This tour was everything it was advertised to be. Good balance of tours and free time. Loved the small group. Lalo was a FANTASTIC guide. He was professional and knowledgable and at times had to be a mother, babysitter, principal and most importantly, tour guide. He plaed all these roles well - much better than I could have, that's for sure.

Too many panoramic views and not enough getting off the bus. Often the key attraction is on the other side of the bus, or a tree or truck is blocking the view. Great locations visited, hotels a long way from citycenter and often limited other food options.

Excellent. We had rain throughout our tour but our tour guide, Carmen was wonderful. She made our tour easy and comfortable. She made sure to have English speaking local guide for us who do not speak Spanish. Our tour bus driver had amazing driving skills.

North Spain Discovery

Before I arrived on this tour I thought my highlights would be Barcelona and San Sebastian but honestly, I enjoyed every moment of the holiday! The food and drink in this region is excellent and relatively cheap compared to the UK. You don't spend much time on the tour at the start in Barcelona or at the end in Madrid so I would recommend booking at least an extra night pre/post tour to be able to both great cities. Pamplona has a nice historical old town with some nice walks. San Sebastian is just the place to go to for foodies but is also a nice place in its own right! Logrono is the capital of the La Rioja region so you know you'll get to taste some good wine. I will definitely be coming back to this region! For the tour overall, I felt that we didn't really need 2 nights in Logrono and could have done with either an extra night in San Sebastian to visit Bilbao or a night in Bilbao itself. And that's taking into account the included evening tour of Logrono and the winery tour activities. Beware the 4hr + coach journey from Logrono to Madrid. Our tour leader, Maria Christina did a great job considering that she had to take over at short notice. She organised all our public transport and organised the optional meals, selecting some very decent restaurants. I definitely think she made the trip more enjoyable! I had great fun on this trip and hopefully have made some good friends for life!

It was very good except for the guide in Toledo. She couldn’t speak English and even when she spoke Spanish she didn’t seem to know very much and we didn’t see much at all. We spent the time standing around.

Highlights of Spain (Classic, Summer, 9 Days)

From the first day of our trip, we were welcomed by our Travel Director, Maria who made the entire experience amazing. Her knowledge of the destination and of course the local experts who shared with us, the ins and outs of the beautiful sites and cultural attractions, is something we will always remember The itinerary was beautiful and the everyone had a great time. Meals and accommodation were excellent.

Great itinerary and spectacular guide but the exclusive dependence on public transportation resulted in numerous instances of "hurry up and wait." The day trip to Toledo, for instance, involved waits of 30-45 minutes at the bus terminal in both directions. Other tours we've been on always had buses rented for such activities, the result being more time at the destination. Yes, I know that those tours were pricier, but for a once in a lifetime trip, a somewhat higher price tag would be palatable.

Andalusia & Mediterranean Coast with Barcelona

My trip to Spain which I booked through TourRadar was Wonderful. The tour was definitely as advertised, The bus was comfortable and had Wi-Fi. The people on my tour were great. I was traveling alone, and they were friendly and kind. I met a lot of wonderful people. We did see all of the highlights of all of the magnificent cities on our tour. The hotels were for the most part very nice, definitely four-star. A couple in the smaller towns were just ok. Our driver, Jaime was very efficient and friendly. By far and away the absolute best part of my trip was my tour guide, Carmen. She was so friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. Her English was excellent. She knew so much about everywhere we went. No matter what came up, Carmen was unflappable. She knew what to do in every circumstance. I also felt as if there was nothing that she wouldn't do for her tour members. In fact, when a bike race closed the streets in Madrid and our tour bus could not make it back to our final destination hotel, she took the last three of us on the Metro in Madrid and literally carried my bag down the Metro steps and paid my fare to make sure that I got where I needed to be. (She was even kind enough to overlook the fact that I reacted like a toddler at the inconvenience.) In short, my trip was wonderful! I would book with TourRadar/DestinationServicesSpain/Julia again! Gracias Carmen!

