The Star Wars: Star Tours toy line was released exclusively to Disney Theme Parks , released from 2002 to the present day. It included characters and vehicles that were part of the Star Tours attraction, Disney / Star Wars character crossovers, and repackaged items from other Star Wars toy lines. The toys came in varied formats, including standard action figures, PVC figurines, and miniature figures. Most figures released reflected the style of packaging of the regular Hasbro Star Wars collections being produced at the time.

A new series of merchandise, including toys, was released to coincide with the new version of the attraction, Star Tours: The Adventures Continue , opening in May ( Disney's Hollywood Studios ) and June ( Disneyland ) of 2011 .

This Disney Star Tours Officer action figure was released in a multipack as a Disney exclusive in May 2010, and was limited to 15,000 pieces. Disney likes to keep things fresh by updating their attractions over the years to keep it appealing for their guests. They also like to update their Disney Cast Member outfits, hence the changes in style and color over the years. This action figure's paint scheme is based on the more modern Disney Cast Member outfits from 2009/2010.

The figure is a simple repaint of the previously released POTJ Imperial Officer from 2001, hence it has only 8 joints, and is lacking any joints below the waist. There are also no ball-joints anywhere, which will limit you as to how you can position the figure. Hasbro didn't include any weapons, probably due to the fact that Star Tours Officers don't carry any weapons either. However, to spice things up a little bit, a blaster would have been appropriate to include.

The paint application is cleanly applied, but feels very simple. Since this figure is based on the previously released POTJ Imperial Officer , the entire outfit is inaccurate for a cast member. All in all, this Star Tours Officer action figure is a below average figure, one of the worst actually in recent history. Using a 9 year old mold, just repainting it, not including any weapons and just giving it a different name is cheap on Hasbro's part. This figure should only appeal to either completists, or big, big super-fans of Disney's STAR TOURS ride .

The Star Tours Travel Agency offers "convenient daily departures to the exotic moon of Endor" and other locations throughout the galaxy. All passengers travel in the Starspeeder 3000 . As each boarding party enters the facilities, they will encounter the Star Tours officers , mantenance droids, Mon Calamari, and even R2-D2 and C-3PO . Once the tour is complete, passengers will be able to pick up a variety of different souvernirs from around the galaxy. Let the journey begin and may the Force be with you!

Figure skater Elvis Stojko in Halifax to kick off 2024 Stars on Ice tour

Elvis Stojko is one of many talented figure skaters in Halifax this week who are preparing to kick off the 2024 Stars on Ice spring tour.

This year, the opening show is one day earlier than normal – Thursday night – at the Scotiabank Centre .

Stojko says this year’s Stars On Ice will be different than past performances, including a “science of skating” theme.

“It’s not typically breaking down the exact pulling power of a jump, it’s like audience participation and a few other little things in there. I think we have a crash test dummy which is kind of fun, so there’s a few different things,” he told CTV Atlantic’s Katie Kelly during an interview Wednesday night.

Other skaters to hit the ice will include World Champions Deanna Stellato-Dudek and Maxime Deschamps, Canadian Champion Keegan Messing, World Silver Medalists Loena Hendrickx and Satoko Miyahara as well as Olympic Gold Medalist Patrick Chan, who is retiring from the tour this year.

Audiences can expect to see a routine from Stojko featuring a medley of songs by rock band AC/DC.

“It’s a lot of fun. It’s not just typically go out and skate, so there might be a little bit of a microphone involved, a mic stand,” he says. “People have to come and check it out.”

The Olympic Silver Medalist also says the costumes for the shows are impressive.

“Mathieu Caron does the outfits for us this year and with the Science of Skating he came up with some incredible outfits with all the skaters, and he does my personal outfits as well, and he did the outfit for the AC/DC number and it’s really cool, so I’m very excited,” Stojko says.

Fellow skater Kurt Browning retired from Stars on Ice during last year’s cross-country tour.

While people won’t see Browning lace up hit skates anymore, he is still involved in the show as its new director.

Stojko says it’s been exciting to have Browning in the new role.

