The full Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour concert film is finally coming to streaming — with 4 bonus surprise songs

"Cardigan" and four songs from the acoustic set will be included in the "Taylor's Version" cut of the movie, which is heading to Disney+.

Just days after announcing her 11th studio album , The Tortured Poets Department , Taylor Swift has unveiled the long-awaited streaming plans for her blockbuster Eras Tour concert film .

Disney+ announced Wednesday that it will be the exclusive streaming home of Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour (Taylor's Version) , a cut of the film that will present the concert in its entirety for the first time. The new version of the movie, which also includes the song "Cardigan" and four additional acoustic songs, will make its streaming debut March 15. Swift shared the news on social media shortly after Disney's announcement.

The Eras Tour film, directed by Sam Wrench, grossed more than $260 million at the global box office, making it the top selling concert film of all time.

In making the announcement, Disney CEO Bob Iger said, "The Eras Tour has been a true phenomenon that has and continues to thrill fans around the world, and we are very excited to bring this electrifying concert to audiences wherever they are, exclusively on Disney+."

The film debuted in theaters Oct. 13, and noticeably excluded five songs from the Eras Tour set list as it was performed in Los Angeles in August, when the film was shot: "No Body No Crime," "Wildest Dreams," "The Archer," "Cardigan" and "Long Live." When it later headed to VOD rentals on Swift's birthday on Dec. 13, a new version of the film featured the performances of "Wildest Dreams," "The Archer" and "Long Live" tacked on at the end, but not the other two songs.

Given that this new Taylor's Version of the film is being touted as being shown "in its entirety for the first time," it stands to reason that all the missing tracks will finally take their rightful place in the film, in addition to four additional acoustic songs. But since "No Body No Crime" is not explicitly mentioned and "Cardigan" is, it would appear "NBNC"will likely be the only song to not make the cut, presumably since it was a performance with Haim unique to only a small handful of Eras Tour dates, and the concert film is more inclusive of the tour as a whole.

As for the four new acoustic performances in the film, on each of the three nights the concert was filmed in L.A., Swift performed two different surprise songs during the acoustic set, meaning there were six different possibilities for the film in that section of the show. In the original theatrical and and VOD rental versions, only "You're On Your Own, Kid" and "Our Song" made the cut. That means that the remaining acoustic performances of "I Can See You," "Maroon," "You Are in Love," and "Death by a Thousand Cuts" will likely be in the film somewhere.

Taylor Swift's Eras Tour is live to stream on Disney+ with bonus 'Acoustic Collection'

In living rooms and bedrooms across the world, Taylor Swift fans danced, cheered and sang their hearts out to the Eras Tour. Screaming the bridge to "Cruel Summer," repeating back the secret fandom chants and diving into their couches after the surprise set , Swifties watched the three-and-a-half-hour movie of a tour that broke a Guinness World Record and got Swift and her team nominated for a Golden Globe .

The third version of the movie released with unlimited rewatches to Disney+ subscribers included "Cardigan" and four bonus acoustic songs eliminated from version two released on Swift's birthday last year, Dec. 13. The streaming service even customized its menu with the singer's 10 albums and movies and shows that fit each era. And parents, keep in mind curse words aren't bleeped out.

"Welcome to the acoustic set," Swift said 2 hours and 24 minutes into the movie before playing the original acoustic songs "Our Song" and "You're On Your Own Kid." "When I dreamed up the idea of the Eras Tour, I thought it would be really fun to sort of go back through all these different phases I've had musically because it's been a little bit of everything. You've been so kind in letting me explore genres and step outside boxes that are created for us in the music industry. And that's only because of you that I get to do that."

After the credits rolled, Swift appeared on the screen again with the words "The Acoustic Collection" and proceeded to thrill the Los Angeles crowd with all six songs she played during the three nights of filming. She plays "I Can See You," "Death By A Thousand Cuts" and "Our Song" (again) on the guitar. Then, she strikes the notes of "You Are In Love," "Maroon" and "You're On Your Own Kid" (again) on the piano.

The movie clocks in at 3 hours, 30 minutes and 23 seconds. Swift is on a two-month break from her world tour. It will begin again on May 9 in Paris, France.

Taylor Swift's Eras Tour concert film is headed to Disney+

The Eras Tour concert film will be available for streaming next month on Disney+, Taylor Swift said Wednesday on Instagram.

“This week is truly the best kind of chaos,” Swift wrote . “I’m thrilled to let you know I’ve found a streaming home for The Eras Tour Concert Film … Available starting March 15 which is actually very 🔜😆🫶”

Once it is on the platform, the film will include all songs from the three Los Angeles tour dates during which it was filmed at SoFi Stadium. That means viewers will get to watch Swift perform “cardigan,” as well as four additional acoustic surprise songs from the tour: “I Can See You,” “Maroon,” “You Are in Love” and “Death by a Thousand Cuts.”

Two months after its record-breaking Oct. 13 release in theaters, “Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour” was made available to rent for 48 hours at $19.89. The rental version included “Wildest Dreams,” “The Archer” and “Long Live,” three songs left out of the original in-theater version.

The price, an homage to Swift’s birth year and her fifth studio album, “1989,” drew criticism from many who believed it was unreasonably high for a two-day window to watch — and fans quickly labeled the film as one of the most pirated movies of all time.

