While his Hollywood plans may be up in the air after his defamation case against his ex-wife Amber Heard, Johnny Depp knows exactly what he’s doing next summer. He’s going on a tour of Europe with his rock band, the Hollywood Vampires.

The “Pirates of the Caribbean” actor will rejoin bandmates and rock personalities Joe Perry, Alice Cooper and Tommy Henriksen for their upcoming summer 2023 gigs in Germany and Luxembourg.

“The Hollywood Vampires are BACK!!” the band’s official Instagram posted on Wednesday.

According to the social media post, the four-person band will play six shows throughout the month of June next summer. The first show will be in Oberhausen, Germany, at the Rudolf Weber-Arena on June 20, 2023. The post also teases that fans should “keep an eye out for more to come...”

The Hollywood Vampires will hit the road nearly three years after canceling their European summer tour twice due to COVID-19. The Europe shows were initially slated for 2020 but rescheduled to 2021 due to COVID-related safety concerns. Then in 2021, the band revealed via social media posts that it would reschedule its 2021 tour due to COVID-19 traveling restrictions.

The news of the group’s upcoming tour dates comes just weeks after Depp won approximately $10.4 million in the contentious defamation trial against ex-wife Heard. The trial, which came to a close earlier this month after six weeks, also saw jurors award Heard $2 million in damages.

Even before jurors reached a verdict in early June, Depp continued performing alongside English guitarist Jeff Beck. According to Variety , the actor made a surprise appearance at Beck’s May 30 show at the Royal Albert Hall in London. The two collaborated on the upcoming single “This Is a Song for Miss Hedy Lamarr.” In 2020, Beck and Depp also released a cover of John Lennon’s “Isolation.”

Johnny Depp has announced the revival of his supergroup, The Hollywood Vampires , for a 2023 European tour.

The actor will reunite with the band’s core members, Alice Cooper and Aerosmith’s Joe Perry , with whom he formed the group in 2012.

Rhythm guitarist Tommy Henriksen, who performed with them during their 2015 debut live performance in Los Angeles, will also be joining.

On Tuesday (21 June), the rock band’s official Instagram shared the news alongside a new tour poster.

The caption reads: “The Hollywood Vampires are BACK!! We’re coming to Germany and Luxembourg Summer 2023!

“Tickets go on sale Monday 27 June at 11:00am CET.”

Since their formation, the group have released two studio albums, Hollywood Vampires (2015) and Rise (2019).

The news follows Depp’s legal victory in his high-profile defamation case against ex-wife Amber Heard .

A jury found that Heard had defamed Depp on all three counts and awarded him $10m (£8m) in compensatory damages and $5m (£4m) in punitive damages. Heard was awarded $2m (£1.6m) in compensatory damages, but no punitive damages.

Before and after his trial win, the actor and musician was seen performing around the UK with rocker Jeff Beck, ahead of the pair’s forthcoming album, which releases next month .

Recently, Depp issued a warning to fans addressing the rise in fake profiles pretending to be him.

Heard however sat down last week with NBC’s Savannah Guthrie in her first full-length TV interview since the trial .

The Hollywood Vampires – Alice Cooper, Johnny Depp, Joe Perry and Tommy Henriksen – are hitting the UK next year…

Hollywood Vampires have announced a 2023 UK arena tour with Seether and The Tubes.

The supergroup – compromised of Alice Cooper , Johnny Depp, Joe Perry and Tommy Henriksen – will “rise again” next summer for six shows in Scarborough, Swansea, Manchester, London, Birmingham and Glasgow.

“Well, it’s already been three years since the Vampires have toured because of COVID,” says Alice Cooper. “Also, Johnny has his movies, Joe’s in Aerosmith and I’m in Alice Cooper, so we have to look at that whole thing and see when we can all get a month or two off where we can go out and tour. And, we are going to be doing that, next summer coming up, 2023. I can't wait to get back with the guys, I really love being in that band. My band is great and wonderful, but playing with the Vampires is an entirely different situation. I don’t necessarily do any theatrics at all, I’m just the lead singer, in a band, and the band just happens to be one of the best bands around! It’ll be great to see Johnny and Joe and Buck and Chris and all the guys. We’ll be rocking these places, especially the UK, I can’t wait to get to the UK! Lock your doors, put garlic all around, because the Vampires are coming!”

