The worst. No water for 2 days now. Office not open everyday as message says No emergency number to call for water Just SOL There is water at the pool But for some reason they haven't filled it for weeks The chairs are nasty They have Internet but only for a 2% of the campers.
The landscapers that cut the grass here are horrible they don't even do their jobs right . The water always gets shut off without a warning and then when you call the people at the office and tell them why can't they let people know the day before they have a issue and you will literally get hung up on. The area where you go to take the trash out is absolutely disgusting there's trash and stray cats everywhere .
If we had had any other place to go...... Located in an industrial park, in the middle of no where. No restaurants or anything else nearby. Located on a "pond" with floating trash. Loud booming noise each morning to wake us from neighboring dump/or industrial business?! Oh and let me not forget the strip club about a block away. Spot was fine with hookups but had rotting picnic table with no bench seat and trash that I picked up. Long term neighbors from Canada were great & had created a nice place for a winter stay. Why?? Who knows??? Most amenities were closed. Showers were nice enough but moldy. I was told we had to pay for one week a non refundable fee of $300 even tho we only wanted 2-3 nights. Guess that's what they need to do to actually make it work! Rip-off! We left ASAP only to get a call 5 days later asking if we wanted to extend our stay. I thought I had it all worked out only to get another call from Layton asking the same question. When I informed him that I was gone and had been gone for several days, he said, "well no one told us!" Really, it's your park, do I not know who's coming and going? Staying or gone? Avoid this place!!
I would give a O review but wouldn't let me do here goes; this is the WORST place to stay; I work for pipeline so traveling with 4 other guys that paid for campground here $1600 for one month and trust me it's NOT worth it; we got there on a Sunday so office is closing and the street that we parked our campers the power kept shutting on and off and a sweet lady Norma that came out to assist not only myself but the whole block u might say; she spent hours calling the maintenance here to come help with the issue: my wife later told management here that they should compensate Mrs Norma because without her consistent help through the day we wouldn't of had any power; my wife has already wrote a review but I wanted to add my opinion which is STAY AWAY from this place; management is horrible they will put u in spots that has been reserved for someone else which is another thing that happened with one of our workers they called 2 weeks ahead and PAID to reserve a spot next to us and first of all they asked for a 50 amp which turned out to be a 30 amp so couldn't park there t; the kind lady Norma stayed here for many years with issues on and off with problems that's been addressed by manager Jackie but nothing ever got resolved so thank goodness she's not staying there any longer but I know they will miss Norma because she should be the owner of this campground she had more knowledge about everything in this park and even other people would come to her for advice because she was so friendly & helpful
I have so many things to complain about at this campground 1) when we got here on a Sunday with 3 other workers in their campers to stay here for month with our jobs the very first thing that happened was our power went out, apparently because the 3 of us were all on the same area and neighbors said when that happens it causes a breaker problem so needless to say we couldn't find staff cause on Sunday the office is closed and the manager in office named Jackie is no help very rude I finally got maintenance worker to come hours later by this time we were all trying to find another campground and only reason we didn't leave is because there was no other campground that had spots for us 2) the monthly rate here is ridiculous $1600 u would think it's a luxurious resort for this price NO it's not!!! 3) water shut off few times and when I called office very rude Jackie said yes water is off and not sure for how long 4) the only person that helped us was our neighbor that is now no longer there due to issues she's had in this park herself 5) they say they have WiFi but NO they don't u have to go sit behind office where the laundromat is to get it if u are lucky my list could go on and on oh one more thing to use the laundry u have to pay $5.00 for a card just to use laundry u still have to load money on it and u don't get that money back just silly to charge for a card to wash your clothes; do yourself a favor and don't give these RUDE unfriendly campground ANY of your time and money cause they will reserve u a spot, charge u, and you WILL experience problems here I guarantee it we stayed Larry & Penny Thompson park in Miami and it was awesome; staff was super friendly, the facilities are CLEAN, beautiful nature walking trails, I can go on and on about their beautiful campground just go there u will be much happier; if I could report twin Lakes Rv to the owners I would so if u are reading my review then u should know just how RUDE your manager is
