$4,750 for Taylor Swift: Here's how much Kansas City fans spent on the Eras Tour

A crowd of people line up on a parking lot at a trailer plastered with Taylor Swift images.

Taylor Swift fans are coming to Kansas City from across the Midwest to attend her two Eras Tour shows. VisitKC expects fans to spend about $46 million during the concert weekend. We asked Swifties exactly how much they spent for the experience of a lifetime — including tickets, hotels, outfits and even friendship bracelet supplies.

Fans have been waiting for Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour to come to Kansas City since November, when presale tickets went on sale and, famously, Ticketmaster crashed. I was one of those fans, spending about seven hours waiting anxiously in the queue, logging back in after the crash and trying (and failing) multiple times for tickets.

After waiting forever and always, I got out with tickets for me and two friends — about $187 with fees for nosebleed seats. But in a wild turn of events, my friends’ dad got them VIP seats in the lower bowl and included a ticket for me.

As a woman of the people, I sold my ticket for exactly my purchase price — only to find out my friends’ dad didn’t want me to pay him unless I made a profit. So I am attending my first ever Taylor Swift concert with a free ticket.

I’ve gone to many concerts, but this is the first that I feel requires a themed outfit, accessories and friendship bracelets to trade with other fans — and previous stops on the tour show most fans feel the same way. The exorbitant Ticketmaster wait times and fees, even more expensive resale tickets and creative ways Swifities put outfits together got me thinking about how much people spend to see Taylor Swift.

A woman sits at a table with her arms resting on it. She is smiling and looking at the camera with a water bottle in front of her with images of Taylor Swift.

Welcome to the Taylor Swift Money Diaries, where five people attending the Kansas City Eras tour dates have revealed exactly how much it cost.

Before we get into what they spent, I thought it was only right to be transparent about my costs:

Maggie Stoltenberg

Hands hold rings full of friendship bracelets, more than 225 in total

Where do you live? Lincoln, Nebraska What do you do for work? First-year teacher How old are you? 22 How long have you been a Swiftie? 17 years Favorite Album? " evermore" Favorite Song? "right where you left me" What do you hope the surprise songs are? "right where you left me," "Last Kiss" Concert total: $1,200 Outfit: $150 in total for two outfits Lodging and Transportation: Staying in a friend's apartment and then a hotel in St. Joseph, courtesy of her parents. She estimates she’ll spend about $50 for gas plus more for an Uber back from the concert Bracelets: $200 Ticket cost: $350 for Friday, $500 after upgrades for Saturday Number of Taylor Swift concerts before the Kansas City shows: Four, this will be her fifth and sixth Craziest expense: $200 in total for all friendship bracelet supplies

Stoltenberg has been a diehard Swiftie since she was a kid, when her mom would play "Taylor Swift" in the car on the way to school. She’s seen Swift on the "Red," "1989" and "Reputation" tours. For this one, Stoltenberg was sure to get tickets to both nights — she even upgraded her Saturday seats, which she’s attending with her mom, to move down from the nosebleeds.

Inspired by a lyric from “You’re On Your Own, Kid:” “Make the friendship bracelets, take the moment and taste it,” fans have been making and sharing friendship bracelets during the Eras tour.

Stoltenberg wanted to get in on the fun, initially planning to just make a couple dozen. She ended up making a bracelet for every single song — more than 225 bracelets made of embroidery floss with beads sewn in with a needle and thread.

“I'm kind of sad to see them go, but I'm really glad that I'll be giving them to Swifties because I know they'll appreciate it,” Stoltenberg said.

Stoltenberg has a different outfit for each of the nights. She’s hoping her purple "Speak Now" replica dress or sparkly fringe will help Swift notice her in the crowd.

Ahead of Taylor Swift's Eras Tour stops in Kansas City, artist Jeff Parson created cardboard portraits of Swift to display at his Riverside home.

