You know the name, the laid-back attitude and where to find them, but you’ll just have to visit The Bahamas to truly appreciate this classic cruise destination. On this 700-strong string of sun-splashed islands dotting the blue Atlantic, the living’s easy. (And it’s not bad on a Bahamas cruise either!) The central port of Nassau is the bustling capital of the country — “bustling” is a relative term, of course — while Freeport is all chill, all the time. And then there’s Half Moon Cay and Princess Cays: pure private-destination paradise, the likes of which could put a smile on the face of someone who really loves frowning. Enjoy sailing, snorkeling, strolling pearly pink-sand beaches, and swimming through crystalline turquoise seas on a Bahamas cruise.
- Swim and splash in sparkling waters.
- Taste the private destination life on Half Moon Cay and Princess Cays.
- Explore the expansive Atlantis resort.

All aboard the Taylor Swift ship! Popstar-themed cruise sets sail in Florida next year
Ahoy, Swifties! For those who were unable to attend the Eras Tour in person, you're now in luck.
The “ In My Cruise Era … ” is a Taylor Swift-themed cruise that is set to launch from Florida in 2024.
The cruise, on a Royal Caribbean ship, leaves for the Bahamas the day after Swift's final show of her three-day stop in Miami, departing from the Port of Miami on Oct. 21, 2024. Marvelous Mouse Travels travel agents Jessica Malerman, Nicole Rivera, and Shelby Reyes are organizing the fan-led cruise.
"This cruise is for all fans, so bring your besties, your moms and dads, your baby fans, and if you need someone to room with, post on our page and ask," the organizers wrote on the website .
For those interested in watching the sun go down while you're on the boat in the water , here's everything you need to know.
Taylor Swift in Brazil: Rio de Janeiro mayor wants to project Taylor Swift T-shirt on Jesus Christ statue
Will Taylor Swift also be on the cruise?
Unfortunately, no.
Marvelous Mouse Travels has emphasized the group trip does not have any affiliation or endorsement from Swift or her company.
What does the Taylor Swift-themed cruise schedule look like?
The website shares their schedule for the four-day cruise:
- Day 1: Depart from Port of Miami
- Day 2: Perfect Day at Coco Cay - Royal Caribbean’s Private Island!
- Day 3: Nassau, Bahamas
- Day 4 : Day at Sea
- Day 5: Arrive at Port of Miami
What activities will be available on the Taylor Swift-themed cruise?
"Join us as we celebrate all things Taylor, make new friends, dress up in our favorite eras, trade friendship bracelets, and enjoy everything this amazing ship has to offer," they wrote.
The itinerary, though not finalized and "subject to change," includes:
- " We can’t make any promises now can we babe, but you can make me a drink " Welcome Cocktail Party
- " Make the friendship bracelets, take the moment and taste it " Friendship Bracelet Swapping
- " I don't wanna dance if I'm not dancing with you " ThemedDance Party
- " Heartbreak is the national anthem, we sing it proudly " Themed Karaoke
- " Can I ask you a question? " Taylor Trivia
- "Lately she’s been dressing for revenge " Nightly eras outfit themes
What is the cost of Taylor Swift cruise tickets?
Are you ready for it? Swifties can now start booking their rooms for the cruise.
There are three stateroom layouts that guests can book — interior, boardwalk balcony and ocean view balcony. However, the boardwalk balcony option is marked as sold out on the travel agent site as of Nov. 16 and concierge and suite staterooms are available upon request.
The interior layout is $1,573 total and the ocean view balcony is 1,967 total. Both prices include taxes and fees and require a $100 deposit.
For a limited time, fans who book the cruise will receive a $100 onboard credit.
What’s included in the ticket price?
According to the website, the cruise fare includes stateroom accommodations, dinner in the main dining room nightly as well as additional buffet and a la carte options around the ship. It also includes entertainment, such as large-scale stage shows and more intimate activities, game shows, and karaoke.
"The cruise fare also includes special themed activities available on this sailing only," Organizers write. "Details will be released soon, but you can expect Taylor-inspired theme nights and activities like Taylor karaoke, trivia, scavenger hunts, door decorating contests and more."
How to book the Taylor Swift cruise
You won't have to deal with Ticketmaster this time. You can book your room for the "In My Cruise Era, Allure of the Seas” on the website .
Due to capacity restrictions, they can only guarantee guests who book directly with the website be able to participate in the Eras-themed events.
What documents do I need to board?
The website says that a passport is the best ID document for travel. They also suggest birth certificates for U.S. citizens.
What cruise ship is hosting the Taylor Swift event?
Marvelous Mouse Travels said they are hosting the cruise on Royal Caribbean's 18 -deck "Allure of the Seas " ship. Some of the amenities on the Allure of the Seas, which has been sailing for almost 13 years, include a zip line, Starbucks, arcade, mini golf and rock climbing.