“It’s very, very different than what Jeff (Buttle) has done in the past, (it) has been awesome, and this is a completely different, sort of out of the box thinking. He’s all over the place sometimes with his ideas, but it makes for exciting show and it’s going to be very different,” says Stojko.

“It’s all coming together and sometimes it’s crazy to see it on paper and you’re wondering how it’s going to come together,” he added. “The last couple of days, it’s been really exciting, but having him running it, it’s been fantastic.”

Tickets are still available for Thursday night’s show in Halifax and Friday night’s show at the  Avenir Centre in Moncton, N.B.

Scottie Scheffler and Nelly Korda have won in nine of their last 10 combined starts. The LPGA superstar has won five straight , while the men’s World No. 1 has won four.

It has been a while since a run of this magnitude has happened in golf. Fans want more of this duo, and many want to see Scottie vs. Nelly in a match-play setting.

Various PGA Tour players recently reflected on this historic run that both of them are on. The Tour produced a video mashup with their comments.

“Scottie’s four of five or whatever it is, and that’s unbelievable,” Wyndham Clark said after the RBC Heritage before turning his attention to Korda.

“To win five in a row is amazing. Especially one being a major that she just won. Kudos to her. She’s playing amazing and clearly the best female in the world.”

Clark has been right there with Scheffler. He has recorded two runner-ups and 4 top 10s this season. In two of Scheffler’s wins, Clark finished second behind him.

Meanwhile, Billy Horschel won for the first time since 2022 on Sunday at the PGA Tour’s alternate event, the Coralas Puntacana Championship. Despite the win, Horschel remained humble and in awe of what they are accomplishing.

“What Nelly and Scottie are doing is unreal,” Horschel said. “I can’t imagine that. Over a period of time, not just five weeks in a row, they’ve done over, you know, six, seven, eight weeks.”

“Who they’re playing against in today’s generation of more talented players, as a golf fan, I’m just lucky to be able to see that,” Horschel said.

J.T. Poston also chimed in on Scheffler and Korda. He had a quick start in Hilton Head but would settle for T5.

“Obviously, what Scottie’s been doing has been pretty impressive and for her to reel off five in a row is, I mean, that’s hard to fathom,” J.T. Poston said.

Scheffler even commented on the situation. After winning his fourth event of 2024 at RBC Heritage, which gave Scheffler $18 million in earnings for the season, he told a funny story.

“One of the people asked me, ‘Is this turning into a competition between you and Nelly?’ I was like, ‘I don’t know, man. If it’s a competition, she’s got me pretty beat right now,’” Scheffler said.

The former Texas Longhorn did not stop there.

“Five wins in a row, you know, she had that T-16 at the beginning of the year, which was terrible. I can’t believe she did that,” Scheffler said jokingly. “It’s pretty special stuff. I’m extremely happy for her, and I think we’ve all seen the golf swing. Obviously, some great golf, some historic stuff, and hopefully, she keeps it up.”

The competition on both the LPGA and PGA Tours is astronomical. This duo goes up against talented players weekly and still has found ways to win.

Scheffler and Korda took off this week, so the players teeing it up can take a sigh of relief. The 10-time PGA Tour winner is expecting his first child any day now, while the 13-time LPGA winner is getting some rest.

It’s a good day to be a PGA Tour player — and a really good day to be Tiger Woods.

The Telegraph is reporting that players are receiving the money they earned by not bolting for LIV Golf and accepting the huge offers that were being made by the rival league.

Woods received the biggest payday at $100 million, with Rory McIlroy coming in at around $50 million.

The funds were made available after a group of investors led by Fenway Sports, which also included Mets owner Steve Cohen, infused $1.5 billion into PGA Tour Enterprises in January.

In total, approximately $1 billion will be split — unevenly — between 193 golfers, according to The Telegraph.

How much a player gets is determined by career-long achievements, which is why Woods is getting paid so handsomely.

The Telegraph noted that the PGA Tour and commissioner Jay Monahan “have been at pains” to try to keep the financial breakdown under wraps, as it naturally could cause frustration from players receiving far less than the top group.

The top 36 players on the list are splitting up approximately $750 million, the 64 players who round out the top 100 are dividing $75 million, with $30 million going to the next 57 players.

