So along with regular food that you can get your free, you can get free dessert on your Princess cruise.

best princess cruise dessert is heart-shaped princess love boat dream

Although there are “ premium desserts ” on Princess cruises for which you need to pay extra, there are also regular desserts that you don’t need to pay extra for.

There are several places you can get free desserts during your Princess cruise.

There are desserts for free during your Princess cruise in the buffet area.

There is a special dessert section during buffet meal times, so you can look for it!

And during the day when meals aren’t being served, there are also desserts available for free in the buffet area.

Like the late afternoon hours between lunch and dinner.

There are also desserts at the International Cafe, which is usually in the piazza (atrium) area of the cruise ship.

You can also get soft serve ice cream for free on a Princess cruise ship.

And then, if you go to the main dining room for dinner or lunch, then you can also get dessert for free after you’ve finished your evening meal!

Of course, dessert menu items can vary by cruise ship!

It can also vary based on your cruise ship destination.

The dessert menu below was on a Princess cruise to Alaska, so you will notice Alaska-specific dessert items as well.

I have 9 days worth of dinner dessert menus below plus 3 days of lunch desserts menus (it was an 11-day Alaska cruise ), and you will start to notice many similar items being served throughout the cruise.

For pre-dessert food, also see the dinner food menu for the main dining room and the lunch food menu for the main dining room !

My sister is addicted to this dessert. She discovered it on her very first cruise on the Star Princess. She’s going to be so excited when I tell her I found a recipe for it.

The menu says it has a brownie base. Are you just skipping the brownie?

Here is a more recent version of the recipe from Princess cruises. http://www.tasteforcooking.com/dessert/love-boat-dream-dessert-recipe-princess-cruises/

the dessert does have a thin brownie base, neither of these versions have a brownie base.

Is there a recipe for O’Sheehan’s Neighborhood Bar & Grill’s brownie the one made with layer of cheesecake and topped with caramel sauce and marshmallows? Is this made in the Norwegian Cruise line or is it bought from another distributor? I would love the recipe for this brownie. Thank You.

Love Boat Dream

Princess has done some stupid things before, but WHY would they change a dessert that has been doing so well?  It was a favorite of SO MANY CRUISERS and was perfection (in my opinion)!  Every night that we ate in the MDR (over 14 cruises) I ordered the Love Boat Dream.  I endured teasing from my family for not trying something different, but I like what I like.  I have a peanut allergy, so I know it is safe.  I just can't believe that they messed with it.  There are so many mediocre things that they could tweak, but they do this!

Wow. I know they have changed it several times through out the years but that is definitely the biggest difference. A friend ordered it in December and it did not look like the first picture.

There is a new chef in over all charge of Princess culinary services.

I was also a big fan of the old Love Boat dream, but I had the new version a couple of times on my recent Alaska cruise on the Grand Princess and really liked it - even more than the original.  The raspberry creme brulee makes it a little lighter than the original.

I don't like flavors mixed with my chocolate.  I never ate the rasberry that was drizzled on the plate.

This came out on Valentine’s day this year on their ships.  It must have been popular?

😓   ...   It was my favorite too...  Was there any other kind of Chocolate Mouse offered?

I ordered it on the Discovery Princess a few weeks ago and was very disappointed.  Might have been slightly under the influence, and clicked in the medallion app that I wasn't enjoying the dining room.  The waiter was at my table within a minute or two and I got a chance to let him know my thoughts on the desert.

I was on the Emerald over Valentine’s Day.  We had the version before this.  Our first princess cruise was in 1999. That version of the Love Boat Dream was much, much better than the last version (second photo)  was.

There often is a sugar free chocolate mousse pie that is pretty good.

(Just looked it up and it is called: Sugar-Free Milk Chocolate Mousse Cake w/whipping cream)

I didn't see any "chocolate mice" on my last sailing.

Haha

I am really upset now 😒 I always order the Love Boat Dream as my second of my 2 nightly deserts 😒 Now I have to try to figure out what 2 deserts I'll be ordering for my next cruise....guess I'll have to start looking for more menus now. 😫

Let them know what a disappointment and mistake it was to change the Love Boat Dream.  Will do it every cruise as long as this abomination is called the" Love BoatDream"

If you aren't on the ship and you want to email them about this, does anyone have a contact email for this?