Joe Perry adds: “Next summer it will be finally time for the Hollywood Vampires to rise again! We can’t wait to play the songs from our latest album, Rise, for all our fans across the pond. The excitement builds as we countdown the days! See you all then…remember, leave the garlic at home!”

The supergroup are set to play Germany and Luxembourg, with more shows to be announced

Johnny Depp will head out on a European tour next summer with his band Hollywood Vampires , which features  Alice Cooper , Joe Perry and Tommy Henriksen.

The rock supergroup, which formed in 2012, were due to play a UK and European tour in 2021 but were forced to cancel due to the ongoing coronavirus crisis .

A statement read: “We are beyond disappointed to announce that the Hollywood Vampires must cancel our rescheduled UK/European tour this Summer.

“We kept trying to make it happen, but unfortunately due to the uncertainty of COVID-19 travel restrictions, it is just not possible. Full refunds will be honored through your original point of purchase.”

The new dates will see the group heading to Germany and Luxembourg for a scheduled six shows in summer 2023, with more dates reportedly due to be announced.

The dates are as follows:

JUNE 2023 20 – Rudolf Weber-Arena, Oberhausen, Germany 21 – Rockhal, Esch-sur-Alzette, Luxembourg 24 – Olympiahalle, Munich, Germany 27 – Stadtpark, Hamburg, Germany 28 – Citadel Music Festival, Berlin, Germany 30 – Summer in the City, Mainz, Germany

Earlier this month, Depp and and Jeff Beck  shared a new cover of The Velvet Underground’s ‘Venus In Furs’.

Depp made headlines last month (May 29)  when he was a surprise guest at Beck’s show in Sheffield . The pair performed covers of  John Lennon ,  Marvin Gaye  and  Jimi Hendrix , and the actor went on to  join Beck on stage at a handful of other gigs  despite awaiting the verdict in his defamation trial against his ex-wife Amber Heard at the time.

The pair are  set to release a collaborative album called ’18’  next month. The album was recorded over the past three years and is due out on July 15.

Elsewhere, Depp thanked fans for their support  in a message on social media  after winning his defamation trial against ex-wife Heard .

Following the ruling Depp was awarded $10million (£8million) in compensatory damages and $5million in punitive damages. Heard was awarded $2million in compensatory damages for her counterclaim against Depp.  Heard plans to appeal the verdict .

Fresh off his headline-making defamation trial, Johnny Depp will be joining his Hollywood Vampires bandmates on a tour of Europe.

The band announced the six-date run, which kicks off almost exactly one year from now, on Wednesday (June 22). “The Hollywood Vampires are BACK!! We’re coming to Germany and Luxembourg Summer 2023! Tickets go on sale Monday 27 June at 11:00am CET. Keep an eye out for more to come…,” the group captioned the post on social media.

Depp, Alice Cooper , Joe Perry and Tommy Henriksen will kick off the tour June 20, 2023, at Rudolf-Weber Arena in Oberhausen, Germany, followed by shows in Esch-sur-Alzette, Luxembourg’s Rockhal; Olympiahalle in Munich; Stadtpark in Hamburg; Berlin’s Zitadelle Spandel; and Zitadelle Mainz in Mainz, Germany.

The embattled actor recently made a surprise appearance at a Jeff Beck concert at the end of May in London, performing their 2020 John Lennon remake “Isolation” just two days after his team of lawyers made closing arguments in his bitterly contested defamation lawsuit against ex-wife Amber Heard. (Depp was ultimately awarded more than $10 million in damages by the judge, while the Aquaman actress received just $2 million in her libel countersuit.)

Days after the show, Depp and Beck announced they’d be releasing a joint album titled 18 this summer. Due July 15, the 13-track collection will feature two originals by the onetime Captain Jack Sparrow (“Sad Motherf—-in’ Parade” and “This Is a Song for Miss Hedy Lamar”) as well as covers of classic songs by The Beach Boys, Marvin Gaye, Janis Ian, The Velvet Underground and others.

The band was formed back in 2012 by Alice Cooper, Johnny Depp and Joe Perry. The name was inspired by the celebrity drinking club formed by Cooper in the 70s at the Rainbow Bar & Grill in Los Angeles, that also had names like John Lennon, Harry Nilson, Ringo Starr, Keith Moon and Mickey Dolenz.

