GUNUNG JASAR LOOP TRAIL

Departure: 8am from Maybank (Tanah Rata) (Please make sure to stay in Cameron Highlands the night before departure) Duration: about 4 hours.

Enjoy the view on Cameron Highlands district on the top of mount Jasar. Hike the trail up and down through the part of the local mossy forest to know more of the special flora of our mountains.

CAMERON VALLEY DESCENT (Recommended for Nature Lovers)

Unveil the secrets of of Mother Nature and enjoy the explanations of our professional guide. Follow him as, he brings you on a 5-to-6-hour hike through part of the local Mossy Forest, up to the viewpoint atop Gunung Jasar, followed by a descent towards the Cameron Valley Tea Plantation.

Price:   RM90 per person (2 to 10 persons in the group)

Tea and refreshments at the Cameron Valley Tea Centre are not included in the tour price. Transportation back to Tanah Rata from the Cameron Valley Tea Plantation will be arranged.

BEREMBUN MOSSY FOREST -Private tour with your own guide-

A moderate hike which takes us up through the Gunung Berembun Mossy Forest area and finally, down towards MARDI.

Please note:   Mount Brinchang road to the peak will be closed by the local authorities  from  Thursday, 23rd of May 2024  for about 2 months. Therefore,  the boardwalk will not be accessible during that time.

An alternative route on Mount Brinchang has been authorised by the local Forestry department, under the condition that guests are accompanied by a professional guide: – A short special trail through the mountain Mossy Forest: about 20 min trekking. Extra entry permit fees: extra RM10/person (not included in our prices)

The rest of the program remain otherwise unchanged.

Explore the quartzite summit of Coral Hill before meandering through a trail blessed by mother nature into a mysterious Mossy Forest.

The Coral Hill extends roughly 1650m above sea level. The trail leads to a quartzite summit that is colonized by coral like lichen plants, beds of mosses, primitive lichen, pitcher plants, many species of wild orchids, Rhododendron plants etc.

On clear days you get a beautiful view of the highest mountain in Cameron Highlands- Gunung Brinchang and surrounding area.
