Why should you book a vacation package to the Caribbean?
When should you book a vacation package to the caribbean.
The Caribbean experiences hot weather throughout the year with the highest rainfall being in May. The average temperature is about 81 degrees Fahrenheit and the months between January and April are the best for holidaying.
In these months after the conclusion of the most hectic season, vacation packages are cheaper. At year's end various carnivals take place on islands such as Curaçao and Aruba.
Where should you stay in the Caribbean during your vacation?
For any vacation type in the caribbean:.
If you prefer to explore the island of Aruba, then either an all-inclusive or a beachfront hotel is a good pick. The Marriot Resort is a beachfront hotel with a surf club, a spacious dining area, swimming pools, and a casino.
If you opt for the British Virgin Islands, then the beachfront Anegada Beach Club is a viable option. It houses a bar and restaurant within walking distance of a spectacular coral reef ideal for snorkeling. Both hotels offer an inclusive pick-up from the airport.
For family vacations in the Caribbean:
The Amsterdam Manor Beach Resort in Aruba is a 4-star, Dutch-themed hotel, be-fitting a family holiday. The rooms boast a kitchenette. Kids under 12 can share a single room with their parents at no extra cost.
If you travel to Bermuda, then you might want to book at the Coco Reef Resort. It has air-conditioned rooms and outdoor pools with a beachfront view. The resort has a private supervised beach, making it kid-friendly.
For romantic vacations in the Caribbean:
The Royal Palms hotel is a 19th-Century colonial manor designed in an 18th-century British architectural style. It has a wine cellar, beautiful gardens with sun loungers, and an outdoor swimming pool. The daily wine reception is a great way to spend a romantic evening.
The Flora Suite Hotel Curaçao is an adult only, all-suite establishment. It features a spa, two restaurants, and two bars, including a poolside bar. The Parasasa beach is a 6-minutes walk while the Blue Bay Curaçao Golf Resort is just over 4 miles away. The rooms have a wet bar and a stand-in tub while the living area is spacious enough for a romantic candle-lit dinner delivered by room service.
For luxury vacations in the Caribbean:
The Hyatt Regency Aruba Resort and Casino is 7 miles from Queen Beatrix International Airport. Features include mini-bars, coffee makers, and balconies with an ocean view. There's also access to lounges with free happy hours, and the suites have pullout sofas.
Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Punta Cana is located in the Dominican Republic. It houses a casino, a beauty salon, a spa, a golf course, 13 pools, and 9 restaurants. Best time to visit.
Simply put, there’s no bad time to visit the Galapagos Islands. Good weather is mostly found year round, as are the animals. This being said, November through to June is the preferred time to visit, with clearer skies, calmer seas and decreased winds. Of these, March and April have less rain, while November and December are the warmest. July to November is the best time for divers as whale sharks can often be spotted at Wolf and Darwin islands.

Culture and customs
Ever since Charles Darwin brought attention to the giant tortoises, sea lions, hammerhead sharks and other spectacular wildlife of the Galapagos Islands, people have been fascinated by this archipelago of volcanic islands. Originally a pirate hideout, people started migrating to the islands from Ecuador after it became part of the country in 1832. Of the 13 major islands and scores of smaller islands and islets that make up the Galapagos, only five of them are inhabited – about 26,000 residents spread over the islands of Isabela, Santa Cruz, Floreana, Baltra and San Cristobal. The wildlife rules the rest of the islands, which are carefully managed to help protect the precious environment.
Geography and environment
Located in the Pacific Ocean about 600 miles off the coast of Ecuador, the Galapagos Islands are a volcanic archipelago of 13 major islands, six smaller islands and more than 100 islets. Some are sparsely vegetated with largely mountainous interiors, whereas others are comparatively lush with white-sand beaches. Many of the islands are in a state of flux, as continual volcanic eruptions cause them to erode and expand.
The largest island, Isabela, makes up half the land area of the Galapagos and is characterized by three active volcanos, a blue lagoon, clear lakes filled with flamingos and beaches where iguanas and sea lions roam. Santa Cruz is the second largest island with giant tortoises, marine iguanas and Galapagos crabs residing in Tortuga Bay. The oldest and most remote island, Espanola (also called Hood), boasts boobies, albatrosses and many species of birds and lizards not found anywhere else in the world.

