Globe Holidays Ltd operates a wide range of coach holidays and day trips departing from areas including; Barnsley, Rotherham, Harrogate, Bradford and Wetherby. Globe Holidays has been part of the South Yorkshire coaching scene for over 65 years, expending in 2015 into the North Yorkshire area & Wetherby, expanding our business and offering a great variety of tour packages, improved itineraries, no hidden extras and most importantly value for money to suit every budget. 2018 saw the opening of our second Travel Centre in Bradford city centre. We opened our third Travel Centre in the heart of Rotherham in 2020.

Our tours stay in excellent hotels, offering a high standard of service and cuisine. Our coach touring fleet offers all seatbelted vehicles, air conditioning, refreshment area and tolilet, including our Diamond Traveller coaches.

We offer tours from 2 day short breaks to longer holidays touring the highlands and islands of Scotland.  We pride ourselves on a unique and wide variety of holidays for all budgets. Whether you are travelling with us again, or maybe trying us for the first time you will be sure to find a fantastic selection of breaks to choose from. Our 2024 brochure features many new and exciting destinations, from action packed breaks to more relaxing sea-side get aways, we are sure you will find something to suit your requirements.

Door to Door - On a selection of our tours your holiday really can start from home. We will collect you from your door and return you home at the end of your holiday. This service is subject to postcode/area & holiday duration. Supplements may apply.

DAY EXCURSIONS -  These are a speciality of ours and we operate a diverse programme including shoppers, scenic specials, coastal favourites, trains, boats, lunches, castles, gardens and festive specials to name but a few. We produce seasonal editions of our Day Trips leaflet throughout the year, so make sure you are on our mailing list to receive our latest releases all year round! We are a family-run travel company providing coach hire and holiday packages for individuals, businesses, schools, corporations and organisations in Leeds, Barnsley, Sheffield and the rest of South and West Yorkshire.

Our excursions are not limited to this area however, and we travel all over the UK and Europe with our customers.

Yorkshire Rose Coaches is proud to offer door-to-door pick-ups on holidays of 3 days or more, making travel even easier for you.

The key to our business is flexibility. We want to cater for your transport needs, however large or small. The whole experience was a treat from start to finish, the journey the hotel the food the outings. couldn’t fault anything

Thank you to K M Travel and Driver/Courier John and a very good safe drive down to the Evans Hotel Llandudno for the Christmas break and his knowledge of the area giving us good information about it and every morning checking if we were ok what a credit to the company,

Went to Torquay with this company. Dave was our driver, he was knowledgeable, friendly and A really good driver. Our hotel, The Headland Hotel, was really well maintained, set in beautiful grounds in a great position and included a spa with pool, hot tub, sauna and steam room...fabulous! Special mention needed for the staff...friendly & helpful. This trip was excellent throughout...only ‘tiny’ fault, would have loved one of the trips to be to a beautiful stately home, garden or place of interest. Well done KM!

Good if you want to be picked up from your door but if you are not then you can spend an hour going all around Barnsley area picking up before you even start your journey. Just been to St Annes and the only reason we booked this was because it goes without saying that the driver will be taking you on a journey to the well known Fleetwood Market, well not our driver. The other drivers from the other coaches took their passengers there, maybe we should have thumbed a lift.

Just returned from a 5 day trip to the Isle of Wight with this professionally run company. Picked up by taxi and didn't have to handle our luggage again until it was delivered to our room door at the hotel, fantastic! Set off on Monday in terrible snowy conditions but our coach was driven by Dean who proved to be an excellent driver. The journey went to plan and we even arrived early to our hotel in Shanklin on the Isle of Wight. Good range of trips out organised but as we had been to the island before we chose to take advantage of the hotel facilities, pool & sauna, and then took ourselves around the sites. On the way home Dean took us via the beautiful village of Woodstock. We took advantage of this delightful stop and visited a gorgeous coffee shop and took in some of the sites....much, much better than spending an hour wondering around the usual service station stop! Finally dropped off at home with our luggage after a super holiday. Thank you KM for a well organised & value for money trip and a special thank you to Dean.

