If tour rehearsals count as a training season, then, yes, “ Training Season ” is over for Dua Lipa , who performed her first of four Radical Optimism concerts on Wednesday, June 5, in Berlin, Germany. Dua Lipa’s Upcoming Radical Optimism Dates

Lipa will perform in Pula, Croatia on June 9 before staging back-to-back shows in Nimes, France on June 12 and 13. Then, she’s set to perform at several festivals throughout the summer and fall, including Glastonbury Festival and Austin City Limits, before performing at Royal Albert Hall in London on October 17. Dua Lipa Announces Highly Anticipated North American Future Nostalgia Tour

Today, global pop superstar Dua Lipa announced the North American leg of her highly anticipated  Future Nostalgia Tour  for 2022, in support of the Grammy-winning album of the same name. The arena tour makes 28 stops across the US, including Dua’s first ever headline show at Madison Square Garden in New York City and the iconic Forum in Los Angeles. The  Future Nostalgia Tour  will also feature support from Caroline Polachek and Lolo Zouaï, with Megan Thee Stallion joining on select dates, full list of tour stops and lineups below. Tickets and VIP upgrade packages go on sale beginning Friday, September 17 th  at 12PM local  here .

“I’m so thrilled to tour again and see my angels in person! How amazing that we all get to dance and celebrate together once again,” says Dua. “When I was writing  Future Nostalgia , I imagined the songs being played in clubs on nights out with your mates. I’m so excited that this fantasy is finally coming true. I can’t wait to experience these songs with you together live!”

The long-awaited  Future Nostalgia Tour,  produced by Ceremony London, promoted by Live Nation and sponsored by Truly Hard Seltzer, will be the first time Dua connects her live vision for this album in-person with fans. Previously, the superstar was able to connect with fans during her record smashing live stream extravaganza  Studio 2054 , which had over 5 million viewers during its initial airing and featured special guests Angele, Bad Bunny, Elton John, FKA Twigs, J Balvin, Kylie Minogue, Miley Cyrus and Tainy. Dua is already slated to tour the EU in 2022, making this her first world tour run since breaking records during quarantine with her platinum-certified sophomore album  Future Nostalgia . 

Future Nostalgia  is the longest running top 10 album by a female artist on the Billboard 200 this year and was the #1 most streamed album of 2020 on Spotify. It landed on the year-end “Best Of” lists of everyone from Rolling Stone to Billboard and Pitchfork, and spawned multiple worldwide hit singles including the #1 tracks “Break My Heart,” “Levitating,” which is still topping the charts and is the longest running song ever on Spotify’s Today’s Top Hits playlist, and US 4x platinum lead single “Don’t Start Now,” which broke her personal best record of weeks at #1 at US Top 40 radio and is the most streamed track on Spotify’s Today’s Top Hits playlist in history.

I hope she reads this. SO lemme spill the tea. It was freaking amazing. I was so close I could see ever pore on her, and lemme tell you there isn’t many. She’s so amazing and I felt the show ran pretty smoothly except for the fact that it was very hot and everyone around you was sweating their ass off. But she was great. Best night of my life seeing the love of my life. She was so good and it was so beautiful if she ever were to return I would be there in a heart beat. Though the initial show was cancelled I wasn’t one bit mad after attending this one and it was really nice that my old tickets still were valid. Thanks dua, love you lots. -your biggest fan:)

It was the most lit concert i had ever attended. Dua was so full of life & super hyped for the whole concert. Im still upset that yesterday had come to an end way too soon. The most memorable memory i had was the moment she teared uo in her speech for 'New Love' as that song was way too genuine and its from the most vulnerable side of hers. The next memorable moment was the participation in 'IDGAF'the crowd was so wild, and Dua also had a moment with us when she remixed the sentence 'I dont give a F' like amazing man this is the most mesmerising concert i had ever attended. Oh, wow. Dua Lipa was absolutely fantastic! She is extraordinarily talented and really knows how to work a crowd. The band was brilliant — and I can say it was definitely loud enough!

I was very lucky to see her at a venue such as the Apollo. Such a small venue for somebody doing an arena tour! We got the tickets very early on, before she became massive, and I’m very glad we did.

The whole way home I was smiling. The last song — New Rules — set the place on fire, that last chorus was insanely good, and all complete with confetti canons!

Thank you for the time, Dua Lipa! Money well-spent; it was worth every second!

