They don’t autofill until I click on the code, usually below the box although about ½ the time have to go to Messages and find, right-click to copy code.
I just checked this out and it seems like not all messages that come through to my mobile show up in Mac Messages. Maybe they are from Android phones? For instance, messages sent to me from my bank show up, but not these security codes – they only arrive on my phone. So not something I will be relying on.
make sure text message forwarding is set up on your phone and active for your devices, otherwise messages sent as sms will not show up
Same for me (some / many messages that show on iPhone do not appear on my Mac). I’ve wondered if the Mac only allows messages from someone in my contacts list(?). Even if the bank, for example, is in my contact list their security code text will likely come from a different number.

Apple releases iOS 17.3.1 update with text bug fix
Apple has released a new iPhone software update for all users. iOS 17.3.1 is now available ahead of iOS 17.4’s release in March. Other releases out today include watchOS 10.3.1 and macOS 14.3.1.
iOS 17.3.1 appears to be a pretty simple bug fix update to address a single text issue. The release notes read as follows:
This update provides bug fixes for your iPhone including:
- Text may unexpectedly duplicate or overlap while typing

Use Software Update to install updates and upgrades for macOS and its built-in apps, including Safari.
Before you begin
Before installing new software, it's a good idea to back up your Mac .
Make sure that your Mac is connected to the internet . You should be able to access websites or receive email, for example.
Use Software Update
Open Software Update:
From the Apple menu in the corner of your screen, choose System Settings. Click General in the sidebar of the window that opens, then click Software Update on the right.
If you don't have System Settings in the Apple menu , choose System Preferences instead. Then click Software Update in the window that opens.
Don't see Software Update?
Software Update then automatically begins checking for new software.
If new software is available for your Mac, click the button to Update or Upgrade. What's the difference?
If new software is not available for your Mac, Software Update says that your Mac is up to date. Software Update shows only software that is compatible with your Mac model. Which models are compatible?
Before installation begins, you will be asked to enter your administrator password. It's the password you use to log in to your Mac. Forgot your password?
During installation, your Mac might restart and show a progress bar or blank screen several times. If installation is not successful, learn what to do .

If you don't see Software Update
If your older Mac doesn't include Software Update, use the App Store instead. It's in your Applications folder. Click the Updates tab in the App Store to check for updates, or search for the software by name.

An update is a newer version of the currently installed macOS, such as an update from macOS Ventura 13.5 to macOS Ventura 13.6.
An upgrade is a major new version of macOS with new name, such as an upgrade from macOS Ventura to macOS Sonoma.

I am getting license validation errors with Copilot
Follow these steps if you're using Copilot and you receive an error that says:
We encountered a problem validating your Copilot license. For more information, see https://aka.ms/copilotlicensecheck
Ensure you're using the correct account
Make sure you're signed into your Microsoft 365 apps with an account that has a Copilot license.
For home users ...this means you should have a Microsoft 365 Personal or Family subscription, and Copilot Pro.
For business users ...this means you should have a Microsoft 365 Business Standard, Business Premium, E3, or E5 subscription, and Microsoft Copilot for Microsoft 365.
Make sure that the current file is saved in that account
If you have multiple file locations available to you - such as your business OneDrive and your personal OneDrive - Copilot will only appear if the file you have open is saved to the location associated to your Copilot subscription.
For example, if you have Copilot through your work account, but not through your personal account, and you open a file from your personal OneDrive, Copilot won't work with that file.
For new, unsaved files, or files on your local hard drive, the current primary account shown at the top of the Microsoft 365 window must be licensed for Copilot.
Important: Copilot in Excel requires AutoSave to be turned on, which means the file has to be saved to OneDrive. It currently doesn't work with unsaved files.
For the web apps - Enable third-party cookies
Due to technical limitations we're working to address, validating your Copilot license requires your web browser to support third-party cookies. These are often blocked by default in Incognito/InPrivate mode, or in some browsers such as Safari. If you choose to enable third-party cookies, here's how you can do that.
In Microsoft Edge
Select Settings and More > Settings > Cookies and site permissions > Manage and delete cookies and site data .
Ensure Block third-party cookies is set to Off .
In Google Chrome
Select Customize and control Google Chrome > Settings > Privacy and security .
Ensure Allow third-party cookies is selected.
In Mozilla Firefox
Select Open Application Menu (the "hamburger" menu) > Settings > Privacy & Security .
Under Enhanced Tracking Protection , select Custom .
Ensure Cookies is unchecked.
In Safari (on MacOS)
Select Safari > Settings... .
Select the Privacy tab. Under Website tracking , ensure Prevent cross-site tracking is unchecked.
Select the Advanced tab. Under Privacy , ensure Allow-privacy-preserving measurement of ad effectiveness and Block all cookies are unchecked.

safari not working on ipad
When I use Safari to bring up a website, it will bring up the website. But if I start searching on the website, I initially will ee the page, then get a message “page not found.” I have done everything that has been suggested to get Safari working again, but to no avail. My software is up to date.
