Taylor Swift has broken her silence about the planned terror attacks that saw a series of concerts on her Eras Tour canceled in Austria earlier this month.

“Having our Vienna shows cancelled was devastating,” said Swift today in a long post online.

“I Accept”: Donald Trump Falsely Claims Taylor Swift Election Endorsement

View this post on Instagram A post shared by Taylor Swift (@taylorswift)

“Let me be very clear: I am not going to speak about something publicly if I think doing so might provoke those who would want to harm the fans who come to my shows,” the Tortured Poets Department  singer went on to say Wednesday online of why she waited until after her last UK performance of the tour was in the can. “In cases like this one, ‘silence’ is actually showing restraint, and waiting to express yourself at a time when it’s right to. My priority was finishing our European tour safely, and it is with great relief that I can say we did that.”

With three arrests in the Austrian case, public safety officials in the country said that after a search in one of the radicalized suspects’ homes, police found machetes, knives, chemical explosives, ISIS propaganda, and 21,000 euros in counterfeit bills.

Coming one day after the last London show of the Eras Tour and the release of the official music video for “I Can Do It With a Broken Heart,” Swift’s remarks reflect a bit of downtime for the busy artist who has been on tour for well over a year as well as piling up on Grammys, Kansas City Chiefs games, a blockbuster movie and releasing a new album earlier this summer.

A star for over a decade, Swift has turned into a full-on cultural phenomenon over the past two years, as well as a billionaire. In that, the singer has become a political force unto herself that transcends the Blue state and Red state divide.

Last week, Donald Trump falsely claimed Swift had endorsed him as the Republican’s campaign said that “Swifties for Trump is a massive movement that grows bigger every single day.” Based on Swift’s 2020 backing of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris , as well as the ever ballooning Swifties for Harris, there was anticipation that the singer would fly into the Democratic National Convention in Chicago this week and endorse the VP. While the calendar made such an appearance possible, with Swift’s European tour over on August 20 and now no new dates until October in Miami, the reality was unpractical on a variety of levels.

“Everybody loves Taylor, but having her here would overshadow everything,” a  DNC  insider told Deadline earlier this week of a rumored appearance by the “Shake It Off” singer on August 22 as Harris gives her acceptance speech as the first Black woman nominated for president by a major American political party. “Think about it, no one would remember a word the Vice President said in her acceptance speech. All the headlines would be about Swift.”

Everything to Know About Taylor Swift’s Eras Stadium Tour

It’s finally happening!

preview for Taylor Swift’s Hidden Easter Eggs & MAJOR Fan Theories About ‘Midnights’

“I’m enchanted to announce my next tour: Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour, a journey through the musical eras of my career (past and present!),” Taylor wrote in her official tour announcement. “I can’t WAIT to see your gorgeous faces out there. It’s been a long time coming 🥰.”

The announcement comes after Taylor teased a potential tour during her October 24, 2022 appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon . When Jimmy says she hasn’t toured in four years and that fans want her to, Taylor said “I think I should do it.” And do it, she will.

Here’s everything we know about Taylor Swift’s Eras Stadium Tour, from its setlist to how you can snag tickets and merch. Of course, we’ll keep all the updates coming as Taylor hits the road.

When and where did Taylor Swift’s tour start?

The North American leg of the Eras Stadium Tour kicked off at the State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona on March 17, 2023. The city of Glendale fully embraced the honor of hosting her first Eras concert — in fact, Mayor Jerry P. Weiers of Glendale even declared that the city would temporarily be renamed Swift City for the duration of Taylor's performances on March 17th and 18th.

Mayor Weiers gave the official announcement at a press conference and made sure to incorporate plenty of T. Swift-themed puns, noting that all Swifties are encouraged to share their smiles “that could light up this whole town” on all social media platforms because “the best people in life are free.”

The U.S. Eras tour will end with a grand finale at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, California on August 9, 2023.

Which cities is Taylor Swift playing the Eras Tour?