Royal Caribbean
What Is The Best Month To Cruise To The Bahamas?
With The Bahamas' year-round tropical climate, anytime is a good time! Of course, you may want to consider the rainy season, the summer season, and other factors to make the right decision for you. For those seeking the best weather, we recommend sailing between winter and spring (January to April). You'll enjoy mid-80s temperatures with little rain.
June is the peak of summer with temperatures heating up through August, with increasing rain chances, tropical storms, and hurricanes.
Fall is an ideal time to cruise to The Bahamas. However, remember hurricane season is still active during this time period (through November).
Do you Need a Passport to Visit The Bahamas?
In most cases, you only need a government issued photo ID to board a round trip cruise ship. However, to be on the safe side, you should bring a valid US passport with you on your cruise to The Bahamas. Having your passport can make your life a lot easier in the unlikely event you’re involved in an emergency and have to return to the USA ahead of schedule.
The only exception to this rule is if you travel solely to the US Virgin Islands. Since these islands are technically American territory, there’s no need for passports or currency exchanges.
How to Get to PortMiami
There are many convenient ways to get to PortMiami from Miami International Airport or nearby hotels. Since cruising is such a big business in the city, your chosen company will probably offer a direct shuttle service from MIA. Each cruise line has its own price but you can expect to pay about $17 per person to use a direct shuttle. Depending on traffic, it usually only takes about 15 minutes to drive from MIA to PortMiami.
If you find it more cost-effective, you could also book a taxi or a rideshare vehicle to the port. Although prices could fluctuate, it usually costs between $20-30 to take a cab from MIA.
If you are driving into PortMiami, you will find parking lots and garages by all of the port’s terminals. PortMiami’s standard parking fee is $22 per night and it costs $3 extra per day to park in Royal Caribbean’s Terminal A Garage. If your vehicle is over 20 feet long, you will have to pay $44 per day.
Popular Ports of Call in The Bahamas
Since Nassau is the capital of The Bahamas, it makes sense that this city is also the most popular port for Miami-based cruises. This populous city on New Providence is about 186 miles away from PortMiami. Near the famed Atlantis resort, Nassau has a wealth of historic architecture, old forts and fantastic cuisine.
Although not as popular as Nassau, some cruise ships bring guests to another big city called Freeport. Interestingly, this city on Grand Bahama is slightly closer to Miami at about 110 miles. Freeport is especially popular with nature lovers due to its location near Lucayan National Park and Deadman’s Reef.
As a bonus, most cruise ships include at least one night on their private cays. Here are a few of the more popular locations you may get to visit on your cruise:
Coco Cay (Royal Caribbean)
Castaway Cay (Disney Cruise Line)
Half Moon Cay (Carnival)
Great Stirrup Cay (Norwegian Cruise Line)
Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve (MSC Cruises)
Things to Do in The Bahamas
The list of activities in The Bahamas is endless, but here are some of the most popular activities you could take part in:
Snorkeling and scuba diving
Sunbathing on the beaches
Exploring colonial architecture, forts and pirate museums
Kayaking and canoeing
Parasailing and paragliding
Water skiing and jet skiing
Enjoying authentic Caribbean cuisine

