Global superstars THE CHICKS are thrilled to announce their return to Australia as part of their World Tour in October 2023. 

Following their sold-out 2017 tour, including a spectacular headline slot at CMC Rocks QLD, THE CHICKS make their triumphant return to Antipodean shores for the first time in six years. 

With special guest ELLE KING joining THE CHICKS on all Australia and New Zealand dates, these shows will be an exhilarating live experience for all music lovers. Breaking through with her debut album Love Stuff (2015), four-time Grammy nominee King has achieved multiple US Platinum singles, with her global hit Ex’s & Oh’s chalking up 2x Platinum in Australia. 

The captivating trio will play multiple dates down under, including  THE CHICKS’ A Day On The Green  debut, with three very special outdoor shows – Mt Duneed Estate, Geelong, VIC, Bimbadgen, Hunter Valley, NSW and Sirromet Wines, Mount Cotton, QLD.

The Chicks shows in Australia will go on sale to the general public on Monday 8 May 2023 @ 11 am (AEST).  Tickets are on sale via Ticketmaster.com.au.

Log into your Ticketmaster account and update your password if needed!

Get in early and ensure all your MyTicketmaster account details are up to date – from your password to your card details and your phone number.

Ticketmaster will regularly ask you to update your password to ensure the security of your account – you don’t want to get stuck having to change your password while the ticket timer is counting down during onsale as you can risk losing the incredible tickets you have secured.

Instead, now that you know you want to purchase tickets, log into your account and update your password today to ensure you are ready to nab those tickets.

Get to know Ticketmaster’s Smart Queue

If you aren’t familiar with  Smart Queue , it is Ticketmaster’s way of creating a clear and fair process for thousands of fans to buy tickets in a short space of time. Fans enter the virtual  Waiting Room  prior to onsale time before joining the  Smart Queue  – which acts as a ‘virtual line’, helping us protect you and your tickets in a more effective way.

3. Tap ‘Transfer’ below the ticket you want to share (please note: you may have to wait a moment for the ‘Transfer’ button to load)

4. On the ‘Select Tickets To Transfer’ page, confirm the ticket you want to share (please note – you must Transfer each ticket individually)

5. Tap the ‘Transfer To’ button. Tap ‘Manually Enter A Recipient’ & enter your friend’s ‘First Name’, ‘Last Name’, and ‘Email Address or Mobile Number’

How many The Chicks tour tickets can I buy?

There is a ticket limit of 6 (six) tickets per customer for the My Ticketmaster Presale.

There is a ticket limit of 10 (ten) tickets per customer for the General Public Onsale.

Are there any age restrictions in place for The Chicks?

Mt Duneed, Bimbadgen and Sirromet Wines are all Licensed All Ages venues. Under 18 patrons must be accompanied at all times by a responsible adult. Children under 12 years may enter the General Admission Lawn for free but require a paid ticket for reserved seating. All patrons over 12 years must hold a valid ticket.

How do I purchase Accessible Seating tickets?

We’ve updated our seating framework to include a larger range of accessible seating options for stadiums. There will be an option for every price level and every package available, including General Admission.

Accessible seats (including Companion Cards) can be purchased by calling our Customer Service team on the Accessible Bookings line:  1300 446 925 . This phone number is reserved for patrons with accessibility requirements and companion cardholders and can not process any other ticketing requests. Our phone lines operate between the hours of 9 am – 5 pm (AEST) Monday to Sunday.

Accessible seating, both during presales and the general public sale period, can also be requested via our  Accessible Booking form . Please be sure to include your relevant presale code with your request if wanting to make a booking during the presale period.

Hints and tips for improving your chances of getting The Chicks tickets

Make sure you have a my ticketmaster account.

Get the basics covered before tickets go on sale by logging in and checking your Ticketmaster account ahead of time. If you don’t have a Ticketmaster Account then make sure you sign up in advance –  Ticketmaster.com.au .

Sign into your My Ticketmaster account ahead of time

Remember to triple check your passwords, account information, and billing information are all filled in correctly in advance, that way you’re not facing any last-minute account updates when trying to process your order.