A spokesperson for Swift did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

In a statement , Disney CEO Bob Iger said, " The Eras Tour  has been a true phenomenon that has and continues to thrill fans around the world, and we are very excited to bring this electrifying concert to audiences wherever they are, exclusively through Disney+.”

Swift surprised fans with news of a new album in accepting a Grammy award Sunday.

“The Tortured Poets Department" will drop April 19, she said. Meanwhile, she is in Tokyo for the next leg of the Eras Tour.

Taylor Swift has officially announced new concert dates for 2023, including a stop at Lumen Field in Seattle. The pop star released her album 'Midnights' last month to critical acclaim.

SEATTLE - Taylor Swift has officially announced new concert dates for 2023, including a stop at Lumen Field in Seattle .

The pop star 's highly anticipated stadium tour, entitled "Eras Tour," will kick off next March in Glendale, Arizona and run through August, concluding in Los Angeles.

"I’m enchanted to announce my next tour: Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour , a journey through the musical eras of my career (past & present!) The first leg of the tour will be in stadiums across the US, with international dates to be announced as soon as we can!" the musician wrote on her Twitter on Tuesday.

The Seattle concert will be at Lumen Field on July 22 with Haim and Gracie Abrams.

Other West Coast stops include Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif. on July 29 and SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles on Aug. 4 and 5.

The "Feeling like the luckiest person alive. I can’t WAIT to see you. It’s been a long time coming."

Swift also announced a slew of opening artists that she will be taking on the road with her, including Paramore, Haim and Phoebe Bridgers.

Tickets go on sale to the public on Nov. 18. There will also be a Ticketmaster Verified Fan program "to ensure tickets get into the hands of fans."

Swift’s announcement also promised that international dates will follow.

Recently, Swift made music history when 10 songs from her new album, "Midnights," charted in the top 10 songs of Billboard's Hot 100 in a single week. Swift is the first musician to achieve this feat, according to Billboard.

The "Blank Space" singer took to Twitter to record her reaction to the news.

"10 out of 10 of the Hot 100??? On my 10th album??? I AM IN SHAMBLES," the singer-songwriter wrote.

"Midnights" broke Spotify's record for the most-streamed album in a single day when it debuted on Oct. 21.

"How did I get this lucky, having you guys out here doing something this mind blowing?!" Swift tweeted at the time. "Like what even just happened??!?!"

Seattle residents and tourists made history over the weekend, as 72,171 Taylor Swift fans were in attendance at Lumen Field Saturday night to watch The Eras Tour, the most ever in the venue’s history for a concert.

The concert on Saturday broke a record previously held by U2, which drew more than 70,000 fans in 2011. Lumen Field reps are still confirming the final attendance figures, but Swift was also the first artist to sell out Lumen Field on consecutive nights.

Swift added a few wrinkles to her setlist in Seattle, as she treated the crowd with a live version of “No Body, No Crime,” alongside opening act HAIM — who are also featured on the song off of Swift’s album “Evermore.” She also played acoustic versions of “This is Why We Can’t Have Nice Things” from her album “Reputation” and “Everything Has Changed” from her album “Red.”

Dave Brooks, Senior Director of Live Music and Touring for Billboard, estimated the cost of the tour is “well north of $100 million,” making it arguably the most expensive tour ever, boosting the economy in the process. The Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia announced in July that Taylor Swift’s tour helped boost travel and tourism in the region, a claim also made by several other U.S. cities.

According to Forbes , Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour is on track to bring in $1.4 billion, with Swift making approximately $110 million already. The first 22 performances (out of 131 total shows) grossed more than $300 million.

While attending the 49th American Film Institute Life Achievement Award Gala on Saturday, the teenage daughters of the actress and the singer – Sunday, 15, and Faith, 13, made their first red carpet appearance together with their parents at the event to honor their mom.

The sighting saw the "Big Little Lies" star donning a custom-fitted gold sequin gown by Balenciaga while she posed for pictures with her husband, daughters and her niece Sybella Hawley.

During the evening, Meryl Streep presented the achievement award to Kidman who received a standing ovation when accepting the honor, according to AFI .

"It is a privilege to make films," she said in her speech. "And glorious to have made films and television with these storytellers who allowed me to run wild and be free and play all of these unconventional women. Thank you for making me better at my craft and giving me a place, however temporary, in this world. Thank you for inviting me into your movie families. Thank you for my childhood dream that became a reality."

Kidman also mentioned her daughters and husband in her acceptance speech, per People , noting that she has had an "enormous amount of luck" in her life.

"There's also the most important thing, love," she said. "Big, big love. And then right there is the love of my life, and the loves of my life. My daughters have never been anywhere publicly with me on a red carpet, tonight was their first night, so they're here, Sunday and Faith."

Earlier this year, the "Bombshell" actress opened up about being a mother to two teenage daughters while speaking to Elle in March.

"I love teenage girls. I just find them exquisite," she told the magazine at the time. "I marvel at that age group and what they're dealing with, but also their ability to handle so much."

In addition to Sunday and Faith, Kidman is also a mom to two other children Bella and Connor whom she shares with ex-husband Tom Cruise.