Where do you live? Kansas City, Kansas What do you do for work? Student and multiple jobs How old are you? 23 How long have you been a Swiftie? 17 years Favorite Album? "Fearless" Favorite Song? "All You Had To Do Was Stay" What do you hope the surprise songs are? Back-to-back "Speak Now" songs on Friday and anything from "Fearless" Concert total: $4,750 Outfit: $200 for all the outfits and accessories Lodging and transportation: $1,500 for the other concerts she’s attended   Bracelets: $50 Ticket cost: $900 for both concerts this weekend, though she’s spent $3,000 total for the six Swift shows she’ll attend this year Number of Taylor Swift concerts before the Kansas City shows: Eight, including four this year alone. This weekend's shows will be her fifth and sixth from this tour and tenth overall Craziest expense: Ubers to and from shows

Karina, a SuperSwiftie who didn’t want us to use her last name, has been saving up for the Eras tour since 2018, after the "Reputation" tour (which she got a front row, barricade seat to). Karina has seen Swift on nearly all of her tours — this weekend will be her fifth and sixth time seeing Swift on the Eras tour alone. Karina’s also gone to shows in Glendale, Arizona; Nashville, Tennessee and Foxborough, Massachusetts.

“I had a separate savings account and I had a piggy bank that I was collecting cash and coins in,” Karina said. “Then the tour dates got announced, I cashed in the piggy bank and put it in my account. I've been working a full-time job and doing stuff like babysitting and tutoring — picking up side gigs has been helping to pay for my expensive hobby.”

Karina has found a community at Swift concerts and plans to get to the shows early this weekend to trade bracelets and meet new people. She says she gets her money’s worth at each show, no matter the seats she’s in.

Despite all of the travel and ticket expenses, Karina says her getaway cars to and from the concerts have been her most surprising expense. It’s harder to plan for Uber surge pricing than it is to buy an Eras ticket.

Four girls, including Taylor Swift, are in columns with their outfits for the Eras Tour

Morgan Shandler

Where do you live? Overland Park, Kansas What do you do for work? Public relations How old are you? 35 How long have you been a Swiftie? 17 years Favorite Album? "Lover" and "Red" Favorite Song? " All Too Well (10 Minute Version) (Taylor’s Version)" and "peace" What do you hope the surprise songs are? "Cornelia Street," Superman," "dorothea" or "Picture to Burn" Concert total: $770 Outfit: $150 Lodging and transportation: The to-be-determined cost of an Uber to and from the show Bracelets: $0 Ticket cost: $550 for a premium level ticket, after she sold her two $150 upper-level tickets for $350 each Number of Taylor Swift concerts before the Kansas City shows: Four, this will be her fifth Craziest expense: The tickets

Shandler got tickets through the Capitol One presale, but was only able to get two. Later, a friend with a Chiefs’ season ticket was able to get five premium tickets so her whole friend group could go.

She’s seen Swift on her "Fearless," "Red," "1989" and "Reputation" tours, but this time is a little different. This time, Shandler and her best friend (with whom she’s gone to almost every concert) have children.

“We're both moms and feel kind of grown up,” Shandler said. “I feel like there's nostalgia in some of the songs we listen to. We have memories of getting ready and going out in college listening to songs, and now I have memories of singing songs with my kids. A lot of the kind of more deep songs have impacted me in a different way now that I'm a mom.”

Being a mom is not stopping Shandler from having fun at the Eras show. She’ll don a sparkly, sequined outfit and body glitter, and bought blue gin and mixers ($70) to make Lavender Haze cocktails before the show.

A woman stands near a merchandise trailer holding a Taylor Swift poster. She is posing so someone can take her photo.

Annie Wells

Where do you live? Des Moines, Iowa What do you do for work? Corporate copywriter by day; slam poet by night How old are you? 24 How long have you been a Swiftie? 17 years Favorite Album? "Fearless (Taylor’s Version)" and "folklore" Favorite Song? "the lakes" and "Forever and Always" What do you hope the surprise songs are? Something from "Speak Now," "Better Than Revenge" Concert total: $528 (Wells only paid about $75, since her aunt gifted her the tickets and hotel) Outfit: $31 dress via Amazon, pack of two purple bows for $7 Lodging and transportation: $217 for a one-night stay at the Hilton downtown, plus about $30 for gas Bracelets: $35 Ticket cost: $273 Number of Taylor Swift concerts before the Kansas City shows: 0, this will be her first Craziest expense: Travel to and from the show

This will be Wells’ first Swift concert. Her aunt, who is also a Swiftie, bought her and her friend, Moira, tickets for her birthday.