1. Sea Lions
Whether you're loafing about on the beach or snorkeling offshore, you’ll be hard-pressed not to come face-to-face with these frolicsome critters at some stage. Playful, plentiful, and pretty much fearless, you’re supposed to keep a 2-meter distance from these guys at all times - though their insatiable curiosity can make this hard.
2. Marine Iguanas
The only lizards in the world that can live and forage in the ocean, the marine iguana is found solely in the Galapagos. Fierce and ferocious though these Godzilla-like reptiles may appear (Darwin called them ‘Imps of Darkness’), it’s all bluff – they only feed on algae. And with lung capacities permitting up to half an hour of underwater foraging, you’re just as likely find them gorging on the islands’ surrounding seabeds as scampering about the craggy rocks they inhabit.
3. Hammerhead Sharks
Boasting one of the animal kingdom’s most puzzling physiologies, hammerhead sharks are found in abundance off Wolf, Bartolome, Santa Cruz and Darwin islands. Unlike most sharks, they will often merge into schools of over 100 during the day - making for some incredible and surreal photo opportunities. And with no known human fatalities and a wealth of choice natural prey on offer, diving amongst them isn’t as scary or dangerous as one might think.
Darwin finches gave rise to one of the most game-changing theories of all time. By studying the differences between finches from different islands, Darwin hypothesized that the birds’ adaptations to their habitats resulted in their mutation into different species: his Theory of Evolution.
5. Giant Tortoises
No trip to the islands is complete without a visit to its most famous residents. Weighing up to 882 pounds, regularly living for more than 100 years, and able to go for up to 1 year without food, these gentle and slow-moving monsters are an intriguing and humbling spectacle to observe.
6. Sea Turtles
Snorkeling alongside these majestic creatures of the deep (or more accurately, the shallows) is one of those rare, life-affirming moments that makes a trip to the Galapagos immediately worthwhile. Keep your eyes peeled on the beaches for turtle nests too - the Galapagos is a hotbed of activity for these critters.
7. Blue-Footed Boobies
Despite essentially looking like handsome seagulls with painted toenails, blue-footed boobies, when caught hunting, serve up one of the Galapagos' most thrilling spectacles. Diving from heights of up to 100ft, groups of boobies hit the water at speeds up around 60km per hour. They usually let out a shrill whistle before letting rip, which means you'll usually have warning enough to get your camera out too. How considerate.
8. Flightless Cormorants
Granted, a flightless cormorant spotted on land isn't one of the most invigorating sights you'll see during your time here. But wait until you don your snorkel gear and spot one weaving elegantly through the water - the flightless cormorant will likely become one of your favorite discoveries in the Galapagos Islands for this reason alone.
9. Frigatebird
With its striking wingspan and deeply-forked tail, the magnificent frigate bird is easily one of the most impressive birds in the skies of the Galapagos archipelago. But they don't have such a swell reputation amongst other birds. Whilst they hunt fish on the oceans surface, they also force their winged brethren to regurgitate their food, which then they eat - a process known as kleptoparasitism. Still, they look gorgeous – particularly the males, with their bright-red chin sac.

Temperatures in Hawaii range between lower 80’s in the fall/winter months and higher 80’s in the summer months (May-Sep). Hawaii has a tropical climate, but the temperature can vary depending on altitude and the surroundings. The islands receive most of its rainfall from the trade winds on the north and east sides of each island. The coastal areas tend to be drier, especially the south and west sides. The rainy season tends to be during the winter months of October to April. The overnight temperature rarely drops below 65 degrees at the lower elevations. On this tour, you may experience lower temperatures at the Hawaii Volcanoes National Park (in the 60s during the daytime).
You can find more on the weather in Hawaii here .
We recommend bringing a light jacket or sweater for the buses or flights. The west coast – known as the Platinum Coast – offers powdery sands and natural corals, plus the best backdrop for swimming, snorkeling, sunbathing and world-class watersports. Divers flock to the coast in the summer months for adventures alongside seahorses, sponges and giant sand eels on dives to underwater caves, rainbow reefs and more than 200 shipwrecks.
Breathtaking beaches abound in every direction of Barbados – the south coast is the spot for windsurfing, the rugged east coast’s Soup Bowl attracts serious surfers and the northern coast is a sensational sight with sandstone cliffs soaring straight out of the sea.
The beauty of the isle also goes far beyond its beaches. Nature lovers can take in panoramic views amidst 53 acres of wild gardens at the Flower Forest, enjoy species sightings at the Barbados Wildlife Preserve, or wander the Welchman Hall Gully Tropical Forest where a fascinating gully – formed by the collapsed roofs of caves – is connected to one of the island’s most magnificent wonders, Harrison's Cave. For those looking to dive into local history and heritage, cultural sites include the George Washington House, where the future first president is alleged to have stayed in 1751.
For sports enthusiasts, Barbados is home to sunny, world-class golf links and a multitude of sportfishing opportunities. Spectators can also stay busy by sipping coconut rum at The Garrison Savannah horse racing track.
No matter your style, you’re sure to leave Barbados with a brimming suitcase. Broad Street in Bridgetown offers department chains and duty-free goods, the Pelican Village Shops carry an array of local handicrafts and the colorful collection of stores at the Chattel Village promises local fashion and gifts.
Where there’s a blend of cultures, there’s an enticing blend of cuisines. While seafood is the mainstay of the island’s diet, restaurants offer a range of epicurean delights with African, Caribbean, West Indian and European influences.
Don’t miss tasting the world’s oldest rum at the Mount Gay Rum Distillery or dancing the night away at the island’s best bars in St. Lawrence Gap, aka ”The Gap.”

