Countryside And Windmills Tour

Really enjoyed this tour! Left on schedule and got to explore volendam, Edam, Marken and windmills. Really enjoyed seeing the countryside of Amsterdam! Planning on visiting volendam at the end of this year to explore further! Our tour guide was very friendly and helping throughout the whole tour! Highly recommend!

Windmill Tour

Tour said 12:50 to meet up,they left around 12:30 and left me and my partner at the Merkel town and nearly left without us, there was also another group of 4 that got left behind with us, lucky we just found it.

Appreciate The Windmills And Country Side Tour

It’s a good thing I did not read these reviews before booking. I would have missed out on a great experience. I’d like to mention that they stressed on punctuality of departure so that individuals would not keep the group back, The tour was informative and on time. The guides Astrid and Adrian were well mannered and were always willing to chat about the venues we visited. Astrid often looked out for me and was very informed, answering all my questions like the true pro she was. Adrian also knew a bit of Trinidad and Tobago which was quite pleasing to me. The Netherlands is an amazing place with an inventive past and the Windmills and countryside tour for me was well worth the trip. Thanks again Astrid and Adrian.

This tour stranded me and my fiancé an hour from the city, and stole my backpack containing my camera and passport. This is a busy tour, they generally have about 75 to 100 people on a double decker bus. We visited the windmills and fishing village. Although the huge number of people creates a lack of personalization, the areas themselves are nice. Our last site was Marken, which involved a ferry to an island. It was raining heavily with thunder and lightning. There was a lot of confusion regarding what we would do: stay on the ferry, go to a restaurant, or go to the scheduled clog factory. A part of the group headed off in the rain to the clog factory. Because of the storm, my fiancé stayed in a restaurant were we had been dropped off. I went to get her but then found out that the tour left without us. We called the company immediately and were told to “go to a restaurant to get WiFi and figure it out, but the tour company is not responsible for missing the bus.” My backpack, camera, and passport were on the bus that left without us. I called the company to alert them about my backpack and they said, – “no problem, when the bus arrives we will have it”. We figured out how to call a taxi back to Amsterdam and went straight to the tours and tickets office, but now they told us that they would not return it. The staff were laughing happily about the lost luggage and that we needed to taxi home. Since my passport was with my things I had to file a police report and contact the US embassy about getting it back. Once the police were involved the tour group eventually gave back our things. I would avoid a company that will leave you behind, make sure they do nothing to help, and then steal your belongings if you don’t bring the police in with you.

Bought tickets online and received them quickly through e-mail. Was cheaper than door price!

I had booked a tour with my mother, who has difficulty walking. The staff was really helpful and caring!

Slow Service

We were in Amsterdam last August. When we wanted to book a tour, they kept us waiting for at least half an hour in one of their offices. In the end, we were helped well, but they could have hired more staff.

The countryside tour is really worthwhile! The enthusiastic tour guide made it a wonderful experience. Would highly recommend Tours & Tickets, will be visiting them again next time in Amsterdam.

Tonight is Taylor Swift’s final of three concerts in Gelsenkirchen, Germany.

Next week, the pop star will take her “Eras Tour” to Hamburg where she will perform two concerts at Volksparkstadion on Tuesday, July 23, and Wednesday, July 24.

The cheapest tickets today are on the secondary market site, Stubhub. Ticket prices for the July 23 concert start at $164. Tickets for the July 24 concert are even cheaper, starting at $124.

The Eagles make it a long run at the Sphere with shows in January: How to get tickets

The Eagles are definitely making it a long run in Las Vegas.

The band, which previously announced a spate of dates at the Sphere from September through December, has now added shows Jan. 17-18 and Jan. 24-25.

The Long Goodbye tour, which began in September at Madison Square Garden in New York, will now cover 20 dates over 10 weekends at the Sphere with the new additions. The already announced upcoming dates are Sept. 20-21; Sept. 27-28; Oct. 11-12; Oct. 18-19; Nov. 1-2; Nov. 8-9; Dec. 6-7 and Dec. 13-14.

“The Man Who Wasn’t There” might be coming to a city near you.

Actor Billy Bob Thornton and his band The Boxmasters are embarking on a 28-concert tour this fall that will take them to theatres, saloons, wineries, casinos, music halls, clubs and universities all over North America from September through November.

That includes gigs at Pawling, NY’s Daryl’s House Club on Wednesday, Oct. 9 and West Long Branch’s Pollak Theatre on Friday, Oct. 11.

For those not familiar with the band, they’re most influenced by ’60s classic rock giants like — but not limited to — The Beatles, The Byrds, The Beach Boys, The Mothers of Invention and The Allman Brothers according to their website .

Adding to their bona fides, Thornton and The Boxmasters have opened for ZZ Top , Steve Miller and Los Lobos since they formed in 2007.

And, if you want to see the Oscar-winning “Bad Santa” and “Fargo” actor wail live, you can buy tickets for all of their concerts as soon as today.