Keep your options open with ‘Best Available’

Save time by searching “Best Available,” which scans all sections fast – it’s quicker than searching sections one at a time.

Keep an eye on the clock

There will be a time limit applied to all transactions as you are progressed through the ticket purchasing stages. Remember to keep an eye on the timer on your screen and move through the processing pages as quickly as possible (this is even easier when you’ve completed the account set-up stage we mentioned above).

Don’t refresh your screen

Stick to one window while you’re in the  Waiting Room  and when you’re being pushed through  the Smart Queue  and always resist the urge to refresh.

Hitting the refresh button means you’ll lose your place in the queue and, as frustrating as it can get, patience is the only way to win this game. Ticketmaster is equipped with sophisticated systems that are designed to manage and process ticket purchases as quickly as possible. The queuing system that appears on your screen will place you at the front of the line as soon as possible.

Remember: there are a lot of fans

We’re expecting this to be a very popular event. When a popular event goes on sale there are hundreds, and sometimes thousands, of customers all attempting to purchase tickets at the same time. Venue entry conditions: covid-19.

Roundhouse Entertainment is fully committed to providing patrons with a COVID Safe event and works closely with the Government and Health Authorities to ensure this. All our events will run under the state specific public event guidelines and requirements. These requirements may include, but not be limited to, proof of vaccination, QR code check-in, social distancing, mask wearing and/or other measures. While our team are doing everything possible to ensure patron safety and an enjoyable event, due to the ever-evolving nature of the pandemic, some restrictions may come into play at the last minute. As such, we recommend you keep up to date with Government and Health Authority advice and agree to follow Event policies determined by that advice and the on-site COVID safe measures and instructions while at the Event.

What can I bring?

• Seats are provided in the Silver, Gold, Diamond Reserved seating & Concert and Dining areas. You are permitted to bring a supermarket sized cooler bag into this area (must fit under the chair).
• General Admission Lawn - BYO standard sized camping chair (back of chair no higher than 100cm). You are permitted to bring a supermarket sized cooler bag into this area. At Kings Park only - Low-to-the-ground beach style chairs are recommended in the General Admission area. High back (deck/camping) chairs are permitted, however will be positioned at the rear of the venue.
• Small cheese platters (wooden or plastic up to 40x20cm in size) are permitted in the General Admission Lawn/Rear area only. Cheese boards are not permitted in the Reserved Seating or Front General Admission areas.
• Card and cash payments are accepted throughout the venue.
• Sealed plastic bottled water (still or sparkling) up to 1.5L in size. Empty translucent plastic bottles can be brought into the venue to use at our free water stations (no stainless steel bottles or cups permitted).
• There is a wide selection of food available for purchase.
• Event sites are in wineries, which have some sloped and uneven areas. Wear appropriate footwear for outdoor conditions.
• If the forecast is for rain please bring suitable shoes, a poncho or raincoat.
• Bring sunscreen and a hat! Please note: there are no sheltered areas - come prepared for rain or shine.
• For sunny days make sure you wear a wide brimmed hat for protection and bring plenty of sunscreen with you.

What are prohibited items?

• ALL drinks are prohibited with the exception of sealed clear plastic bottled still or sparkling water up to 1.5L in size. a day on the green is a licensed event, alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks are available for purchase at all venues . Empty translucent plastic bottles can be brought into the venue to use at our free water stations.
• Metal cutlery, including cheese knives, stainless steel bottles or cups.
• Selfie and Go Pro sticks.
• Aerosols, sunshades, tents and tables.
• Umbrellas, even if it’s raining.
• Glass - this includes wine glasses, jars, or any other containers or items made of glass
• Professional cameras (including SLR's & any camera with a removable lens) and sound and video recording equipment. For full details read the answer to 'Can I bring my camera or sound and video recording equipment?' below.
• Pets (other than assistance dogs). 
• Beanbags, blow-up air chairs or lounges.
• No hard coolers, eskis, cooler bags larger than 26L (cabin sized).
• There will be a security check at the gate and prohibited items will be confiscated. Roundhouse Entertainment does not take any responsibility for confiscated items.