Andalusia with Costa del Sol & Toledo

There was some confusion about the meeting place in Madrid, Tourradar called it the Courtyard by Marriott Princesa Hotel which doesn't exist there anymore. Its now the Princesa Plaza Hotel which it does state in the Julia Travel itinerary so they need to align themselves on this issue. Other than that the tour was a lot of fun and Marina, our tour guide, was so amazing and extremely patient but always had a smile on her face and Paco our driver was also amazing. If there was anything critical to say it was the meals at a couple of the stops left us disappointed, especially in Sevilla. We expected something far better from the beautiful Melia Hotel than pan fried dry chicken and potato patties the first night and regular pasta the second, hardly traditional Spanish cuisine! Very disappointing but a beautiful hotel none the less. The hotel in Granada left us a little disappointed as well, on kind of a trashy street in the downtown area with few restaurants nearby, We left wake up calls at all the hotels we stayed at and only received one in four requests even though we went directly to the front desk, in each case, to request them and watched as they either wrote it in their schedule or added it in their system. Was not happy about this as we had early morning starts each day of the tour. The locations were all amazing and the guides we met along the way were very good all around but there should be some alternate arrangements that can be made to accomodate some of the older clients as far as the amount of walking they had to do, maybe have some golf carts there to assist them through the long streches from point A to point B, especially in the case of the L'Hambra where it is a fair distance down a hill and then up one from the bus drop off to the starting point on the tour. Overall a good tour and I would book another through Tourradar but my advice would be to make inquiries into the hotels you're staying at and not be satisfied with the claim that they will be "similar" to the one you start in, they're not! I would also keep your tour short, you have a variety of nationalities on the bus and they all have their own ideas of what personal space is or is not and some have no idea what the meaning of lining up for something is all about.....I guess its a cultural thing maybe?

What people love about Spain Tours for Seniors

The itinerary was good; liked the fact that we had a lot of time on our own and that we had the same hotel at least 2 nights in a row. Did not like the fact that we had to take a public bus to our hotel with luggage in tow, and that we had to drag our luggage to various pick-up stops. We have not experienced that on prior tours. The day in Cordoba was poorly planned, leaving us no time to tour the city on our own as was promised. Otherwise everything was fine.

This was the best tour I have done. Our host guide was amazing and put so much energy into every second she spent with us. We saw so many extras because she went above and beyond to give us the full Spanish experience. Fully recommend this tour to any one wanting to get the most out of their time in Spain.

1. Burgos - "Tarmul Castelelor"

Extraordinara catedrala gotica din Burgos este una dintre bijuteriile cele mai apreciate ale Spaniei in materie de arhitectura religioasa si domina orizontul orasului. Aceasta este inclusa in obiectivele protejate Unesco World Heritage. La suprafata, conservatorul Burgos pare sa detina toate stereotipurile unui oras spaniol din zona central - nordica, cu arhitectura traditionala din piatra gri, mancaruri consistente si un climat al extremelor. Dar acest oras isi recompenseaza exploratorii cu un iz de legenda: sub maiestuasele spire ale catedralei se afla unul dintre cei mai apreciati fii ai sai, El Cid.

2. Santander

Construit in jurul Golfului Sandander (Bahia de Santander) si langa Golful Biscay, acest modern si popular oras spaniol este locatia unuia dintre cele mai aglomerate porturi. Insa cele care atrag atentia si turistii sunt frumoasele plaje din Santander, in special in eleganta statiune El Sardinero unde " Playa Primero de El Sardinero" este o plaja superba, lata si cu nisip fin, care isi mentine popularitatea fara efort.

1. Bilbao - Guggenheim - Guernica

La numai 14 km de Oceanul Atlantic, in estuarul creat de Nervion, este capitala provinciei Vizcaya; port si centru industrial, unul dintre cele mai moderne orase din Europa de sud (in 2010 a primit premiul Nobel pentru urbanism). Intr-un tur panoramic de-a lungul apei vom admira podurile, unul dintre acestea fiind construit de marele arhitect spaniol contemporan Santiago Calatrava, Universitatea Deusto, Primaria, cartierul cel mai vechi, numit "Las siete calles" - cele 7 strazi. Ne oprim apoi la Muzeul Guggenheim , un edificiu emblematic (premiul Pritzker pentru arhitectura) - o sculptura gigantica din titan, calcar si cristal, situata in zona industriala, pe malul apei Nervion.