Wells, who’s lived in Des Moines since going to Iowa State in 2017, tried the presale codes for Chicago, Minneapolis and Kansas City. After spending about seven hours in line with Ticketmaster, she managed to get lower bowl seats for her and Moira, who became a friend because of Taylor Swift.

“We do everything together,” Wells said. “She’s my best friend and she loves Taylor Swift as well.”

Friday will be their first Taylor Swift concert, which they prepared for by doing a “Speak Now” road trip: The pair drove down one road while listening to the album, re-released on Friday, and turned around during the halfway song. In total, they drove about 40 miles in the time it took to listen to the 67-minute album.

Lines of people stand in a parking lot moving through cordoned off lanes. In foreground are two woman talking to each other.

Shannon Rolle

Where do you live? North Kansas City What do you do for work? Brand manager at Russell Stover Chocolates by day, trivia host by night How old are you? 33 How long have you been a Swiftie? 17 years Favorite Album? "evermore" Favorite Song? " Bad Blood" What do you hope the surprise songs are? "Cornelia Street" and "Long Live" Concert total: $370 Outfit: $150 Lodging and transportation: Approximately $50 for Arrowhead parking Bracelets: $40 Ticket cost: $130 Number of Taylor Swift concerts before the Kansas City shows: 1, this will be her second Craziest expense: She expects it’ll be merchandise or tickets

I caught up with Rolle while she was in the merch line Thursday morning. She and her friends got tickets after waiting more than nine hours in the Ticketmaster queue. The friend who bought the tickets wasn’t a huge fan of Swift’s originally, but after waiting in the ticket line, Rolle had her listen to the songs that converted her to a full-fledged Swiftie.

Rolle saw Swift in 2015 at her "1989" tour in Kansas City. The experience was one of the factors that convinced her to move to Kansas City. She expects this show to be just as life-changing.

“I'm really looking forward to seeing her live again and feeling the energy of the crowd,” she said. “Everybody is just so excited and happy and I know the concert's beautiful and incredible, so I'm just excited for this once-in-a-lifetime experience with my Swiftie friend who is now Swiftie.”

Rolle also hosts trivia at Bar K on Wednesdays. She hosted a Taylor Swift-themed trivia night packed with more than 60 teams and shared friendship bracelets with attendees there. She estimates she has about 30 left to trade at the show.

Important information for buying tickets during the TaylorSwiftTix Presale powered by Verified Fan:

Our goal is to maximize the number of fans who have an opportunity to shop.

The link in your text will direct you to the show you were selected for — either a show that was available during registration or a show that was announced after registration closed.

If you were selected for a show available during registration, your code will enable you to shop  that  show  or any show in the same city  that was announced after registration closed. (You will not be able to shop a different show that was available during registration).

If you were selected for a show announced after registration closed — i.e., the link in your text directs you to one of those shows — your code is good for that show. We recommend you use the code for that show as it will have the greatest availability for you. If you choose, you can use your code instead for the show you prioritized first during registration; however, we expect demand for that show to be higher and your wait to be longer.

Remember, each code only allows you to purchase 6 tickets.

Weather

It may not be Teardrops On Her Guitar , but a few raindrops when Taylor Swift takes the stage Friday night at Arrowhead Stadium.

Scattered showers could be in the general area. The showers are not expected to turn into a steady midnight rain later Friday night. Any rain that falls is not expected to be heavy, you'll be able to Shake It Off.

Temperatures will be in the 70s to around 80 for the opening act.

There is still a rain chance Saturday, but it is mostly farther south of Kansas City and during the first part of the day.

There may even be some clearing in time for a pretty sunset and perhaps a bit of Lavender Haze .

Evening temperatures will be in the 70s.

Parking tickets must be purchased in advance, according to the stadium. The tickets currently cost $47 per vehicle.

