Under Canvas West Yellowstone is located on the Bar N Ranch

Directions from West Yellowstone, Montana

Head out of West Yellowstone on Highway 20. About 6 miles from town you will see on your right the log archway for the Bar N Ranch. Turn RIGHT under the arch and follow the driveway for one mile, continue past the lodge and follow signs to the camp. If you miss the turn for Bar N Ranch on Highway 20 you will come to the KOA Campgrounds. You have gone too far… just turn around and come back to the first driveway that will then be on your left.

Directions from Idaho Falls, Idaho

Take Highway 20 towards West Yellowstone looking out for the KOA campgrounds on your left-hand side after Island Park. Immediately after the KOA there is an archway on your left for the Bar N Ranch. Turn LEFT at this archway and follow the driveway for about one mile. Continue past the lodge and follow signs to the camp.

Old Faithful is located 32 miles or a 45-minute drive from the West Yellowstone entrance.

The closest airport to Under Canvas West Yellowstone is  Idaho Falls Regional Airport , Idaho Falls, ID (1.5 hours), Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport , Bozeman, MT (2 hours), or  Jackson Hole Airport , Jackson, WY (2 hours).

Yellowstone’s Grand Loop Road can be looked at as a figure 8, or an Upper Loop and a Lower Loop. Each loop takes about 2.5 hours to drive without stopping. Stay at both Under Canvas West Yellowstone and Under Canvas North Yellowstone – Paradise Valley to explore both sides of the park.

Luxury Camping at Pinnacle Camp

The best of both worlds.

Available May to mid-October, Pinnacle Camp is a collection of six safari-style tents that allow guests to connect with the great outdoors without forgoing the creature comforts of a luxury camping vacation. Situated on a bluff overlooking the confluence of the Blackfoot River and Elk Creek, Pinnacle Camp offers one of the most breathtaking views on our 37,000-acre property.

One-Bedroom Tent

Pinnacle Camp’s one-bedroom, 565-square-foot tents accommodate up to 2 guests and feature an en suite bathroom with shower and either a jetted tub or a copper tub at the foot of the bed. Pinnacle also features a plush Dining Pavilion and a myriad of luxury resort amenities.

Nightly rates are inclusive of three daily meals, selection of beverages, roundtrip airport transfers from/to Missoula airport, on-property transportation, gratuities, and access to non-guided activities.

Total Per night Standard Occupancy Rate listed is based on standard occupancy of 2 people, based on ages shown above. However, should your occupants ages differ from ages shown above, incremental rate increases/decreases of $50 to $290/night per person will apply. There is no charge for children 0-3 years of age.

Nightly rates listed above are inclusive of breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as beverages with meals (nonalcoholic drinks and an impressive selection of alcoholic beverages). There is no charge for children 3 years of age or under. Actual rates on select dates may be higher or lower that what is displayed on this page. Each tent features a spacious en suite bathroom with jetted tub and shower. Pinnacle also features a plush Dining Pavilion and a myriad of luxury resort amenities.