The remaining $75 million is divvied up between 36 retired players who are considered living legends, per the report.

The other specific figures cited in the report were Jordan Spieth and Justin Thomas, who will each rake in around $30 million.

The influx of cash comes as the PGA Tour, including Woods, has been in talks with PIF — the financial arm of the Saudi government that funds LIV.

While the specifics on the talks have been kept tight, a framework agreement that would like merge LIV and the PGA Tour in some form has been agreed to since June.

Aside from Woods, the significant cash the players are receiving still pales in comparison to what the top stars got for going to LIV Golf.

The likes of Dustin Johnson, Brooks Koepka, Phil Mickelson and Bryson DeChambeau reportedly were in the nine-figure range — or very close to it — to defect to LIV.

Jon Rahm reportedly got a whopping $450 million to make the LIV leap in December in what many viewed as a tipping point that would push the PGA Tour closer to a merger.

However, five months later the two sides remain in a vague negotiating phase.

Rumors surfaced last week that McIlroy was possibly headed to LIV Golf for $850 million, but he shot down that possibility in an interview with Golf Channel.

“I honestly don’t know how these things get started, I’ve never been offered a number [potential deal] from LIV and I’ve never contemplated going to LIV,” said McIlroy, who is returning to the PGA Tour Players Advisory Council after stepping down last year. “I think I’ve made it clear over the past two years that I don’t think it’s something for me.

“That doesn’t mean I judge people who have gone and played [LIV Golf]. One of the things I’ve realized over the past two years is people can make their own decisions for whatever they think is best for themselves and who are we to judge them for that? For me, my future is here on the PGA Tour.”

Taylor Swift fans think the pop star could be making changes to her Eras Tour!

The Grammy winner, 34, has been sharing YouTube Shorts as of late with The Tortured Poets Department -related content. Her eleventh studio album was released just in time for the European leg of her Eras Tour and Swifties are convinced that her latest rehearsal clip hints at songs from the new collection joining the setlist.

Swift’s YouTube Shorts video is set to her new single “Fortnight,” which features Post Malone . 

In the music video for the track, the “Clara Bow” singer can be seen sitting in a room full of typewriters around the 1:39 mark. The men in the background are all wearing top hats.

Fans think that the superstar may begin incorporating elements of the new album into her shows when the Eras Tour picks back up in Paris in May.

As part of the TTDP rollout, Swift told Amazon Music that "Fortnight" "exhibits a lot of the common themes that run throughout this album," one of the biggest being "fatalism — longing, pining away, lost dreams."

"I think that it’s a very fatalistic album in that there are lots of very dramatic lines about life or death. ‘I love you, it’s ruining my life.’ These are very hyperbolic, dramatic things to say,” she said . “It’s that kind of album.”

When iHeartRadio premiered the album during a special listening event, Swift shared some more “Fortnight” tidbits.

“A lot of the songs on The Tortured Poets Department deal with the idea of heartbreak or loss in a metaphor of something else,” she said while introducing the song. 

Since the album’s extended Anthology edition was released on April 19, it has already hit 1 billion Spotify streams in under a week. 

The record-breaking 31-track album has eclipsed two of Swift's own albums — Midnights and 1989 (Taylor's Version) — which previously held the record.

Much of the album’s success can be attributed to having “Fortnight” as the breakout single. 

"I’ve been such a huge fan of Post because of the writer he is, his musical experimentation and those melodies he creates that just stick in your head forever," she wrote on Instagram after announcing it would be the album's first single.

"I got to witness that magic come to life firsthand when we worked together on Fortnight."

She could end the show with the "TTPD" set, but "Karma" is also a good show closer. Other than those two options, she could place "TTPD" after "Reputation" and before "Speak Now" or also right before "Midnights."

"A fortnight til Paris 🤍," Swift says in the caption. Her next tour stop is Paris, France on May 9. Swift will tour in Europe for 51 shows until she takes a break and heads back to the United States and Canada.

Ryan Gosling’s ‘puffy’ face has everyone concerned as he promotes The Fall Guy

Ryan Gosling fans are rather concerned as the actor has been seen looking rather ‘puffy’ while promoting his new film with Emily Blunt .

