Jhené Aiko Announces Magic Hour Tour With ‘Co-Stars’ Coi Leray, Umi, and More

Jhené Aiko is teasing a tour that should be nothing less than magical.

On Tuesday, the R&B songstress announced that she’ll be heading on an extensive arena tour this summer — and she’s bringing some exciting female artists on the road with her.

Two months after performing at Coachella, Aiko will head to Detroit to start her Magic Hour Tour, before stopping in cities such as Detroit, Orlando, San Francisco, and Portland. She’ll bring Coi Leray , Tink , Umi, and Kiana Ledé as “co-stars” on the road.

“We going on tour with the 🐐,” wrote Leray on Instagram reacting to the news.

“If you know me…you know what this means to me,” wrote Ledé on Instagram. “Thank you Jhené😭” “I am so excited!” added Umi.

“let’s try this again…” Aiko wrote on Instagram with a teaser for the album.

Tickets for the Magic Hour Tour go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. local time, while presale tickets available on Wednesday at 10 a.m. local time.

Multi-platinum-selling singer-songwriter Jhené Aiko released her anticipated new album, Chilombo , today via Def Jam Recordings.

The third album from the Grammy-nominated artist has already been building a buzz for its three singles, which have cumulatively garnered over 500 million streams, including the platinum-certified ‘Triggered’, ‘None Of Your Concern’, featuring Big Sean and ‘Pu$$y Fairy (OTW)’.

Aiko has also announced an extensive North American tour in support of Chilombo . “The Magic Hour” tour, featuring special guest Queen Naija, kicks off 1 May in Boston. Tickets for the 33-date tour are on sale now.

For her third studio album, Aiko travelled to The Big Island of Hawaii – the birthplace of her great great-grandmother. Aiko was inspired by the natural – and formidable – natural beauty of the island. In an interview with Billboard late last month, the artist said, “In a sense, I am like a volcano, and this album is an eruption. It starts with ‘Triggered’, and there’s a lava flow with all these songs where it’s a free-flowing jam session. And then it settled – and it became this beautiful land where there’s new life.”

Every song on the 20-track album initially began as a freestyle jam by Aiko. Then, the music for each track would be developed by the artist, along with her producers – including Lejkeys, as well as her longtime collaborators, the prolific duo Fisticuffs. Aiko also worked with an impressive line-up of guest artists on Chilombo , including John Legend on track ‘Lighting & Thunder’, Ty Dolla $Ign on ‘Party for Me (West Coast Version)’, Nas on ‘10k Hours’ as well as Miguel and Future on ‘Happiness Over Everything (H.O.E.)’.

Having found a newfound sense of her own personal power and confidence, the artist decided to take a cue from her full name – Jhené Aiko Efuru Chilombo – when it came to titling the album. She explained to Billboard that, “Chilombo is a word that means “wild beast” – they’re strong, confident and graceful…Beasts are also beautiful”.

Jhené Aiko Announces Tour, Drops New Song With Future and Miguel: Listen

Jhené Aiko has announced an extensive tour kicking off May 1 in Boston. The Magic Hour tour will hit Los Angeles, Atlanta, Miami, Chicago, and more before wrapping up at St. Kitts music festival on June 27. Check out Aiko’s full itinerary below and get tickets here . In addition to the tour, Aiko has detailed her next album CHILOMBO , which arrives March 6 via Def Jam . CHILOMBO features contributions from Swae Lee, Nas, Big Sean, Miguel, Kurupt, and more. The new LP features Aiko’s recent singles “ None of Your Concern ” (with Big Sean), “ Pu$$y Fairy (OTW) ,” and “ Triggered (freestyle) .”

CHILOMBO is taken from Aiko’s full name, Jhené Aiko Efuru Chilombo (according to a press release, the surname means “wild beast”). The record was compiled from Aiko’s freestyles, paired with jam sessions that were recorded on the Big Island of Hawaii, where the artist’s great grandmother was born.

From the very first days of its existence, the Moscow Metro was the object of civil defense, used as a bomb shelter, and designed as a defense for a possible attack on the Soviet Union.

At a depth of 50 to 120 meters lies the second, the coded system of Metro-2 of Moscow subway, which is equipped with everything you need, from food storage to the nuclear button.

According to some sources, the total length of Metro-2 reaches over 150 kilometers.