Having cruised all the major lines since reopening, I still think Princess is far better than any other line for desserts, both in the MDR and buffet. The Chocolate Journeys desserts are just beautiful and delicious, and I was so smitten with the pot de creme caramel pudding that I persuaded a pastry server in the buffet to get two a day for me to eat in my room. In comparison, I finished my first HAL cruise since shutdown, and they dropped their best desserts, including nightly creme brulee, they no longer offer an embarkation-day MDR lunch, and on sea days they only have a single MDR lunch menu for the entire cruise. I switched from HAL to Princess as my go-to line after their years of cutbacks (including no more production shows), so I'm willing to cut Princess a lot of slack in the face of crew and product shortages, higher costs for food and fuel, and the need to get back to profitability despite continued covid cases.

No!  Please say it isn’t true!  I was on Sky Princess April 23-30 and they still had the old version of the Love Boat Dream. I leave next week for Alaska on the Majestic and I’ll be so disappointed if I don’t get the original version.

I almost always order the creme brulee. Not on this last cruise because it was never on the menu!  Soooo.... I decided to order the Love Boat Dream as I remembered that I used to order that freqently on our early cruises. GAH!!! I was horribly disappointed to receive the stupid crud depicted above. What is wrong with Princess??? Why would they not offer creme brulee and the ruin the Love Boat Dream? I was sooooooooooooo disappointed. Finally, one night one of our dinner companions collared a "white jacket" in the dining room and told him how dissappointed I was about the lack of creme brulee and told him that I always order that. (Pretty much true. I probably order that 90% of the time.) He left and we kept waiting for someone to take our dessert order. Finally he came back and had creme brulee for all 4 of us. It was great (and I naturally thanked him effusively) but I really don't understand these weird changes.

I suspect the weird changes are due to the new chef in over all charge of Princess culinary services. Name of Rudy something. Saw a youtube of him cooking. He took great pride in burning the food he was cooking!!!

The original version back then:

o Had a crispy bottom, not the soft cake like bottom it has had recently.

o Had a very rich chocolate taste, not the plain chocolate pudding taste it has had recently.

o Came with a piece of Godiva chocolate on top with the Sea Witch logo on it.

I have not ordered the LBD for several years as it is just a shadow of what it used to be.

Just because it is still in the shape of a heart does not mean it is good.

I took a European river cruise a long time ago (on a European line) - they literally took a pear and made it into a dessert in the shape of a mouse. I just could not eat it.

LOL  Makes sense.  Reminds me of a chef our local (now closed) country club hired.  We live in a very blue collar area, with mostly a cheeseburger/steak/beer after golf mentality.  They hired a chef from California who brought in wine tastings and took away the hamburger and fried chicken and added squid, octopus and a few other more exotic specials.  After a few months of not selling the specials that he put out, and having to dispose of the food, and hardly anyone coming to the wine tastings...he left.   Know your clientele, improve what needs improvement and LEAVE THE GOOD STUFF ALONE!

Thank you for the great description.  I agree.  I very rarely  ordered it after the change from the first version I had.

Cruise ship tour: Last look at the original 'Love Boat'

Renamed Acif for its final voyage to the breakers, it last sailed under the name Pacific but is fondly known for its 27 year career with Princess Cruises as the Pacific Princess, television’s original “Love Boat”.

What does the death of an icon look like? Our latest Cruise Ship Tour , in the carousel above, offers a last look at one of the most famous cruise ships of the modern era, the Pacific Princess, which is being torn apart at a scrapyard in Turkey.

Recognizable to millions of Americans as the "Love Boat" of 1970s television, the one-time Princess Cruises vessel made its final voyage in August to the scrapyard after failing to sell to a new owner.

As you can see in the photo tour, by veteran cruise writer and ship photographer Peter Knego, the 42-year-old vessel is sandwiched between several other former cruise ships that are being dismantled in Turkey. In a trip down memory lane, Knego combines images taken during a recent trip to the scrapyard with historical exterior and interior shots taken over the past four decades.

Love Boat Dream?

This might be a dumb question, but do they still have this dessert onboard? The last cruise we went on in 2005, I don't remember it being on the menu, but they brought one out to me upon request. It's one of my favorite desserts. :)

Not only do they still have the Love Boat Dream, but it is available EVERY night. It is on the left side of the desert menu.

houch

The last cruise I was on they still had it, that was last Aug

RickEk

Yes, they have it, but it seems to have changed a bit over the years... I'm sure someone here can quantify what's been changed? :)

Here's what it looked like last week on the CB.