Can I bring the kids?

For The Chicks tour, children under 12 years are permitted free in the general admission lawn area only with a ticket holding parent or guardian Persons under 18 must be accompanied by a ticket-holding parent or legal guardian at all times. Whilst we allow children to attend please give some consideration as to whether the environment is right for them. Some performers may have content and/or lyrics which you may consider inappropriate for children and as a licensed event alcohol will be available to patrons 18 years and older. For parents considering bringing a baby to a day on the green - bringing your baby is entirely your prerogative, however not recommended, for both the child's wellbeing and safety, and your enjoyment of the show. Please note: there is no shade or protection from sun or rain. Prams are not permitted in the aisles in the seated area, regardless if you have an aisle seat.

Can I bring a dog?

Only service dogs are permitted and must be registered by emailing  [email protected] . If you do plan on attending an event with your service dog, please consider ear protection as in most cases dogs can show extreme signs of stress in conditions with loud music and large crowds. No other dogs or animals of any kind are permitted to any a day on the green events.

Can I bring my camera or sound and video recording equipment?

Professional cameras and video and recording equipment is not permitted at any show. If found, all equipment will be confiscated by security and may result in all photos deleted by security staff. Media and professional photographers must arrange accreditation through [email protected]

Can I bring a stroller?

You are permitted to bring prams and strollers for your children into the General Admission Lawn area only, not the Reserved Seating and Front General Admission areas (category name may differ per event). Please note that prams and strollers are subject to security searches. For parents considering bringing a baby to a day on the green - bringing your baby is entirely your prerogative, however not recommended, for both the child's wellbeing and safety, and your enjoyment of the show. Please note: there is no shade or protection from sun or rain.

Can I camp in the car park?

Camping in the car park or anywhere on the site is strictly prohibited.

What if it rains?

If it does rain the show will go ahead unless conditions are deemed to be dangerous. If an event does not go ahead due to this reason, patrons will receive a full refund from point of purchase. If the forecast is for even the possibility of rain bring good quality raincoats and suitable footwear. The decision to cancel a show will be made as early as possible but may not be made until the morning of the show. In the event of inclement weather patrons should check this website BEFORE departing for the show for messages regarding traffic, parking or wet weather arrangements. We will also send out notifications via email and SMS to the original ticket purchaser. Please ensure your contact details with Ticketmaster are up to date when purchasing a ticket.

Can I smoke?

Smoking is only permitted in the designated signed areas at each venue. Any patrons caught smoking in the non-designated areas could result in them being ejected from the venue. Please note: WA venues are non-smoking.

Will the program times or artists be likely to change?

Occasionally changes occur that are out of our control. Scheduled performance times and artist line-ups are subject to change. No refund will be offered in these circumstances.

What ticket types are available?

General Admission Lawn Rear GA Lawn area. Chairs, rugs and eskies permitted. NO access into below three areas Silver, Gold or Diamond Reserved Seating Allocated row and chair number. Chair is provided Only purchase tickets through Ticketmaster. Ticketmaster are the authorised ticketing agency that has the contract to supply tickets for all venues on this tour.

How do I access tickets during an a day on the green presale?

In order to access an a day on the green member presale you must be a registered member. If you’re not already, you can sign up here . Once you have successfully registered to become an a day on the green member, you will receive your very own exclusive member/presale code. This code does not change and is the same for every a day on the green presale. Your exclusive member/presale code is used to unlock the a day on the green presale on Ticketmaster . Please note Ticketmaster is the only official ticket merchant for all a day on the green shows.

How do I find my a day on the green member presale code?

You can find your member presale code via: 1. On the confirmation email you received when you signed up to become an a day on the green member. 2. On the My Details page when you have signed into the a day on the green website. 3. In the Presale section of the relevant show prior and during a presale. You must be signed into the a day on the green website. 4. You can also retrieve your member presale code and have an email sent to you by visiting the Retrieve Your Member ID page. Remember to enter the email address associated with the membership.

How do I purchase tickets to an a day on the green show?