sorry that the outcome was not the desired one.
even the children's waterpark area on DePalm is more than what a toddler could probably handle. It is way more than a splashpark.
(disclosure, we have not been there since 2019 and I think the waterpark has had some upgrades since then..)

Athens, Santorini & Mykonos Tour - 7 Days - Premium
A really pleasant tour. Hotels were great. The islands were pure joy. We loved it.
Athens, Paros & Santorini - 7 Days - Standard
It was very well organized. Accommodations, meals and transportation amazing. I wish we had more time in Athens but otherwise fantastic tour.

9 Day Private Tour in Santorini & Mykonos from Athens
Everything went very smoothly and communication with Private Tours of Greece was great.
Athens - Mykonos - Santorini - Crete
We began in Athens and traveled to Mykonos, Santorini, and Crete. The hotels were lovely and well placed. When we joined the tour of Athens I was afraid that 30 people will follow us during island hopping. But after Athens, we went on a private trip. So in Athens part you are joining to a regular trip and after Athens you are on your own. We also recommend to upgrade your normal ferry tickets to fast ferry tickets during booking. Greek islands are amazing and you don't want to waste your time with lazy ferries. We went also on a trip to Delos, which I strongly suggest. Santorini is really breathtaking. Our hotel was pleasant and conveniently located near the beach, restaurants, and stores. When we arrived to Heraklion the company gave us a rental car and we ride to Chania and visited many sites and beach. It is easy to ride in Crete. I and my girlfriend we had a great time in Greece. Thank you
Cycladic Explorer: Athens - Mykonos - Santorini
Amazing experience! The island hopping package we booked was absolutely perfect! We chose to visit Athens, Santorini and Mykonos. we are really happy with the customer service, especially with ALEX, who responded and provided timely responses when any questions were raised. The transfers were on time waiting for us and the hotels were great, with only one exception. Titania hotel did not accommodate us according to our arrival at 8am after a long overnight flight, having young children, which really impacted us. The islands were absolutely amazing. Overall, everything was great. I wouldn’t change anything! Thank you very much Eskapas for this amazing experience!

Discovery of Athens, Naxos & Santorini - 8 Days
Everything was well organized
Athens, Mykonos, Delos, Santorini & Heraklion(Crete), 11-Day tour
Overall I had a very good experience with Mazi Travel from beginning to end. Mazi’s reprensentative was very prompt to respond. All hotels were well located and clean. Two things that matters to me when I travel. I have also been provided a chauffeur for every transit which was very practical. Except for one time, the chauffeur did not show up and I had to take a cab, all other times they were punctual. The acropolis and Parthenon visit included was good as well as the Delos tour. I would have loved to stay one more night in Santorini instead of Mykonos since there was so much to see in Santorini. An included tour of Santorini would have been appreciated. I had to buy one myself and did’t regret it. I recommend none the less this Trip with Mazi Travel. I travelled alone and had lots of time on my own to do whatever I wanted. I think that kind of tour is well balanced were some things are taken care of(ship transfer, hotel, some inclusions) so you don’t have to worry. TourRadar is also easy to use with lots of options and tour companies I will use this site for my next trip.
Greece Highlights: Athens, Mykonos & Santorini
FANTASTIC!!! Very organized!
3 Day Island Tour: Santorini, Mykonos to Explore the Best of Cyclades
Absolutely wonderful Tour Wish I could do it all again Thanks for an amazing trip of a lifetime
Athens, Delphi & Greek Islands By Cruise - 5 Days
Yes tour was excellent only minor problems regarding crowding not able to get into Delphi museum . Whilst tour guides were proficient in detail of explanation there was too much detail and too much time spent explaing superfluous information ... this could have been better used viewing more items ... A little more time in Hydra as thus was too quick I recall only 30 minutes ...an hour would have been better and not delayed arrival back to Athens .only 30 minutes more. Overall excellent organisation pick ups drop off's and transfers were appreciated. Thankyou so muck for arranging all professionally. Edward Cioffi.
Santorini & Mykonos
Sail Greece: Mykonos to Santorini
Fantastic trip! Highly recommend