Fans can Tay-gate at the Truman Sports Complex, but only for those with tickets to the concert. Those without a ticket will not be permitted into the lot.

The stadium warns guests may not remain in the lots or outside the stadium once Taylor Swift has taken the stage. If you do not have a ticket, you will be asked to leave the Truman Sports Complex.

If you are using a rideshare app for your Getaway Car , the stadium advises of drop-off and pick-up locations for fans.

"Rideshare and drop-off vehicles should enter Gate 2 off of Blue Ridge Cutoff and follow signage and staff directions to drop off passengers in Lot J. Following drop-off, those vehicles will exit the Truman Sports Complex via Gate 7," the stadium said.

Pick-up vehicles can begin staging in Lot J beginning at 9 p.m.

How to buy Taylor Swift tickets: Eras Tour dates and prices compared

When you buy through our links, Business Insider may earn an affiliate commission. Learn more

Taylor Swift's reign continues with the latest leg of The Eras Tour. The singer-songwriter kicked off the European portion of her world tour in Paris in May, which will continue throughout the summer. From there, she'll return to North America to tour Canada and a few remaining US cities in the fall. If you're hoping to attend, we've compiled all of the details of The Eras Tour, including how to get Taylor Swift tour tickets.

Swift's Eras Tour has taken the world by storm since March 2023. The three-plus-hour tour features hits from each of Swift's album eras, from "Lover" to her Grammy Award-winning "Midnights." Each show also features surprise songs and occasional guests, so fans never quite know what they're in for. Swift released her latest album, "The Tortured Poets Department," in April, and the Swiftie hype has continued throughout the summer.

Getting tickets has become its own battle and many fans have waited hours in the Ticketmaster queue to hopefully snag some seats, if they could get a presale ticket code in the first place. While Swift continues to extend the tour, including new US dates, tickets remain hard to come by.

Below, we've put together a guide on everything to know about The Eras Tour, including the tour schedule, ticket purchasing details, resale ticket prices, and the concert film streaming options. You can also peruse resale vendors like StubHub and Vivid Seats at your leisure.

Taylor Swift international tour dates

The Eras Tour international dates resumed on May 9 in Paris. The European tour will run until August 20 in London. UK prices are listed in pounds, and start times vary from city to city. Multiple shows have age restrictions for younger kids and specifics on seating and adult accompaniment. A few venues require that a ticketholder's ID matches the name on the tickets, and others have varying policies on resale. US dates start in October and can be found under the following table.

Taylor Swift North American tour dates

The Eras tour will return to the US on October 18 in Miami. In addition to the Miami shows Swift will perform multiple dates in New Orleans and Indianapolis. On November 14, Swift will head to Canada for several shows in Toronto and Vancouver. All North American shows start at 7 p.m. local time.

How to buy tickets for Taylor Swift's 2024 tour

Original standard tickets for Taylor Swift's 2024 sold out long ago for both international and domestic dates. All US tickets and many international tickets were sold through Ticketmaster , although select international locations used different services.

Tickets for most dates are available on resale websites like StubHub and Vivid Seats . These are generally higher-priced than the originals, which are no longer available. Keep in mind that some countries have rules regarding reselling tickets.

On StubHub, UK tour dates come with a note that ticket terms don't permit resale through unauthorized channels and might not be valid for entry. If this ends up being the case, StubHub notes that its FanProtect Guarantee will cover purchasers.

How much are Taylor Swift tickets?

Ticket prices vary by date and location. International resale tickets tend to be a bit cheaper than US resale tickets. Some of the cheapest tickets have restricted views.

StubHub's cheapest remaining European listings range from £524 (London, England on August 15) to £616 (London, England on August 17). In USD, this equates to about $669 and $786. On Vivid Seats, the cheapest listings for these dates go for $508 and $569, respectively. Prices on both platforms have dropped significantly for the final UK dates.

When it comes to North American shows, the cheapest StubHub tickets range from $1,637 (Toronto, Canada, on November 23) to $2,691 (Indianapolis, Indiana, on November 2). Most of the cheapest tickets are priced between $1,600 and $2,300. On Vivid Seats, the cheapest Taylor Swift tickets on these dates start at $1,787 and $2,451, respectively. The two resale vendors generally have similarly priced offerings, but this varies from show to show.