Tickets should only ever be purchased from a day on the green’s official ticketing agency – Ticketmaster . Please do not purchase tickets from any unofficial retailer such as Viagogo, Facebook Marketplace, The Ticket Merchant or from social media. We cannot guarantee that these tickets are legitimate and valid for entry into the show.

When will I receive my tickets?

Your tickets will be delivered according to the ticket delivery method listed on the official ticketing agency's website when purchasing tickets. You may receive your tickets immediately or after a ticket suppression date has been lifted. Suppression dates are applied to negate ticket scalping. Ticket purchasers can find the ticket suppression date on the official ticketing agencies website or the Ticket Information section on our website’s tour page. If you haven't received your tickets after the ticket suppression date, please contact the official ticketing agency.

Will tickets be available at the gate?

If not sold out prior, tickets will be available for purchase at the gate. Please check the relevant tour page.

What do I do if I can no longer attend a show?

Our recommendation is that you give the tickets away to a friend or family member. You may need to contact Ticketmaster to have the tickets securely transferred to another name. We do not recommend and discourage reselling tickets online through unofficial outlets or social media.

Can I get a refund or exchange?

Unless the event you have purchased a ticket for has been cancelled or rescheduled, or there are legal requirements that provide otherwise (including those of the Australian Consumer Law), tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded. If an event is rescheduled, you will be offered equivalent seats at the rescheduled event. If you are unable to attend the rescheduled event or an event is cancelled entirely, you are entitled to a refund of the face value of the tickets and the per ticket booking fee. However, once an event has taken place there is generally no right to a refund or exchange. In the event of cancellation all refund details will be clearly posted on our website.

I selected the Print-at-Home delivery method but can’t find the Ticketmaster confirmation email – how do I print my tickets?

If you can’t find your original Ticketmaster confirmation email for your ticket purchase, you can log into your My Ticketmaster account on ticketmaster.com.au to print your tickets. For any other queries regarding your print-at-home tickets please visit the “Help” section on the Ticketmaster website.

Can I use a companion card?

Yes, holders of a valid Companion Card may request a companion ticket equivalent to the ticket type purchased by the Companion Card holder. Companion tickets may be requested via Ticketmaster .

Is there Accessibility Parking?

A dedicated parking area is available at all sites and is located close to the entry into the event. Just look out for the signs to accessible parking upon arrival, they will be sign-posted.

What are the food options on-site?

You are permitted to bring your own food to the event however we do have a broad offering of food vendors onsite at all events. Every attempt is made to ensure all dietary requirements are catered for by the contracted food vendors, however if you have a specific dietary requirement it is advised to bring your own food.

No pass-outs at all venues (except in the case of adverse weather conditions or in an emergency).

Where is Lost Property?

If you find or lose something, please go to the merchandise shop during the event. Any lost property will be left at the winery cellar door, or at the Cloakroom for shows in WA after the event day.

Is there mobile phone reception at the venues?

Most venues have average mobile phone coverage. Please note that phone reception can be very limited during the event. If you are meeting people onsite or getting picked up at the end of the event please make the appropriate arrangements prior to the day in case you have issues with phone reception.

Where can I park?

Parking is available onsite at every event. Please see individual tour page for relevant parking fees. Parking is at owners risk. Parking outside of the venue on surrounding roads is not permitted. In the event that the onsite parking is affected by wet weather, off site parking and a complimentary bus shuttle will be made available. Please check our website and the relevant tour page before you head out to the concert and make sure you allow some extra time to get to the show.

Besides driving what are the transport options to and from venue?

Bus services: Taking the bus to and from the event is the best way to travel to a day on the green . Please check the Bus Services and Transport Information tab on each artist tour page for more information. Pick up & Drop off: You can be dropped off and picked up from the venue. Please use the dedicated pick up / drop off zone. Drop off and pick up on surrounding roads is not permitted. Taxis : A dedicated taxi rank is supplied at all events. Please note taxis can be in short supply at the end of the night and we highly recommend that you make alternative arrangements particularly for the larger events. Taxis must drop off passengers inside the venue and no pickups are allowed on the roads outside of the venue. Ubers: Anyone getting dropped off or picked up by an Uber driver must do so in the dedicated pick up and drop off area. Please note organising a pickup from the site might be difficult due to poor mobile reception. For private charter buses , minibuses or limousines , please refer to the relevant tour and show page for more information.

