Jason Aldean
The three-time ACM “Entertainer of the Year” has bolstered 26 No. One hits, 15 billion streams and more than 20 million albums sold as “he has blended his own recipe and it’s one that has vaulted him to the pinnacle of Country music success” (Atlanta Journal Constitution) . Notably, seven of Aldean’s previous studio albums have been certified PLATINUM or more and he has the most Top 10 song on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart, more than any other artists, since making his chart debut in 2005. The current GRAMMY nominee continues be one of a card-carrying member of Country’s elite headliners whose incendiary tours are nearing legendary status as his shows are “filled with the perfect mix of rockin’ anthems and raucous drinkin’ songs” (Herald Extra) . The multi-Platinum singer also founded Wolf Moon Bourbon, an 80 proof bourbon that has been distilled from Midwestern grains and aged for four years offering a finish of caramel, oak and spice. Gabby Barrett
Warner Music Nashville’s MULTI-PLATINUM star Gabby Barrett is setting the trend in Country music. Amassing nearly 2 BILLION global streams to her credit, Barrett’s expanded version of her acclaimed debut album, GOLDMINE (DELUXE), features current single “Pick Me Up.” Breaking out with her top-streaming GOLD LP, the wildly-praised collection launched her meteoric 5X PLATINUM “I Hope” – the most-streamed Country song of 2020; 4-week Hot AC #1 crossover “I Hope (feat. Charlie Puth)” – which earned the iHeartRadio Titanium Award for reaching over 1 BILLION radio spins; and PLATINUM three-week #1 “The Good Ones.” Next to be honored at Billboard’s 2022 Women in Music Awards with the Rising Star Award presented by Honda, ACM’s reigning New Female Artist of the Year is also set to co-host the 57th Academy of Country Music Awards™ and nominated for Female Artist of the Year. Adding even more elite wins to her goldmine of accolades from Billboard Music Awards, iHeartRadio Music Awards, CMT Music Awards, Barrett was recognized as one of the five 2021 CMT Artists of the Year. John Morgan
John Morgan brings a blue-collar toughness to Country that’s pulled straight from the only life he knows. Hailing from a tiny town called Sylva, deep in the Great Smoky Mountains of North Carolina, John Morgan grew up immersed in Bluegrass tradition and even toured the festival circuit each summer in a family band, before diving into songwriting, inspired by six-string legends from Tony Rice to John Mayer. More than a year after selling everything he had to follow his dream, an only-in-Nashville story involving Uber drivers and impressive demos led to a writing session with Kurt Allison and Tully Kennedy—two incredible songwriters and longtime bandmates of Aldean. That session led to the superstar cutting eight songs written by John, including “If I Didn’t Love You”. Aldean signed John to Night Train Records, his imprint with BBR Music Group and his debut track, COLDEST BEER IN TOWN was released in 2021. For more information visit www.johnmorganmusic.com .

Jason Aldean has big plans to head back out on the road in the summer of 2022. On Monday (Feb. 14), he announced his upcoming Rock n' Roll Cowboy Tour, a trek that takes its name from the recently released song "Rock and Roll Cowboy" off Aldean's forthcoming Macon album.
Kicking off July 15 with a performance in Scranton, Pa., Aldean's 2022 tour will extend through October, wrapping with an arena show in Wichita, Kan. Altogether, the trek encompasses 34 shows in cities like Boston, Dallas and Birmingham, plus a hometown stop at Nashville's Bridgestone Arena on October 14.
"I'm ready to get back out and feel the nights come alive," Aldean states in a press release. "We are already thinking about the setlist ... there will be some songs off the new record, like, 'Rock and Roll Cowboy,' which felt like a great tour name because it's all about knowing you belong on the road."
Aldean will have plenty of new music to perform when he hits the road this summer. Georgia , the second half of his double album, Macon, Georgia , arrives April 22. The first half of the project, Macon , dropped in November 2021. Altogether, it's Aldean's tenth studio project, with each half of the album boasting 15 tracks — 10 new songs and five live versions of selected hits spanning the singer's discography to date.
Up-and-coming star Gabby Barrett will serve as direct support on the tour, with fellow openers John Morgan and Dee Jay Silver joining the Rock n' Roll Cowboy Tour, too. Tickets go on sale to the general public on Feb. 18, but members of Aldean's fan club, the Aldean Army, will have access to a special pre-sale beginning Tuesday (Feb. 15) at 10AM local time.

About Jason Aldean: Multi-Platinum entertainer Jason Aldean has learned a thing or two about the music he has made over the past 16 years, but as far as he’s come, Aldean always looks back home to Macon, Georgia. Both where he is from and how far he has taken his signature sound is reflected throughout his upcoming 10th studio album Macon, Georgia . In addition to the project’s multi-week No. One, “If I Didn’t Love You” with Carrie Underwood, on Nov. 12 fans will have access to nine more new tracks and five live tracks. Over the course of the following months, Aldean will continue to deliver new songs leading into the full release of all 30 tracks – 20 new and at least one live hit off each of his previous albums – on April 22, 2022. Continuing success outside of the music industry, Aldean recently launched his latest collaboration, Wolf Moon Bourbon, an 80 proof bourbon that has been distilled from Midwestern grains and aged for four years offering a finish of caramel, oak and spice. Aldean’s a card-carrying member of Country’s elite headliners whose incendiary tours are nearing legendary status as he is one of the few acts in the genre to sell-out multiple stadiums. Jason, Brittany Aldean face public backlash for political statements
In January , Aldean faced both backlash and praise alike after posting an Instagram photo of himself and his wife, Brittany, ringing in 2022 with former President Donald Trump, proclaiming the 45th president of the United States as the "GOAT," or greatest of all time.
Conservative-leaning country music has been a part of America's cultural fabric since the 1970s. Back then, it was considered the soundtrack of Richard Nixon's "silent majority" of rural, blue-collar, and Republican Party-voting "forgotten Americans." However, Aldean currently highlights a vocal new generation of artists speaking out with conservative rhetoric.

