Details below, via BruceSpringsteen.net:

Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band have announced additional North American dates on their 2023 international tour in 18 cities, with newly-added shows beginning at Chicago’s Wrigley Field on August 9 and running through December 8 at San Francisco’s Chase Center. Multiple nights have been scheduled for Philadelphia’s Citizens Bank Park (August 16 and 18), New Jersey’s MetLife Stadium (August 30 and September 1), Toronto’s Scotiabank Arena (November 14 and 16) and Los Angeles’ Kia Forum (December 4 and 6). Tickets for the 22 added North American shows will go on sale over the course of the next two weeks, with the first onsale beginning this Friday February 19 at 10 am local time (full details below).

The 2023 international tour began February 1 in Tampa, Florida with Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band’s first North American show in seven years. Opening night featured a high-energy 28-song set which included rocking fan favorites like “Born To Run,” “Prove It All Night,” and “Wrecking Ball,” with The E Street Band effortlessly shifting to soul and R&B while complemented by a horn section and backing vocalists. Rolling Stone called the band’s return “ecstatic and emotional,” and SPIN added it was a “must-see.” USA Today said they “rocked like their lives depended on it” and the Associated Press noted the “energy was as high as ever…every song seemed epic.”

For many cities, the tour will be using Verified Fan via Ticketmaster. Verified Fan requires pre-registration at https://verifiedfan.ticketmaster.com/springsteen and is open through Sunday February 19 at 11:59 pm ET. Verified Fan is intended to make it easier for fans to get tickets, and harder for resellers and bots.

He’ll visit other major cities, including Washington, D.C., Baltimore, Maryland, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and San Francisco, California. He’ll host two-night stays in multiple cities including Citizens Bank in Philadelphia, MetLife Stadium in Springsteen’s native New Jersey, and the Kia Forum in Inglewood, California near Los Angeles. Tickets for the new dates will go on sale over the course of six days on February 17, 22, 23, 24, 27, and 28 at 10 a.m. local time. Visit Springsteen’s website for a full list of dates.

The tour officially kicked off on February 1 in Tampa, Florida, and will also take him to Europe with three dates in May, June, and July. The Boss is also offering live recordings from all shows on the tour for fans who can’t see them in person.

In November 2022, Springsteen released his 21st album, Only the Strong Survive, a cover of some of his favorite R&B and soul songs by the Commodores, Frankie Valli, Ben E. King, the Four Tops, and more. The album charted in multiple countries, hitting No. 8 on the Billboard 200 in the U.S. Springsteen’s voice can also be heard at the end of the upcoming film, She Came to Me , with the new song “ Addicted to Romance .” The film is set to debut at the Berlin Film Festival on February 16.

Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band's 2023 tour will be postponed until 2024, citing doctor's advice.

The Boss, who last week celebrated his 74th birthday, is "steadily recovering" from peptic ulcer disease, according to a statement posted on his official social media. "Out of an abundance of caution," the remainder of this year's tour has been pushed to next year.

Earlier this month, Springsteen announced that he would be postponing all of his September 2023 dates while he was treated for symptoms related to the disease, which causes ulcers to form in the stomach or small intestine that can cause heartburn, nausea and stomach pain.

The newly postponed shows include Canadian dates in Vancouver, Edmonton, Winnipeg, Calgary, Toronto, Ottawa and Montreal.

Rescheduled concerts will be announced this week and will take place at the original venues.

Springsteen says he's 'on the mend'

Peptic ulcer disease can be dangerous, leading to bleeding and emergency situations such as perforation of the ulcer through the stomach.

Typical treatment uses common drugs called proton pump inhibitors, such as Prilosec, which can help heal the ulcers within four to six weeks. People who are treated "recover completely from peptic ulcer disease," Dr. Lawrence Kosinski of the American Gastroenterological Association told the Associated Press.

  • After 48 years, Bruce Springsteen finally released the song that launched his career

"Thanks to all my friends and fans for your good wishes, encouragement, and support," Springsteen said in a short statement. "I'm on the mend and can't wait to see you all next year."