After kicking off the tour in Glendale, Arizona, Taylor hit a ton of different cities in the U.S., from Foxborough, Massachusetts to East Rutherford, New Jersey. She initially shared the official tour dates on November 1, 2022, but she soon added eight more dates due to high demand (!!).

But, eight more shows still wasn’t enough due to increased demand, so Taylor Nation announced that 17 (!!) additional shows were added to the Eras Tour. “She gave us 8 shows last week, honey, but we want ‘em all. Due to unprecedented demand for tickets to #TSTheErasTour , Taylor has added 17 more shows in the US!,” her official fan club wrote.

And then, because Taylor is so good to us, she added one more new show in Los Angeles in the Sofi Stadium for September 7, 2023. See all her official tour dates listed below, including her incredible lineup of supporting acts.

Does Eras have international tour dates?

Yes! In June 2023, Taylor came through on her promise of crossing the pond. After the Latin American leg of the Eras Stadium Tour, Taylor will take the show to Asia, Australia, and Europe, starting February 7, 2024. She’ll begin with four shows in Toyko, and from there, will jet-set to major cities including Melbourne, Sydney, Singapore, Paris, Amsterdam, and London. Check out the full list of international tour dates below.

But Taylor wasn’t done yet. Days after her initial announcement, the artist added one new show in Los Angeles and 8 news shows in the UK and Europe . Then, on July 5, she tossed 14 more European tour dates into the line-up, extending her stay in cities including Paris, Stockholm, Lisbon, Edinburgh, Liverpool, Dublin, Amsterdam, Milan, Warsaw, and Vienna. See the complete list below.

Has Taylor Swift made any special announcements during the Eras Stadium Tour?

Taylor went back to her roots for a three-night tour in her hometown of Nashville and kicked off her weekend-long stay by announcing the official release date for her third re-release, Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) . (Funny enough, Speak Now was Taylor’s third studio album.) The Grammy winner later took to Instagram to celebrate the album's release.

“It fills me with such pride and joy to announce that my version of Speak Now will be out July 7 (just in time for July 9th, iykyk 😆),” she wrote. “I first made Speak Now, completely self-written, between the ages of 18 and 20. The songs that came from this time in my life were marked by their brutal honesty, unfiltered diaristic confessions and wild wistfulness. I love this album because it tells a tale of growing up, flailing, flying and crashing … and living to speak about it.”

Taylor also revealed that there will be new music released on the project as well. “With six extra songs I’ve sprung loose from the vault, I absolutely cannot wait to celebrate Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) with you on July 7th.”

How much is Taylor Swift expected to earn from the Eras Tour?

Taylor is raking in big coins courtesy of the Eras Stadium Tour. Bloomberg estimates that the Grammy winner could earn more than $10 million each night from ticket sales — but she isn’t the only one reaping the rewards of the tour.

According to the outlet, Eras could generate $5 billion (!) for local economies throughout the U.S., with an economic impact that’s reportedly greater than 50 countries. Bloomberg says a study from QuestionPro found that concertgoers spend an average of $1,327.74 on tickets, outfits and costumes, merchandise, food and drink, and travel combined.

Who are the opening acts for Taylor Swift’s Eras Stadium Tour?

Paramore (!!) has joined the tour. While announcing the 14 added European dates, Taylor shared that the pop-punk band will be her opening act. “I get to travel the world doing shows with @paramore!!,” Taylor wrote on Instagram. “@yelyahwilliams and I have been friends since we were teens in Nashville and now we get to frolic around the UK/Europe next summer??? I’m screaming???”

Sabrina Carpenter also recently announced that she’ll join Taylor’s Eras tour throughout Latin America. The “emails i can’t send” singer posted the official dates along with a screenshot of a 13-year-old tweet that read, “The Taylor Swift concert was amazing, had so much fun I cant wait to have a world tour someday like hers! lol with 2 sold out shows!!!!!” We’re not crying, you are. 🥹

Sabrina will be the special guest for Taylor’s Brazil, Argentina, and Mexico City performances from August 24 to November 26.

