Myra Canyon Sightseeing & Wine Tours
Myra canyon sightseeing & wine tours, "great hiking and wine tour", "we took the exuberance tour plus - walking, picnic and wine tour. this was a terrific experience with our guide john. we hiked for two hours on the lovely myra canyon train trestles. up in the mountains with great views but easy flat hiking. then we visited 5 wonderful small local wineries - all interesting and friendly fun places. places i doubt we would have found on our own. john was a great guide full of good humour and clearly loves his okanagan valley home. i highly recommend this tour - a terrific way to spend the day in the okanagan valley.".
Experience breath-taking views of Myra Canyon , the Okanagan Valley and Lake Okanagan from historic mountainside train trestles. While walking along the gentle grade of the historic Kettle Valley Railroad take in views of trestles up to 180 feet (55m) tall and 722 feet (220m) long. An absolute engineering marvel to behold first-hand!
A comfortable pace allows you to enjoy up to 11 trestles and two tunnels on a two-hour, round-trip trek back in time. Afterwards, enjoy a matchless picnic lunch at a scenic lookout.
All ages welcome on all tours.

9th Annual Okanagan Trestles Tour is Sunday July 2, 2023
You are invited to come ride the historic Kettle Valley Rail Trail starting at the famous Myra Canyon, Kelowna to Penticton 80km. We have added a 40km option starting at Chute Lake Resort. Both distances finish at the Penticton Lakeside Resort. The 80km ride is the most popular. We organize transportation for you and your bike. E bikes are welcome, mountain bikes or bikes with wider tires are best.
Join us for this fun oriented, non-competitive event. The 80km route starts with 18 trestles and two tunnels, beautiful views, flat profile for the first 36km then a 2.2% decline to Penticton. The 40km route starts at the half way point "Chute Lake" goes through Rock Oven Regional Park, Naramata Wine Country and is a 2.2% decline to Penticton. Bring your Camera!
There will be 5 rest stops with food and drinks; mechanical support and first aid on route; when you arrive in Penticton you will be greeted with live music, bbq, beer, wine, cider and more. The event supports the KVR Rail Trail and BC Parks.
Abandoned railway corridors hold unparalleled opportunities as recreational trails, and the Kettle Valley Railway is no exception. This corridor is one of the most dynamic routes in Canada, with some truly impressive scenery and spectacular views. The 80 km route is challenging with the average time being 5.5 hours. The 40km route will take approximately 2.5 -3.5 hours. Cycling this trail is truly a dynamic and challenging venture that unfolds over the expanse of place and time. The 2023 event will be celebrating the Trans Canada Trail and the historic KVR Rail Trail. Experience the magic of the KVR Rail Trail starting at Myra Canyon riding back to Penticton.

- Thank you for your exceptional service during our heritage workshop that we held in one of the meeting rooms at the PTCC. To be honest, I’ve held many events there and they are all exceptional but I wanted to make a point of saying a special thank you for this one in particular. The room setting combined with the high-quality food service really made the participants in the workshop feel appreciated and special. I always enjoy your staff! City of Penticton

- "Thank everyone at the PTCC for the tremendous job on this year’s conference. I would have to say it was the easiest event I’ve ever done from a production standpoint due to the high level of professionalism of your entire staff." Jerry Rousseau, Western Canada Turfgrass Association
- The venue is so lovely and all of the staff were amazing! The catering staff was awesome. It was great working with you on the menus, everyone was very helpful and all of the food was wonderful. The A/V staff did a great job too and was super helpful, and checked in on us throughout the day which was great. Thanks again to you and the whole team for all of your work on this event.