News of Springsteen's illness first emerged in May of this year, when he postponed three dates.

Springsteen's 2023 tour, his first in six years, kicked off on Feb. 1 in Tampa, Fla., before 20,000 fans who mostly stood through the 28-song arena show that included staples like Born to Run ,  Glory Days ,  Rosalita ,  Promised Land  and Backstreets .

A second round of North American dates — which will presumably include some Canadian shows — will kick off next August.

The 2023 gigs will mark Springsteen’s first tour since he and the E Street Band ended a 14-month trek to commemorate the 35th-anniversary of The River in 2017. After a successful stint on Broadway, the Boss reconvened with his longtime bandmates in 2019 releasing Letter to You the following year.

“After six years, I’m looking forward to seeing our great and loyal fans next year. And I’m looking forward to once again sharing the stage with the legendary E Street Band. See you out there, next year — and beyond,” Springsteen said in a statement.

During an appearance on SiriusXM’s E Street Radio in May, Springsteen spoke about his desire to hit the road again.

“It doesn’t feel that long” since the band last played live, he told host Jim Rotolo. “We’ve stayed busy over that time but still I have got the jones to play live very badly at this point, so I am deeply looking forward to getting out there in front of our fans.”

But in a 2014 interview with USA Today, the 72-year-old Springsteen said he realized there was a “finiteness” to his time on the road.

“I believe the band’s going to be playing for a great deal longer, all right, but not forever anymore, as you felt when you were 32 years old,” he said at the time. “You’re playing for an audience who will significantly outlive you now which is kind of both wonderful and bittersweet…”

Tickets for most U.S. shows go on sale July 17 via Ticketmaster’s Verified Fan program, which fans have to register for in advance.

The Boss doesn't plan to say farewell anytime soon.

On Friday, Aug. 23, Bruce Springsteen shut down retirement and farewell tour rumors during a gig at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia, when he reminded his crowd that the E Street Band has "been around for 50 f---ing years."

“We ain’t doing no farewell tour bulls---," Springsteen, 74, said in a clip shared to X (formerly Twitter) . "Jesus Christ. No farewell tour for the E Street Band!”

While speaking to the enthusiastic crowd, Springsteen smiled as he reiterated that his current world tour — next set to stop in Washington, D.C. at the top of September — isn't the last one fans will be seeing him on.

“Hell no… Farewell to what? Thousands of people screaming your name? Yeah, I wanna quit that,” Springsteen added. “That’s it. That’s all it takes. I ain’t goin’ anywhere.”

Guitarist Steven Van Zandt also shut down retirement talk during a conversation with The Telegraph last month, explaining that stepping back is not on the horizon for the E Street Band.

“I don’t see the end anywhere in sight, to be honest, especially in Europe, where we’re bigger than we’ve ever been," he said at the time. "I think we can play every summer for evermore, man.”

Springsteen's latest comments come amid tour date postponements earlier this year, when The Boss pushed back four European shows as part of his E Street Band 2024 World Tour due to “vocal issues.” That included performances in Marseille, Airport Letnany in Prague, Czech Republic, and San Siro Stadium in Milan.

The 20-time Grammy winner previously postponed several tour dates in September 2023  due to peptic ulcer disease .

Springsteen now has a string of dates set for the remainder of the year, and has even played a few surprise gigs here and there this summer — like when he showed up at a Zach Bryan this month to sing a duet of his 1982 song "Atlantic City" as well as their collaboration "Sandpaper" at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia.

After his Sept. 7 stop at the nation's capital, Springsteen will make his way to Baltimore, Asbury Park, Montreal, Toronto, Ottawa, Winnipeg, Calgary and beyond in the fall . He'll also be taking his talents to Milan, Prague and Marseille next summer to make up for lost time earlier this year.

Bruce Springsteen dispels farewell tour rumors: 'I ain't going anywhere'

"Farewell to what? Thousands of people screaming your name? Yeah, I wanna quit that," the rocker teased.

He’s tougher than the rest!

During a recent concert at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia, Bruce Springsteen took a moment to debunk ongoing rumors about his potential retirement plans and the possibility of a farewell tour.