DH said it was delicious!

Mmmmm good... the Love Boat Dream! This was Feb. 07.

Princess Love Boat Dream

Makes 8 Servings

1 pound bittersweet chocolate

8 ounces sweet butter

6 large egg yolks

8 egg whites

3 ounces lady Godiva chocolate liqueur

1/2 cup superfine sugar

3 tablespoons vanilla-flavoured sugar

16 fresh mint leaves

1 ounce white chocolate

1 ounce milk chocolate

2 tablespoons strawberry piping gel

2 tablespoons bittersweet cocoa

Melt the chocolate in a double boiler. Remove from heat and add the butter. When the mixture is very smooth, quickly blend in the egg yolks and the chocolate liqueur.

Whisk the egg whites until very still, and then add the superfine sugar and flavoured sugar.

Gently fold the egg white mixture into the chocolate mixture. Pour into a heart shaped mold and refrigerate for at least 12 hours to set.

Presentation

Unmold the chocolate and place in the center of the plate. Garnish with white chocolate and milk chocolate. Pipe strawberry gel around the plate. Dust mousse with cocoa powder and garnish with fresh mint leaves.

Oh yea, it sure has changed. Nothing like it used to be. In fact, I always loved it the 'old way' but now, I don't even waste my time, it is just not a yummy as before. :( Their other desserts have gotten better, but the Love Boat Dream sure went down hill. IMHO!

Love Boat Dream

Did somebody call me????

Yes, it is still available. I agree that it has changed, but it is still yummy!

TorontoTL

I had it once on my last cruise on the Emerald and it was better than when I had it on my first Princess cruise on the Golden years ago.

It may have changed but it is still my favorite!

I think it is slightly different than on my first cruise, but it's one of my favorites at well. It's even better with a dip of vanilla ice cream!

Crzn-Life

They no longer have the original which was a Godiva chocolate made for Princess. After they did away with it, there were requests to have it back. Instead of the original Godiva version which by the way was absolutely scrumptious, they now make their own version. The one on the "always availiable" menu is a chocolate mousse concoction with Godiva liquer which is OK, but nothing special like the original was. They did away with the original about the same time they did the free cappucino.

Yay! I'm glad it's still on the menu. I hope the new version can live up to my memories. :) October needs to get a move on!

Posting the recipe for it is just bad....bad....

There you go and there you are... still delicious, but not as good as the original!

Just had it on the Island Princess. The first thing I noticed is it is now on a "brownie" crust instead of the kind of crunchy crust it used to have. Although still good, it is also not nearly as rich. The old one just oozed rich ... eating the whole thing could be hard. The new version seems lighter and not so dense.

I still enjoyed it and it gave a good chocolate taste. Just not as decadent as it once was (i.e. what the recipe that was posted indicates).

Over the years I've had about 5 variations of the original, but yes, the original was the best one. Haven't bothered the last several cruises.

WEATHER ALERT

A flood warning in effect for Livingston County

Your guide to the 2024 woodward dream cruise: what you need to know, dream cruise takes place each year on the third saturday in august.

Ken Haddad , Digital Managing Editor

DETROIT – The 2024 Woodward Dream Cruise is Saturday, August 17. Here’s everything you need to know.

The Woodward Dream Cruise is the world’s largest one-day celebration of classic car culture that attracts over 1 million visitors, and more than 40,000 muscle cars, street rods, custom, collector and special interest vehicles.

Recommended Videos

The Woodward Dream Cruise takes place each year on the third Saturday in August, and runs between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m.

What is the Dream Cruise?

In August 1995, Nelson House and a group of volunteers looked to relive and recreate the nostalgic heydays of the 50s and 60s, when youth, music and Motor City steel roamed Woodward Avenue, America’s first highway.

That year, 250,000 people participated—nearly ten times the number expected. The rest, as they say, is history.

Where is the Dream Cruise route?

The Woodward Dream Cruise spans much of the avenue: classic vehicle drivers cruise through nine participating communities (Pontiac, Bloomfield Township, Bloomfield Hills, Birmingham, Royal Oak, Berkley, Huntington Woods, Pleasant Ridge and Ferndale) in Oakland County, Michigan. Spectators and cruisers travel to Metro Detroit, the birthplace of the American automobile, to participate in an event that celebrates all things automotive.