Who is opening for Taylor Swift's tour?

Taylor Swift has a variety of opening acts, from up-and-coming singers to established groups. Opening acts vary by date. For the European leg of the tour, Paramore is opening for Swift. In the US and Canada, Gracie Abrams will be the opening act. Earlier in the tour, Swift had Sabrina Carpenter, Phoebe Bridgers, MUNA, HAIM, and more open for her.

Will Taylor Swift add more dates to the Eras Tour?

Taylor Swift has already added additional stops to her tour due to popular demand, including her US tour dates this fall. She also added additional dates to some of her European city stops, including bonus performances in France and the United Kingdom, among other locations.

During her 100th show, a mid-June performance in Liverpool, Swift acknowledged that the tour would conclude in December. "The celebration of the 100th show for me means this is the very first time I've ever acknowledged to myself and admitted that this tour is going to end in December," Swift told the crowd in a moment that was widely captured and posted across social media. This statement means that the Eras Tour is unlikely to extend past 2024, but we'll keep this guide updated if Swift announces any changes (or additions) to her tour lineup.

Were any tour dates canceled?

Taylor Swift was originally scheduled to play three Eras Tour shows from August 9 to 11, 2024, in Vienna, Austria. However, the shows were canceled after Austrian officials confirmed that multiple individuals were  arrested on suspicion of planning an attack  at one of the shows. As of August 12, no other Eras Tours performances have been canceled.

Is The Tortured Poets Department a part of the Eras Tour?

It's good news for fans of "The Tortured Poets Department," Swift's new album that dropped on April 19, 2024. Swift is incorporating several of the new tracks into the Eras Tour, as evidenced by the first shows of her European leg. "The Tortured Poets Department" songs currently featured on tour include "But Daddy I Love Him," "So High School," "Down Bad," "Fortnight," "Who's Afraid of Little Old Me?," "The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived," and "I Can Do It With a Broken Heart."

Since the Eras Tour is already pretty long, this means that Swift is also cutting down a few songs from past Eras that previously made the tour setlist. The songs that were removed from the setlist include "The Archer," "Long Live," "The 1," "The Last Great American Dynasty," "'Tis the Damn Season," and "Tolerate It."

Where can I stream The Eras Tour concert film?

If you'd rather watch The Eras Tour from home, you could always stream it on Disney+. Check out everything you need to know about streaming The Eras Tour concert film in our guide .

Note: Certain services and regions prohibit the resale of tickets. Business Insider does not endorse or condone the illegal reselling of tickets, and entry into an event is at the venue's discretion.

This opportunity is only available for those who purchased these specific VIP packages. VIP check in is located at Arrowhead Stadium's Founder's Plaza in the East and West gates. Check in opens at 3:30 and closes at 4 pm. According to the email, if you don't check in by 4 pm you lose the right to gain early access to the venue and merchandise. It should be noted that once you check into the building, you are not allowed to exit and then reenter the building.

St. Joseph, MO; Taylor Swift is bringing her Eras tour to Kansas City this weekend on Friday, July 7th and Saturday, July 8th.

With the concerts just days away, a local shop in downtown St. Joseph, Narrative Home is getting in on the Eras Tour hype with their own line of Eras tour merchandise.

Arrowhead Taylor Swift Eras Night 1

The concert is said to be around three hours long not including the opening performances by the band MUNA and singer songwriter Gracie Abrams.

Arrowhead Taylor Swift Eras Night 2

The concerts will be performed back-to-back nights at GEHA Feild in Arrowhead Stadium.

Many fans of Taylor Swift, called Swifties, who were unable to get tickets due to the Ticketmaster fiasco of 2022 have resulted to either paying exceedingly high prices from third party sites such as Vivid Seats and Stub Hub, or trading tickets in Facebook groups dedicated to Taylor Swift using PayPal Goods and Services.