“We’ve been around 50 f---ing years and we ain’t quitting!” The Boss declared in footage from the event shared on social media. “We ain’t doing no farewell tour bulls---! Jesus Christ! No farewell tour for the E Street Band!”

The 20-time Grammy winner could be seen smiling and laughing behind his microphone as he shot down the idea.

“Hell no… Farewell to what? Thousands of people screaming your name? Yeah, I wanna quit that,” Springsteen teased, putting his hand to his ear as the crowd cheered in response. “That’s it. That’s all it takes. I ain’t goin’ anywhere.”

The “Born in the USA” singer’s remarks come amid increased speculation from fans about the future of his career. In the last year alone, Springsteen has postponed several concerts due to health concerns, most recently rescheduling three European shows citing vocal issues in May.

Last fall, Springsteen also postponed all of his 2023 tour dates from September until the end of the year due to peptic ulcer disease. “Thanks to all my friends and fans for your good wishes, encouragement, and support,” he said in a statement at the time. “I’m on the mend and can't wait to see you all next year."

Springsteen and the E Street Band are next scheduled to take to the stage at Nationals Park in Washington, D.C., on Sept. 7. They will continue to perform throughout the U.S. and Canada through November, before returning to Europe to complete the postponed dates next summer.

Bruce Springsteen addresses farewell tour rumors after battling health issues

It's no secret Bruce Springsteen is getting older – he turns 75 in September – and with a slew of concert cancellations in the past several months, it's natural to wonder how much The Boss has left in the tank.

Springsteen addressed rumors about himself last week while playing two make-up shows in Philadelphia postponed from last summer. The rocker experienced a painful and debilitating peptic ulcer , only returning to the stage in March.

"We’ve been around 50 f---ing years. And we ain’t quitting," he told the crowd in a video shared to social media. "We ain’t doing no farewell tour bulls---! Jesus Christ! No farewell tour for the E Street Band!"

"Hell no! Farewell to what? Thousands of people screaming your name? Yeah, I want to quit that," he told the crowd sarcastically, which prompted fans to yell "Bruce" throughout the venue.

Springsteen soaked in the sound of his name for a moment, before saying, "That's it. That's all it takes. I ain’t going anywhere!"

Since the initial postponements last summer because of the peptic ulcer that made singing so painful he couldn't do it for months, health issues have continued to plague Springsteen.

The " Born in the U.S.A " singer had to postpone all concerts within a 10-day period per doctors' orders in May.

"Following yesterday's postponement in Marseille due to vocal issues, further examination and consulting has led doctors to determine that Bruce should not perform for the next ten days," a statement on his Instagram read.

"With this in mind, additional postponements are required for Airport Letnany in Prague (originally scheduled for May 28) and San Siro Stadium in Milan (originally scheduled for June 1 and 3). New dates for these shows will be announced shortly. Those wishing a refund will be able to obtain it at their original point of purchase. Bruce is recuperating comfortably, and he and the E Street Band look forward to resuming their hugely successful European stadium tour on June 12 in Madrid at the magnificent Civitas Metropolitan."

Springsteen is currently on his first major tour in six years.

His next scheduled performance – Sept. 7 – will be at Nationals Park in Washington, D.C.

Bruce springsteen denies farewell tour rumors: ‘i ain’t going anywhere’.

Memo from the Boss: “I ain’t going anywhere.”

That’s what New Jersey’s resident rock god, Bruce Springsteen , told the crowd at Philadelphia’s Citizens Bank Park during a concert on Friday night.

“We’ve been around 50 f—king years and we ain’t quitting!” said Springsteen, 74, dispelling rumors of a farewell tour with the E Street Band.

Bruce Springsteen

“We ain’t doing no farewell tour bulls—t! Jesus Christ! No farewell tour for the E Street Band !”

The rumors of a goodbye trek came after Springsteen was forced to postpone his tour with his beloved band last September due to peptic ulcer disease. After a six-month break, the world tour resumed in March, although he rescheduled three European shows in May due to “vocal issues.”

