Fantastic friendly service
Fantastic friendly service. Charlotte was incredibly helpful in, not only booking my tour but also additional stays after the tour finished. Everything worked out perfectly and I was able to enjoy my trip knowing everything was taken care of.

Thank you for your 5 star review. We are delighted that you had an enjoyable holiday and that Charlotte helped to make sure everything went smoothly.
I contacted American Sky as we were…looking to book a fly drive holiday in New England
I contacted American Sky as we were looking for a fly drive holiday in New England. Marie was very helpful and knowledgeable and tweaked the holiday to meet our needs, 1 more night in Boston and a more central hotel. Everything ran smoothly apart from Dollar rentacar giving us a huge 8 seat Honda Odyssey (for 2 people) when we had booked a ‘medium’ sized car to travel around New England. Everything else was great and without issue. I would recommend American Sky for their good customer service prior to travelling.
Date of experience : 03 October 2023
Thank you for your positive review. We're sorry that Dollar gave you such a large car, it sounds like they wanted to give you a free upgrade, but often it's not required with such large vehicles! Despite this, we're glad everything ran smoothly and hope you had a lovely holiday.
Charlotte was a complete professional.
Charlotte was fantastic to deal with. Tailored our trip to our exact wishes and communicated everything very clearly. Also, kept us up to date the very minute an airline made any change. The transaction from our first conversation to arriving home was flawless.

Thank you for your 5 star review, we are delighted that everything went seamlessly. We look forward to helping you plan and book your next trip.
USA holiday of a lifetime
We were guided by Yvonne who was great. We originally wanted a California fly drive but wasn’t possible given our party size. But recommended a multicentre holiday with internal flights. plenty of flexibility to vary to suit our needs. Yvonne got us great hotels and flights with perfect timings. Really wonderful holiday as a result!
Date of experience : 01 September 2023
Thank you for taking the time to write such a lovely 5 star review. We are delighted that you had a wonderful multicentre holiday.
Flydrive holiday with a route including New York, Bar Harbor, Quebec, Niagrara, Washington which we based on a 2 week defined tour offered by Canada Sky which we then asked to be amended to include additional nights in certain locations and new locations. This was all handled quite effortlessly by Connor and within 2 days we had the itinerary we wanted. We suffered two departure flight cancellations , British Airways at fault, which meant WE made decisions to fly from different airport, change hotel stays, period of hire car, etc which was handled very efficiently by Julie and Tracey as we discussed with them and re-arranged, which was much appreciated and relieving some of the stress. Yes this was done at our expense, of which we hold British Airways accountable for and from whom compensate is being sought, which can take months. Regarding the itinerary, its one to see as much of this part of USA/Canada in a short space of time so take ownership of knowing what you want to see, we booked our own tours. Some of the hotel accommodation was basic, clean but rooms a little tired, and then there was some that we were surprised would be included for the price we paid. In general very pleased with the holiday for the price we paid and the support from the customer services team

Thank you for your positive review, we are sorry that you experienced a flight delay with BA, but are pleased to hear that our team were able to help and relieve some of the stress. We're delighted that you still had a good holiday.
We have had the best holiday with lots…
We have had the best holiday with lots of travelling to Boston, Nashville, New York Philly and Washington. Alan organised it so well so we had enough time to see all the things we wanted to see. We had great hotels and flights and trains all booked perfectly. Every detail was as we had asked. Thank you so much for making this a fab memorable holiday

Iconic Route 66 holiday ruined
Iconic Route 66 holiday ruined by some appalling accommodation. We missed some stops along the way due to some of the hotels being totally unfit for purpose. We sent loads of photos highlighting just how bad things were. Since our return we still are awaiting any form of compensation even when we alerted the company immediately whilst away of all the problems. Update December 2022: still no compensation or resolution. This company refuses to take ownership of the problems.
Date of experience : 11 October 2022
We are truly sorry that you feel your holiday was ruined. We tried to help whilst you were in America by instructing the tour company to change your hotels. You declined and chose to book your own alternatives and we repaid your out of pocket expenditure. As you are aware, our Customer Services team have asked the ground handling agents to reinvestigate the complaint and we are awaiting their response. We have chased again and will be in touch as soon as we hear. Apologies once again.
Route 66 Trip
Booked everything through American Sky and the whole process couldnt have been better. They sorted our Flights, Hotels and Car Hire. Everything when we got there was perfect too. Nice hotels, good flights and car hire. Company was very helpful throughout the entire process! Definitely recommend the company.