Swifties can now take their love of Taylor Swift to the high seas.
A cruise themed around the pop superstar, 33, is setting sail to the Bahamas next year.
Organized by travel agency Marvelous Mouse Travels, the four-night cruise — called “In My Cruise Era” — will take over Royal Caribbean’s liner Allure of the Seas and depart the Port of Miami the day after Swift’s last Eras Tour stop in the city on Oct. 20, 2024.
The cruise, which is not endorsed by or affiliated with Swift, is hosted by travel agents Jessica Malerman, Nicole Rivera and Shelby Reyes.
“Join us as we celebrate all things Taylor, make new friends, dress up in our favorite eras, trade friendship bracelets, and enjoy everything this amazing ship has to offer!” the web page for the cruise reads.

Swift-themed events are set to take place every night of the voyage, including a welcome cocktail party, a friendship bracelet swapping session and a themed dance party and karaoke night.
Exchanging homemade friendship bracelets with fellow fans has been popular throughout the Eras Tour. The gesture originates from a lyric in Swift’s track “You’re on Your Own Kid” from her 2022 album, Midnights , in which she sings, “make the friendship bracelets.”
The itinerary for the cruise also includes nightly Eras outfit themes and a "Taylor Trivia" game.

After departing Miami on Oct. 21, 2024, the cruise will then visit CocoCay , Royal Caribbean’s private island, before stopping at the Bahamian capital Nassau. Guests will then spend a day at sea on the liner, which has a zip line and a water park, before returning to the Port of Miami on day five.
Swift is currently on the South American leg of her Eras Tour and is playing shows in Brazil until Nov. 26.

The “Cruel Summer” singer will then take a break from touring for a few months until she plays the Tokyo Dome in Japan in Feb. 2024.
On Tuesday, the musician announced that she's added even more dates to her groundbreaking tour, with two additional 2024 shows at London's Wembley Stadium for Aug. 19 and 20 with opening act Paramore .

Taylor Swift-themed cruise plans to set sail in 2024
Posted: November 17, 2023 | Last updated: November 17, 2023
It’s full steam ahead for Swifties — travel company Marvelous Mouse Travels is hosting a Taylor Swift-themed cruise in 2024, and you can book a ticket now.
It’s been a big year for fans of the pop superstar, as Swift has embarked upon a massive global tour and released two rerecorded albums, “Speak Now (Taylor’s Version)” and “1989 (Taylor’s Version).” The year 2024 will see her continue her tour around the world before returning for a second U.S. leg in October in Miami.
- After this week’s rerelease of ‘1989,’ all Taylor Swift needs to claim is her name and her reputation
- The ubiquitous power of Taylor Swift
The Swift-themed cruise departs from Miami on Oct. 21, 2024, the day after Swift’s last show in the city, so extra-dedicated fans can attend the concert one day and hop on the cruise the next. Here’s everything you need to know about the cruise and how to join.
‘In My Cruise Era’
The cruise is a four-day expedition that will take members throughout the Bahamas on a Royal Caribbean ship and includes a host of Taylor Swift-themed activities for guests to participate in while at sea.
The cruise’s website invites guests to “celebrate all things Taylor, make new friends, dress up in our favorite eras, trade friendship bracelets, and enjoy everything this amazing ship has to offer.”
Listed events include a welcome cocktail party, friendship-bracelet swapping (an activity that has become commonplace at Swift’s shows), themed dance parties and karaoke, scavenger hunts, a door-decorating contest and a Swift trivia night. Fans should also bring their best Swift-inspired outfits, as the cruise promises “nightly eras themes” coordinating with the style of each of Swift’s albums.
The cruise ship will depart from the Port of Miami and stop in CocoCay, Royal Caribbean’s private island, and Nassau, Bahamas. The ship will return to Miami on Oct. 25.
This is a fan-sponsored event led by Marvelous Mouse Travels agents Jessica Malerman, Nicole Rivera and Shelby Reyes, all of whom describe themselves as “Taylor fans.” The cruise is not endorsed by Swift or TASRM, her personal publisher.
How much are Taylor Swift cruise tickets?
There are three types of rooms available aboard the Royal Caribbean ship, although the boardwalk balcony options have already sold out.
Interior rooms cost $1,573 total and rooms with an ocean-view balcony cost $1,967, although these prices reflect the cost for two guests combined. The cruise’s website invites anyone who needs a roommate to post a request on its Facebook page .
The cruise fare includes the cost for all of the onboard activities, as well as nightly dinner in the dining room and buffet and a la carte options throughout the ship.
How can I book the Taylor Swift cruise?
Tickets can only be purchased through the Marvelous Mouse Travels website, as buying a ticket on Royal Caribbean will not guarantee a space for the “In My Cruise Era” activities.