Dua Lipa Had Five Outfit Changes During Glastonbury Set

Dua Lipa came to the UK's beloved Glastonbury Festival ready to bring the audience joy with her endless hit songs and upbeat dance moves — but she also brought some major fashion moments with her five (!) outfit changes.

Lipa's explosive headlining set on Friday, June 28, closed the festival's third day with several raucous dance numbers and proved the pop star worthy of her continued success. Lipa took the Pyramid Stage in front of nearly 100,000 people at the festival held in the Vale of Avalon in Somerset County, England.

In between her songs and electric dance numbers, the singer and host of the Dua Lipa: At Your Service podcast briefly spoke about how she “manifested” headlining Glastonbury.

“I’ve written this moment down and wished for it and dreamt it and worked so hard,” Lipa said. “It’s a lot, innit? A lot to take in… Little me would just be beside herself right now.”

Lipa ran through her hits including “Training Season,” “One Kiss,” “Levitating,” “Houdini," and more throughout her performance that lasted just under two hours. She also surprised the crowd by bringing out one of her collaborators Kevin Parker of Tame Impala to perform his song, “The Less I Know the Better.” Parker worked with Lipa on her third studio album Radical Optimism — released this year.

Despite the limitations of the shorter festival runtime, Dua Lipa managed to switch up her outfits five times throughout her set. Styled by fashion powerhouse Jahleel Weaver — who has famously worked with Rihanna for years — Lipa's looks came together as part of her current Radical Optimism Tour. Weaver told British Vogue that he had about a month to prepare Lipa's five custom-made outfits for Glastonbury and created them based on the act in Lipa's show.

“This isn’t Coachella! But Dua Lipa is still one of the biggest pop stars in the world and so we had to make sure the looks felt just as ‘stage appropriate,'” Weaver said. “It was easy to pull off because she’s so open, so fun, and will try anything.”

Dua Lipa is this generation’s Pop princess. She’s as close as we can get to our very own, Britney Spears-level, textbook Pop star. And boy does she know how to put on a show. It was nearly impossible for attendees to keep from dancing as Dua took the stage in Berlin, Germany for the first night of her Radical Optimism tour.

The past year has been a big one for Pop, with the Eras and Renaissance Tours dominating entertainment headlines for months at a time. Compared to these tours du jour, the Radical Optimism Tour boasts more of a pared down approach. It’s a shift from the extravagant theatrics of Dua’s contemporaries, taking us back to the OG formula of choreographed dance breaks, stylish outfit changes and true-to-heart Pop. It's a blueprint that works, one that made everyone want to get up and dance along with Dua and her backup crew that night.

This sentiment lies at the heart of Dua’s music. From “New Rules” to “Levitating,” her disco-infused beats compel anyone listening to get up and get moving. Her performance in Berlin is further proof of this theory. The crowd of bobbing heads fell prey to Dua’s infectious rhythms, in constant motion for the duration of the four-act set, even in the rain.

“It’s important that you guys are having a great time because we’re having a really good time. And it's been a really long time since I’ve been on stage, since I’ve put together a proper show... and it feels amazing to be back.”

The night began with an explosively energetic performance of “Training Season.” Backup dancers pumped up the eager crowd until Dua appeared, strutting down the stage, mic stand in hand, in a diamond-detailed leather one-piece and fishnet tights.

Dua continued with hit after hit, and quick change after quick change. She swapped leather for mesh in her second act, donning a see-through leotard and a lace wrap skirt for the live debut of Radical Optimism track “These Walls.” The next round of songs saw Dua in a pair of on-trend chainmail micro shorts, long fingerless leather gloves and a Sonic Youth band tee. After exciting re-vamped renditions of "New Rules," "Hallucinate," "Electricity" and "Cold Heart," she emerged from a sea of fog in a full-on bedazzled slip for “Happy For You,” only to immediately change into a matching white set for the rest of the final act. I’m sure the thousands in attendance could be heard from miles away, as they chanted along to “Physical,” “Don’t Start Now” and “Houdini” to close the night.

Though the tour shares a name with Dua’s most recent release, Radical Optimism , the album only makes up about 30% of the setlist , with seven songs from Future Nostalgia taking up most of the show. Unless Dua switches up the setlist for future dates, fans can expect to hear all the chart-topping hits.

