Anche quest'anno l' RDS Play On Tour 2020 partirà, ma con una veste nuova, itinerante, per animare l'estate del Bel Paese! Un RDS PLAY ON TOUR completamente nuovo per questo 2020 da reinventare tutti insieme: musica, intrattenimento e divertimento per tutta l’Italia. Un vero e proprio road tour in viaggio per la penisola che partirà il 23 luglio e raggiungerà tante località su tutto il territorio italiano, non solo balneari, abbracciando quante più regioni possibili, in questo periodo che segna per tutti una ripartenza con il pieno di energia!

Spiaggia libera del Lungomare Europa a Lido di Camaiore, zona antistante a piazza Principe Umberto, accanto allo stabilimento balneare Eugenia, dalle 10.00 alle 22.00. E' l’RDS PLAY ON TOUR SUMMER 2020 , che l’emittente radiofonica nazionale sta portando lungo la Penisola per incontrare i propri ascoltatori e stare sempre più vicini a tutti gli italiani.  

L’evento itinerante,  organizzato con la collaborazione dell’assessorato comunale ai grandi eventi e commercio e l’assessorato regionale alla comunicazione e politiche giovanili , è un ideale abbraccio a chi ha saputo superare le difficoltà degli ultimi mesi e che, in questa estate così particolare, vuole ritrovarsi, unirsi per buone cause e condividere le proprie storie e i propri sogni.  Partito da Monza lo scorso 23 luglio, l’RDS Play On Tour Summer 2020 propone un format inedito che, verso le 10.30 e per alcune ore, riempirà di energia e colori piazza De Ferrari dove genovesi e turisti potranno divertirsi trascinati dalla forza della musica e coinvolti nelle attività sostenute dagli sponsor dell’iniziativa. Il tutto nel rispetto delle normative anti-Covid imposte per le manifestazioni estive.

RDS , the main Italian radio, will be in Bormio on January 16, 2016! Our ski area will inaugurate the winter edition 2016 of  RDS Play on Tour .

The tour will bring a successful format: a  village  on the snow, open from Saturday to Sunday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm in  Bormio 2000  with music, games and entertainment, animated by the presenters of RDS: Claudio Guerrini, Rosaria Renna, Petra Loreggian and Beppe De Marco. After the summer is before the next tour: Rammstein will be back in the stadiums of Europe in 2024! This will include a date at the RDS Arena Dublin on Sunday 23rdJune.  Tickets on sale Wednesday 18thOctober at 10am fromTicketmaster.ie Next year, Rammstein will once again pack their impressive stage set and awe-inspiring pyrotechnics into their trucks and hit the road. The millions of people who have attended the band's sold-out shows in recent years can attest to the fact that their shows are unique in their nature, scale and quality. Neil Young + Crazy Horse Announce Love Earth Tour

Today, Neil Young + Crazy Horse have announced their 2024 tour – Love Earth Tour . Produced by Live Nation, the run kicks off with two nights at San Diego’s Cal Coast Credit Union Open Air Theatre on April 24 & April 25 then continues with stops across North America in Arizona, Texas, Georgia, Tennessee, New York, Toronto, Chicago, and more.

TICKETS: Tickets will be available starting with a Neil Young Archives presale beginning on Tuesday, February 13 at 1 PM ET . Additional presales will run throughout the week ahead of the general onsale beginning on Friday, February 16 at 10 AM ET at Livenation.com . At time of purchase, fans can opt in to receive a physical CD of the Neil Young + Crazy Horse new album FU##IN’ UP included with their tickets for no additional cost.

FU##IN’ UP reveals Neil Young + Crazy Horse in all their ragged glory, playing songs from their long relationship. Neil and The Horse have played together for over 50 years and the performances of these familiar songs, recorded in 2023, is a true highlight. The Boss is back next month in Ireland, but it feels like he has never been away.

Bruce Springsteen’s concerts in Belfast, Kilkenny, Cork and Dublin will take place almost a year to the day since his three sold-out shows at the RDS, though it had been a six-year hiatus before that, partially caused by Covid-19.

Familiarity breeds not contempt but loyalty for his legions of Irish fans. By the time he finishes his last Irish show, which is at Croke Park on Sunday May 19th, he will have sold his millionth ticket in Ireland, according to promoter Peter Aiken.

His father, Jim, first took a punt on Springsteen almost 40 years ago when, off the back of the success of the Born in the USA album, he invited Springsteen to play his first concert in Ireland. That was in front of 80,000 fans at Slane Castle in 1985.

That storied concert on the one sunny weekend of an atrocious summer was the beginning of a beautiful friendship between Springsteen and his Irish fans.

He has played 28 shows in Ireland to date, never letting his Irish fans down. He still turns up on time and plays for three hours plus. He will have a 10.30pm curfew at Croke Park with a start time at 7pm. There might well be a lottery as to how long he goes over his allotted time.

He is doing all of this at the age of 74 when a little garden weeding is the height of strenuous activity for many of his contemporaries.

“He doesn’t need the money, but this is what he does. He is an insurance man’s dream, he never cancels,” said Aiken.

He begins his Irish tour on May 9th in Boucher Road, Belfast, followed by Kilkenny on May 12th, Páirc Uí Chaoimh on May 16th and Croke Park on May 19th. He will have sold 350,000 tickets in a calendar year in Ireland.

Aiken reckons there is a new audience for Springsteen in Ireland among the children and the grandchildren of those for whom he provided the soundtrack of their lives. “His youngest fan base in the world is in Ireland. If you went to other countries it would all be people like me,” he said.

Springsteen’s first concert at Croke Park was in 2016. According to Aiken, the musician was amazed at the size of the stadium and even more amazed that those who played in it were amateur sportspeople.

Croke Park stadium director Peter McKenna said concert revenue is a large part of its financial plan and 83 per cent of it goes back into the GAA.

Just 22,000 supporters turned up for the Leinster semi-finals in Croke Park on Sunday and there is a clamour for these games to be taken out of the venue and put into provincial locations.

McKenna said the crowds will increase in Croke Park when the “jeopardy games” start to kick in after the provincial championships are ended.

“I wouldn’t take a judgment on one weekend. It certainly isn’t troubling us,” he said.