We have been travelling with K M coach tours of Barnsley, South Yorkshire, for a number of years. This year we have been on 4 coach holiday's with the company, 3 times to Blackpool, & once to Llandudno. We booked for a 5 day coach holiday to Blackpool, from Monday 20th to Friday 24th November 2017, staying at the Manhattan hotel. We selected a home pick up by mini bus, this costing £8 per person return,to connect with our coach in Barnsley, where has the mini bus driver takes your luggage from you at home, to which next time you see your luggage, is at your hotel, which is delivered to your room, then when coming home, your luggage is collected from your hotel room, then you see it when you arrive home, a very good service, especially for anyone being disabled. So the £8 charge for pick up is well worth it, has we live about 11 miles from the coach depot, people living closer pay £4 per person for home pick ups. We were picked up from home at 9.50am, with several other pick ups, the main coach then leaving for Blackpool, at 10.50am, with a half hour stop at Birch services, we arrived 2.20pm at our hotel. Luggage was delivered to our room. During the 5 day holiday, K M did a trip to Thornton Cleveleys, Fleetwood & Freeport on Tuesday 21st November, then Wednesday 22nd November a 3 hour visit to Southport. Friday 24th November we travelled home,calling at Birch services, where the driver gave us a glass of sherry. Back to Barnsley, our mini bus connection home, to Swinton,South Yorkshire again a good holiday for us. K M coach tours a excellent company.

About Us Welcome to the “Day out by Coach” website. All of our coaches are operated in partnership with Globe Holidays Limited, a familiar name within the Barnsley and surrounding areas for many years now. By establishing a standalone website our aim is to welcome new customers who would not ordinarily receive our literature though the local print media and those of you who may not have visited our shop on Eldon Street in Barnsley; in addition to this our existing customers will be able to now browse our full list of day trips at your convenience. Many of our customers over the past twelve months have been delighted with our “value for money” day trips, with an ever expanding day trip programme which included convenient local pick-up points we pride ourselves in offering the most comprehensive package of trips within the area. We use our best endeavours to ensure that all advertised trips run and always put our passengers first.   All trips are operated on one of our Globe vehicles, ranging from the latest additions to the fleet. We range from our 38/44 seater VIP Diamond Traveller coaches and 49 / 53 seat excursion, a Royal Class 53 seat executive coach with a rear floor mounted WC and now we also have 2 57 Seater coaches. each trip is individual, you will always be welcomed aboard. Has a frequent traveller with K M coaches, I thought I would give the company the recognition it deserves for their travel coach tours. We have been on 3 tours with the company this year, in March & June 2017 we went on a 5 day coach tour to Blackpool, then in August we went on a 3 day coach tour to Llandudno. The firm offers a pick up service from your home to the companies coach headquarters for a fee, or you can travel in your own car & leave it safely in the companies car park. We always use the home pick up service, be it where we live in Swinton South Yorkshire the charge is £8 per person, on top of the tour cost, the company has its own mini buses, which are high standard & very clean. Your luggage is taken off you at your door, next time you see it is when it is delivered to your hotel room, so no luggage to carry, also on return you leave your luggage outside your hotel room on day of departure, next time you see it is when you arrive at your front door at your home, excellent service. The coaches are high standard with very good drivers, when booking your tour you are asked where you want to sit on the coach, & your name is on your seats when boarding for your travel, there are on coach toilets, while also a tea / coffee etc are offered for a small fee. The tours also offer free excursions,like the Blackpool 5 day tour offers a day in Cleveleys/ Fleetwood market & Freeport one day, while also on offer is a trip to Skipton or Southport, depends which tour date you select. On our 3 day tour to Llandudno we called at Chester on our way home for 4 hours, a nice place to visit. K& M coaches have a shop on Market Street, Barnsley for booking travel, with very informative staff. The company has a nice fleet of coaches, with very friendly drivers, to give you a good travel experience. After our 3 coach tours this year up to now, it shows the company has got the travel experience for customers, this shows when people keep returning to book their excellent tours.
