  • Book Tickets

This is the rescheduled event from November 2022.

Celebrating the Seasons with the Yorkshire Shepherdess. In this warm-hearted and informative show, Yorkshire Shepherdess Amanda Owen shares memorable moments and charming stories from her remarkable farming, family life in North Yorkshire. It's a life that has almost gone in today's modern world, one ruled by animals and the four seasons. We’ll hear how Amanda grew up in Huddersfield, but was inspired by James Herriot’s books to leave her town life behind and head to the countryside. After a period of milking cows and working as a contract shepherdess and alpaca shearer she eventually settled down in Swaledale, living and working in one of the highest and most remote places in England, where she has been for over 25 years.

Accompanied by some of Amanda's wonderful photography, we’ll experience the joys and challenges of remote farming life, from lambing and shearing in spring to haymaking in summer and feeding the 1000-strong flock in mid-winter. We’ll hear how she juggles life as a shepherdess and mother to nine children, with life as a best-selling author and her many TV appearances on shows such as The Dales, New Lives in the Wild, Springtime on the Farm and Our Yorkshire Farm . She'll also share some of her gorgeous photography showcasing the famous Swaledale landscape she writes about, with its sweeping moors, rare wildflowers and captivating wildlife. Warm, witty and filled with unforgettable characters,

Celebrating the Seasons  will delight anyone who has dreamt of a new life in the country and enjoyed following Amanda's story so far.

Tickets: £26 A £1.50 ticket levy is included in all stated ticket prices.

Our Yorkshire Farm fans will be delighted to know that Amanda Owen will be back on our screens tomorrow with her brand new show 'Amanda Owen’s Extraordinary Farming Lives' but this time over on Channel 4.

Fans of Our Yorkshire Farm fell in love with the beautiful Ravenseat back in 2018, when Channel 5 gave us all a glimpse into the life of a rural North Yorkshire farming family. The family's matriarch, Amanda Owen , quickly gathered a huge fan following, as viewers loved her no-nonsense approach to farming and parenting her nine kids.

Since then, lots has changed for Amanda and the family - not least Amanda's break-up with husband of 22 years, Clive Owen. But, despite the big changes, Amanda and the Owen family have remained close to the hearts of those that first fell in love with them four years ago.

And now The Yorkshire Shepherdess will be taking the lead in a brand new show over on More4 named Amanda Owen’s Extraordinary Farming Lives. In the new show, which airs tomorrow, Amanda will meet farmers from across the country to find out what life is like for them.

Here's everything we know so far about Amanda Owen's Extraordinary Farming Lives'

When does Amanda Owen's Extraordinary Farming Lives' air?

Amanda Owen’s first project since the cancellation of Our Yorkshire Farm is finally set to air later this month. After months of anticipation Channel 4 has now revealed that Amanda Owen's extraordinary Farming Lives will broadcast on Wednesday, January 25 at 9pm on More4.

How many episodes will there be?

The new series, will mark Amanda’s official departure from the family TV show, will consist of six episodes.

Each week, Amanda will visit a different farm, immersing herself in both their lives and their businesses for the week.

What is Amanda's new show about?

Amanda Owen's extraordinary Farming Lives will see the nation’s favourite shepherdess travel across the UK to lift the lid on what life on the farm is like for other families.

Fans are very aware of what like is like for the Owen clan at Ravenseat already, so now Amanda's new challenge is to give viewers an insight of what life is like for other farming families in the UK.

Over six episodes, viewers will see Amanda visit a variety of farms that have diversified to earn a living and faced many challenges while trying to run a successful business and make ends meet.

Previewing the series, Amanda said: “This series will show what life’s really like for farmers in 2022. To the outside world, it might seem like some farmers have it made, with large plots of land and expensive machinery but, as ever, the truth is much more complex.

“I want to explore just what it means to be a farmer today, in a world where so much more is expected of us than ‘just’ being food providers. Along the way I know I’m going to meet some extraordinary, dedicated people and hear some incredible stories in the most beautiful of settings.”