A travel agency is hoping to be the latest business to capitalize on Taylormania and is selling tickets for a Taylor Swift -themed cruise.
Called the In My Era Cruise, the Royal Caribbean trip is scheduled to embark from Miami on Oct. 21 , a date that was intended to line up with the end of Swift’s three-night stint at the city’s Hard Rock Stadium during her Eras tour . It will take passengers on several stops across the Bahamas over four nights. Tickets run from $1,500 to nearly $2,000, according to the cruise’s website.
The cruise will feature all the makings of a Swiftie event, such as dressing up in Eras tour outfits and trading friendship bracelets, as well as karaoke, Swift trivia and dance parties. Just don’t expect Swift, or anyone close to her (yes, including Travis Kelce ), to show up.

Taylor Swift reportedly just joined the billionaire’s club, thanks to her Eras tour
Taylor Swift’s net worth is now over $1 billion thanks to the Eras tour, Bloomberg reports. The news comes amid the release of ‘1989 (Taylor’s Version)’ and her concert film’s box office success.
Oct. 27, 2023
The travel agency behind the trip made clear it is “not endorsed or affiliated with TASRM or Taylor Swift,” referring to the “Cruel Summer” singer’s management brand. The agents announced themselves as best friends and Swifties, describing the cruise as “fan-led.” The cruise has drawn fans from across the country — Ohio to Texas to Hawaii, according to a Facebook page set up by the agency for fans hoping to hop on board. And as of Wednesday, Marvelous Mouse Travels said there are still rooms available but they’re selling out fast as the agents begin pulling from a waitlist.
“We still have staterooms to book, so if you haven’t heard back from us yet — don’t panic!” the agency wrote in a Facebook post . “We just don’t want to set unrealistic expectations for anyone as they find us in the coming days and want in.”
Marvelous Mouse is the latest company aiming to cash in on the economic tidal waves that have followed Swift in each stop of her record-breaking Eras tour, which launched in March. On top of ticket sales, her tour has provided a major boost in revenue to local economies , including Los Angeles, from hotels to small businesses such as street vendors .

Taylor Swift keeps audiences in a lavender haze, bests ‘Killers of the Flower Moon’
‘Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour’ continued its reign at the top of the box office despite a solid opening weekend for ‘Killers of the Flower Moon.’

Circle Line Cruise, a popular Manhattan-based ferry known for bringing tourists throughout the Hudson River, offered a Taylor Swift Dance Cruise in May ahead of her show at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey. The tourism company also had a similar dance cruise coinciding with Beyoncé’s Renaissance tour.
One study from online company QuestionPro estimated the Eras tour generated $5 billion for local economies. A California Center for Jobs and the Economy report estimated Swift’s six-show stay at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood would bring $320 million to the county’s economy, including $160 million in wages paid for new jobs generated by the weeklong event.
And Swift remains perhaps the biggest winner. Swifties have been willing to put down serious cash to see her perform, which experts credit to the pandemic, which starved fans of live music for several years. According to a Bloomberg News analysis , thanks to sales from the Eras tour (and Swift’s box-office-winning concert film ), the Grammy winner entered her billionaire era last month. Her reported net worth: $1.1 billion.