Ticketmaster Taylor Swift Debacle

Neither of these methods has been entirely successful, ending with some fans being scammed by those claiming to be fellow fans or third-party sites selling the tickets out from under those who have already purchased.

A lot of fans have had a frustrating few months that will lead to the culmination of a concert experience that some are paying thousands of dollars to see.

Vivid Seats Taylor Swift Night One Tickets

Arrowhead Stadium has put a lot of policies into place to ensure safety at the concerts including: a clear bag policy, no entry into the parking lot without the proof of both a parking pass and concert tickets, as well as an alcohol policy which states that no alcohol will be sold after 11:00 pm.

A lot of fans have expressed worry over the lines at the merchandising truck and these fears are backed up by the fact that in some of the early Eras tour shows, the lines for the merchandising truck started overnight.

Lines for Merchandise

Some of the tour merchandise can be found online at www.taylorswift.com but other items like the Eras tour water bottle, tapestry, three-quarter grey zip up, and blue crew neck can only be purchased at the merchandising truck.

Here’s How to Get Taylor Swift Eras Tour Tickets (Even if They’ve Sold Out)

If you purchase an independently reviewed product or service through a link on our website, Rolling Stone may receive an affiliate commission.

Taylor Swift ‘s Eras Tour might be ending later this year, but it’s already become the most successful tour in history, grossing over $1 billion in ticket sales — and, of course, selling out immediately.

“A lot of you are like, ‘How are you going to celebrate the 100th show?’” Swift recently said at her Liverpool show, later referencing the official end of the Eras Tour later this year. “And for me, the celebration of the 100th show for me means this is the very first time I’ve ever acknowledged to myself and admitted that this tour is going to end in December, like that’s it. And that feels like so far away from now, but then again, it feels like we just played our first show on this tour, because you have made this so much fun for us.”

So far in 2024, the Eras Tour has seen appearances from everyone from Swift’s boyfriend Travis Kelce during The Tortured Poets Department section of show, to the debut of Swift’s duet with Gracie Abrams of “Us,” from the singer-songwriter’s new album.

Swift previously delighted fans when she released her Grammy-winning album Midnights and announced a new tour in 2022. But Swifties weren’t feeling happy right after tickets initially went on sale, as overwhelming demand for Swift tickets caused Ticketmaster to cancel its public on-sale and prices to soar.

While Ticketmaster was initially the official selling partner for Taylor Swift Eras Tour tickets , thousands of fans were previously left out of luck before the verified presale by Ticketmaster even ended. Fans had to sign up for the presale and be “invited” for a chance to buy tickets. And while the intention was good — no competing with bots for the best seats — few people actually got the chance to place an order.

And while Swift’s run of U.S. dates initially were scheduled to wrap up in Los Angeles — just as August 2023 started to already slip away — the star announced that the Eras Tour would make a comeback in 2024, with a slew of North American dates scheduled in Miami, New Orleans, and Indianapolis, before heading to Toronto for six dates at the Rogers Centre with Gracie Abrams.

“Turns out it’s NOT the end of an era 😝 Miami, New Orleans, Indy and Toronto: The Eras Tour is coming to you in 2024 with @gracieabrams!” Swift shared in a post on social media August 3, 2023.

If you didn’t get lucky enough to buy Taylor Swift tickets the first time around, here’s where else you might find sold-out Eras Tour stubs online.

Where to Buy Taylor Swift Tickets Online

Your best bet to find Swift tickets online now is likely to go through a reseller if you don’t get them through Ticketmaster ‘s Verified Fan registration and Verified Fan Onsale, with many of them offering discounts or promo codes that you can use for Taylor tickets.

Our suggestion: Do a little price comparison between the sites to find the cheapest Taylor Swift tickets online, and check back closer to the concert date in case ticket holders are trying to unload their seats — that’s when you’ll likely get the cheapest tickets online.

1. Find Taylor Swift Tickets on StubHub

Taylor Swift tickets on StubHub currently are on sale for as low as $311 for her Fourth of July show in Amsterdam, and as much as $2,440 for the Miami show on October 18. While there isn’t an active StubHub promo online right now, the site does have one of the best policies in case Swift has to cancel one of her shows. If an event is canceled, the site will give you a StubHub credit for 120% of the amount you paid.

