The ShowerBuddy SB1 shower transfer system will turn your existing bathroom into an accessible bathroom that allows you to enjoy showering again without the excessive cost, delay and stress of a full bathroom remodel.

   The ShowerBuddy SB1 alleviates heavy lifting and multiple transfers for toileting and showering.    This chair is separated into three sections; rolling base (shower chair), bridge and shower base.    The rolling base rolls around the house like a wheelchair allowing patient to easily transfer and then roll right over a toilet (certain toilets).    Once completed with toileting the rolling base can connect to the bridge and then onto the shower base allowing the chair to slide into the shower.     Once inside the shower, the bridge disconnects and the shower base turns allowing the user to face the shower controls.

FAA Approved

Faa portable oxygen concentrator guidelines.

This final rule replaces the existing process by which the Federal Aviation Administration (Agency or FAA) approves portable oxygen concentrators (POC) for use on board aircraft in air carrier operations, commercial operations, and certain other operations using large aircraft. The FAA currently assesses each POC make and model on a case-by-case basis and if the FAA determines that a particular POC is safe for use on board an aircraft, the FAA conducts rulemaking to identify the specific POC model in an FAA regulation. This final rule replaces the current process and allows passengers to use a POC on board an aircraft if the POC satisfies certain acceptance criteria and bears a label indicating conformance with the acceptance criteria. The labeling requirement only affects POCs intended for use on board aircraft that were not previously approved for use on aircraft by the FAA. Additionally, this rulemaking will eliminate redundant operational requirements and paperwork requirements related to the physician's statement. As a result, this rulemaking will reduce burdens for POC manufacturers, passengers who use POCs while traveling, and affected aircraft operators. This final rule also makes conforming amendments to the Department of Transportation's (Department or DOT) rule implementing the Air Carrier Access Act (ACAA) to require carriers to accept all POC models that meet FAA acceptance criteria as detailed in this rule.

Return Process

To return a product, the above conditions must be met. We require that all returns follow these instructions for proper processing:

• Warehouse must receive item within 15 days of an RA# being issued

• The buyer is responsible for return postage costs

Teak or bamboo? Seriously, how many times have you ventured down that worn, unsightly path? This will be the last stool you'll ever need. The robust, sleek material repels water and soap effortlessly. It exudes beauty, style, and elegance. Simply outstanding.

This stool may be expensive (our insurance paid for it), but it's beautiful. We bought it for its minimalist, graceful design. It's heavy, too, so it will certainly never tip over.

Oh, my goodness. I don't know if I've ever seen a shower chair quite so beautiful. This chair upgrades our normal bathroom, and when we switch it over and have a nice tile bathroom, it will make that look even better, too!

We have purchased two of these, one for our home, and one as a gift for family. We were looking for a shower stool that was sturdy and functional without looking like something from a hospital. This stool is beautiful and is very well made of cast resin and comes in a variety of colors. It is stable and heavy enough not to tip, but still easy to move for cleaning or to move it in or out of the shower. There are rubber tabs on the legs which make it both stable and protect the shower floor. The contractor who did or bath conversion was extremely impressed with the stool and commented it is a way better option than one he would have built into the wall. This stool is easily removed to facilitate cleaning. It looks good enough to double as a vanity seat outside the shower. Our 30 something daughter recently had an injury requiring a shower seat, and she loves this as it doesn't make her feel like an old lady in a nursing home. The customer service department at Solution Based was very helpful with a shipping issue. The phone was answered promptly by an associate working on sight in the U.S. The agent was understandable, and knowledgable about the product and the order. I had made a mistake in the delivery address and they were able to quickly correct my mistake. You will not be disappointed with this product.

beautiful design, really striking, extremely sturdy

I just received this shower chair today. It's replacing a teak chair that had rotted. The seat is not as big as my teak chair (it is more narrow) but I actually think it fits nicer in my shower. It's cold to sit on. For some reason, I thought it would be plastic resin but it feels like a really heavy composite or even concrete. I like the plastic disks on the legs to prevent scratches and it comes with a couple extra (you wouldn't want to drag this thing across your tile). I'm giving it 5 stars for its clean, modern look and heavy weight. I got the concrete grey color.

This little bench is stable, sturdy, and looks great. It is actually quite heavy. I was concerned that it might tip if you propped your leg on it, but it is far too heavy to do that. The size is perfect for my space. I thought it was pricy, but now that I have it, I have no objections.

I was remodeling my bathroom and needed a shower bench. Took me quite a while to find the bench, but this ended up being the one. It seemed to be a little high on the cost end, but it is a perfect fit. It is very sturdy, and I like the fact that it can be removed and used elsewhere if necessary as compared to a fixed bench which would also be bulkier.