Watch Amanda Owen’s Farming Lives at 9pm on Wednesdays, starting 25th January.

Where is Amanda Owen now? The Our Yorkshire Farm Shepherdess

Amanda won't be appearing in the new series Beyond the Yorkshire Farm

A close up of Amanda Owen from Our Yorkshire Farm

Our Yorkshire Farm fans have been left wondering where is Amanda Owen now, after Channel 5 axes the show.

Amanda Owen, aka the Yorkshire Shepherdess, was a central figure on Our Yorkshire Farm , the Channel 5 fly-on-the-wall show that followed her, husband Clive and their nine children as they carried out daily duties on their remote farm.

But in November this year, Channel 5 revealed that Our Yorkshire Farm has been axed , before later revealing that Clive and son Reuben would be starring in their own spin-off show, Beyond the Yorkshire Farm: Reuben & Clive . After it was confirmed that Amanda would not be appearing on the show, fans have been asking where is Amanda Owen now?

Where is Amanda Owen now?

Amanda Owen is still living on Ravenseat Farm in Yorkshire, where Channel 5's Our Yorkshire Farm was filmed, and frequently shares updates from the family's farm on her social media.

Recently, Amanda announced the sad news that her sheepdog, Kate, had died, with a heartfelt post on Instagram on December 3. Over on her Twitter account, Amanda wrote on December 5: "A weekend of recounting dog stories. Looking back through a gallery that catalogues Kate’s life. We’ve laughed & cried. Unreal that only a week ago she was centre stage. Working quietly & then watching over children as they played. Kate, you rocked..& rolled. Rest now."

The Yorkshire Shepherdess was inundated with messages of sympathy from her 531,000 Instagram followers. One user wrote, "So sorry for your loss ❤️ Kate was such a loyal, hardworking and faithful friend. She definitely had a brilliant life with you all and loved what she did 🐑 Sending lots of love to you ❤️🐾", while another said, "The only family member you get to choose. 💔So so sorry for your loss."

What is Amanda Owen doing now?

Amanda Owen still works on Ravenseat Farm, though she will not be appearing in Channel 5's new spin off show Beyond The Yorkshire Farm: Reuben & Clive .

After Channel 5 announced Our Yorkshire Farm would not be returning, Amanda shared a post on Instagram with the caption "Another day, more **it 💩 to deal with. Good job it goes with the territory.😏" along with the hashtags #spreadingit #boring #mediahype and #nonstory.

However, Channel 5 has said that the network is working on new projects with Amanda. Daniel Pearl, commissioning editor for factual at Channel 5, said: "The Owens have become everyone’s favourite farming family and millions have enjoyed watching their unique way of life.

"It’s fantastic that we can now all follow Reuben and Clive on their next adventure.

"We remain absolutely committed to the whole wonderful Owen family and hope to announce new projects with Amanda very soon."

And although she will no longer be appearing on Our Yorkshire Farm , Amanda has been able to enjoy other jobs since the show ended. Back in July, she took part in The Guest Chef at Latitude Festival alongside Gary Lineker , Judi Love and Georgina Hayden.

The final host of The Guest Chef is the Yorkshire Shepherdess @AmandaOwen8! Amanda is in tune with nature & believes in bringing great quality, seasonal ingredients into her cooking - her hosting spot at #cinchxLatitude will be no different!Book here👉 https://t.co/rfC09x7fZE pic.twitter.com/j45ITcq9iy June 18, 2022

She said ahead of the live cooking show: "When I’m cooking for the family at home, I like to make the most of the wonderful seasonal ingredients that are readily available in the shops and won’t break the bank. Where our food comes from is equally important to me, so I’m excited that the meat element of my menu will be lamb, born and reared at Ravenseat."

Have Amanda and Clive Owen split up?

Amanda and Clive Owen announced their decision to separate back in June, after 22 years of marriage. Oh her Instagram story, Amanda revealed: "Clive and I are sad to confirm that we have made the difficult decision to separate."

