ABOUT ROBIN THICKE

Robin Thicke is a five-time GRAMMY® Award nominee, diamond-selling performer, actor, entrepreneur, and philanthropist. Born in Los Angeles, Robin Thicke taught himself to play piano at the age of 12 and by 16 was writing and producing songs for top R&B artists. At the age of 21, he had written and produced songs on over 20 gold and platinum albums including Michael Jackson, Marc Anthony, Pink, Christina Aguilera, Usher, Jennifer Hudson and others. One year later he signed with Jimmy Iovine and Interscope records. The musician and composer released his critically acclaimed debut album, A Beautiful World, in 2003 under the name Thicke. The collection was followed by a succession of five critically acclaimed gold and platinum selling album releases. Robin’s sixth studio album, Blurred Lines, was released in July on 2013. The album garnered four GRAMMY nominations. His 2013 sixth album, Blurred Lines crashed the Billboard Top 200 at #1 and produced the RIAA Diamond-certified title track, “Blurred Lines” [feat. T.I. & Pharrell]. The song made history, clutching #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 for 12 weeks. The hit single garnered Thicke as the first artist to simultaneously occupy the #1 spot on the Hot 100 and Top 200 since 2012, putting him in an elite group of 17 other acts to accomplish this feat in the previous decade. “Blurred Lines” scored the highest audience ever recorded and broke records by climbing to #1 on 5 radio charts simultaneously (Top 40, Rhythm, Urban, Hot AC & Urban AC) –the first time this has ever been done by an artist.

Thicke joined the panelist of judges on FOX’s dynamic reality singing competition, “The Masked Singer,” alongside Ken Jeong, Jenny McCarthy Wahlberg, Nicole Scherzinger and show host, Nick Cannon which has received tremendous rating success and critical acclaim. In 2021, Thicke ascends to new heights with his first studio album in six years – On Earth, and in Heaven – a nod to the loss and celebrations and growth through the years. The album includes the No. 1 single on the Billboard Album R&B Songs Chart, “That’s What Love Can Do,” as well as a new Pharrell collaboration with “Take Me Higher,” which has been spotlighted as the ESPN/ABC Primetime song for the NBA season.

Regarding his track with Ty, Mario told Rated R&B , “It’s about the psychological love in a relationship [and] the journey — how you can go from being in love with the person to falling out, but still being in love and being intimate, but yet things aren’t like they used to be.”

He continued, It’s about realizing where you are at that point. At the end of the day, you love each other, so y’all still probably going to f**k. It’s a little toxic, but it’s honest.”

R&B sensation Ne-Yo is making his way to Florida to perform his “Champagne and Roses” 2023 tour which kicks off early in September.

"This one's for the GROWN & SEXY!" Ne-Yo tweeted alongside the tour announcement last June 12. The concert will feature special guests Robin Thicke, famous for his controversial single “Blurred Lines,” and Mario, best known for his single “Let Me Love You.”

Live Nation organized the tour which will travel across 15 cities starting on September 9 at Detroit's Michigan Lottery Amphitheatre before ending on October 4 in Mountain View at the Shoreline Amphitheatre.

Ne-Yo first gained popularity as a recording artist through his hit single “So Sick” released in 2005. Other tracks that Ne-Yo has recorded for Motown recordings and Compound Entertainment are "Sexy Love," "Closer," "Because of You," and "Miss Independent." He recently released Self-Explanatory in 2022, his eighth studio album which critics have labeled as the "most biographical album" of all of his compositions.

The Guardian has shared their review on his latest album, stating how he successfully showcases that still-distinctive voice across all 13 tracks. Singles that have stood out the most included “Layin’ Low,” “Don’t Love Me,” and “Want It All or Nothing.”

Accompanying him on the tour is Robin Thicke, an American singer-songwriter, producer, actor signed under Star Trak Entertainment. Back in 2003, he released his debut record, titled "A Beautiful World," but is more popularly known for his 2013 hit single "Blurred Lines," which is still one of the best-selling singles to date. Pop singer Mario will also be joining the event. The artist is best known for chart-topping hits “Let Me Love You” and “How Do I Breathe.”

The concert will take place at the MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre, formerly known as the Live Nation Amphitheatre, one of Tampa's most beloved open-air venues. In 2019, the stage has been upgraded with state-of-the-art 21-foot-wide LED screens that provide an excellent concert experience wherever you are situated on the lawn.

For those seeking a more engaging experience, VIP packages will also be offered for the event which features special meet and greet opportunities and the chance to snap pictures with all of your favorite singers.

Tickets are already up for sale so grab yours now before it’s too late!

Ne-Yo, Robin Thicke & Mario at Blossom Music Center

Award-winning musician Ne-Yo announced his Champagne and Roses Tour 2023, featuring special guests Robin Thicke and Mario. The 15-city tour, organized by Live Nation, begins on September 9 at Detroit's Michigan Lottery Amphitheatre at Freedom Hill and stops in Philadelphia, Atlanta, Houston, and other cities before concluding on October 4 in Mountain View at Shoreline Amphitheatre. Ne-Yo has shown that his writing ability is just as strong as his skills in the studio and on stage. The recording artist for Motown Records and Compound Entertainment has amassed a number of songs, including "Sexy Love," "Closer," "Because of You," and "Miss Independent." In 2022, Ne-Yo released Self-Explanatory, an album that critics deemed as the “most biographical album” out of all his records.

“On his latest, eighth album, he showcases that still-distinctive voice. Across 13 tracks he meanders from spoken-register entreaties on Layin’ Low to melismatic runs on Don’t Love Me and breezy falsetto on Want It All or Nothing,” the Guardian shares.