This bench is absolutely gorgeous. Very heavy and well made. Just adds a special touch to our newly tiled shower.

I purchased this chair while my husband was still hospitalized for a very unexpected but extensive back surgery. The severity left him unable to stand and I needed a chair that was not only comfortable for him but easy for me to maneuver.

Being a nurse, I knew what I was looking for and the only chair that came close was this one.

The only thing I would caution about is to be certain that the brakes are engaged and the front casters are locked when the occupant is getting in/out of this chair. That probably goes without saying but with only the brakes engaged (like wheelchair brakes) there is slight movement because of the casters. I tested this out before he came home so I would be familiar with the product.

We did take down one side of our glass shower door (and put up a curtain) to make it easier to get in /out of the shower. I need to back it in and that is a bit tricky since the casters are on the front - I have to pull a bit to the side to get it positioned properly but it isn't overly strenuous (I am 66 and have no problem doing this). This will likely be along term product in our house and I expect it to last for a long time. The quality is great.

We purchased the ShowerGlyde SG2 (Open Box version) and have been very pleased with it after 3 uses. pros: As others have commented, it is sturdy, stable, and slides (glydes ;-) smoothly & easily. Our toilet and tub (with shower wand) aren't together, so we're using it strictly as a tub entrance & exit device. We're using it for a 91yo mildly arthritic stroke victim and they've gotten quickly comfortable with it --having transitioned to the SG2 from a swivel & slide competitor model (we needed the extended length of the SG2, as we're using it with a sit & stand/"Sara Stedy" transport device; the SG2 sits almost exactly at the height our Toto commode seat does, at 17" height) The seat is a good size for our 164lb individual usage, and the cutout makes washing much easier than a solid seat (as our prior unit had); we've not used the insert, but it fits and would work fine if/when needed I like that the leg feet aren't hard plastic and have a hard rubber feel to them I also like that it has an optional (additional cost) swivel seat that can be ordered separately/in the future Order processing and shipment was prompt, and packaging secure for safe shipping reciept.

cons: none, really; it's pleasingly functional and has greatly enhanced bathing effectiveness/thoroughness with ease (and @ open box = indistinguishable-from-new price, shipping free, satisfied with the value)

neutrals: * I wish the seat had handles attached to it, along with the option for the one at one end; it is the only slightly discomforting (new user?) factor for us with the SG2 * update: according to SolutionBased rep in an asked Question: " The legs are white coated aluminum." original: I'm concerned about the metal the white painted legs are made of, as to future corrosion potential due to perpetual moisture exposure; hopefully they're either thinner aluminum as well, or stainless steel (?) * I'm concerned with the plastic T braces that attached the legs and handle to the rails; no way of knowing the durability of such these days, visually * I'm concerned with the nylon-type rollers used below the seat and on the rails, again as to longevity; while perhaps they provide slight cushioning and/or noise reduction, i'd rather have found machined aluminum rollers used (especially at this price point) * I would like to see the black plastic parts in blue (or grey); this is purely an aesthetic/cosmetic preference, nothing functional * it would be nice for the seat to have some padding (like *cough* one competitor's); tho not padded/cushioned, it serves our main purpose adequately

We're using it for a 91yo mildly arthritic stroke victim and they've gotten quickly comfortable with it --having transitioned to the SG2 from a swivel & slide competitor model (we needed the extended length of the SG2, as we're using it with a sit & stand/"Sara Stedy" transport device; the SG2 sits almost exactly at the height our Toto commode seat does, at 17" height, making it familiar to rise and sit from and to) The seat is a good size for our 164lb individual usage, and the cutout makes washing much easier than a solid seat (as our prior unit had); we've not used the seat insert, but it fits and would work fine if/when needed I like that the leg feet aren't hard plastic and have a hard rubber feel to them I also like that it has an optional (additional cost) swivel seat that can be ordered separately/in the future Order processing and shipment was prompt, and packaging secure for safe shipping receipt.

How It Works

Great shower chair

This shower chair is the best. Very comfortable for my son and easy to adjust for a relaxing shower.

Good product.

We didn’t want to remodel our home and wanted to be able to take it with us, in case we moved. It’s used for a quadriplegic family member and this makes transfer from bed to bath safely. It’s durable than the cheaper PVC ones. Highly recommend!

Unbelievable and extremely HELPFUL.

Incredible help, I learned how to video call them and together they helped me do what I felt was the impossible. Changed the strut cable for the tilt handle and all is working well.
