Shania Twain, 57, Is So Toned in See-Through Dress and Fans Are Losing It

She’s been sporting iconic looks during her Queen of Me tour.

• She wore the daring number on the stage in Dublin for her Queen of Me tour.
• Fans are losing it over the stunning look.

The singer shared photos of her look on the flaming hot stage (literally) on Instagram. In one snap, she posed in a powerful stance with flames engulfing the background, in others, she showed her iconic Shania smile while singing loud and proud, her guitar in hand.

“Dublin I had so much fun with you!! 🫶🥰” she captioned the post. “The best thing about a Shania Twain show is you never know what to expect at a Shania Twain show—Taking requests, meeting lots of you, and forgetting the lyrics of my own songs. 😂”

Fans could not get enough of Twain and her daring look. Flame and heart-eye emojis abound in the comments, as well as some written praise from her devoted followers. One wrote: “Killer pics, so beautiful,” while another hoped that she would break her outfit-changing streak and “OMG USE THIS HAIR AND THIS OUTFIT EVERYTIME ❤️❤️❤️❤️”

Twain has said before that there’s a story behind every outfit on her tour. In a recent clip she shared on Instagram, she took fans through the story behind one of her looks for her Glasgow show.

In the video , she explained: “Well this dress was actually a jacket, so now this denim jacket has been ‘Shania’d.’ But a fan did all the patchwork, the embroidery, and everything on the denim jacket and I literally just modified it into a dress, and now it’s a mini dress! …The whole thing is a patchwork fashion so thank you very much to the fan that sent me the jacket. It inspired me to get glamorous and make it one of my numbers on the Queen of Me tour!”

She captioned the post with another thank you to her followers: “Fans do amazing things and I so appreciate it and I want to wear that on my sleeve… quite literally!! 🫶 Glasgow you’re up again—See you in just a few hours! Let’s party! 🤠”

Shania Twain Polishes Off ‘Queen of Me’ Album Announcement With 2023 Tour Dates

Shania Twain will release her sixth studio album Queen of M e on Feb. 3, her first full-length record in nearly six years. Alongside her Republic Nashville debut, the country icon will embark on a global arena tour spanning 49 dates, including stops at Nashville’s Geodis Park on June 7 and at New York’s Madison Square Garden on July 11.

“This new record is fun and celebrative, really on the other side of Now ,” Twain told Rina Sawayama in a recent Rolling Stone Musicians on Musicians interview . “I’m happy in my own skin. I’m celebrating that feeling, less apologetic for who I am and what I’ve become. This is me, and I like myself.”

She added: “A lot of it was written during the pandemic. There’s nothing better for me than to not have enough to do, because the first thing I do is pick up my guitar and start songwriting. Now I’ve got four albums’ worth. I’m not kidding.”

The Queen of Me Tour marks Twain’s first proper trip on the road since the completion of her Las Vegas residency. The span of shows kicks off on Friday, April 28, at Spokane Arena in Spokane, Washington. Twain will appear in Seattle, Vancouver, Calgary, Denver, Los Angeles, Montreal, Kansas City, Dallas, London, Dublin, and more. The tour concludes Sept. 26 at England’s Utilita Arena Birmingham.

This evening, Shania Twain will also receive the  Music Icon  award at the  2022 People’s Choice Awards . As the top-selling female country pop artist of all time, Twain is being honored for her record-breaking career which has spanned over four decades. Stage looked amazing with great props and lighting and Shania sang all her hits and a few more so brilliantly, she got the crowd on their feet and it was just electric. Enjoyed every minute. I had the best time of my life she was everything I expected and more it was a present for my 65th birthday and I certainly wasn't disappointed I loved every minute of it it was absolutely fantastic I couldn't walk after it for a couple of days but it was worth it I've waited 20 years to see her and she was as good as the day she started out and just as beautiful can't wait to see her again could have stayed there all night and we just got home from New Jersey that morning love love loved it

What an amazing energetic awesome concert!!! Shania was better than I ever dreamed she would be. She played for 2 hours straight playing a mix of old and new and sounded so GOOD in person!!! Her female drummer was HOT!! She can play with any guy out there hands down!!! Shania Twain’s Queen of Me Tour rolled into New York City’s Madison Square Garden on Tuesday (July 11), bringing with it a formidable catalog of country classics as well as a kick-ass opener, Breland, one of the more promising fresh faces in country music.

But Breland – who joined Shania mid-show on “Inhale/Exhale Air” from her 2023 album Queen of Me – wasn’t the only surprise guest. NBC Today anchor Hoda Kotb, who is apparently text message pals with Shania, came out and duetted with the legend on one of her best-loved tunes. Plus, several lucky fans got the chance to share the stage with Twain over the course of the night.