In performing an extensive list from her catalog of radio regulars, Dua pays homage to the tracks that built her career. Introducing “Be The One,” Dua graciously reflects on this decision.

“It’s one that I have to sing every time because it completely changed my life, and if it wasn’t for that, I don’t know I wouldn’t be here.”

Dua will continue her tour in the coming months, making stops in Europe, Asia and the U.K. throughout the summer and well into this fall. Though she has yet to announce a U.S. leg of the tour, Dua is set to headline Austin City Limits this October. Considering its energy-filled kickoff, with fan-favorites and body rolls galore, the tone has been set for the Radical Optimism Tour. Every song was a party on stage, and as a culmination of Dua’s dance-inducing discography and personal flair, it’s bound to be a good time for anyone looking to attend.

Eminem and Dua Lipa's ‘Houdini' Singles Mashed Up By Foster the People In ‘Battle of the Houdinis'

For Mark Foster's next trick the Foster the People frontman has cooked up a triple-headed remix of songs titled "Houdini." In an Instagram video posted on Tuesday (July 2), Foster explained, "alright, so there's like two ‘Houdini's on the radio right now, one from Eminem , one from Dua Lipa ," while sitting at a keyboard in a recording studio.

"Thought it'd be fun to bring in our OG ‘Houdini' from our first record and, you know, mash the three of them up together," he said of the beat-heavy track that was the fifth single from Foster's 2011 debut album, Torches . Dua Lipa released her "Houdini" in November as the lead single from her Radical Optimism album, while Eminem dropped his song of the same name in May as a preview of his upcoming album The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce) , which is due out on July 12.

Foster's remix video then pivots to the band leader at a computer cueing up Dua's song while playing keyboards and triggering the beat from his group's track as he mixes in some Slim Shady. "Kinda cool, right?" he said of the resulting mash-up he dubbed: "Houdini x Houdini x Houdini" aka "Battle of the Houdinis." He then presented the final mix, with Dua singing over the booming Foster beat and Eminem rapping as Foster danced around the studio to the result.

Eminem's "Houdini" peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard 100 singles chart, while Dua's topped out at No. 11; Foster's OG take reached No. 37 on the Billboard U.S. alternative airplay chart.

It will take only three minutes for Dua Lipa to seduce you.

The British-Albanian superstar dropped her new single, “Houdini,” Thursday, a flirty, dance-y collision of psychedelic pop and a groove that goes straight to your veins.

The song is the first from her anticipated third album, due in 2024, and one that she notes in a release “embodies that 4 a.m. feeling when the night is coming to a close and you’re a bit sweaty, but you don’t want the party to end.”

Co-written and co-produced by Tame Impala’s Kevin Parker , among others, “Houdini” is a harbinger of what to expect on Lipa’s upcoming album, which she says was “ written in those joyous moments of absolute chaos.”

Lipa, 28, playfully demands in the lyrics, “Prove you’ve got the right to please me,” while also vowing, “catch me or I’ll go Houdini” over swirling textures. A cascading midsong synth breakdown is signature Parker before “Houdini” dovetails into Daft Punk-like whirs of keyboards.

“You never know where something may take you; that’s the beauty of being open to whatever life throws your way,” Lipa says of the song.

The three-time Grammy winner has hardly been idle since the 2020 release of her smash “Future Nostalgia” album and ensuing tour.

Along with the hits generated from the worldwide breakthrough, including “Levitating,” “Physical” and “Break My Heart,” Lipa scored a No. 1 hit with Elton John in 2021 with “Cold Heart (Pnau Remix)" and another charttopper this summer with “Dance the Night Away,” from the star-packed “Barbie The Album” soundtrack.

She’s also expanded her other interests with curated recommendations lists on her Service95 platform , an accompanying podcast, “Dua Lipa: At Your Service,” and the Service95 Book Club.

Of her upcoming next music venture, Lipa says she’s looking forward to sharing her “feeling of defiant bliss” with fans.

Legend has it that if you stand in the mirror and say “Houdini” three times, Foster the People will appear out of thin air and play “Houdini x Houdini x Houdini,” their mashup of their own song “Houdini” with Dua Lipa ‘s single “Houdini,” and Eminem ‘s new single — also titled “ Houdini .” The other option, if for some reason the idea of Foster the People spawning in your home is unsettling, is to hear it on Instagram, where the band shared a breakdown showing their process of combining the three songs.