How much does it cost?

There are no fees to cruise in the event or to watch. Anyone can participate although, those not driving a classic car are asked to stay out of the two right lanes nearest to the curb.

Where do folks park?

The Woodward Dream Cruise is a spectacular experience to drive, or, merely watch and marvel from the sidelines. Public parking is available along or near the cruise route.

Public safety info

The Woodward Dream Cruise is an alcohol-free, family-oriented event. As public safety is paramount, cruisers are asked to obey all rules of the road.

Police departments from each community patrol on foot, horseback and vehicles during the Cruise to ensure a safe and family-friendly environment for everyone. A team of amateur radio operators also serve as additional “eyes and ears” of law enforcement officials along the Cruise route.

More info at the official website.

Everything You Need to Know About Traveling on the Disney Dream

I love all five of the Disney Cruise Line ships that I’ve been on, but I seem to spend the most time on the Disney Dream ship. It’s a beautiful ship with so many things for kids and adults to do, and because of the itineraries on the Disney Dream, it’s a pretty easy cruise to take for a quick getaway.

If you plan to cruise on the Disney Dream, here is everything that you need to know, including things to do on the Disney Dream.

Disclosure: Affiliate links within. Purchasing and/or clicking on some of the links in this post may result in a commission paid to us at no additional expense to you. I have taken one discounted sailing on the Disney Dream with many more at my own cost.

The Disney Dream is the third ship in the Disney Cruise Line fleet – and the first of the larger Dream class ships (the other being the Disney Fantasy ).  It was brought into service in 2011 after a christening by Jennifer Hudson (who was once an entertainer aboard the Disney Wonder ).

It offers 1,250 staterooms and can accommodate up to 4,000 passengers. It definitely feels like a large ship – it takes a while to completely explore it. After seven different sailings on the ship, I feel like there are still areas that I haven’t explored.

Staterooms on the Disney Dream

Our family usually books an oceanview stateroom with verandah. Those offer a king bed as well as a set of bunk beds.

There are a variety of room types on the Disney Dream, including concierge rooms, verandah rooms, oceanview staterooms (with one or two porthole windows but no verandah), and inside rooms (that offer a “magical” porthole). Connecting staterooms are also available for larger groups.

Staterooms have a split bathroom (one room with a sink and toilet and one room with a shower/tub), a refrigerator, a closet, a safe, a hairdryer, and a television. Note that there are some rooms that only have one single bathroom.

Rooms include H2O toiletries that are mounted on the shower wall and generally have lots of space in various compartments for storing things. We always unpack right away and store our suitcases under the bed in our stateroom. That way, you’ll definitely have more room to move around.

Irons are not available in the room, but there are laundry rooms on the ship with iron facilities. If I need to iron anything, I like to do that on the first day so I can just hang things up and not worry about them. Check the map or ask your stateroom attendant where the laundry room is.

The beds on the ship are very comfortable – I find that I sleep so well on a cruise ship because of the light sway and the great room darkening shades.

Some rooms have bunk beds. For those, your stateroom attendant will pull down the bunk every evening and put it away in the morning if you’d like to use it. There are also rooms with trundle beds, which can accommodate up to 5 passengers.

If you are wondering what stateroom on the Disney Dream to book, you should consider how much time you plan to spend in the room, and what you plan to do in the room. When we sail, I love to grab a cup of coffee and sit outside watching the waves.

I also love watching the ship pull into port in the morning. Because of that, I’ve found that the verandah rooms are best for us. But they are definitely more expensive, so you’ll want to make sure you will use it.

If you don’t plan to spend much time in the room, an oceanview stateroom or an inside room may be a better option. It’s more economical, and you can always go on deck if you’d like to see outside. There are plenty of places to sit on the deck where you can see the ship pulling into port.

Room location may also be important to you. I generally don’t care too much, but I don’t like being right below the pool, or too close to the elevators. When traveling with friends and no kids, I like to be above the adult-only sections so they are easy to get to.

Like on the other ships, passengers on the Disney Dream often like to decorate their doors with stateroom door magnets . It’s a great way to identify your door when walking down the halls. If you want to do this, you’ll want to get prepared in advance.

My kids love picking out magnets before we leave on vacation. We typically add these to our day bag so we can decorate as soon as we are able to access our room, without waiting for our luggage.