2. Vitoria, Rioja, Pamplona - "In vino veritas"

Vitoria - Capitala celei mai mari provincii basce Alava, este sediul oficial al Parlamentului si al institutiilor regiunii autonome basce Euskadi. Este asezat in inima unui podis semanand mai degraba cu Castilia decat cu colinele umede ale coastei cantabrice, in apropiere de doua lacuri artificiale. Intram in orasul vechi, in Plaza Virgen Blanca - centrul orasului - si admiram casele nobiliare cu fatadele impodobite cu blazoane, cu "miradores" (verande) si cu vitralii, biserica San Miguel, sub porticul caruia se afla statuia protectoarei orasului, Maria Blanca. Vinurile Rioja , dintre cele mai renumite sunt vinuri usor aromate cu un buchet excelent si se obtin din podgoriile ce se afla in regiunile autonome La Rioja, Pais Basco si Navara.

Continuam excursia noastra cu marele oras al Pirineilor spanioli, Pamplona , veche capitala a regatului Navarei, care a pastrat aspectul unui vechi oras fortificat. Sunt renumite coridele de San Fermino, care se desfasoara intre 6 - 14 iulie, toata Spania urmarind cu pasiune acest spectacol plin de emotie.

3. Valladolid - Palencia - "Capitalele regionale"

Incepem excursia noastra cu vizitarea orasului Valladolid . Capitala a Castiliei y Leon, si, timp de cinci ani, capitala Spaniei, aici s-au casatorit regii catolici, aici s-a nascut Filip II, cel care a transferat capitala la Madrid, si tot aici s-a nascut Ana de Austria, viitoarea regina a Frantei. Vom vizita Muzeul national de sculptura policromatic si vom incheia plimbarea in oras cu Casa de Cervantes, ramasa aproape intacta cu ceea ce era la sfarsitul sec al XVII-lea.

Palencia, capitala provinciei cu acelasi nume, asezata la 750 m altitudine, este unul dintre cele mai sustenabile si curate orase din Spania. Cristo de Otero este o sculptura de mari dimensiuni, reprezentandu-l pe Isus, una dintre cele mai mari din lume, asezata pe o colina din apropierea orasului.

4. Oviedo, Gijon, Santillana del Mar - "Descoperind coasta Cantabrica"

Excursia incepe cu vizita orasului Oviedo, centru religios, administrativ, universitar al principatului si capitala a regatului de Asturia in sec al IX-X-lea. Casco antigo, zona veche a orasului, acolo unde aroma trecutului si a istoriei va imbie sa fotografiati unul dintre cele mai frumoase orase asturiene. Catedral San Salvador, Palacio de Valdecarzana, sediul pentru Audiencia Provincial, vechea universitate, fondata de inchizitorul general al Spaniei, Palacio Regional - Parlamentul, sau Palacio de Congressos, contruit de arhitectul spaniol contemporan, Santiago Calatrava.

5. San Sebastian si Biarritz - "Pe plaja Regilor"

San Sebastian - Donostia - in limba basca, este cunoscut drept "perla Cantabriei", asezat intr-un golf in forma de scoica, strajuit de munti, are doua plaje cu nisip fin, care formeaza o curba aproape perfecta: Concha si Ondarreta. Dupa o plimbare pe malul oceanului, vom urca pe muntele Igueldo, din apropiere, pentru o panorama deosebita.

Biarritz - la mai putin de 25 km de granita cu Spania, asezata pe malul Oceanului Atlantic pe o lungime de 4 km, eleganta statiune balneara din sud-vestul Frantei era altadata locul de vilegiatura preferat de nobili, oras imperial cu palatul daruit imparatesei Eugenie de catre Napoleon III, azi - capitala europeana pentru surf. Stanca Fecioarei este una dintre emblemele orasului, o pasarela lucrata in atelierele Eiffel, leaga tarmul de stanca. Cazinoul este in stil Art Deco si este asezat aproape de plaja.