Checked into this place for a month long stay at $1500.00 for the month. Initial impression was "okay, it will do." The check in process was similar to clearing TSA. Two forms of ID, tag number for my vehicle, tag number for my RV, two emergency contacts and a $25.00 deposit on a gate card. Then I was given a map with directions drawn with a sharpie marker. Navigating down the narrow roadway to the spot was challenging with all the cars and trucks parked on both sides. Spots are not easily marked amongst the semi-permanent RVs and Class A motorhomes. A gentleman on a golf cart asked for my spot number and he said to follow him to my spot. I pulled in, unhitched, plugged in utilities and was set. Three days later the manger (rude, obnoxious) called and insisted I move at once to an adjacent spot as I was in the wrong spot. Told her I followed directions on a map to the spot marked on the map. She said the girl who checked me in was new, but nevertheless I needed to move. The adjacent spot was at the end of the road and could hardly contain my 20' rig. The place is overrun with Québécois and snowbirds. I did not even feel like the United States! The old geezers ride around aimlessly on their adult tricycles taking up most of the road. They are chain smokers and the air is full of cigarette odor. They lack the understanding of basic campground courtesy by walking through my spot, tossed lit cigarettes on my pad and kept their outdoor TVs on high volume. The location is underneath the approach path to Ft. Lauderdale airport so starting at 445am until late hours you hear aircraft taking off and landing. Furthermore it is adjacent to a 24hr interstate truck stop and about 1.5 miles from a landfill. If you like obnoxious Québécois snowbirds, the smell of cigarette smoke mixed with landfill odor, tractor trailers, airplane noise and speedbumps, this place is for you! Just for grins, I asked how much to stay another month. (March) Was quoted $500.00 a week for a total of $2500.00 as March has 5 weeks according to the desk clerk. A co-worker called and asked for a quote for the same period speaking French: $1200.00 No thanks! American citizens are not welcome. #Québécois
Great park to stay! Close to the airport and access to all the highways! He price was very good and compatible as well with my budget! I would come again for sure!

Joint venture pays $64M for Davie RV park primed for industrial project
Industrial Outdoor Ventures and Stockbridge Real Estate bought 39-acre site
A Chicago-based industrial real estate firm teamed up with Stockbridge Real Estate to acquire the Twin Lakes Travel Park in Davie for $64 million.
The joint venture, led by Industrial Outdoor Ventures, acquired the 38.5-acre site at 3055 Burris Road. The sellers are three entities tied to Twin Lakes Travel Park LLC, which is managed by Sherrie Cohen Marbin, Jay Cohen and Sam Jazayri, according to records. The RV park was completed in 1975.
In an email, Marbin said she and her partners owned Twin Lakes for 40 years. They put it on the market earlier this year with an asking price of $40 million. They “had several bidders,” including “ Amazon and FedEx,” which were “outbid” by Industrial Outdoor Ventures and Stockbridge, Marbin said.
CBRE marketed the property for the sellers. According to a CBRE marketing flyer, the RV park can be redeveloped for a single or multi-tenant industrial site ranging from 50,000 square feet to 400,000 square feet. The site, between I-95 and the Florida Turnpike just south of I-595, is currently designed to accommodate an e-commerce last-mile facility and an outdoor truck terminal.

The RV park is near warehouses occupied by Pepsi, Clorox, Shipmonk, XPO, Publix, Old Dominion and major e-commerce companies, according to CBRE.
In March, Industrial Outdoor Ventures and Stockbridge formed a joint venture to develop warehouses and outdoor storage centers. The Chicago-based firm, led by CEO Thomas G. Barbera, specializes in properties for heavy industrial uses and outdoor equipment storage in major markets throughout the U.S., according to its website. Industrial Outdoor Ventures has 39 properties in 12 markets, totaling 1 million square feet.
Stockbridge, based in San Francisco, has about $18.4 billion of assets under management and is led by founding principal Terry Fancher, according to the company’s website.
South Florida’s industrial market is among the most competitive in the country. Institutional investors are vying for prime sites, which is driving up sale prices, according to Colliers . In the third quarter in Broward County, industrial vacancy rates dropped for the second consecutive quarter, as average asking rents went up.