While most of Taylor’s opening acts and special guests are her friends and collaborators, there are also fresh, new artists who are getting their foot in the door with the honor of playing stadiums with Taylor Swift early in their careers. Taylor’s other supporting acts include Paramore, Haim, Pheobe Bridgers, Muna, Beabadoobee, Girl in Red, Gayle, Gracie Abrams, and Owenn.

How can I buy tickets for Taylor Swift's Eras Stadium Tour?

Following the TicketMaster debacle during the Verified Fan and Capital One pre-sales, Taylor’s team worked with the retailer to give Swifties good karma on Monday, December 12, 2022. Per NBC News , fans started receiving emails from TicketMaster that revealed they’d have a second chance at securing tickets to the Eras tour. “You were selected for this opportunity because you have been identified as a fan who received a boost during the Verified Fan presale but did not purchase tickets,” the email read. “We apologize for the difficulties you may have experienced, and have been asked by Taylor’s team to create this additional opportunity for you to purchase tickets.”

According to fans on Twitter, those who had received an official boost for the Verified Fan Pre-Sale but didn’t purchase tickets were granted an opportunity to buy a maximum of two due to high demand. Fans who received the message from TicketMaster received an individual invite to submit their purchase request before Friday, December 23, 2022. The retailer claims that invitations “will be staggered by tour dates in each city.”

For better chances of snagging a ticket, fans were instructed to register for TicketMaster’s Verified Fan program before November 9, 2022 to “ensure tickets get into the hands of fans.” The TicketMaster Verified Fan pre-sale took place on November 15, 2022, and due to unprecedented demand, tons of Swifties grew frustrated with the ticket-selling platform.

TicketMaster issued multiple statements during the chaotic Verified Fan pre-sale, which reportedly included queues of more than 20,000 people for some dates. Because of this “historically unprecedented demand,” the pre-sales scheduled for West Coast shows in Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Santa Clara, and Seattle were postponed to 3 p.m. PST on November 15, 2022 instead of its original time of 10 a.m. PST. TicketMaster also rescheduled the Capital One card member pre-sale to November 16, 2022 at 2 P.M. local venue time.

The ticket retailer included notable updates in the following Tweet:

According to TicketMaster’s official Twitter account, these are the best ticket-buying practices to ensure you secure a spot during the pre-sale.

On November 17, 2022, TicketMaster announced that the general ticket sale, which was scheduled to take place on Friday, November 18, 2022, was canceled due to “extraordinarily high demands.”

“Due to extraordinarily high demands on ticketing systems and insufficient remaining ticket inventory to meet that demand, tomorrow's public on-sale for Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour has been canceled,” the company wrote on Twitter. Greg Maffei, the CEO of Liberty Media, the largest shareholder in concert promotion company Live Nation and its ticket-selling platform Ticketmaster, also told CNBC that 14 million people tried to purchase tickets for the tour when pre-sale was launched on Tuesday to 1.5 million verified fans.

SeatGeek’s website also reported that the general sale was canceled on their platform for the same reasons.

According to a report by Variety , ticket prices ranged from $49 up to $449, with VIP packages starting at $199 and going up to $899. Notably, this did not include a meet-and-greet package as Taylor's official fan club, Taylor Nation, tends to scout super fans on social media and in the crowds at shows to meet the star for no additional cost.

While Taylor hasn’t done any official meet and greets for the Eras tour yet, she did keep a sweet promise she made to Arizona teen Isabella McCune. In 2018, Isabella went through a tragic accident that left her hospitalized with burns that covered more than 65 percent of her body. She was only 8 years old at the time, and she couldn't attend Taylor’s Reputation Stadium Tour because of her hospitalization.

Per ABC 15 , Taylor visited her longtime fan at the time and left a note that read, “Isabelle, I hope you feel better soon. I'm so honored you've been listening to my music. You're so awesome and I can't wait to have you at a show. Stay strong, gorgeous. Love, Taylor.”