Hola! Bienvenido în Andalusia! Imediat după aterizare ne îndreptăm spre hotelul care ne va găzdui, pe Costa del Sol, cartierul general de unde pornim în explorările noastre în următoarele zile. Stațiunea Fuengirola este faimoasă pentru plaja sa generoasă de peste 7 km și pentru castelului maur din secolul al X-lea. Te invităm să faci cunoștință cu ghidul și ceilalți participanți la program. După întâlnirea de informare, poți alege excursiile opționale pentru următoarele zile, daca nu ai facut-o inca. Malaga Ne vom indrepta spre orașul Malaga, care se poate mândri cu o istorie de peste trei milenii, fenicienii fiind fondatorii primei așezări pe aceste locuri. Un alt motiv de mândrie pentru locuitori este faptul că aici s-a născut și a petrecut primii ani de viață marele artist Pablo Picasso. Málaga modernă, revitalizată, este acum orașul despre care vorbește toată lumea. Cele 30 de muzee ale sale, scena de artă urbană și zona portuară radical regândită sunt completate de restaurante cochete și de o stradă comerciala votată printre cele mai elegante din Spania. Calle Marqués de Larios, îmbrăcată în marmură, găzduiește buticuri ale caselor de modă și magazine deținute de familii, în clădiri vechi restaurate cu mult bun gust, unde abundă marfa de calitate, de la rochii flamenco la dulciuri locale și vin de Málaga. Facem un tur panoramic al orașului și mergem la pas prin centrul istoric. Aceasta excursie se va realiza fie in prima zi de program, in drum de la aeroport spre hotel sau in ultima zi, inainte de transferul spre aeroport.

Sevilla: 70 EUR/ persoana

O zi in care ne vom bucura de priveliști pe care sigur le-ai întâlnit în cinematografie sau măcar într-o revista de lifestyle in Sevilia, capitala Andaluziei. Pătrundem chiar de la sosire în inima centrului istoric și vizitam Palatul Alcazar și Catedrala din Sevilla, locul de veci al lui Cristofor Columb. Este cea mai mare catedrală gotică din Spania, iar ornamentația și grandoarea ei uimesc prin fiecare detaliu. În vecinătate se află Judeira (Cartierul Evreiesc) unde ne vom plimba pe străzi înguste, privind în curțile pitorești și ne vom bucura de parfumul florilor care parcă răsar din fiecare colț sau pervaz pe lângă care trecem. După o pauză de pranz, putem face o croazieră pentru a repera alte atracții: podurile (cel mai îngust pod din lume, un altul construit de Eiffel și un pod realizat de celebrul architect spaniol Calatrava), dar și pavilioanele construite cu prilejul expoziției mondiale din 1929. În timpul explorării de azi mai vedem Paseo de Colon, arena de tauri Plaza de Toros de la Maestranza (cea mai veche din Spania), Torre del Oro de pe malul râului Guadalquivir (de unde plecau și se întorceau corăbiile spre Lumea Noua), Plaza de América și celebrul Bulevard de las Palmeras. Doar pentru cunoscătorii și iubitorii de operetă: într-una dintre piețele orașului trecem pe langa balconul și casa Rosinei din opera Bărbierul din Sevilla și pe langa Fabrica de Tabacos, vechea fabrica de tutun a orașului, o cladire neoclasica enorma in care lucra Carmen, cunoscuta din opera cu același nume de G. Bizet. Cost suplimentar pentru cine dorește, se achita la destinație: 6 euro/ persoana, bilet de intrare Catedrala; 20 euro/ persoana, croaziera.