See our in-depth review of the staterooms on the Disney Dream here .

Restaurants on the Disney Dream

What restaurants are on the Disney Dream? The Disney Dream offers the same unique rotational dining experience that the other Disney Cruise Line ships offer. There are three main restaurants on the Disney Dream – Animator’s Palate, Royal Palace, and Enchanted Garden.

You’ll be assigned a specific rotation when you arrive at the port and will have the same dining staff during your entire cruise.

If you are on a four-day or five-day cruise, you’ll get assigned one or two restaurants twice. I have a child with food allergies, so I find it helpful to have the same servers because they already know us and the food restrictions.

At Animator’s Palate, you’ll see a fun show featuring Finding Nemo’s crush. It’s the most lively of the restaurants and is always my kids’ favorite.

Royal Palace is the more upscale restaurant, featuring delicious French food (try the escargot appetizer). It seems more luxurious but is still pretty casual. My favorite menu on the ship is at Royal Palace.

Enchanted Garden is absolutely beautiful – watch as the ceiling darkens from day to night during your dinner.

In addition to the three main restaurants, there are some quick-serve options. Cabanas is the buffet restaurant that offers breakfast and lunch, in addition to the delicious evening buffet on Pirate Night . There is seating both indoors and outdoors.

In addition, you can forgo your usual dining rotation and go to Cabanas on select nights. If it’s nice outside, I’d definitely recommend grabbing your breakfast and lunch and heading outside to eat.

Cabanas is fully staffed by the regular dining room staff, so if you need any assistance, or have food allergies, you’ll definitely find someone who can help.

There are other quick-service locations that serve pizza, salads, and sandwiches. We sometimes want a quick snack and will grab a slice of pizza – especially if we have the second dinner seating.

For coffee lovers, you’ll want to check out the Cove Cafe, which serves premium coffee. It’s only for adults and can be a nice place to sit and read a book as you sip your coffee.

You can also get Dole Whips (both with and without alcohol) at Frozone Treats on Deck 11.  Room service is available to order 24 hours a day, except for disembarkation day.

For itineraries stopping at Castaway Cay , you’ll find two delicious BBQ restaurants on the family beach, as well as an adult-only BBQ restaurant at Serenity Bay. Servers from the ship travel out to the island to serve at these three locations.

For an additional fee, adults can choose to dine at Palo , the upscale Italian restaurant onboard, or Remy, the upscale French restaurant.

In addition, Palo’s often offers brunch on one day of the cruise. The brunch is absolutely delicious – I definitely recommend checking it out. While it has changed from a buffet to a sit down meal, it’s still fantastic.

If you want to eat at Palo, book it in advance so you’ll have your choice of times. The brunch especially is pretty popular and does book up.

Between Palo and Remy, you’ll find the Meridian bar, which offers alcoholic beverages in a bar with gorgeous views. I love grabbing a drink there before my meal at Palo.

If you are cruising with kids, you’ll probably find that they are happy to spend time in the kids’ clubs while you are eating. My kids usually order room service and then head to the kids’ clubs when my husband and I go to Palo.

Adult Areas on the Disney Dream

The kids’ clubs are fantastic on the Disney Cruise Line , so you’ll probably have some opportunity to explore the ship without kids. My kids always love checking out the kids’ clubs, and we even have to convince them to leave.

There are several adult-only areas and activities on the ship. The bars and clubs in the District section are adult-only in the evenings and offer entertainment and game shows.

My favorite adult-only area of the ship is Satellite Falls, which has a small waterfall/pool, as well as many lounge chairs. When my kids are in the kids’ clubs, I always enjoy grabbing a book and reading in the quiet area.

The ship also has a Senses Spa, which is a full-service spa offering lots of different services. For a treat, book a day pass for the Rainforest Room, where you can enjoy heated lounge chairs, two jacuzzis, a steam room, and much more.

Activities on the Disney Dream

There are so many things to do on the Disney Dream. You’ll even find that many guests don’t disembark at some ports because they are having so much fun on the ship. My kids especially love the kids’ clubs.

There are several options, depending on your kids’ ages, including a nursery, Oceaneer Club, Edge, and Vibe. There’s an open house that is held on the first day, so you can walk around and check things out with your kids.

There are also pools, the Aqualab splash area, and the famous AquaDuck – a watercoaster where you can travel in a tube around the ship.  At the pool deck, you’ll find the FunnelVision TV, which offers movies and shows throughout the day.