Now, 13-year-old Isabella had the chance to attend the opening night of Taylor’s Eras tour in Glendale, Arizona. “Not only the fact that I'm able to go and I got these tickets gifted to me, they're from Taylor Swift and her team and they remembered me and thought of me to give me these tickets,” Isabella told the local news affiliate, adding that Taylor's "music helped [her] a lot while I was in the hospital."

Has Taylor Swift addressed the TicketMaster debacle?

The singer-songwriter originally took to her Instagram Stories on November 18, 2022, to air her frustrations and share her disappointment in the ticket-buying process.

“It goes without saying that I'm extremely protective of my fans. We've been doing this for decades together and over the years, I've brought so many elements of my career in house,” Taylor began. “I've done this SPECIFICALLY to improve the quality of my fans' experience by doing it myself with my team who care as much about my fans as I do. It's really difficult for me to trust an outside entity with these relationships and loyalties, and excruciating for met to just watch mistakes happen with no recourse.”

“It's truly amazing that 2.4 million people got tickets, but it really pisses me off that a lot of them feel like they went through several bear attacks to get them,” she added.

Taylor ended the message in sharing her hopes that there will be future opportunities for her and her fans to be together and “sing these songs.” See Taylor’s full message below.

Are there any photos from the Eras Stadium Tour?

Drop everything now — pics from the opening night of Taylor’s tour in Glendale, Arizona, are her, and she’s proven that she can still make the whole place shimmer. The singer donned custom outfits from Versace, Roberto Cavalli, Oscar de la Renta, and Albert Ferretti throughout her set, and they all captured the essence of each era, from the fringe of Fearless to the ultra-sparkly co-ord sets of 1989 . What is taylor swift’s eras stadium tour setlist.

Taylor’s set is a little longer than her past tours because of all her iconic eras. With 10 (!!) studio albums — four of which haven’t been properly supported on tour — there is a ton of new material for Taylor to explore on stage. On opening night in Glendale, Arizona, the Grammy winner performed 44 songs, which rounded out to about three hours.

Find the full setlist for the tour's opening night below.

“Miss Americana & the Heartbreak Prince” “Cruel Summer” “The Man” “You Need to Calm Down” “Lover” “The Archer” “Fearless “You Belong With Me” “Love Story” “Tis the Damn Season” “Willow” “Marjorie” “Champagne Problems” “Tolerate It” “…Ready for It?” “Delicate” “Don’t Blame Me” “Look What You Made Me Do” “Enchanted” “22” “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together” “I Knew You Were Trouble” “All Too Well (10 Minute Version)” “Invisible String” “Betty” “The Last Great American Dynasty” “August”/ “Illicit Affairs” “My Tears Ricochet” “Cardigan” “Style” “Blank Space” “Shake It Off” “Wildest Dreams” “Bad Blood” Surprise song — subject to change Surprise song — subject to change “Lavender Haze” “Anti-Hero” “Midnight Rain” “Vigilante Sh-t” “Bejeweled” “Mastermind” “Karma”

During her Arlington, Texas show on March 31, Taylor swapped out “Invisible String” — which fans believe is about her former boyfriend of six years, Joe Alwyn — for a bittersweet breakup track off Folklore , “The 1.” The setlist switch-up came amid Tay’s breakup with the Conversations With Friends actor.

The opening track off her Grammy-winning album, Folklore , includes the following lyrics:

“But we were something, don't you think so? / Roaring 20s, tossing pennies in the pool / And if my wishes came true / It would've been you / In my defense, I have none / For never leaving well enough alone / But it would've been fun / If you would've been the one.” Due to the nature of the lyrics, fans believe the song switch may have hinted at the couple’s split.

What are the surprise songs for Taylor Swift's Eras Tour?

On the first night of the tour, Taylor revealed that she’ll perform not one, but two surprise songs during the acoustic portion of the show.