What people love about Island Hopping Tours in Greece
El mejor viaje y el mejor tour con Elias ? muchísimas gracias!!!!
While this tour want not I expected (my mistake, not theirs), everything was really well organized and communicated. While the tour guides were great, Effie was especially amazing (I can only imagine my look of horror upon realizing my mistake that this was not a group tour I had envisioned), and checked in with me, even after I left Athens, answered questions and shared recommendations. I couldn't have been more grateful! The hotels were lovely and when one the boat tours got cancelled because of the weather, they seamlessly for me into a bus tour instead. Highly recommend and suggest taking the expedited ferries when possible.

7 of the best all-inclusive experiences to book this year, from a travel planner
- As a travel planner, my clients seem to be increasingly interested in all-inclusive trips .
- Some of my favorite luxury resorts are in Costa Rica, the Maldives, and Isla Mujeres.
- Cruises, group tours, and adults-only lodgings can also come with all-inclusive options.
As a travel planner at Marvelous Mouse Travels , I know vacations are expensive — especially if you're looking to go somewhere this summer . But all-inclusive travel is often a great way to get the most value out of a luxury experience.
I've been on several all-inclusive vacations with my family, friends, and work, and I've helped other people book them in destinations around the world .
Here are some of the best all-inclusive experiences I'm recommending to my clients this year.
Try a split-stay vacation to see the best of Costa Rica.
Costa Rica is one of the most sought-after vacations , and for good reason. It's great for both relaxation and adventure.
I recommend booking a split stay, starting at an all-inclusive resort in Guanacaste near the beach for some fun in the sun and moving to a resort near the famous Arenal Volcano for a jungle adventure.
Some of my favorite resorts in Costa Rica are the Westin Reserva Conchal and the Dreams Las Mareas. And if you're looking for an even more unique experience, check out the glorious swim-out suites with private pools at Dreams.
Baglioni Maldives is one of my favorite all-inclusive resorts.
The Maldives, a remote set of islands in the Indian Ocean, offers a plethora of resort options for couples and families, but Baglioni Maldives is my favorite.
For many in the US, getting to the islands can be daunting — there are very few direct commercial flights, and it can take almost an entire day. But it's hard to beat the country's luxury accommodations and gorgeous landscape.
The Maldives also has some of the most beautiful marine life and coveted spots for snorkeling and scuba diving.
No matter where you go, overwater bungalows are the ultimate all-inclusive splurge.
Overwater bungalows — villas standing on poles over open ocean water — are prevalent at all-inclusive resorts in destinations like the Maldives, Fiji, and Bali.
But I've also come across the luxurious accommodations at select adults-only Sandals Resorts throughout the Caribbean.
I think having a private villa on the water is the perfect way to unwind and relax.
Adults-only vacations are on the rise.
Traveling with kids can be a blast, but I also think it's important for adults to take a much-needed break on their own.
Adults-only resorts have been a total respite for me and my husband after hectic months of juggling work with our kids' school and sports schedules.
If you're looking to unwind with a partner, relax on a girls' trip, or even connect with your adult children, there are countless adults-only, all-inclusive resorts to choose from, depending on where you're looking to visit.
Some properties, including Sandals and Beaches Resorts, also offer butler service. Designated staff members can help with anything from room requests and dining reservations to cabana rentals and transportation coordination.
I upgraded to the service at my favorite adults-only spot, Le Blanc Los Cabos, and I felt totally pampered.
Isla Mujeres is pure luxury.
Isla Mujeres, a small island off the coast of Cancún, is known for its crystal-clear, turquoise water and peaceful vibe. It's also home to Playa Norte, one of the best beaches in Mexico .
Impressions Isla Mujeres by Secrets is a gorgeous all-inclusive resort on the island. It offers luxury at its finest, but with only 125 rooms, it has a boutique feel.
One of my favorite features of the resort is the waterslide that leads right into the beautiful ocean.
There are plenty of all-inclusive packages at sea.
Cruising is one of the most popular vacations , whether it's an epic adventure on a Royal Caribbean Cruise, a couples-only journey on Virgin Voyages, or a regal tour of Europe on Viking River Cruises.
Although cruises aren't traditionally considered all-inclusive, with the right booking, they can have the same feel as a luxury resort.
Most cruise bookings include food, nonalcoholic drinks, and live entertainment. If you add beverage packages and excursions in advance, your trip should be fully paid for before you depart.
Book a small-group or private tour if you're looking for adventure.
Group travel is a great way to explore new places while soaking up culture and history.
Popular destinations include Italy, Japan, Costa Rica, and Alaska, and many travel companies take care of everything for you, essentially making it all-inclusive.
I like Adventures by Disney , which offers small-group travel all over the world facilitated by seasoned guides. All the trip details are taken care of, including experiences, food, lodging, and transportation.
Additionally, Kensington Tours offers luxury private travel where every facet of the trip is meticulously planned for you.