You can also see first-run Disney movies in the theater. We usually skip the movies, however, because there is so much more to do. On longer sailings, my kids love sitting in the water watching a FunnelVision movie.

Families will enjoy the various game shows and activities offered in D Lounge throughout the day. For adults, there are some alcohol-tasting classes that you can sign up for (additional fees apply).

I’ve done a few of these and have always enjoyed them – my favorite is the wine tasting. You can sign up for these once you get on the ship.

There are also a variety of character greetings throughout the day – check the Disney Cruise Line app for a full schedule. In addition, make sure that you check the navigator on the first day ., because there are sometimes character greetings that require tickets.

For those kids who love to dress up, there’s a Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique onboard, which shifts to a Pirates League on Pirate Night.

Shows on the Disney Dream

What shows are on the Disney Dream? There are three Broadway-style shows that you can see on the ship. Currently, these are the Golden Mickey’s, Beauty and the Beast, and Disney’s Believe. Read our review of Beauty and the Beast here .

These are very high-quality shows and can be great for kids. They generally run twice per night, and you’ll go to the showing that is opposite your dinner seating time. If you haven’t seen them, I definitely recommend going to each of the shows.

Itineraries on the Disney Dream

What are the Disney Dream itineraries? In the past, the Disney Dream sailed from Port Canaveral on three or four-night Bahamian sailings and was a great option for a Disney Land and Sea vacation because it was easy to combine one of these shorter cruises with a Walt Disney World vacation.

However, with the introduction of the Disney Wish , which has taken over that schedule, the Disney Dream now offers different sailings.

Home ports include Fort Lauderdale, New York, San Juan, Southhampton, and Barcelona. These cruises range in length from three to thirteen nights.

Other Things You’ll Find on the Disney Dream

In addition to everything we’ve also discussed, there are lots of other things you’ll find on the ship. These include a photo studio (where you can purchase the photos that are taken of you on the ship), a rebooking desk (book your next cruise while onboard and you’ll get a discount), a port adventure desk, a port shopping desk, and so much more.

There are also several shops onboard selling sundries and Disney merchandise. It’s important to know that these shops do not open when the ship is in port, only when it is sailing. It’s important to make sure you pack everything you need because it’s tough to buy essentials on board.

If you are wondering what a Disney Cruise costs , visit this post.

Frequently Asked Questions

The three main dining rooms are Animator’s Palate, Royal Palace, and Enchanted Garden. There are also two adult dining locations (Palo and Remy), a buffet (Cabanas), and several quick-serve spots.

Upcoming itineraries include the Caribbean, the Bahamas, Canada, Europe, and Bermuda.

They are very similar ships, with many of the same amenities. Some of the bars and lounges are a bit different. Both are great ships.

SHUTTLE SERVICE

SMART runs a free shuttle along the cruise route from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday. You can hop on and off at any RED SMART or FAST bus stop along Woodward.

The shuttles are air conditioned, wheelchair accessible and have bike racks.

DOS and DON’TS

The city of Royal Oak issued a list of “Dos and Don’ts” for the annual event, billed the largest one-day automotive event:

1. Don’t bring alcohol. It is a family event and there is zero tolerance for alcohol.

2. Don’t drive recklessly. Reckless driving, including spinning tires or revving engines, is a misdemeanor violation and you could end up with a fine of up to $500.

3. Don’t sit or stand in the median. It is used as an emergency lane. You can bring lawn chairs and sit along the curb, but don’t block sidewalks or driveways.

4. Do follow traffic laws, even if you are on a bike. A few mishaps with bikes have occurred over the years. Legally, you can ride a bike on Woodward during the cruise, but it’s not recommended. If you do, you must follow all traffic laws, which means you can’t weave between cars or ignore traffic signals.

You can ride your bike on the sidewalk, but you have to be courteous to pedestrians. It’s best just to walk your bike around.

5. Don’t use the neighborhoods as a parking lot. Cruisegoers may legally park on neighborhood streets but cannot block driveways or sidewalks. Cars can’t be left overnight. Residents need to be able to get in and out.

Police departments from each community, as well as the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office and the Michigan State Police, patrol on foot and in vehicles to ensure a safe and family-friendly environment.

The National Weather Service predicts a high of 76-80 degrees and a chance of showers and thunderstorms on Saturday.