Granada: 60 EUR/ persoana

Imediat după micul-dejun, ne îmbarcăm în autocar și plecăm spre una dintre cele mai bine păstrate comori ale Spanei, Granada, orașul menit sa fie capitala Imperiului Spaniol. Moștenirea sa bogată, maură, cei care au guvernat timp de secole regiunea, impresionează la fiecare pas. Granada ne ofera bucuria contemplarii inca din departare, iar Palatul Alhambra cu turnurile sale roșii domina cromatica orizontului. Facem o plimbare de descoperire a centrului vechi și ne oprim la Choral del Carbon, Catedrala din Granada, Piața Noua, Tribunalul Superior și la Capela Regală, unde se află mormintele cuplului regal Isabela de Castilla și Ferdinand de Aragon, din secolul al XVI-lea. Cost suplimentar pentru cine dorește, se achita la destinație: 6 euro/ persoana, bilet de intrare Catedrala din Granada; 6 euro/ persoana, bilet de intrare Capela Regala; 25 euro/ persoana bilet de intrare Complexul Monumental Alhambra.

Cordoba: 65 EUR/ persoana

Astăzi călătorim spre Cordoba, unde influențele maure, iudaice și creștine sunt omniprezente în arhitectură, cultură și în gastronomia locală. Prima noastră oprire este la Alcazar de los Reyes Cristianos. Palatul și fortăreața au servit ca reședință regală a Isabellei I a Castiliei și a lui Fernando al II-lea de Aragon, apoi ca sediu al temutei Inchiziții spaniole și închisoare, iar mai recent ca sit al Patrimoniului Mondial UNESCO. Între zidurile sale au avut loc nenumărate evenimente marcante pentru istoria țării, printre altele aici și-a prezentat planul, în fața cuplului regal, Cristofor Columb. Cordoba găzduiește și Mezquita, o catedrală în care se păstrează vechea moschee maură – un exemplu interesant al interacțiunii culturilor creștine și musulmane din Spania. Descoperim acest exemplu suprem de arhitectură și apoi continuăm către Cartierul Evreiesc unde ascultam povești, istorii și legende ale evreilor sefarzi. Trecem pe lângă Sinagoga cu decorațiuni maure și oprim într-un suk. Orașul este plin de baruri tapas tradiționale, perfecte pentru a lua masa. Nu trebuie să ratăm delicioasasalmorejos de Córdoba, o supă groasă de roșii, garnisită cu jamón ibérico. La final, cei pasionați de shopping se pot pierde în cartierul comercial printre sute de magazine și buticuri. Cost suplimentar, se achita la destinație: 13 euro/ persoana, bilet de intrare Mezquita; 5 euro/ persoana, bilet de intrare Alcazar de los Reyes Cristianos.

Gibraltar: 50 EUR/ persoana

Ai tot auzit de stramtoarea cu același nume, dar locul in sine are mult mai multe de oferit. Vizita noastra incepe cu un tur panoramic și se continua pe jos, prin cele mai frumoase zone din fosta colonie britanica: Victoria Stadium, cazematele din sec. 18-19, Watergate, Queensway, Main Square și Main Street. In plimbarile noastre ajungem sa vedem atat cartierul Irlandez și cartierul Arab, cat și Parlamentul, Primaria și Catedrala. Ne bucuram de timp liber pentru pranz, dar mai ales pentru cumparaturi. Gibraltar este “Porto Franco”, ceea ce inseamna ca ne putem bucura de prețuri fara taxe, in special pentru parfumuri, ceasuri, țigari trabucuri și bauturi fine. Acesta este locul in care produsele marilor companii din intreaga lume ajung pentru prima data pe piața. In ultima parte a zilei, in funcție de disponibilitate și extracost, putem opta pentru o cursa cu microbuzele locale spre Upper Rock. Vedem aici singura colonie de macaci salbatici din Europa și Peștera Sfantul Mihail, fost spital militar improvizat in timpul celui de-al Doilea Razboi Mondial, actuala sala de spectacole, cu o acustica excelenta. Cost suplimentar pentru cine dorește, se achita la destinație: 40 euro/ persoana urcarea cu microbuzele locale spre Upper Rock (peștera și colonia de macaci incluse).

