A statement posted on the venue's website Wednesday morning confirmed that the performances scheduled for August 16 at Simmons Bank Arena in North Little Rock, Arkansas, by Snoop Dogg, Wiz Khalifa, and the Ying Yang Twins had been canceled . Also, Ticketmaster noted on its website that shows scheduled for Friday at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, next Tuesday at the Smoothing King Center in New Orleans, and next Thursday at Brookshire Grocery Arena in Bossier City, Louisiana, have all been canceled . "All tickets purchased at the box office or through Ticketmaster will be automatically refunded. Please allow up to 30 days for the refund to process," Simmons Bank Arena said.

Simmons Bank Arena has not yet announced why the show was canceled. Even as recently as last Thursday, it was still being advertised on social media that a special $30 ticket sale would be held. Iron Maiden drummer, Nicko McBrain has revealed that he was left temporarily paralysed on the right side of his body after suffering a stroke in January 2023 .  The news comes after Nicko, 71 , released a statement and video via Iron Maiden’s social media accounts —as well as that of his drum shop, Nicko McBrain’s Drum One — explaining that while he is continuing to undergo treatment, the ordeal left him worried that his drumming career was over for good . “Hello Boys and Girls, I hope this message finds you all well!” Nicko begins. “The reason I'm writing to you all today is to let you know of a very serious health problem that I have been through. In January I had a stroke , thank the Lord it was a minor one referred to as a TIA.  It left me paralyzed on my right side from my shoulder on down , of course I was very worried that my career was over but with the love and support from my wife, Rebecca and family, my doctors, especially Julie my OT (Occupational Therapist), and my Maiden family I was able to bounce back to somewhere near 70% recovered."

Mick Jagger ‘Frail’ While Leaving 80th Birthday Party, Fans Concerned About His Health

The Rolling Stones vocalist Mick Jagger looked frail when he ended his 80 th  birthday celebration.

The rocker marked a special day in his life Wednesday during his birthday bash at his West London home before continuing the celebration through an afterparty at nightclub Embargo Republica. Photos from the event, as shared by People, captured the star-studded event as the stars joined the rocker in his celebration.

Some photos of Jagger, however, sparked concerns as the now-80-year-old singer "looked a bit frail."

In the photos from Mega (via Ok! Magazine) the vocalist can be seen donning his forest green suit and printed shirt as he went out of the London nightclub after calling it a night. His security team led him as they held him in his arm to assist the singer, who looked a little thinner as he grew older [sic].

Though some fans were concerned about it, others reminded the public that Jagger remains as health as ever despite his age.

Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger has mocked anti-vaxxers, flat earthers and other conspiracy theorists in the lyrics to a new song he has released with Dave Grohl of Foo Fighters.

In the song ‘Easy Sleazy’ which the two iconic rockers released on Tuesday, Jagger sings:

“Shooting the vaccine/ Bill Gates is in my bloodstream / It’s mind control/ The Earth is flat and cold/ It’s never warming up/ The Arctic’s turned to slush/ The second coming’s late/ There are aliens in the deep state.”

Snoop Dogg has announced the cancellation of his upcoming performances at the Hollywood Bowl , citing “uncertainty” amidst the ongoing WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes. The concerts were set to commemorate the 30th anniversary of his 1993 debut studio album “Doggystyle,” produced by Dr. Dre.

While the performances by Snoop Dogg & Friends were originally postponed from June to Oct. 20 and 21 due to the writers strike, they have now been officially canceled, with the rapper affirming his solidarity with striking workers.

He went on, “We continue to stand in solidarity with all of our brothers and sisters in the WGA and SAG-AFTRA during this difficult time and remain hopeful that the AMPTP will come back to the negotiating table with a REAL proposal and we can all get back to work.”

While the Hollywood strikes do not prohibit music artists from performing, Snoop Dogg has been vocal for months about his solidarity with the actors and writers fighting for better contracts with the studios.

Speaking on a panel in May with Gamma’s Larry Jackson, Snoop Dogg criticized the system that leaves artists receiving unfair pay when their work is immensely popular on streaming services. “The writers are striking because [of] streaming, they can’t get paid. Because when it’s on the platform, it’s not like in the box office,” Snoop said.

He continued to express his frustration during the panel. “I don’t understand how the fuck you get paid off of that shit. Somebody explain to me how you can get a billion streams and not get a million dollars?… That’s the main gripe with a lot of us artists is that we do major numbers… but it don’t add up to the money. Like, where the fuck is the money?”

JACKSON, TN – The Jackson Generals in conjunction with Blue Cap Entertainment announced on Monday the postponement of the Snoop Dogg and Twista concert at The Ballpark at Jackson, in the wake of the novel coronavirus concerns. The event, scheduled for July 20th, still plans to come to town in July of 2021 on an undetermined date.

“We fully understand the excitement that the show has created and we apologize for the postponement,” said Generals GM Marcus Sabata. “We look forward to bringing them both back next year when, hopefully, COVID-19 is a thing of the past and we can all enjoy the show with no restrictions. We hope to announce a date in the near future."

Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre team to host Super Bowl afterparty in Las Vegas, Usher expected as guest of honor

Posted: January 29, 2024 | Last updated: January 30, 2024

Just call it the Snooper Bowl!

Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre will team to host a Super Bowl afterparty on Feb. 11 in Las Vegas that will commemorate the 30th anniversary of the Snoop’s Dre-produced hit, “Gin and Juice,” Page Six has exclusively learned.

Diplo is set to DJ the party, we hear, at Wynn Las Vegas’ Encore Beach Club. Insiders are describing it as the night’s “biggest” bash.

The game’s halftime performer, Usher , is expected to be a guest of honor at the festivities.

The event will also serve as an album release celebration for Usher’s latest studio project, “Coming Home,” which drops Feb. 9, we hear.

Organizers are keeping details, and the guest list, under wraps. But we hear Flipper’s Roller Boogie Palace co-founders Liberty Ross and Kevin Wall are producing the event, and singer-songwriter Hardy will also perform.

Organizers are also teasing, “a special surprise that you won’t want to miss.”

Chef Sarah Thompson of Casa Playa will provide Mexican fare, and a raft of sponsors have signed on –including Bud Light, Ketel One Vodka and Don Julio Tequila.

Usher is no stranger to rolling skating parties by Flipper’s.

He hosted the Flipper’s Rolling Boogie Palace’s Rockefeller Center opening in NYC back in 2022, which brought out stars such as like Mary J. Blige, Dr. Dre, Jermaine Dupri, Michael Strahan, Floyd Mayweather and Meek Mill.

The R&B crooner was the leader of several impressive dance moments throughout the night… Perhaps, guests will get a second halftime show at this afterparty?

Page Six has reported that Taylor Swift could be among celebs to make it to the big game — if she jets in from her tour in Japan to see her beau, Travis Kelce, and the Kansas City Chiefs go up against the San Francisco 49ers.

Dre, Snoop, Eminem, Mary J. Blige, 50 Cent and Kendrick Lamar played the Super Bowl in 2022.