Cheapest destinations to see Taylor Swift concerts from 'Eras Tour' abroad
Are you a Florida Swiftie with “Eras Tour” FOMO?
It’s definitely too late to find a ticket to Taylor Swift’s October concerts in Miami for less than $2,000.
But you can see an “Eras Tour” show in Warsaw, Poland, on Aug. 1, 2024, for about $500 cheaper than the cheapest concert ticket for a Miami show in October (including a roundtrip plane ticket to Poland, from Miami ).
Travel website Islands.com just released a study on the cheapest overseas destinations for seeing Miss Americana on the European leg of her tour.
To calculate the cheapest overseas shows on Taylor Swift’s “Eras Tour” this summer, Islands.com aggregated data on each city to find the average most affordable concert tickets, the average cost for two days of spending on hotel rooms, meals, drinks and transportation in each city and each city's safety score.
Here’s the Islands.com list of the cheapest shows on the next leg of Taylor Swift’s tour and how much the cheapest plane tickets from Florida to the cheapest European concert are.
Does “The Eras Tour” come to Europe?
Yes! After a wildly successful first run of “The Eras Tour” in the U.S. in 2023, Taylor Swift extended her tour to an international one and will start performing in Europe this summer before returning for more U.S. shows in the fall.
Here’s Islands.com’s list of the Top 10 cheapest places to see Taylor Swift in Europe this summer, including two days’ worth of hotel, food, drink and transportation costs for each city:
- Warsaw, Poland: $443 cheapest concert ticket price, $712 total lowest average cost
- Gelsenkirchen, Germany: $387 cheapest concert ticket price, $749 total lowest average cost
- Hamburg, Germany: $411 cheapest concert ticket price, $903 total lowest average cost
- Stockholm, Sweden: $406 cheapest concert ticket price, $935 total lowest average cost
- Paris, France: $313 cheapest concert ticket price, $971 total lowest average cost
- Munich, Germany: $472 cheapest concert ticket price, $1,000 total lowest average cost
- Lisbon, Portugal: $507 cheapest concert ticket price, $1,028 total lowest average cost
- Lyon, France: $582 cheapest concert ticket price, $1,047 total lowest average cost
- Cardiff, UK: $679 cheapest concert ticket price, $1,061 total lowest average cost
- Vienna , Austria: $496 cheapest concert ticket price, $1,089 total lowest average cost
Does Taylor Swift perform in Poland?
Yes! Taylor Swift will be performing for three nights in Warsaw, from Thursday, Aug. 1, through Saturday, Aug. 3.
The cheapest ticket to see Taylor Swift perform in Warsaw, Poland in August is about $1,500 cheaper than the cheapest ticket to catch one of her Miami shows in October.
As of April, via Google Flights, you can buy a roundtrip plane ticket from Miami to Warsaw (with two layovers) for around $800 .
Add that $800 plane ticket to the around $500 it will cost for a concert ticket and the extra $200 to $300 you’ll spend in two days of visiting Warsaw, and the grand total comes out to a maximum of around $1,600, which is still $400 cheaper than the cheapest ticket to a Miami show.