"At some point, it's gotten to where if you're a conservative and you're in this business, you're not allowed to speak," Aldean said during a November 2021 Audacy interview . "It's hard to go lay my head down at night with a clear conscience, feeling like I'm a coward for not saying the things that I want to say, or I feel like need to be said."

Jason Aldean will perform at CMT Music Awards despite ban and backlash
The “Try That in a Small Town” singer is set to perform “Let Your Boys Be Country” at the ceremony.
In spite of widespread controversy, Jason Aldean is set to perform at the CMT Music Awards.
The country singer sparked criticism last summer with his “Try That in a Small Town,” as many interpreted the song and video as a condemnation of the Black Lives Matter movement. CMT initially played the video for the song in the weekend after its July release, but pulled it from rotation following online controversy.
Now, Aldean will perform his song “Let Your Boys Be Country” at Sunday night’s ceremony, marking his ninth performance at the event. That same song is also nominated for the Video of the Year award. Other performers include Jelly Roll, Keith Urban , Kelsea Ballerini , and Lainey Wilson.
The video for “Try That in a Small Town” featured footage of a Molotov cocktail, a burning American flag, and violent conflict between police and civilians. The lyrics to the song also feature potentially violent connotations: "Got a gun that my granddad gave me / They say one day they're gonna round up / Well, that s--- might fly in the city, good luck / Try that in a small town."
Aldean denied that the song and video had any racial elements. “I have been accused of releasing a pro-lynching song (a song that has been out since May) and was subject to the comparison that I (direct quote) was not too pleased with the nationwide BLM protests,” he wrote on social media at the time. “These references are not only meritless, but dangerous. There is not a single lyric in the song that references race.”
Later, Aldean criticized “cancel culture” at a concert, characterizing it as "something that, if people don't like what you say, they try to make sure they can cancel you, which means try to ruin your life, ruin everything."
The 2024 CMT Music Awards, hosted by Kelsea Ballerini, will air on Sunday, April 7, at 8 p.m. on CBS and Paramount+.

Kid Rock, Jason Aldean to headline country music festival in Gonzales
B ATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - Gonzales has been chosen as one of seven small towns across the country to host an upcoming country music festival featuring country superstars like Kid Rock and Jason Aldean.
Officials announced the Rock the County tour will be in Gonzales on April 5-6, 2024, for a two-day country music extravaganza at the Lamar Dixon Expo Center. The lineup for the Gonzales show includes Kid Rock, Jason Aldean, Hank Williams Jr., Koe Wetzel, Travis Tritt, Big & Rich, Gretchen Wilson, Uncle Kracker, Elvie Shane, Kolby Cooper, Gavin Adcock, and Sadie Bass.
“We are excited that Gonzales was chosen as one of the seven small towns for this inaugural festival. The impact that this event will have on our parish will be tremendous,” said Ascension Parish President Clint Cointment.
Shane Quick, a partner at LiveCo., expects there to be anywhere from a $15 million to a $25 million economic impact on the local areas.
“The elected officials there are going to use that to improve their life there for everybody,” Quick said. “That’s very exciting for us. They’re (Jason Aldean and Kid Rock) like we’re blessed to be living where we live today in this country and want the best for people.”
Quick said the festival is really going to lean into that which he says is something everyone can agree on.
“Those are all things that it doesn’t matter if you’re Democrat or Republican, that you believe our small towns are our best people. This is the only life we have, so we might as well enjoy it, so we really want to get to know y’all and build something and bring something that you guys will be proud of for years to come,” he added.
The Rock the Country tour kicks off in April of 2024. It will stop at the following small towns:
- Gonzales, La. - April 5-6 at Lamar-Dixon Expo Center
- Ashland, Ky. - April 19-20 at Boyd County Fairgrounds
- Rome, Ga. - May 10-11 at Kingston Downs
- Ocala, Fla. - June 7-8 at Majestic Oaks Ocala
- Mobile, Ala. - June 21-22 at The Grounds
- Poplar Bluff, Mo. - June 28-29 at Brick’s Offroad Parks
- Anderson, S.C. - July 26-27 at Anderson Sports and Entertainment Center
Headliners are set to appear at all festivals, but the individual lineups will vary.
Some fan-favorite artists like Miranda Lambert, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Brantley Gilbert, and Nelly will not make it to the Gonzales festival, but fans can catch them at some of the other Rock the Country shows.
“Rock The Country is for everyone who makes this country run and loves America,” said Kid Rock. “Nobody knows how to party like Small Town America!”
Quick says this festival is very needed at a time like this, and he thinks it is going to be welcomed in these small towns and small communities.
He said there will be people from every state and country there.
“We fully anticipate having people from around the world coming to Gonzales, Louisiana,” said Quick.
A maximum of 30,000 people will be able to attend each day of the event, according to officials.
Tickets for Rock the Country went on sale Friday, Nov. 17, at 10 a.m.