“This really is the time of my life, and I really mean that,” Twain said before her raucous three-song encore. “I’m loving life and I’m loving all these moments. I’m overwhelmed by the welcome.”

She also announced that there’s a 25th anniversary edition of her indispensable 1997 album Come On Over on the way, which will features new mixes as well as live recordings of its songs with guests like Elton John, Chris Martin and Alison Krauss & Union Station. Come On Over – 25th Anniversary Diamond Edition drops Aug. 25 via Mercury/UMe and is available for pre-order now ; Come On Over is the best-selling album from a female artist in the Luminate era (1991-present), giving her three of her seven No. 1s on the Hot Country Songs chart.

From duetting with a broadcast legend to wearing the costume from the “Man! I Feel Like a Woman!” music video on stage for the first time ever, here are the best moments from Shania Twain’s NYC tour stop.

A Duet With Hoda

It was a surprise moment we never knew we needed. Shania Twain brought out Today show anchor Hoda Kotb (“we text all the time,” she casually mentioned) to help her celebrate a career milestone (more on that later). Kotb, purple mic in hand, was afforded the treat of a lifetime when Twain blended voices with the broadcast legend for a short a cappella duet on her GOAT ballad “You’re Still the One” before doing the full song (sans Kotb).

Double Diamonds Are a Girl's Best Friend

In addition to the delightful duet, Kotb helped Twain celebrate the fact that Come On Over has sold more than 20 million copies in the U.S. alone with a double diamond platinum plaque. “I am honored to be on this stage in this beautiful Madison Square Garden in the great city of New York to celebrate an incredible moment for this lovely, incredible human being,” Kotb said. Twain, for her part, seemed genuinely touched: “It’s incredible what’s happened with this album and that all of you are still here supporting me.”

Man! I Feel Like Raiding a Museum!

Twain naturally closes out her Queen of Me shows with one of her best-known songs, “Man! I Feel Like a Woman!”, but the July 11 stop in NYC was a little bit different. For the first time ever, she wore her iconic outfit from the music video, designed by Marc Bouwer, during a live performance of the song. “This costume hasn’t seen a stage before, it’s the original,” Twain said, noting the corset has been “in a museum collecting dust,” so she decided to take it out for a spin. (Yes, a quarter of a century later, it still fits perfectly.)

Hyde Your Kids

In addition to bringing several couples onstage as she sang “From This Moment On,” Twain brought up two life-long listeners for a special moment with her. The fans, one from Canada, the other from the U.K., became besties in NYC, bonding over their love for Shania; before long, they both realized they had been to the same Shania show in London’s Hyde Park when they were both eight years old. “It’s lovely that you met through music and you’re here all these years later,” Twain said.

Honey Badgering

Sometimes, you gotta sing for your supper, and Shania put the MSG crowd to work before a spirited take on “Honey, I’m Home.” Dividing the MSG crowd into three sections, Twain asked each one to sing the word “honey” in a different key – and she wasn’t playing around. After an unsatisfactory test run from one side of the arena, she asked another side to perform, which it did admirably. “See? That’s how it’s done,” she jokingly chided the first group of people.

Dance With the One That Brought You

We’d be remiss not to salute her two backup dancers, whose enthusiasm and verve kept the energy up the entire show. The duo’s tap-dancing showdown interlude, which gave Twain a chance to change costumes, was far more impressive and entertaining than the kind of video segments stars typically use to keep the audience occupied when they’re off stage.

Memories to Boot

There were a few reflective moments throughout the course of the night. Twain shared how Dolly Parton’s songwriting influenced her growing up and recalled the inauspicious circumstances under which her first hit on the Billboard country charts was written. Acoustic guitar in hand, she shared how “Whose Bed Have Your Boots Been Under?” was penned in a quiet cabin with no running water. She then performed a short acoustic take on it, before bringing out the full band (and an alien chasing a horse on the video screen – don’t ask) for the more familiar rocking version, since “it became a sh-t kicker” during the studio sessions.

Shania Twain Tickets Go On Sale Today Following Pre-Sale Sellout

Tickets go on sale today for what promises to be the summer’s biggest concert in this province.

Country-pop megastar Shania Twain is scheduled to perform on the nights of August 16-17 at the Churchill Park Music Festival in St. John’s.

Demand for tickets has been overwhelming, with special pre-sales already sold out.

General admission tickets will go on sale online as of 12 noon today, with the waiting room queue opening at 11:30 a.m.

Acts confirmed so far include Alan Doyle, Lindsay Ell and TALK, with others to be announced in the coming weeks.

This is the third year for the festival, which featured Alanis Morissette last year, and Matchbox Twenty in 2022.

Kickstarting the record, “Giddy Up!” rides out of the gate with a fiery, flirty, and fun chorus tailormade for singing and dancing along. As always, it showcases her show-stopping range and undeniable charisma.