Thank you for your 5 star review, we are delighted that you had a great trip and found everything to be perfect. Route 66 is one of our most popular self drive holidays as it is such a great itinerary. Thank you for recommending us.
Shocking customer service avoid at all costs
American sky were extremely helpful when making booking. Unfortunately my flight was cancelled by the airline and my holiday was cancelled. This is where my nightmare started with American sky. Refused to help me said I had to contact insurance. Insurance paid for hotels but I have to claim cost of flights through airline. As American sky booked it I have to rely on them to speak to the airline. I was told this was being chased and would take six weeks. We are now well over six weeks American sky not answering my calls or emails. Absolutely shocking customer service. Once they had my money they forgot about me. AVOID
Date of experience : 10 September 2022
We are really sorry that you have experienced such poor service from us. Our Customer Services team have escalated to the airline's account manager, because we agree, it is not acceptable for the airline to take so long to reply and resolve this. We completely understand your frustration and please be assured that we are doing everything we can to obtain a refund from the airline. As soon as our Customer Services team receive an update, they will be back in touch with you. Until then, your patience is very much appreciated.
Brilliant company. Knowledgeable, friendly and listen to everything you want from your holiday and will give you various packages to choose from. Also very competitive pricing. We have travelled to Mexico and Florida with this company and both holidays have been perfect, with top rate service and no problems encountered. Would definitely use again- they go that extra mile for you.

New York and Toronto
This was our 1st time to New York and Toronto we had a great time with both hotels in good location, just beware of the taxis from airport to hotel as they will try and rip you off.!! We also had a day trip to Niagara Falls which was fantastic with lunch just don't buy any drinks with lunch well over priced.!! But over all we had a great experience and good service with American sky

We really enjoyed our self-drive with American Sky
We really enjoyed our self-drive with American Sky, and had a lot of really good recommendations for things to and places to see. However the driving distances between each resort were very long, and we often felt rushed and had to miss out things. But it was a great holiday and everything had been put in place for us, so there were no glitches.

Wonderful escorted tour
Just returned from Eastern Discovery Tour to USA and Canada. From booking to now it has been a great experience. Staff at American Sky are always helpful and efficient. The tour itself was excellent, very well organised and we had a great tour guide, Andrea and coach driver, Dale. We got to see so much and got a lot of extra information from our guide. The hotels used were very good standard. We couldn't fault anything and would highly recommend booking through American Sky.

Two amazing fly drives!
We’ve booked two holidays through American sky in the last couple of years! One was a Californian flydrive and the other was a New England fly drive! Both were amazingly organised and so well priced! They provided all the information we need as well as booked trips en route! We had such amazing holidays!!

Thank you Jennifer for booking with us once again. We believe Adam was our expert assisting with your travel plans - having self-driven in the USA and Canada himself, he is pretty knowledgeable.
We booked a multi stop trip to New…
We booked a multi stop trip to New York, Boston and New England for my 50th birthday. Cheryl was fantastic throughout, knowledgeable, friendly, always returned phone calls/emails in a timely manner, super customer service. Due to Covid, we have had to cancel our trip and Cheryl continued to be as helpful as before. We will be getting back in touch and booking the trip again as soon as it is safe to travel......