2. Find Taylor Swift Tickets on Vivid Seats

Tickets on Vivid Seats currently start around the $2,100 mark for 300-level seats for Swift’s Miami dates, with cheaper tickets available for dates outside of the U.S. (like, $275 USD for Amsterdam dates). Use our exclusive  Rolling Stone  promo code  RS2024  at checkout to save $20 off your $200+ order through the mobile app. Vivid Seats also has a rewards program that lets you buy 10 tickets and get the 11th ticket free.

3. Find Taylor Swift Tickets on TicketNetwork

You might not be able to find Taylor Swift tickets on Ticketmaster, but we spotted great seats available on TicketNetwork.com . The resale site has seats from $1,129 online for her upcoming Dublin show, which is not cheap but still one of the lowest prices we’re seeing for the Ireland dates. TicketNetwork also works with Affirm, so you can buy your tickets now and pay over time. Want a Taylor Swift discount code? You can use TicketNetwork ‘s promo code RS150 saves you $150 off your order of $500, or RS300 for a $300 discount on a $1,000 order.

4. Find Taylor Swift Tickets on SeatGeek

We spotted many Taylor Swift tickets on SeatGeek as of this writing, and the site is usually a solid bet for resale tickets to popular concerts and events. Use the SeatGeek promo code ROLLINGSTONE10 to get $10 off your $250+ ticket purchase. It’s not a huge discount but still a chance to get save on Taylor tix. SeatGeek will also often offer other promo codes, if you’re looking for discounted Taylor Swift tickets, so we recommend keeping an eye out on their site.

5. Find Taylor Swift Tickets on Gametime

Another trustworthy resale site you can look for Eras Tour tickets is Gametime . Of course, Taylor Swift ticket prices can change at any time, but right now, the cheapest tickets for the Miami opener this October Swifties will find on the site start around $2,153 per ticket. Sometimes Gametime will offer a deal or promotion on tickets, so keep an eye out for discounted tickets on the site’s sidebar for flash deals.

6. Find Taylor Swift Tickets on Viagogo

The most affordable tickets we spotted for Swift’s Miami dates on resale site Viagogo start around $2,267 per ticket, which gets you a seat in the 300-level area of the Hard Rock Stadium. We like shopping for tickets on Viagogo because you can see what your view will be before buying the tickets on its site. But as most Swifties have discovered, there’s really no bad seat for the Eras Tour.

7. Find Taylor Swift Tickets on TicketLiquidator

Resale site TicketLiquidator has several available tickets to the upcoming Eras Tour dates. We spotted tickets for the opening night in Miami this October starting at $3,500+ for the 300-level section, and going up to as much as $7,500 for floor seats.

(Note: All of these promo codes were live and verified at time of this article’s publishing.)

What Stage Setup Can You Expect at the Eras Tour?

If you’re stumped on which tickets to get, checking out the stage layout is pretty helpful, and super easy to find while you’re purchasing tickets. While each stage layout may differ slightly depending on the stadium, it looks like all will have a main stage, a walkway leading to a diamond-shaped smaller stage, and finally, a ramp leading to a rectangular mini-stage (see below for an example). Obviously, Eras Tour tickets surrounding the main stage will be the priciest but you might find some decent prices next to the secondary stages.

For Pete’s Sake

Taylor swift wraps up european leg of tour. will she head to chiefs game or dnc.

The memes began shortly after Taylor Swift wrapped up the European leg of her Eras Tour in London on Tuesday.

Swift’s fans were certain she would be headed to Kansas City to see her boyfriend, Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce. Others envisioned Kelce making an airport run.

Here are a couple of examples.

Swift now begins a well-deserved break as the Eras Tour won’t start up again until Oct. 18. As one of the most famous people in the world, Swift’s every move is closely watched.

Fans are wondering what Swift will do next and many believe there are two likely destinations: Kansas City or Chicago. Here’s why those two cities are on the minds of her fans.