Can I leave my car in the car park overnight?

We do not advise this and we encourage patrons to make use of all shuttle services and bus transfers available. Leaving your vehicle overnight is entirely at your own risk. The car park is not a secured or patrolled area. 

Ticket Scalping & Resale

What is a day on the green's position on ticket scalping.

Ticket scalping and the presence of unauthorised resellers is an issue which continues to frustrate many music fans, artists, venues and promoters, including the team at a day on the green. We know that Australians and New Zealanders are as passionate about music and live entertainment as we are and we believe that you shouldn’t be taken advantage of by unscrupulous individuals. Recently we’ve been made aware of people paying excessively inflated prices for tickets to our concerts through unauthorised outlets – with some of these tickets being sold multiple times, which has led to fans being turned away at the venue. We are particularly concerned with the inflated prices of these tickets from unauthorised sellers. We really cannot stress this enough - fans buying tickets to shows presented by a day on the green are warned not to buy tickets from unauthorised operators. Our only advice is: simply don’t do it. You don’t know who you’re buying from, the ticket may be in breach of the terms and conditions set by the original ticketing agency (and therefore cancelled), or the same ticket might have been sold multiple times to different people. We hate seeing fans pay inflated prices for tickets or turned away because their ticket isn’t valid. Beware of sites offering “100% money back guarantee” as this is not the same as getting to experience the show you have booked tickets for. We constantly see disappointed fans turned away at the door when they present tickets which have either been cancelled, sold multiple times, or are complete fakes. Not only is it a waste of money, it is simply heartbreaking for fans when this happens – particularly right outside the venue door. Unfortunately, when this happens, neither a day on the green nor the authorised ticketing agency can help you in getting a refund or re-issuing the unauthorised ticket. At no time does a day on the green allocate tickets to any of the following organisations: theticketmerchant.com.au | ticketfinders.com.au | worldticketshop.com | ebay.com.au | viagogo.com.au | Ticketmaster Resale (accessible via ticketmaster.com.au) Scalpers also use the platform Ticketmaster Resale but that does not make them authorised sellers. This can be confusing because Ticketmaster is our official ticketing outlet. Ticketmaster and Ticketmaster Resale are two different things – there is no guarantee that tickets bought on Ticketmaster Resale will be valid tickets. The only way you can be assured of paying the correct prices and actually receiving valid tickets is by purchasing via our official ticketing agent Ticketmaster OR via the AAMI Lucky Club should you be an AAMI customer.

What does a day on the green do to prevent ticket scalping?

a day on the green limits the number of tickets individuals can purchase to a concert. On shows that are considered to be particularly popular, numbers may be greatly limited and special measures may be employed such as lining up in person to purchase tickets, ticket suppression and/or photo identification being required to enter a seat/venue on the night. We monitor prominent auction sites and unauthorised resellers for tickets that are being sold in breach of our authorised ticketing agencies’ Terms of Sale. It is worth noting that it is against the Listing Policy of most auction sites and unauthorised resellers to offer products that are not physically in the seller’s possession. Unfortunately, these measures can often inconvenience the fans we're trying to protect; however these are the current methods available to us to limit and control scalping. You should seriously consider whether to buy tickets from a scalper. We also do our best to educate our customers not to purchase tickets via any secondary resale site with messaging on our website and social media channels. Our hope is that the various Governments will introduce anti-scalping legislation that will protect and look after the interest of honest fans. Australians and New Zealanders are passionate about their music, sport and entertainment and, we believe, shouldn't be taken advantage of by unscrupulous individuals.

The Chicks Add Second Show In Brisbane For October Australian Tour

The Chicks now tally an impressive eleven nights across Australia and New Zealand this October.