Well planned and efficiently run
Western Discovery USA Very smoothly and efficiently run throughout. Our tour guide and driver were both very friendly and polite throughout. Tour guide very knowledgeable kept everything relaxed. Hotels exceelent mostly to a very high standard one or two of the stops on the tour could have done with being a bit longer but apart from that fine. Would definitely recommend this company to anyone.

USA self drive tour
This is my second holiday through American Sky. Service provided via the phone is excellent. Any queries were quickly answered and worries were put to rest. The holiday itself went smoothly, the only issues were to do with the hire car (mainly the awful sat nav we were provided with). I would absolutely recommend the best of the west self drive tour...amazing!

Great trip on the Western Discovery Tour
We have just returned from an incredible trip to the west of the USA (Western Discovery Tour) and it was fantastic (as were the additional 3 nights in Waikiki Beach.)Great itinerary, marvellous optional extras, absolutely outstanding guide and driver. We could not fault any of it and all the hotels were comfortable. We have previously taken a trip to the Deep South a few years ago which was also excellent. I would thoroughly recommend.

Thank you for your 5 star review. We are delighted that you had such a great holiday to America and everything went smoothly.
Booked over the phone and agent very knowledgeable and helpful. Tour was excellent with fantastic choice of places to see. We stayed at numerous hotels and all excellent. Our Tour Direct Mark Roberts was incredibly informative and knowledgeable, friendly and good fun. Surely one of the best in the USA. Its been a great pleasure to deal with American Sky.

Me and my partner are from the UK and we are planning to book a holiday in America.
we found in the internet a tour operator called "American sky" and we actually like the itinerary they offered. But we do not know if this tour operator is really existing and not a fly by night.
How would I know if this company is genuine?. It would be great to hear from anybody who have had experienced with this tour operator and what do they think about their service.
It'll be greatly appreciate your comments, view and advice.
Thank you very much and hope to hear from you soon.
Ronnie, welcome to TripAdvisor.
The company is very legit, UK based, but it is mostly just a travel agent reselling other people's tours.
Here are reviews on the parent company, Travel Sky.
Thank you very much for your message.
We've also read some reviews online about the legality this tour operator and we thought that it should be alright booking with them. We are now looking at it plus some of details of the tour itinerary then we might have a go with American sky.
Again thank you and hope it'll be a good one.
American Sky are reneging on their obligations under consumer law and are currently withholding £3600 that we are legally entitled to as a refund for a holiday cancelled because of COVID-19.
Nothing but time-wasting, evasiveness and fobbing off from their customer relations and MD Mike Collins.
Strongly advise that when travel resumes you avoid them, if indeed they are still in business. They are all charm while you're handing over your hard-earned cash. We are now escalating this to legal proceedings against them.

Taylor Swift lands at LAX Saturday from Japan, in time for Super Bowl LVIII
By KCAL-News Staff
Updated on: February 10, 2024 / 8:00 PM PST / KCAL News
Taylor Swift's mad dash to Las Vegas in time for the Super Bowl is almost complete, as the pop star's private jet landed at Los Angeles International Airport Saturday afternoon following a flight from Japan.
Swift flew straight to L.A. on the heels of four concerts in Tokyo as part of her Eras Tour. She is expected to be in attendance at Super Bowl LVIII when her boyfriend, star Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, takes on the San Francisco 49ers at Allegiant Stadium.
Swift trackers speculate that she could be driving from Los Angeles to Vegas for the Super Bowl.
Ever since the Chiefs secured their Super Bowl berth, the big question has been whether Swift will be able to make it from Japan to Vegas in time for the game. Fortunately, time was on the singer's side.
With the 17-hour time difference between Japan's capital and Vegas, it was 1 a.m. Vegas time when she took the stage in Tokyo. After her final song, Swift rushed to a private jet at Haneda Airport. With the time difference, Swift was able to land back in the U.S. with hours to spare before Sunday's kickoff.
The next leg of Swift's tour is in Australia, beginning Feb. 16.
The flight from Vegas to Melbourne, where Swift will be performing, is approximately 18 hours. Unlike the trip from Japan, the time difference won't be in her favor, with Melbourne 19 hours ahead of Las Vegas. Even so, Swift will have plenty of time to enjoy the Super Bowl and make it to Australia in time for her show.
Super Bowl LVIII will air on CBS and Nickelodeon and stream on Paramount+ on Feb. 11 from Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. Kickoff is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. ET.