Kansas City

Chiefs coach Andy Reid said this week he’ll likely keep his starters out of Thursday’s preseason game against the Chicago Bears at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium.

It would be a full-circle moment of sorts if Swift decided to attend the game, even if Kelce doesn’t play. Her first game at GEHA Field at Arrowhead was last September, when the Chiefs played host to the Bears.

Swift reportedly is planning to spend much of her current break in Kansas City with Kelce. One outlet reported she is “looking forward to the simple joys of being together.”

While Kelce won’t play against the Bears, he’ll be on the sideline, so it would make sense for Swift to watch from her usual spot in an Arrowhead suite.

The “Brads, dads and Chads” might not like it, but the TV cameras would certainly be focused on Swift’s return to KC.

While Swift still has Eras Tour dates scheduled later this year in the United States and Canada, she would have time to be at 14 regular-season games . That would include the Sept. 5 NFL Kickoff Game against the Baltimore Ravens at Arrowhead Stadium.

The Chiefs will raise their Super Bowl LVIII banner that night ... and Swift wouldn’t want to miss that, right?

The Democratic National Convention hadn’t even begun Monday when CNN began reporting about speculation — wishful thinking? — among delegates that Swift could show up to support Kamala Harris’ bid to become the next president of the U.S. (Swift endorsed Harris for vice-president in 2020).

“Rumors are swirling, big-time, that two of the biggest names in music, Beyoncé and Taylor Swift ... might make appearances,” CNN’s Sara Sidner said in a report about which A-list celebrities were expected at the convention.

Here’s me, dreaming that Taylor Swift shows up to the DNC on Thursday:) — Seashell404 (@Michrf56061041R) August 21, 2024
All I want for the DNC is for Taylor Swift to show up, play a song, and dedicate it to childless cat ladies. — David Roberts (@drvolts) August 19, 2024
All I’m saying is even if Beyoncé and Taylor Swift don’t pop up at the DNC, their songs playing at the event is pretty indicative of where they stand regardless of showing face. — Rebecca Welch (@RebeccaLWelch) August 21, 2024
That would be epic. But, I think Taylor Swift holding off her endorsement until after labor day would be better. Let the DNC do it's thing and energize the country, and wait until all the kids are back in school. Then do it. — Trump Crime Family #BoycottTesla (@FASTMOVER1) August 20, 2024
How awesome would it be if Taylor Swift and Beyonce show up at the DNC this week? pic.twitter.com/sysKixzevz — Just Elizabeth Again (@SylnaZhinka) August 18, 2024

Besides celebrities hosting the DNC — “Scandal” star Kerry Washington will preside Thursday on Harris’ big night — and those in the arena, John Legend and others are performing at parties around Chicago.

Beyoncé has implicitly backed Harris by giving her camp permission to use the anthem “Freedom,” from her 2016 album “Lemonade,” in the campaign. It was featured in Harris’ first ad and is used as her walk-out song at rallies.

Like Swift, Beyoncé endorsed Biden-Harris in 2020.

Neither has publicly endorsed Harris this time around ... yet. But Swift’s fans didn’t wait for an endorsement in forming their own “Swifties for Harris” groups online just hours after the vice-president became the top of the ticket. A grassroots Swifties for Harris group on X, not affiliated with Swift, has more than 64,000 members.

Trump angered many Swift fans with a recent Truth Social post of a fake endorsement showing an AI-generated depiction of Swift, dressed as Uncle Sam, with the phrase, “Taylor wants you to vote for Donald Trump.”

“I accept,” Trump wrote.

Swift’s management has not said anything publicly about the post, though fans online said they want the singer to sue Trump for using her image that way.

Other photos in the post showed Trump supporters wearing “Swifties for Trump” T-shirts.

In a statement to CNN , one of those supporters said that “of all the millions of Taylor Swift fans, of course there will be many who support Trump and conservative values and also love her music. We exist. We are real.”

Swift doesn’t have to show up at Chicago’s United Center for her presence to be felt.

Delegates are wearing and trading Swift-inspired friendship bracelets. And on Tuesday, Swift’s hit song “Shake It Off” was played during a unique musical roll call.