Ronda și Setenil de las Bodegas: 55 EUR/ persoana

Ați auzit de faimoasele „Orașe Albe”? Pentru cei care au ocazia să petreacă o vacanță în Costa del Sol acestea sunt o destinație care nu poate fi ratată. Vizitam doua dintre aceste „Orașe Albe”: Setenil de las Bodegas și Ronda, aflate în mijlocul munților, într-un cadru natural deosebit. În Setenil, exploram orașul de pe stâncă și admiram peisajele panoramice. În timp ce majoritatea orașelor căutau protecție pe stânci înalte, oamenii din Setenil de las Bodegas au făcut tocmai pe dos, făcându-și adăposturi în peșterile de sub stâncile abrupte ale Rio Trejo. S-au păstrat multe dintre casele-peșteră originale, unele fiind transformate în baruri și restaurante. De aici mergem spre orașul Ronda, locuit odinioară de bandiți, războinici de gherilă și rebeli. Locația sa spectaculoasă în vârful defileului El Tajo și statutul său de cel mai mare dintre Orașele Albe l-au făcut extrem de popular. Luptele moderne cu tauri au fost inventate practic aici la sfârșitul sec. al XVIII-lea, iar faima orașului a fost răspândită și mai mult prin asocierea sa cu Ernest Hemingway, un pasionat de corrida. Vedem obiectivul principal al Rondei, podul Puente Nuevo care se întinde peste hăul de deasupra canionul El Tajo. Apoi, ne plimbăm spre Poarta Almocabar, Biserica Santa Maria la Mayor și arena de tauri Maestranza, una dintre cele mai vechi din Spania.

Marbella și Puerto Banus: 40 EUR/ persoana

Astăzi ajungem în Marbella, devenită în timp destinația preferată a celebrităților, starurilor de film și a familiilor regale. Marbella oferă priveliști minunate, plaje cu aspect tropical, nisip fin, ape turcoaz și localuri elegante. Cu mult înainte ca Marbella să atragă jucători de golf, milionari și dictatori latino-americani pensionați, orașul a fost casa fenicienilor, vizigoților, romanilor și maurilor. Mergem la pas pe aleile vechi de sute de ani, flancate de clădiri istorice și de șiruri de vase de ceramică ticsite de flori. Vizitam artera principală Avenida Ricardo Soriano, Paseo Maritimo și Piața Portocalilor. Apoi ne indreptam spre unul dintre cele mai luxoase locuri din lume – Puerto Banús, un punct cheie pe Costa del Sol pentru celebrități și bogați. Timp liber pentru a te plimba în portul de agrement, promenada sau prin mall-urile de lux.

· Hotelul menționat in acest program poate fi modificat, in acest caz agenția oferind o alternativa similara.

· Clasificarea pe stele a unitaților de cazare este cea oficiala pentru țara vizitata și respecta standardele locale.

· Distribuirea camerelor se face la recepție și orice problema legata de amplasarea sau aspectul camerei se rezolva de catre client direct la recepție, asistat de reprezentantul agenției.

NOTE EXCURSII OPȚIONALE

· Tarifele excursiilor opționale includ transportul cu autocarul pe traseul indicat și ghidajul.

· In cazul in care nu este altfel menționat, excursiile opționale nu includ vizite interioare ale obiectivelor, plimbari cu barca, degustari sau mese de pranz.

· Tarifele excursiilor opționale sunt valabile in momentul publicarii programului, dar pot suferi modificari independente de agenția de turism.

· Prețul oferit in momentul rezervarii, inclusiv orice creștere sau reducere aplicabila in acel moment, este prețul garantat.

· Grupul minim pentru a organiza excursiile opționale este de 20 persoane.

· Excursiile opționale se achita online, in agenție sau la ghid.

· Recomandam rezervarea excursiilor opționale din țara pentru o mai buna planificare a programului turistic.

BINE DE ȘTIUT

· Este necesara prezența la aeroport cu 3 ore mai devreme fața de orele de plecare.

· Fiecare pasager are inclus maxim un bagaj de cala, cu o greutate de pana la 20 kg și un bagaj de mana care nu poate depași 7 kg.