She added: "This hasn't been easy, but we both believe it's the right choice for the future of our family. Although we are no longer a couple, we continue to work on the farm and co-parent together, with our number one priority the happiness and well-being of our children."

Amanda finished the statement by saying: "We would like to thank everyone for their support   and would ask that the media please respect our privacy as we work through this difficult time. Amanda & Clive Owen."

Clive Owne (left) and Amanda Owen (right) stood next to each other under an umbrella

Despite the split, however, both Amanda and Clive still live on Ravenseat Farm and run it together, along with their nine children.

When appearing on Lorraine earlier this year, Amanda said: "Life carries on on the farm. Obviously there is a whole raft of things to do – nine children, a whole heap of animals. We are just working away, same as before.

"Because at the end of the day our priority remains, of course, to keep everything going."

In an interview with The Telegraph , Amanda added: "Sometimes I'm there, sometimes he's there, sometimes he's working away, sometimes I'm working away. We just have to make it fit."

She also shared that the family still has meal times together, to keep things normal for the children.

Amanda had previously dismissed speculation that her and Clive's marriage was on the rocks during an interview with Lorraine Kelly back in 2021, telling viewers, "You have your difficult moments. But you have to take the rough with the smooth.

She went on to say, "You’ve got to remember, the bottom line is, if you are proud of what you’re doing, you kind of sort of have to shoulder it."

What is Beyond the Yorkshire Farm?

Beyond the Yorkshire Farm: Reuben & Clive is a new Channel 5 spin-off show that stars Amanda's husband Clive, their son Reuben and Reuben's girlfriend, Sarah. The first episode of the show aired on Tuesday 6 December at 9pm.

The show follows Reuben as he goes into business with his dad, Clive. 18-year-old Reuben was previously an apprentice in mechanical engineering, and now he and his dad have embarked on a digging business together, with their first job digging a series of pools in Cumbria.

Channel 5 posted a sneak preview on Twitter ahead of the first episode with the caption "A unique farm led to a unique childhood. Eldest son Reuben has now grown up and is looking to make it on his own."

Amanda Owen’s New Channel 4 Show Set To Air This Month

Amanda Owen’s New Channel 4 Show Set To Air This Month

Amanda Owen’s first project since the cancellation of Our Yorkshire Farm is finally set to air this month, and after months of anticipation, Channel 4 has finally revealed the show’s release date.

Airing on More 4 very, very, soon, Amanda Owen’s Farming Lives will see the nation’s favourite shepherdess travel across the UK to lift the lid on what life on the farm is like for other families.

Amanda Owen's Farming Lives More 4

Fans are very familiar with what the Owens’ life at Ravenseat is like already, and now, Amanda is set to take the fly-on-the-wall to other farms in the country, too.

The synopsis for the first episode, which airs Wednesday 25th January, reads: “The famous shepherdess visits farms across the country and immerses herself in the day-to-day lives of the farmers, starting in Shetland.

“Kirsty and Aimee own a coastal farm at the northernmost tip of the UK and welcome Amanda to come join them to learn what it’s like cattle farming in such an isolated setting and to give her a taste of Shetland fare”.

Viewers can expect stunning landscapes, unique lifestyles and an insight into rural farming work, while Amanda gets stuck in to learn more about the trials and tribulations other farmers face.

Amanda Owen's Farming Lives

Upon the show’s official announcement last October, Amanda said: “This series will show what life’s really like for farmers in 2022.

The series will consist of six episodes, and will mark Amanda’s official departure from the family TV show. Each week, Amanda will visit a different farm, immersing herself in both their lives and their businesses for the week.

Keen fans can still get their fix on Ravenseat, however, with Clive and Reuben’s show, Beyond The Yorkshire Farm – which is currently airing on Channel 5.

Watch Amanda Owen’s Farming Lives at 9pm on Wednesdays, starting 25th January.