Other touring members that had been with the band over the years were Duff McKagan (Guns N’ Roses), “Robert DeLeo (Stone Temple Pilots) and Matt Sorum (Guns N’ Roses, The Cult, Velvet Revolver). They released two studio albums, the self-titled debut in 2015 and their second “Rise” in 2019. Besides celebrating classic Rock and Roll bands covering them on the setlist, the band also plays some original tracks released on the two albums.

Did my Meet and Greet had a brief conversation with Johnny Depp was able to thank him for making me smile when I went through chemo treatments for a couple of years on and off. I would watch him on interviews and I would laugh at a time when laughter was not often.Johnnyis not particularly fond of interviews and promoting movies.Johnny took my hands and hugged me and kissed me on the cheek and asked is all ok now I said yes all is good ,I just wanted to thank him. THEN they moved me along. I said to Alice pleasure to meet you I have been following you like forever.Tjen came Joe I said nice to meet you and your grand daughter just turned a year old on the 11th of May he just looked at me and said what just as i wad gonna walk away he points at me and said OH YER and smiled. The concert was FREAKING AWESOME to hear Johnny finally show himself. He always said he couldn't sing unless in character. Well JOHNNY DEPP YOU BLEW ME AWAY WITH YPUR SOLO'S .FROM THE HEART SO HAPPY FOR HIM. IF YOU HAVE THE CHANCE THIS IS A MUST SEE CONCERT. THE TALENT ON THE STAGE IS ABSOFUCKINGLUTLY INCREDIBLE. ♥♥♥

I bought the $1500 vip package where I got to meet the band and get front row seating and everything. I bought it cause I thought it would be sick to meet Johnny Depp. Obviously.

Well... The meet and greet started 1.5 hours later than they said It would. Then when it finaly started, we each got literally FOUR SECONDS to see the band. We had to talk as the pictures were being taken. 4 seconds no joke. And if you want to talk totem at all you risk ruining your pictures. Soooo Meet and greet sucked.

That being said, the concert itself was great. Awesome show.

It was a great show Johnny Depp was awesome, very talented! Even though Joe Perry was not present, Alice's guitar player was amazing. I really love the Hollywood Vampires and I hope they are around for a long time. I would love to see them again with a Joe Perry;best wishes for a speedy recovery. Excellent show and "fun" fundraising experience! I was very surprised at the extra effort band members went to to connect with the audience. I came to Phoenix from Oregon to see the Pudding Show with my family including my eleven year old son with full Alice make up. I hope to see it again next year!

They put on a great show and joe perry even came on stage for one of they're encore songs at the end. I was at the Detroit show so they made sure to perform some songs that had been written there. Amazing, would definitely see them again

The show in Denver was awesome! Alice Cooper was at his best! Joe Perry is one of the best guitar players ever! Johnny Depp did a rockin job on the song Heroes by David Bowie! Fantastic night of rock! Will go see them again!

The Hollywood vampire concert was amazing! I would go again, and again, and again if I could !!! There were so many people of different ages, some for Alice, and of course some for Johnny Dep!! It was just fantastic!

Hollywood Vampires anounce UK tour dates

The supergroup play 6 dates

Hollywood Vampires have today announced a UK tour for 2023, taking in arenas around the country.

Alice Cooper , Joe Perry , Johnny Depp and Tommy Henriksen bring their "best bar band in the world" to our shores for the first time since 2018, vowing to pay tribute to their British rock heroes by peppering their sets "with songs from The Who , Led Zeppelin , David Bowie , Motörhead and more."

The tour kicks off in Scarborough on Wednesday 5th July 2023, before calling at Swansea (Fri 7th July), Manchester (Sat 8th July), London (Sun 9th July), Birmingham (Tue 11th July), and culminating in Glasgow (Wed 12th July).

Support comes from South-African hard rockers Seether, and San Franciscan punk legends The Tubes.

Tickets to all dates go on sale from Planet Rock Tickets at 10am on Friday 28th October.

Speaking about the tour, Planet Rock's very own Alice Cooper says: "Well, it’s already been three years since the Vampires have toured because of Covid. Also, Johnny has his movies, Joe’s in Aerosmith and I’m in Alice Cooper, so we have to look at that whole thing and see when we can all get a month or two off where we can go out and tour. And, we are going to be doing that, next summer coming up, 2023.