“The plan, the goal, would be to play different songs every single night and never repeat one. Right? So that when you heard one on this tour, you would know it's the only time that I was going to play it in the acoustic set, unless — caveat — unless I mess it up so badly that I have to do it over again in some other city. Send your best wishes towards me that I don't do that,” the singer said, per Billboard .

The show was absolutely amazing! Definitely worth every cent. I have been obsessed with Taylor ever since 2010, and this was only my 2nd show, and I was SO CLOSE! It was so admirable that the show went on, even though there was a THUNDER STORM. I loved the fact that she really appreciates us as much as we appreciate her, and I hope she knows that I will be there for her no matter what. There was a REALLY tall person, almost like a basketball player in front of me, which was a bit disappointing because I'm so short, but for some reason, he got replaced just before the show started, and I was so glad #sorrynotsorry I'm pretty sure the security did that. ANZ Stadium you did amazing, sweetie! Love you Taylor, and can't wait to see what you do next! <3 <3

This concert was AMAZING!!!! Okay, so even though we got rained on and were soaking wet and cold by the concert's half-way point- that aside... I had so so so much fun. Taylor is one of my idols and role models and it was so great to see her live. She is such a performer and not only was the music and atmosphere so contagiously happy, but the actual show and set design and technology that made it all happen was also amazing. From the lights, to the LED screens, to the blow up snakes, it was definitely the highlight of my week, and I would OF COURSE either go see her again or recommend it to my friends and family. Thank you Taylor and crew for an unforgettable night!!!!!!!

reputation Stadium tour Seattle, 9/10. It all started when Charli XCX started singing. She was pretty good. But she probably shouted “SEATTLE!” 10 times. But the reason why I gave the whole thing a 9/10 was because Camila was not there. She had dehydration. And Taylor didn’t make up for it. Then it was TAY TAY! She came on stage with a “bad girl effect.” Singing Ready for it, I did something bad, and Gorgeous. Then it was a mashup of Style, Love Story, and You Belong With me. Then she sang look what you made me do. A HUMONGOUS SNAKE. Came out. It was so cool! Then with a gold jacket/background came End Game and King Of My Heart. Then she flew to the B-Stage while singing delicate. When she got to the B-Stage, we were SOOO close!!! She sang Shake it off with Charli. And then she got a guitar. And I freaked out. She sang Dancing with our hands tied and the mystery song. The mystery song ended up being “Holy Ground”. Then she went to the OTHER B-Stage and sang Dress and Blank Space. Then she flew on a snake cage to the main stage while singing bad blood. Then she sang SHOULDVE SAID NO. FROM 2006! I was freaking out. Then she came out and showed everyone her vocal range with Don’t Blame Me. Then she went to the piano and sang Long Live and New Years Day together. Then came purple jacketed GetaWay Car. Then there was a fountain and a mansion background and she sang Call It What You Want. Then came the last song. We are never ever getting back together/This is why we can’t have nice things. She got soaking wet in the fountain. And there were FIREWORKS!!!! It was truly amazing. Recommend it so much.

TAYLOR SWIFT | THE ERAS TOUR

*International dates to be announced

About Gracie Abrams

Since making her debut with “Mean It” in October 2019, Gracie Abrams has emerged as one of the most compelling songwriters of her generation.  She is a consummate songwriter who names iconic figures like Joni Mitchell and Taylor Swift as her most formative influences.

With the arrival of her debut project  minor  in summer 2020, she received glowing reviews from the likes of Pigeons & Planes, i-D, Vogue and NME. Executive-produced by Blake Slatkin — and also made with leading producers like Joel Little and benny blanco-  minor  features her beloved singles, “21,” and “I miss you, I’m sorry”.

In November 2021, Abrams returned with  This Is What It Feels Like , a 12-track project exploring such complex emotional experiences as self-betrayal, insecurity, and failed attempts at connection.  Abrams took on a greater role in the production process here, working with The National’s Aaron Dessner, Joel Little and Blake Slatkin to dream up each track.