Shania says, “The saying “Let’s Go Girls!” is such a wonderfully uplifting sentiment now, but it’s just something I said during the recording in the studio and I guess that’s the same for “Giddy Up!”. These lines come to me when I’m thinking about how to put a little “pep in my step.” I want people to feel good when they hear the new album. I want to set a celebratory tone and “Giddy up!” is a way to call to the audience and say “let’s get ready for some fun!”

Queen of Me consists of 12 new tracks. From the energetic opener “Giddy Up!” through the empowered title track “Queen of Me” and passionate finale “The Hardest Stone,” produced by and featuring Tyler Joseph (Twenty One Pilots), the LP represents a deep and dynamic creative statement from this iconic voice. She set the stage for everything with the single “Waking Up Dreaming” which Rolling Stone called “a shot of caffeinated bliss” and The Today Show called “an absolute bop.”

To celebrate this next era in style, Shania will also embark on the global ‘Queen of Me’ Tour , produced by Live Nation. The tour marks the first time fans around the world will get to see the queen in all of her glory in nearly five years, following a highly successful Vegas residency run. Kelsea Ballerini, Lindsay Ell, Hailey Whitters, Breland, Robyn Ottolini, Priscilla Block, and Mickey Guyton , Lily Rose, Talk, and Tinelle Townes will be joining Shania on select dates throughout the tour.

The ‘Queen of Me’ Tour kicks off on Friday, April 28 at Spokane Arena in Spokane, WA and makes stops across North America and Europe in Vancouver, Denver, Toronto, Los Angeles, New York, London, Dublin and more before wrapping up on November 14 at Rogers Arena in Vancouver, BC.

Shania Twain says 'touring family' is safe after crew members injured in highway accident

Shania Twain shared an update on the status of her injured production crew members who were involved in a highway accident in Canada on Wednesday that resulted in more than a dozen people being hospitalized.

Hours before she was scheduled to take to the stage at the SaskTel Centre in Saskatoon on Thursday, Twain took to Instagram to share a message with her fans.

"Thank you so much for the (outpour) of love and support from everyone," she wrote in her Instagram Story. "First and foremost my touring family are safe. Anyone needing medical care is receiving great support. The local community and every single crew person has been phenomenal in the face of a very scary scenario.

She ended her statement with: "Hug and hold those you love, we are doing the same!"

Bus carrying Shania Twain's crew members rolled over amid 'dangerous driving conditions'

A manager for Twain said in a statement to USA TODAY on Wednesday that "one crew bus and one truck from the Shania Twain - Queen Of Me tour were involved in a highway accident" while traveling between Winnipeg, Manitoba, and Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, and "multiple vehicles encountered dangerous driving conditions due to inclement weather."

"Members of the production crew who require medical attention have been taken to nearby hospitals," according to the statement. "We are incredibly thankful to the emergency services teams for their quick response and ongoing support. We ask for patience as we look after our touring family."

The Saskatchewan Royal Canadian Mounted Police issued a statement Wednesday morning that the Indian Head RCMP received a report at around 7 a.m. of a rolled coach bus on Highway #1, east of Wolseley, Saskatchewan. The agency also shared that, due to poor road conditions, the highway was closed from Wolseley east to the Manitoba border.

In the afternoon, the RCMP shared an update that 13 people "were treated in hospital for injuries described as non-life-threatening," adding that the Indian Head RCMP is investigating.

The country pop star, who is from Ontario, Canada, is currently at the tail end of her Queen Of Me tour promoting her first album in six years of the same name, which was released in April.

She performed at Winnipeg's Canada Life Centre Tuesday night and is scheduled to perform in Saskatoon on Thursday, according to her website . The final three stops this year are Calgary on Nov. 11, Edmonton on Nov. 12 and Vancouver on Nov. 14.

Twain will embark on her third Las Vegas residency next year at the Bakkt Theater at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino. Beginning May 10. She will put on 24 performances through December 2024.

"The audience can expect all the hits with a few fan favorites from the new album in there," Twain said in a statement.

Twain's first two scheduled shows have already sold out, social sharing.

Canadian country-pop star Shania Twain has added a third show in St. John's at the Churchill Park Music Festival, according to her social media pages.

Twain is the headliner of this year's edition of the festival, and now has shows scheduled from Aug.16-18.

Tickets for the third show will go on sale at noon NT on Saturday, according to Twain's social media.

General admission tickets for her first two shows went on sale at noon NT on Thursday. The festival posted on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter, that tickets were sold out two hours later.

Festival organizer Pete Quinton told CBC News in March that Twain will come to St. John's in between two legs of a Las Vegas residency, meaning the festival will likely be her only shows in Canada this summer — and possibly this year.

