visit as it has access to two incredible national parks. As well as easy access to Yellowstone, Grand Teton is Jackson’s backyard. The border of the park sits a mere 4.5 miles from downtown, and 1.5 miles from Teton Village. You are always only minutes from jaw-dropping scenery and exciting wildlife when you visit!

With so many breathtaking things to see, booking a tour can help remove the stress and guesswork of trying to make the most of your time. We offer several different Grand Teton tours – you’re sure to find something that will fit your particular interests and itinerary.

May-October Tours

Half-Day Tours

Don’t have much time but want to see as much as possible? Our half day tours are 4-5 hours long and have the option of either sunrise or sunset. This tour is ideal for getting a taste of what Grand Teton has to offer from towering mountains to vast lakes, from fields of grazing bison to a moose munching in a pond. You might get your fill of scenic beauty from this tour before enjoying the many other activities Jackson has to offer, or you may see things that you want to return to for further exploration in your own time. Either way, you will be surprised how much you will see and learn in a morning or evening with one of our local guides!

Full Day Tours

Want to spend more time out of town and in the park? Slow down and take your time with a full day 8 hour Grand Teton tour. Starting early, you’ll spend the morning searching for wildlife during peak activity before pausing at a scenic spot for a picnic lunch. This tour allows for more time to explore some of the back roads and more hidden spots to see what animals you might stumble across, admire the seasonal wildflowers, and witness the majestic Teton mountain range from different viewpoints throughout the day. This tour is more immersive and allows your guide to dive deeper into the history, geology, wildlife, or whatever your personal interests are of the region.

Grand Teton Wildlife Tour and Scenic Float

Trying to decide between a wildlife safari and a float tour down the scenic Snake River? Why not both? We have partnered with Solitude Float Trips to create a special combination tour, providing you with an action-packed day of wildlife watching, a picnic lunch, and a 10-mile float tour all within Grand Teton National Park. In one tour you will experience the park’s alpine landscape from both land and water with endless photo opportunities. You’ll see varying habitats that are home to a wide range of species, expertly navigated by your professional guides who will provide you with fascinating facts and history all along the way. The tour starts early in the morning and is approximately 8 hours long.

2-Day and 3-Day Bear and Wolf Safari

Really want to see bears and wolves in the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem? Consider a multi-day tour of your choice of 2 or 3 days that will take you on a targeted search for these two highly sought after apex predators. Your experienced guide will know the recent sightings and activities of these animals which change throughout the season. Your tour will cover prime grizzly and wolf habitat in both Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks. Multiple days allow you to take advantage of several peak wildlife activity times during dawn and dusk, maximizing your opportunity for incredible wildlife encounters. 

November-April Tours

Half day wildlife safari.

Spend half a day in the morning or evening exploring the wintery landscape of Grand Teton in this 4-5 hour tour. Seasonal routes depend on weather, road closures, migrating wildlife, and group interests. Winter wildlife differs from the summer months, but is no less exciting!

Best of Jackson Hole Wildlife Safari Tour

What animals can I expect to see?

The Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem is home to an amazingly diverse list of wildlife species! Some of the most frequently observed animals on our safairs are elk, eagles, bison, moose, mule deer, and bears. Black bears are more common than grizzly bears, but both species are most often seen in spring and fall. Wolves are present, but these shy animals are a very uncommon sight in Grand Teton. Other critters such as badgers, coyotes, beavers, otters, and many many more live in this ecosystem, but are not an everyday occurrence! The thrill of wildlife is not knowing what’s around the corner. Every species has certain times of the year where they are more or less likely to be seen, so this will depend on the season in which you are visiting.

What highlights are there to see in Grand Teton?

Grand Teton National Park is rich in both geological wonders and human history. The spectacular Teton range is visible from most areas of the park, and they look different from every angle. Jenny Lake and Jackson Lake are stunning sights to see. Oxbow Bend is a popular spot for a picturesque view of Mount Moran and a great place to look for birds and aquatic species along the Snake River. Stand where Ansel Adams snapped his famous shot of the mountains from the Snake River Overlook. Mormon Row, where you can find the famous Moulton Barn, is a wonderful place to step into the past days of early settlers. There are many more beautiful and fascinating things to see, it would be impossible to list them all here!

What kind of vehicle will we be in?

We provide both private and public tours, but we keep our group sizes small, so you will not be on a big bus. We use spacious SUVs and passenger vans. This allows us to focus on individual guests more closely, have a more personable experience, and we can pull over easily for wildlife sightings!

Yellowstone Old Faithful Snow Coach Tour
