We had a wonderful airboat ride tour. We saw a lot of alligators, learned some history and experienced all the capabilities of the air boat on land on water and through grass. We saw the awesome alligator infested bald Cedarwoods, Infested with alligators just like in the eerie movies. Chelsea was a great hostess, and a wonderful airboat operator. I highly recommend this tour. This tour was the highlight of our trip to Orlando area.

What a thrilling adventure !! We saw many large gators, beautiful birds and breathtaking scenery. Chelsea answered our calls and responded back promptly. We thoroughly enjoyed our first airboat ride. Chelsea was a great guide, she gave us a lot of background information and pointed out lots of gators, and showed us a gator nursery that she had been watching herself, we were able to see lots of baby gators. If we spotted a gator, she would turn the boat around and try to catch them again for us. We had such a great time, that we will be back.

We had a boat tour with Captain Chris and honestly if I had the time this holiday I would go again! It was amazing! The marsh was picturesque and full of wildlife. We were even lucky enough to see a few alligators! Our Captain was great ; very friendly and informative! An absolute 10/10.

Did you know that the alligator has a cousin here in Florida, the American crocodile? This species of crocodile is, fortunately for us, not as big or aggressive as the varieties found in Africa or Australia. The endangered Florida panther calls the Everglades home, along with the West Indian manatee, dolphins, and many other animals associated with the southeast U.S., such as raccoons, opossums, foxes, frogs galore, and reptiles such as turtles and snakes.

Many of these animals, such as Burmese and African Rock pythons, along with Monitor and Tegu lizards, were either abandoned pets or escaped from reptile importers in South Florida.

Unfortunately, they are having a negative impact on the natural Florida wildlife in the Everglades, and federal and state agencies, along with area residents, are working to humanely eradicate the invasive species in the Everglades, especially Everglades National Park.

You can find many species of endangered birds in the Everglades, including the wood stork, the snail kite, and the red-cockaded woodpecker.