“Hell no … Farewell to what? Thousands of people screaming your name? Yeah, I wanna quit that,” said a smiling Springsteen, beckoning cheers from the audience by putting his hand to his ear: “That’s it. That’s all it takes. I ain’t goin’ anywhere.”

Springsteen’s tour continues at Nationals Park in Washington, DC on Sept. 7 before he headlines the See.Hear.Now Festival in his old stomping grounds of Asbury Park, NJ on Sept. 15. Then the Rock & Roll Hall of Famer will begin a string of Canadian dates in Montreal on Oct. 31.

When the “Born to Run” rocker hit the road with the E Street Band in February 2023, it marked their first North American tour since 2016. And they rocked the New York area at Madison Square Garden , Barclays Center, UBS Arena, Prudential Center and MetLife Stadium.

Nils Lofgren and Bruce Sprinsteen at Citizens Bank Park.

Fifty-one years after he released his debut album, 1973’s “Greetings from Asbury Park, N.J.,” and 40 years after he released his biggest LP, 1984’s “Born in the USA,” Springsteen’s career has been on fire again.

Last month his “Sandpaper” duet with Zach Bryan became his song ever to land on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart and earned him his first appearance on the overall Hot 100 tally since 2009.

Also in July, the recipient of 20 Grammys, an Oscar, a Kennedy Center Honor and a Presidential Medal of Freedom added another distinction to his legendary laurels: He became a certified billionaire , with Forbes “conservatively estimating” his worth at $1.1 billion.

Bruce Sprinsteen and Stevie Van Zandt at the PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Plus, Jeremy Allen White — the Emmy-winning star of the hit FX series “The Bear” — has been tapped to play the Boss in an upcoming biopic.

So it’s safe to say that Springsteen’s glory days are far from over.

Bruce Springsteen Slams Farewell Tour Rumors: ‘I Ain’t Going Anywhere’

Bruce Springsteen Sets the Record Straight on Farewell Tour Rumors

Bruce Springsteen has no interest in ending his music career and saying goodbye to the “Glory Days.”

“We’ve been around for 50 f–king years, and we ain’t quitting!” Springsteen, 74, said during his Friday, August 23, concert at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia. “We ain’t doing no farewell tour bulls–t! Jesus Christ! No farewell tour for the E Street Band!”

The Grammy winner continued to slam any and all speculation that he was hanging up his guitar as the crowd began to cheer his name.

“Farewell to what?” he asked. “A thousand people screaming your name? Get the hell out. I ain’t going anywhere!”

Springsteen’s declaration comes as the rocker and his band continue their 2024 world tour. In addition to 11 remaining shows in the United States and Canada this year, the group already has concerts scheduled for the summer of 2025 in Italy and France.

While guitarist Steven Van Zandt previously acknowledged that the group never knows exactly what the future entails, they all look forward to many more performances.

Bruce Springsteen Sets the Record Straight on Farewell Tour Rumors

“We treat every show like it could be the last show, and we’ve been doing that for 50 years,” he told The Telegraph in July. “But the audience is still there, and we can see them getting younger every year. I don’t see the end anywhere in sight, to be honest, especially in Europe, where we’re bigger than we’ve ever been. I think we can play every summer for evermore, man.”

Van Zandt, 73, looks no further than Mick Jagger and The Rolling Stones — who performed in 16 cities across the U.S. and Canada this summer — for proof that you can rock out as long as you’d like.

“I love that the Stones are still out there,” he said. “Because as long as they’re out there, man, we’re still the new kids on the block, right? So I’m good with that.”

Springsteen’s latest tour, however, has faced some hurdles. In May, the “Born in the U.S.A.” singer had to postpone four European tour dates citing “vocal issues.”

In addition, Springsteen was forced to postpone a significant chunk of his U.S. tour dates to recover from peptic ulcer disease in late 2023. The painful ulcers hindered Springsteen’s ability to sing from his diaphragm.

He was able to reschedule the shows in 2024 and deliver on his reputation of putting on high-energy performances that can last more than four hours.