’Ridiculous’: Taylor Swift fans’ final battle with Ticketek ends in heartbreak
Taylor Swift fans still desperately hoping to see her in action are being thrown one final lifeline, just days ahead of her Aussie tour.
Aussie everyone’s loving reveals big news
UK star’s late-night Sydney Maccas run
Jimmy Barnes’ big news after heart surgery
Just when Swifties thought all hope was lost, a surprise final release of tickets was announced on just days out from The Eras Tour opening night - but sadly it’s already sparked heartbreak for some who fell at the final hurdle.
Frontier and Ticketek threw one last lifeline to fans and announced a limited number of tickets, including $65.90 restricted view seats, which went on sale Tuesday 13 February.
Tickets for all three Melbourne concerts were up for grabs first Ticketek website at 2pm AEDT, and they sold out within an hour.
Tickets for all four Sydney concerts are still up for grabs though, and will go on sale at 4pm AEDT.
Ticketek has warned fans the sale will continue until allocations are exhausted in a “first in best dressed” battle for one last chance to see the US megastar.
Following Melbourne’s ticket allocation being exhuasted, fans rushed to social media to share their frustrations.
One tweeted: “This is just getting ridiculous let me in Ticketek!!” with a second saying: “I don’t believe in heaven or hell but if I did I’d know which one I am in now… again.”
However, a small handful of fans were lucky, with one tweeting excitedly: “After months and months of not being able to get a singular ticket after multiple sales not being let in past the lounge, I finally got into the lounge and managed to get a B reserve to #erastour.”
The final drop comes as nothing short of a miracle for thousands of fans who missed out on tickets ahead of The Eras Tour premiere date this Friday 16 February in Melbourne.
Swift will perform her highly-anticipated show in front of the largest audience of her career to date when she hits the iconic MCG stage this week.
The star’s three Melbourne shows will also see Swift break the MCG’s record for the most tickets sold by one artist at the venue.
After Melbourne she will head to Sydney to perform four back-to-back shows at Accor Stadium from the 23-26 February.
Special guest Sabrina Carpenter is set to perform as the opening act across all seven Aussie shows.
The latest chance to see Swift comes months after a batch of spots opened up across all venues, offering discounted seats in exchange for a partially-obstructed side view of the performance.
Earlier this year, Swift had also added two more shows to the Aussie leg of her popular tour following overwhelming demand for tickets during pre-sales in June.
More than a million fans had flooded the Ticketek website in the hopes of securing one of just 450,000 tickets to the initial three Sydney and two Melbourne stadium shows.
It is estimated Swift’s Eras Tour will rake in an eye-watering $1.5 billion globally, making it the highest grossing tour of all time.
It marks the first time Swift has been to Australia since her Reputation tour in 2018.
In the years since, she’s released four new albums and re-released several of her earlier records.
Eras will cover a full sweep of her music catalogue, with more than 40 songs over three-and-a-half hours.
Based on the US shows she’s performed so far, the performance will be split into 10, non-chronological “eras” for each of her albums.
It begins with six songs from Lover, moving into three songs from Fearless , five songs from evermore , four songs from Reputation , one song from Speak Now , four songs from Red – including the 10-minute version of All Too Well – seven songs from folklore , five songs from 1989 and wrapping up with seven songs from Midnights .
An in-demand Aussie artist who is making waves on a global scale has announced his largest ever Australian tour.
The singer left a Sydney McDonald’s worker “screaming” in disbelief after popping in to the fast-food joint for a late-night meal.
The Australian rocker has addressed fans less than two months after he underwent major lifesaving surgery following heart complications.