In recent weeks, the Barbie star, 43, has been promoting The Fall Guy , a new action comedy-drama in which he stars as a down-on-his-luck stuntman on a mission to save a famous actor.

While promoting this film, he has attended various junkets and interviews with his co-star Emily Blunt but he looks rather different than he has done over the past few years.

Many have noticed that the A-list hunk’s cheeks look slightly more filled, with fans suggesting he had undergone plastic surgery and potentially had dermal fillers.

Ryan himself has never openly spoken about cosmetic surgery. However, tweakments’ like this have become commonplace in Hollywood and soft tissue fillers are the second most common minimally invasive procedure.

Research suggests that in the US in 2022, more than 7.3million non-surgical cosmetic treatments -such as injectables like botox or filler- took place, showing how popular these minor treatments have become.

His new visage has caused quite a stir on social media, with fans debating between them over the cause of Ry’s ‘new face’.

Reacting to Ryan’s current appearance, @jacobpetkovic was among those speaking out, writing on X: ‘Ryan Gosling, please step away from the filler.’

‘Dude…..has anyone noticed Ryan Gosling’s face? Like why did he go and get fillers?! He looked fine before,’ @AR_Kymmers weighed in, with @harperourmaltese commenting on TikTok: ‘I was wondering what was up with his puffy face!’

However, others aren’t convinced that the actor has had any cosmetic work, with some suggesting it might be a side effect of bulking up. Some have argued that recent photos were edited.

@psychocaffeine commented: ‘I don’t think it’s fillers lol it think it’s from bulking for his latest film, the fall guy. 😂 People will find anything to say anything.’

@sydneymarie2005 said on X: ‘WHY DID THEY EDIT THESE PHOTOS OF RYAN GOSLING. Was that really necessary? He’s already attractive without surgery or edits.’

While this may seem like a recent change, one aesthetics doctor on TikTok has suggested that The Notebook actor may have been getting filler in his face for a few years. Documenting Ryan’s apparent change throughout his acting career, the doctor suggested that 2021 was likely the time the actor began getting these low-key tweakments.

Roy Cowley, Celebrity Body Fixer and Founder & Managing Director of 3D Aesthetics also told Metro.co.uk that there is an ‘obvious conclusion’ when it comes to Ryan’s recent appearance.

‘I would draw to a general rule of thumb which paints the obvious conclusion. If there is a significant localised increase in volume there are NO non-invasive procedures that can achieve this,’ he said.

‘Volume can only be increased using minimally invasive filler injections, mainly used for facial adjustment.

‘The good news for Mr Gosling is that this is not a permanent result and the effect will reverse over time which judging by comments from fans he will be very grateful of.’

Ryan’s latest film sees him star as Colt Seavers, an experienced but ageing action stuntman who teams up with his ex-girlfriend, Emily Blunt’s character Jody Monero, in order to save the lead actor in her new film.

Aaron Taylor-Johnson stars as the missing movie star alongside other actors such as Winston Duke, Hannah Waddingham, and Stephanie Hsu.

The film has already received positive reviews from critics and has broken Guinness World records on set while performing some of the stunts.

Kid Cudi won't be raging around the globe anytime soon ... his recently broken foot will require surgery and a recovery time that will keep him from touring, this according to him.

Cudi broke the news to fans on Wednesday -- saying that his Insano: Engage the Rage World Tour was canceled for good as he prepared to go under the knife.

He promised to revamp the tour once he returns back to health but is unsure when that will be ... apparently, the injury is more severe than he first thought.

The 40-year-old took a terrible tumble last weekend while attempting to jump off the massive Coachella stage ... and failed to complete his set, although the festival wasn't prepared for the technical difficulty and kept the live stream booming with no action.

Cudi owned up to no longer being a spring chicken once he was safe in bed -- at least he knows what stunts not to pull when the tour rolls back around.

The good news is fans who purchased tickets will get refunds. The bad news is Pusha T , Jaden Smith and Earthgang are currently SOL without a summer tour schedule!!!