Other artists performing at this year's festival include Alan Doyle, Lindsay Ell and Talk.

The 57-year-old country music star adheres to a mainly liquid diet that includes protein shakes filled with greens.

Twain is set to begin her upcoming tour on April 28 in Spokane, Wash. The "Now" tour will conclude in Las Vegas on Aug. 4.

The "Man! I Feel Like a Woman" singer does stay away from one food when performing.

"Never cheese on a show day because dairy creates phlegm," she said.

Twain previously explained to Fox News Digital that she is planning on "aging naturally."

"As we get older especially, we do tend to get more shy or more critical of our bodies. Our skin starts sag, it’s just part of growing old," Twain said, adding, "I plan on aging naturally." 

She continued, "… That also means being comfortable in your skin and instead of hiding it, embracing it and enjoying it."

The country music star posed nude for her single "Waking Up Dreaming." The new single is on Twain's sixth studio album, "Queen of Me ." 

"I do this naked photo shoot, and it changed everything for me," she told "Extra."

"I want to be able to stand but go, ‘Yes, I am a woman that is comfortable in her own skin.' It’s not like I’m trying to show my nakedness to the world, I’m trying to show that confidence in your own nakedness is necessary," Twain added.

The musician revealed that she struggled with her body when she was younger.

"I’ve been very shy about my body from a very young age … to the point where I would not go to the beach in a bathing suit," Twain told the outlet." I would say probably really tortured by it from the age of 10."

From Hootie & The Blowfish to Shania Twain, several bands and independent artists from the 70s, 80s, and 90s are going to hit the roads in 2024 with a number of tours, marking their comeback after years. Here’s a roundup:

1. Hootie & The Blowfish

Rocker Darius Rucker , formerly of Hootie & the Blowfish, transitioned into a sensation in 2008. Their 1994 debut album, Cracked Rear View, remains one of the top 10 best-selling albums in U.S. history, nearly 30 years post-release. Recently, they announced the Summer Camp With Trucks Tour for 2024, their first tour since 2019, featuring 90s stars Collective Soul and musician Edwin McCain across 43 North American dates.

2. Fairground Attraction

Fairground Attraction’s all four members are embarking on their first tour in over three decades. Alongside a new album and single, they’ll undertake a 14-date tour from September to October 2024. Their debut single, Perfect, soared to the top of the charts in 1988, achieving silver certification in the UK by selling over 250,000 copies.

3. Green Day

In 2024, Green Day is launching The Saviors Tour, celebrating three albums: their latest, Saviors, along with American Idiot (2004) and Dookie (1994). The tour will feature the Smashing Pumpkins, the Linda Lindas, and Rancid as support for the North American leg, promising a ‘90s vibe.

4. Shed Seven

Shed Seven, a prominent Britpop band of the ‘90s, is commemorating the 30th anniversary of their debut album, Change Giver, with a tour. The 23-date tour begins in November and concludes on December 14 in London, marking their significant contribution to British rock.

5. Blink-182

Blink-182 thrilled fans in 2022 by reuniting with guitarist Tom DeLonge after a seven-year hiatus and announcing a 2023 world tour. Their classic lineup’s return in 2023, alongside the release of One More Time, marked a pivotal moment for the band, who will embark on another world tour in 2024.

6. Shania Twain

Shania Twain is preparing for her Come On Over residency at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino’s Bakkt Theater in Las Vegas for the latter half of 2024. Glastonbury 2024 has seen the “highest percentage of ticket balances paid ever”, meaning there will be “very limited” tickets available in the re-sale.

Emily Eavis announced today (April 8) that the amount of tickets that have been paid for in full is the highest the festival has ever seen.

However, it does mean that those who are hopeful to secure much coveted tickets in the re-sale might struggle. “There will be a resale of the (very limited) returned tickets later this month,” added Eavis in an Instagram post. “Info to follow on that.”

The organiser said that the record number of paid balances was “incredible”, adding: “Thanks so much everyone.”

Tickets in the annual re-sale are made available when the original purchasers haven’t paid their balance in full by the cut-off date.

This year’s festival is due to take place from Wednesday June 26 through to Sunday June 30, 2024 at Worthy Farm in Pilton, Somerset.

The 2024 line-up has also now been shared – with Dua Lipa ,  Coldplay  and  SZA set to headline the iconic Pyramid Stage this summer, while Shania Twain will perform in the legends slot on the Sunday. You can check out the rest of the bill here .

While the exact re-sale date has not yet been announced, hopeful attendees can expect there to be another hectic rush after the Glasto 2023 re-sale sold out in just six minutes .

In November, coach and ticket packages for this year sold out in 25 minutes  before the  general ticket sale sold out in just under an hour .