The Chicks ’ first Australian tour since 2017 has been met with phenomenal demand, with the trio adding a second and final show in Brisbane after the first concert on Tuesday, 24 October, sold out. The second show will take place the night after the first one, also at Brisbane Entertainment Centre.

The Frontier Members pre-sale begins on Friday, 14 July, at 1 pm local time, before tickets go on sale to the General Public on Monday, 17 July, also at 1 pm local time. You can find your tickets here .

The Chicks now tally an impressive eleven nights across Australia and New Zealand on the Antipodean leg of their World Tour this October – including sold-out Melbourne, Brisbane and Christchurch concerts. Special guest  Elle King  will join the band on all dates, which you can find below.

The highly influential country and pop music powerhouse consists of lead vocalist  Natalie Maines  and sisters  Martie Maguire  (vocals, fiddle, mandolin, guitar) and  Emily Strayer  (vocals, guitar, banjo, Dobro).

The Chicks To Tour Australia and New Zealand

The Chicks (formerly The Dixie Chicks) will return to Australia and New Zealand in October for stadium shows and three A Day On The Green events.

Michael Chugg, Executive Chairman Chugg Entertainment first touring The Chicks (then the Dixie Chicks) in the late 90s. He said, “Ever since I heard a demo in the late ’90s and did their first tour in November 1999, The Chicks have been a huge part of my life. Watching them become live icons of music has been an amazing journey, and their upcoming tour will go up another level again.”

The Chicks first single ‘I Can Love You Better’ was released in 197. The first hit ‘There’s Your Trouble’ was a year later and the big one ‘Not Ready To Be Nice’ came in 2006.

The new name The Chicks was announced on June 25, 2020. The ‘Dixie’ was dropped because of its historic connections to American slavery. On July 17, 2020 The Chicks released their first album in 17 years ‘Gaslighter’.

Diamond certified and award-winning artist  The Weeknd  has announced 2024 dates in Australia as an extension of his record-breaking 2022/2023 After Hours Til Dawn Tour. The newly announced Australia dates will kick off on Saturday, October 5 in Melbourne with back-to-back shows before heading to Sydney with shows on October 22 and 23 at Accor Stadium. These dates mark The Weeknd's debut stadium performances in Australia and his first return to the region since 2017.

All  2023 ticket holders  will still have the chance to purchase tickets for the Melbourne and Sydney shows during the  Past Purchaser Presale  starting  Wednesday 21 August, at 12pm   in Sydney , and  1pm   in Melbourne . To gain access to the presale, previous ticket holders are to  register  via this form . If you previously signed up for the waitlist, you do not need to re-register. The registration window closes Tuesday 20 August, at 1pm. Previous ticket holders will then receive an email from Live Nation with access ahead of the presale.  Presale access does not guarantee tickets.  Codes will be sent out via email on Tuesday 20 August to registered users.

There will be no further cities added to The Weeknd’s 2024 Australian tour dates.

The Weeknd announced his return to Australia with new tour dates Monday, revisiting plans abruptly canceled last year.

Originally, the Grammy-winning artist was set to close his “After Hours Til Dawn” world tour in Australia and New Zealand in November and December 2023. These concerts were postponed and eventually scrapped due to “schedule and logistical constraints.”

“I feel a strong pull to perform in Australia before moving on to the next chapter,” The Weeknd said in a statement, Billboard reports. “I want to make sure you all know I hadn’t forgotten about you. When I return now, it will be the right time, and I promise it will be such a special experience. I can’t wait to see you all!”

Fans noticed a significant alteration in the new schedule. The Canadian artist, born Abel Tesfaye, was originally due for multiple performances: two nights in Brisbane, three in Sydney, four in Melbourne, and two in Auckland, New Zealand.

This revised tour, however, comprises only four shows: two in Sydney and two in Melbourne.

The “Blinding Lights” artist will perform at Melbourne’s Marvel Stadium on October 5 and 6.

Additional shows in Sydney are slated for October 22 and 23 at Accor Stadium. These will mark The Weeknd’s first stadium appearances in Australia since 2017.