"I can't wait to get back with the guys, I really love being in that band. My band is great and wonderful, but playing with the Vampires is an entirely different situation. I don’t necessarily do any theatrics at all, I’m just the lead singer, in a band, and the band just happens to be one of the best bands around!

He concludes: "It’ll be great to see Johnny and Joe and Buck and Chris and all the guys. We’ll be rocking these places, especially the UK, I can’t wait to get to the UK! Lock your doors, put garlic all around, because the Vampires are coming!"

Johnny Depp to Tour Next Summer with the Hollywood Vampires

A year from now, during the summer of 2023, Johnny Depp will be on tour with his supergroup the Hollywood Vampires, traveling around Germany and Luxembourg, with more shows likely to be added between now and then.

Depp, who recently came out victorious in his defamation lawsuit against former wife Amber Heard, is making plans to rebuild his name, his brand, and his life.

One of the first steps in that plan is the newly announced European tour with the Hollywood Vampires, which features Alice Cooper, Joe Perry, and Tommy Henriksen.

The band, which formed 10 years ago in 2012, was set to play in the U.K. and Europe in 2021 but was forced to cancel because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Now, the old rockers are back.

The band had said in a statement last year, “We are beyond disappointed to announce that the Hollywood Vampires must cancel our rescheduled UK/European tour this Summer.

“We kept trying to make it happen, but unfortunately due to the uncertainty of COVID-19 travel restrictions, it is just not possible. Full refunds will be honored through your original point of purchase.”

The Hollywood Vampires announced the new string of dates via their social media, taking to Instagram to write, “The Hollywood Vampires are BACK!! We’re coming to Germany and Luxembourg Summer 2023! Tickets go on sale Monday 27 June at 11:00 am CET. Keep an eye out for more to come…”

The band’s forthcoming shows will land them in Germany and Luxembourg, with more shows likely to be scheduled later. See below for those already announced. More information can be found  HERE .

I think Charles Dickens said it best. And while the evocation of his name makes for a strange bedfellow to a drinking fraternity that caroused well over a century later, it could be said that he had the Hollywood Vampires firmly in the crosshairs of his immortal lines. For in an age of over indulgence on every level, it was indeed "The best of times, it was the worst of times, it was the age of wisdom, (well, maybe not that bit) it was the age of foolishness."

I'm not sure it's important to name names; they were obviously men of varied talents and a collective oneness that came together under the umbrella of safety in numbers along with a fondness for channeling the ghosts of hedonists past. While it would be presumptuous to liken them to the literary classics of male crash and burn (I'm talking Rimbaud & Verlaine and Shelly & Byron here) they are in fact those reprobates of swinging London (Burton, O' Toole, Ollie Reed & Richard Harris) who are the most likely to strike a pose as the quintessential theatrical mirror image of the Hollywood Vampires...

We begin our Moscow tour beneath the city, exploring the underground palace of the Moscow Metro. From the Square of Revolution station, famous for its huge statues of soviet people (an armed soldier, a farmer with a rooster, a warrior, and more), we’ll move onto some of the most significant stations, where impressive mosaics, columns, and chandeliers will boggle your eyes! Moreover, these stations reveal a big part of soviet reality — the walls depict plenty of Propaganda , with party leaders looking down from images on the walls. Your local guide will share personal stories of his/her family from USSR times, giving you insight into Russia’s complicated past and present. Then we’re coming back up to street level, where we’ll take a break and refuel with some Russian fast food: traditional pancakes, called bliny. And then, stomachs satiated, we are ready to move forward! We’ll take the eco-friendly electric trolleybus, with a route along the Moscow Garden Ring. Used mainly by Russian babushkas(grannies) during the day, the trolleybus hits peak hours in the mornings and evenings, when many locals use it going to and from their days. Our first stop will be the Aviator’s House, one of Stalin’s Seven Sisters, followed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs — and you’ll hear the legends of what has gone on inside the walls. Throughout your Moscow tour, you’ll learn curious facts from soviet history while seeing how Russia exists now, 25 years after the USSR.

From the very first days of its existence, the Moscow Metro was the object of civil defense, used as a bomb shelter, and designed as a defense for a possible attack on the Soviet Union.

At a depth of 50 to 120 meters lies the second, the coded system of Metro-2 of Moscow subway, which is equipped with everything you need, from food storage to the nuclear button.