Robin Thicke is an American singer-songwriter, producer, actor, who is signed to Pharell Williams’ Star Trak record company. His debut record, titled "A Beautiful World," released back in 2003. He is mostly known globally for his 2013 hit single "Blurred Lines" which is still one of the best-selling singles to date.

Mario Dewar Barrett, also known by his stage name, Mario was born and raised in Baltimore. At the age of fourteen, he was successful in securing a record deal with J Records. From there, his self-titled debut album was published in 2002 which included the top 10 single, "Just a Friend 2002." The pop singer is best known for his chart-topping hits “Let Me Love You” and “How Do I Breathe.”

The concert will be taking place in the Blossom Music Center, a venue designed for serious listening, unlike many open-air halls. No columns can obstruct sightlines inside the slanted pavilion, and unique amplification on the grass reaches even the farthest corners of the grounds.

If you’re looking for a more engaging concert experience, VIP packages will be available which include exclusive meet and greet sessions as well as an opportunity to take photos with your favorite artists.

Ne-Yo, Robin Thicke & Mario at Freedom Hill Amphitheatre

If you’re a pop and R&B fan, you probably don’t need to be told who Ne-Yo is. The chart-topping performer has become one of the most influential artists and record producers in modern R&B. Before hitting it big in 2006, Ne-Yo was already an accomplished record producer and songwriter. He notably penned the 2004 megahit, “Let Me Love You,” performed by Mario. But thanks to the single's success, Ne-Yo was invited to work with Def Jam Records. The partnership turned into a long-tenure contract that lasted until 2011. In 2006 Ne-Yo released his breakout hit, “So Sick,” which topped the Billboard Hot 100 and the U.K. chart. The song later certified platinum in several countries, including the U.S., due to its incredible commercial success.

Ne-Yo’s 25-year career has resulted in nine critically-acclaimed studio albums, five of which went to number 1 on the Billboard 200 or Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums. He has sold over 20 million copies worldwide and earned multi-platinum, platinum, or gold in several countries. His exemplary work has also earned him several accolades, including three Grammy Awards, two Soul Train Music Awards, and two BET Awards, among others.

When he’s not working on his own music, Ne-Yo is a music producer for other renowned artists like Jay-Z, Beyonce, Rihanna, Jennifer Hudson, Janet Jackson, and many more.

Fellow Grammy Award-winning singer, Mario, rose to prominence in 2002 with the single “Just a Friend 2022.” The song, which peaked at number 4 on the Billboard Hot 100 and number 3 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs, was featured in Mario’s self-titled debut album, which broke into the Top 10 on the Billboard 200. Two years later, Mario released the massive hit single “Let Me Love You.” The song topped the Billboard Hot 100 and was later certified platinum and multiple platinum in several countries, including the U.S.

Ten years into his career, Robin Thicke released the mega-hit “Blurred Lines.” The song topped the charts in 23 countries, including the U.S. and the U.K. The single, spawned from his 2013 album (also titled Blurred Lines), is certified diamond in the U.S. and France. Meanwhile, it also earned multiple-platinum status in several other countries. Thicke has released a total of eight albums and 30 singles. He has amassed approximately two billion streams across streaming platforms like Youtube and Spotify.

Ne-Yo, Robin Thicke & Mario at Xfinity Theatre

Grammy-award winning artist Ne-Yo announced his Champagne and Roses Tour 2023 which features special guests Robin Thicke and Mario.

“This one's for the GROWN & SEXY!" Ne-Yo tweeted alongside the tour promotional post last June 12. The 15-city tour, produced by Live Nation, will start on September 9 at Detroit's Michigan Lottery Amphitheatre at Freedom Hill and stops in Philadelphia, Atlanta, Houston, and other cities before concluding on October 4 in Mountain View at Shoreline Amphitheatre. Born in Arkansas, and raised in Las Vegas, Ne-Yo broke into the music industry as a songwriter for top-performing artists like Rihanna, Jennifer Hudson, and Beyonce. Working as a lyricist for Mario's number one pop hit "Let Me Love You", he became one of the most well-known singers during the early 2000s.

Over the years, Ne-Yo has shown that his writing ability is just as strong as his skills in the studio and on stage. The recording artist for Motown Records and Compound Entertainment is well-known for a series of hits including "Miss Independent," "Closer," "Because of You," and "Mad."

In 2022, Ne-Yo released Self-Explanatory, an album that critics deemed as the “most biographical album” out of all his records. “On his latest, eighth album, he showcases that still-distinctive voice. Across 13 tracks he meanders from spoken-register entreaties on Layin’ Low to melismatic runs on Don’t Love Me and breezy falsetto on Want It All or Nothing,” the Guardian shares.

Robin Thicke is an American artist known for flashy and contemporary hits which include the global smash "Blurred Lines." The same-titled album shot to the top of the Billboard 200 and earned a Grammy nomination for Best Pop Vocal Album. Completing the trio is the pop artist Mario, best known for his chart-topping single "Let Me Love You" amid a streak of four Top Ten R&B/hip-hop albums.

The event will be held at the Xfinity Theatre located in Hartford, Connecticut. As one of the biggest amphitheaters in the nation, it can accommodate 7,500 people indoors and an extra 22,500 outdoors on the lawn during the summer – right in time for the concert!

Looking for a ticket upgrade? VIP packages will also be available for the event. These packages include exclusive meet and greet sessions in addition to the photo-ops with each of the three singers.