The Weeknd’s “After Hours Til Dawn” tour began in July 2022 and concluded in October 2023. This tour extension provides Australian fans a highly anticipated, albeit truncated, opportunity to catch the pop sensation live.

When in April, Abel Tesfaye — famously known as The Weeknd — made the tough decision to cancel his sold-out shows Down Under , Aussie fans were devastated they might have lost the chance to see the record-breaking tour.

But after months of waiting for updates their patience has been rewarded, with the ‘Blinding Lights’ singer sharing a post early this morning that confirmed he would finally be making his long-awaited voyage to Australia for the first time since 2017.

“I feel a strong pull to perform in Australia before moving on to the next chapter and want to make sure you all know I hadn’t forgotten about you,” The Weeknd said in a statement.

“When I return now, it will be the right time, and I promise it will be such a special experience. I can’t wait to see you all!”

The Australian and New Zealand leg of the After Hours Til Dawn tour is incredibly anticipated, with tickets selling faster than hotcakes when they were first announced in August 2023.

It was why fans were absolutely spewin’ when the entire tour was cancelled in for “unforeseen circumstances”.

The news of The Weeknd’s return to Australia was sneakily hinted at in Melbourne the night before the big announcement, with a building in the city being projected with the words “the end is near”.

Which we now realise actually meant “the Week -end is near”. Great work Abel, love the pun.

When are the new After Hours Til Dawn Tour Australian dates?

Aussie fans of The Weeknd better be prepared to free up their nights in October, because this year the spooky season has been officially rebranded to the Weeknd season.

Here’s when and where The Weeknd will be touring in Australia:

• Saturday October 5 – Melbourne – Marvel Stadium
• Sunday October 6 – Melbourne – Marvel Stadium
• Tuesday October 22 – Sydney – Accor Stadium
• Wednesday October 23 – Sydney – Accor Stadium

These four stadium gigs mark The Weeknd’s first ever stadium performances in Australia.

Notably, Brisbane is absent from Tesfaye’s destination list, despite originally being on the After Hours Til Dawn Australian leg.

How to buy tickets for The Weeknd’s After Hours Til Dawn Australian Tour 2024

Currently, tickets for the After Hours Til Dawn Tour have been confirmed to sell in at least three waves of sales starting August 21.

The Past Purchaser Presale will begin on Wednesday, August 21 . This will be only available to the folks who got a ticket the first time, only for the show to be postponed and their tickets refunded.

The artist presale will begin Thursday, August 22 . And finally, the general ticket sale will open on Monday, August 26 .

Did you happen to see that spooky projection claiming "The End is Near" on the Nylex Tower last night? Thankfully, we don't need to worry about the world ending (phew!) – it was all a silly little stunt to announce that  The Weeknd  is finally returning Down Under.

Yep, after a rollercoaster journey that saw his original After Hours Til Dawn tour dates in Australia postponed and then officially cancelled , it's now confirmed that the global superstar will return. And it's actually way sooner than you'd expect, with Melbourne scoring back-to-back shows in October – yep, two months from now.

So whether you were lucky enough to score tickets the first time, or missed out and are determined to snag them now, here's everything you need to know about The Weeknd's rescheduled Aussie tour.

Has The Weekend rescheduled his Australian tour in 2024?

Yes, after first postponing and then officially cancelling his tour back in April, The Weeknd has now confirmed he will finally bring his After Hours Til Dawn tour to Australia in 2024.

When is the Weeknd coming to Melbourne?

The Weeknd will open the Australian tour in Melbourne, with two shows on October 5 and 6 at Marvel Stadium .

How much are the Weeknd tickets for Melbourne? 

Based on the last time tickets went on sale, we believe prices will range from  $102.87-$306.75 – but these may be subject to change, so stay tuned for more info as it comes to light.

What stadium will the Weeknd play at in Melbourne? 

The Weeknd will play at   Marvel Stadium   in Docklands, near the CBD. 

Where else is the Weeknd playing in Australia as part of the 2024 After Hours til Dawn tour?