· Agenția de turism nu este responsabila de eventualele modificari ale zilelor sau orarului zborurilor, operate de companiile aeriene și nici pentru eventualele modificari ale programului survenite datorita acestora.

· Deși se fac toate eforturile pentru a opera tururile cum sunt prezentate, in unele ocazii (condiții meteo nefavorabile, drumuri blocate, etc.), poate fi necesar sa facem modificari la traseu sau ordinea obiectivelor din itinerar, fara a se afecta structura generala a programului.

· Autoritațile locale iși rezerva dreptul de a refuza intrarea pe teritoriul statului a persoanelor care nu prezinta suficienta incredere. Agenția nu poate fi facuta raspunzatoare pentru astfel de situații.

· Minorii care calatoresc neinsoțiți de ambii parinți sau doar cu unul dintre parinți, trebuie sa prezinte autoritaților vamale acordul ambilor parinți sau al celui care nu-i insoțește, autentificat la notariat. Adultul care-i insoteste, in cazul in care acesta nu este unul dintre parinti, trebuie sa prezinte și cazierul judiciar.

· Grupul minim pentru a organiza acest program este de 20 persoane.

· Plata se face in euro sau lei (curs BNR din ziua respectiva + 2%).

· Tarifele pot suferi modificari in funcție de fluctuațiile taxelor sau ale petrolului, impuse de compania aeriana.

· Ca urmare a pandemiei coronavirusului, anumite obiective turistice accepta doar plați facute cu cardul sau metode de plata fara contact (cu telefonul), in loc de numerar.

Prezentul program este parte integranta a contractului de prestari servicii.

Lena, our guide in Moscow was excellent. She was very knowledgable and could answer any question we had for her. We liked that she could pick up on our interests and take us places we might not have thought of to go. When we realized that one of the places we had chosen to see would probably not be that interesting to us, she was able to arrange entry to the Diamond Fund and the Armoury for us. Riding the Metro with Lena was a real adventure and a lot of fun. In Saint Petersburg we found Anna well versed in the history of the Tsars and in the Hermitage collection. Arkady in Veliky Novgorod was a very good guide and answered all of our questions with ease. Novgorod was perhaps a long way to go for a day trip, but we did enjoy it. Vasily was a great driver to have and kept us safe with good humour and skill. We enjoyed ourselves so much, my daughter says she is already planning to return. We would both have no hesistation to recommend ExpresstoRussia to anyone we know.

Just wanted to let you know that My grandson Bruno and I couldn´t have been more pleased with our week in Moscow (6/15 - 6/21). We were absolutely enchanted with the whole experience, including getting lost a couple of times in the Metro during our free time. Although both our guides (both Eleanas) were excellent, I would particularly commend the first one (she took us to the Tatiakov, the KGB tour, and to that beautiful cemetery where so many great Russian artists, authors, composers, musicians, militarists, and politicians are buried). Her knowledge is encyclopedic; and her understanding of today´s Russia as a product of its past was, for us, truly enlightening. I will be taking another tour in Russia, with my wife, within the next two or three years. I will be in touch with you when the time comes. Meanwhile, I will refer you to other potential visitors to Russia as I meet them.

Do they speak English in Moscow?

As Russia’s capital city, tourists are well accommodated in Moscow. There should be English-speaking staff in restaurants, bars, hotels, shops and attractions in tourist hotspots, and there are also English-speaking tourist police. Transport services have English translations on their maps and English announcements via intercom; alternatively, order taxis from the Yandex Taxi app (Russian Uber), though it’s unlikely that your taxi driver will speak English. If you get stuck and cannot communicate, it’s fine to use Google Translate.

Is it safe to travel to Moscow?

It is no less safe to travel to Moscow than to any European city if you exercise common sense and look after your belongings. As with every city some regions can be more unsavoury than others, but no tourist attractions are located there. The traffic in Moscow is notorious, so exercise caution when crossing roads. Do not take unlicensed taxis; book in advance or take public transport, which is widespread and perfectly safe. If you encounter any problems, look for the special tourist police who can help you.