Abrams kicked off 2022 with a headline tour of North America followed by a support slot on Olivia Rodrigo’s tour.  She reconnected with Dessner to release two songs this year – “Block me out” and “Difficult” – and continues to work on her debut album.

About beabadoobee

Racking up more than 4.6 billion global streams and major critical acclaim, beabadoobee has been on a skyrocketing trajectory over the past few years since the release of her first acoustic songs, crafted in her childhood bedroom. Bea’s critically acclaimed debut album Fake It Flowers established her as a one of music’s most buzzed about talents, earned her a late-night TV debut on Jimmy Kimmel Live! and drew mainstream and tastemaker praise on both sides of the pond.

Born in the Philippines and raised in London, beabadoobee signed with Dirty Hit Records following the success of her viral single “Coffee” which was sampled later in 2020’s sixth most streamed song in the world that year on “death bed (coffee for your head)”

With her flawless output of confessional bedroom pop songs and a dedicated Gen-Z fanbase, beabadoobee’s sophomore album Beatopia opened up a deeply personal world. The album received global praise and hit #4 on the UK Official Album Chart. Marking her biggest year yet with performances at Coachella, Glastonbury, Gov Ball, Reading & Leeds.

At just 22 years old, Bea has been championed by and has received major critical acclaim from Rolling Stone, Pitchfork, NPR, Vogue, Wall Street Journal, Teen Vogue, LA Times, The FADER, i-D, The Face, Dazed, Stereogum, The Guardian, New York Times and more.

About Phoebe Bridgers

Phoebe Bridgers released her debut album in 2017 as a relatively unknown singer-songwriter. In the five years since, she’s become an internationally lauded musician with four acclaimed bodies of work to her name: her solo debut,  Stranger In The Alps , the  boygenius  EP with Julien Baker and Lucy Dacus in 2018,   Better Oblivion Community Center , a surprise collaboration with Conor Oberst in 2019, and her multi-Grammy nominated sophomore album  Punisher  in 2020.

Punisher ’s release cemented her position as one of the most irresistibly clever and tenderly prolific songwriters of our era. The album gave Bridgers her first  Billboard #1  on the Emerging Artist Chart as well as Top Twenty Album Chart placings in the UK, Scotland, New Zealand, Australia, Ireland and Belgium.  Amidst late night TV performances –  including a smashing debut on  Saturday Night Live   –  sold out tours, festival appearances and work for charity, Bridgers has become a highly sought-after collaborator featured on recent releases from The 1975, Marcus Mumford, Kid Cudi, The Killers, Paul McCartney, Bright Eyes and Taylor Swift.  She was named Billboard’s Trailblazer Of The Year at the 2022 Women In Music Awards.

About GAYLE

GAYLE’s debut EP,  a study of the human experience volume one , captures the 18 year old’s most specific and vividly real emotions: the tension between longing for connection and fearing vulnerability, the risk and thrill of refusing to compromise your own needs. Released in early 2022, the project features her electrifying chart topping smash single “ abcdefu ”: a double-Platinum anthem that propelled the Nashville-based artist to over 2 billion streams globally and such milestones as being named as a Billboard Music Awards finalist, and earn such honors as American Music Award and People’s Choice Award nominations for Best New Artist, and 2 MTV VMA nominations. In the midst of navigating that whirlwind success, GAYLE headed back into the studio to create  a study of the human experience volume two —a powerful new EP that doubles down on its predecessor’s unapologetic truth-telling, with  American Songwriter  writing “GAYLE’s uncensored honesty as a lyrical storyteller is what makes her music so captivating.” Highlighted by the playfully chaotic “ fmk (with blackbear) ” and the blissful “ snow angels ,”  a study of the human experience volume two  is out now. Heralded as a magnetic live performer, GAYLE has spent the past year on a headline tour, playing alongside Tate McRae, AJR, My Chemical Romance, and at festival dates around the world.