In addition to his two Melbourne shows, The Weeknd will perform at Sydney's Accor Stadium on October 22 and 23. Unfortunately, due to schedule and logistical constraints, the tour will not travel to Brisbane and New Zealand. No other cities will be added to schedule.

When do the Weeknd tickets Melbourne go on sale in Australia?

Tickets for the general public go on sale Monday, August 26 via this official website . 

If you really want to increase your chances of seeing the Starboy live, there’s a heap of different pre-sales before the main public sale. These are the dates and times for them: 

Vodafone pre-sale:  Thursday,  August 22, 2pm via this website .

Mastercard and CommBank Yello pre-sale:   Thursday, August 22, 1pm until Sunday, August 25. Find out more here .

Will there be a special presale for people who had tickets to the cancelled shows?

Yes! All 2023 ticket holders will still have the chance to snag a seat at the Melbourne shows during an exclusive Past Purchaser Presale that will begin on Wednesday, August 21 at 1pm. To gain access, previous ticket holders need to register via this form , which closes on Tuesday, August 20 at 1pm. If you have previously signed up for the waitlist, you don't need to re-register. 

Previous ticket holders will then receive an email from Live Nation with special access ahead of the presale. Please note this does not guarantee tickets.

The Weeknd drops surprise new dates for Aus leg of After Hours Before Dawn tour

Just when you thought the weekend was over, it's back again. The Weeknd has announced he's coming back to Australia before the end of the year for a string of massive shows in Eora/Sydney and Naarm/Melbourne.

He'll be finally bringing his After Hours Til Dawn tour down under in October, taking over Accor Stadium and Marvel Stadium for four nights on either end of the month.

These dates will mark his first stadium gigs in Australia and his first shows here since 2017 but The Weeknd knew he wanted to get over to our end of the world before he closes the book on this era of his creative career.

"I feel a strong pull to perform in Australia before moving on to the next chapter and want to make sure you all know I hadn't forgotten about you," he said in a statement.

"When I return now, it will be the right time, and I promise it will be such a special experience. I can't wait to see you all!"

Everything we've seen of the After Hours Til Dawn tour on TikTok has made it look larger than life. There's a giant, chrome robot woman, elaborate Tron-like masks, pyrotechnics, a huge moon, lasers – the lot.

Tickets for the new tour from The Weeknd are on sale from Wednesday 21 August for past purchasers first – so if you had tickets to his last lot of dates, you're first in line . There's then another presale on Thursday 22 August and general tickets are on sale from Monday 26 August. Check out The Weeknd's tour website for more information.

The Weeknd Reschedules Postponed "After Hours" Tour Dates

The Weeknd is heading back to The Land Down Under in just a couple of months, according to AllHipHop . Abel Tesfaye went on quite the historic tour last year celebrating his last two albums After Hours (2020) and Dawn FM (2022). The After Hours Til Dawn Tour became a global event, however a couple of stops were canceled due to "schedule and logistical constraints". From November through December of 2023, The Weeknd was going to be closing things out in Australia and New Zealand. Because of this pretty vague reason for shutting the fans out, the Canadian superstar felt it wasn't right to leave them hanging.

So, earlier today, The Weeknd shared this exciting update via Instagram. "AUSTRALIA, I didn’t forget about you 🖤 See you in October. Ticket presale Aug 22. 🇦🇺 LINK IN BIO". Yes, he is returning for a short time, four days to be exact starting October 5 in Melbourne, Australia at Marvel Stadium. Additionally, he will be there on the 6. Then, after about two weeks, the "After Hours" hitmaker will then hop on a flight to Sydney for shows on the 22 and 23 at Accor Stadium.

The Weeknd Didn't Forget His Australia Fans

Sadly, residents of Brisbane and Auckland, New Zealand are going to be missing out this time around. Originally, the After Hours Til Dawn Tour stops were two nights in Brisbane and two in Auckland. While fans of those respective areas were upset, the fact that The Weeknd is doing this to begin with shows how much he cares about his supporters. He said it himself in a statement, "I want to make sure you all know I hadn’t forgotten about you. When I return now, it will be the right time, and I promise it will be such a special experience. I can’t wait to see you all!".