About girl in red

The alternative pop artist from Oslo, born Marie Ulven – is continuing her path to world domination, kicking off 2022 with a  Best New Alternative Artist nomination for the iHeart Radio Music Awards.

It’s a well-deserved nod, considering she was the most played female artist on Alt Radio with “Serotonin”. The song reached #2 and spent 30 weeks on the Alt chart, 21 of those weeks in the Top 10. “Serotonin” streams currently surpass 84M for the track, with over 1.85 billion career streams to date.

girl in red spent much of 2022 on her first headline tour since the release of her debut album; she had a robust run across North America with major festival highlights including Coachella and Lollapalooza. She also had monster sets at Oya, Glastonbury and a sold out headline show at NYC’s famed Pier 17. A passionate live performer she will continue to tour, up next is a UK & EU headline run in 2023, including a sold out show at O2 Academy Brixton.

Ulven released her critically acclaimed debut album  if i could make it go quiet  in 2021, to world-wide critical acclaim from fans and critics alike. Celebrity supporters included Taylor Swift and Camilla Cabello and more. Press response was astoundingly positive, with many outlets proclaiming it  “Best of 2021”  including but not limited to Rolling Stone, Billboard, Variety, NPR, Stereogum, NYLON  and more.

In 2021, she also performed on  The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon  and  Late Night With Seth Meyers , as well as TV performances worldwide including but not limited to  Skavlan ,  Late Night Berlin  and  MTV’s EMA s.

HAIM are sisters Este, Danielle, and Alana Haim, hailing from Los Angeles, CA. The band made history as the first all-female rock group to be nominated for GRAMMY® Album of The Year with their third album, ‘Women In Music Pt. III.’ The album received two GRAMMY® nominations, the band’s single “The Steps” was nominated for ‘Best Rock Performance.’  The band again made history winning a Brit Award for Best International Group, the first time an all-female act has won this award since Destiny’s Child in 2002.  ‘Women In Music Pt. III’ was released in June and was met with an overwhelming amount of critical acclaim, rave reviews and included on a variety of year-end Top 10 lists. Named a “Critic’s Pick” by  The New York Times  and “Best New Music” by  Pitchfork , they heralded, “the third album from the trio is far and away their best. Intimate, multidimensional, and wide-ranging, the songwriting shines with personality and a great curiosity for melody and style.” ‘Women In Music Pt. III’ debuted at #1 on the Album Sales Chart, Alternative Chart and Rock Chart following release week in the US. The band also earned the #1 album in the UK, marking their second time at the top of the UK albums chart. Haim released their debut album “Days Are Gone” in 2013 which earned them a GRAMMY® nomination for Best New Artist. Renowned for their engaging high-energy live performances, HAIM have toured the world playing headline shows and festival stages including Glastonbury, Coachella, Lollapalooza, Bonnaroo, and more.  On their most recent headlining tour in support of Women In Music Part III, HAIM sold out shows at New York’s Madison Square Garden as well as Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles and 02 Arena in London

MUNA is magic. After releasing their now viral, life affirming, queer anthem “Silk Chiffon,” featuring the band’s new label head Phoebe Bridgers, the band have taken 2022 by storm. MUNA, the band’s self-titled third album, is a feat of an album — the forceful, deliberate, dimensional output of a band who has nothing to prove to anyone except themselves.

Katie Gavin, Naomi McPherson, and Josette Maskin, began making music together in college and now have become something more like family.

“What ultimately keeps us together,” Maskin said, “is knowing that someone’s going to hear each one of these songs and use it to make a change they need in their life.” And that’s what MUNA does: it carves out a space in the middle of whatever existential muck you’re doing the everyday dog-paddle through and transports you, suddenly — you who’ve come to music looking for an answer you can’t find anywhere else — into a room where everything is possible, where the disco ball’s never stopped throwing sparkles on the walls, where you can sweat and cry and lie down on the floor and make out with whoever, where vulnerability in the presence of those who love you can make you feel momentarily bulletproof and self-consciousness only sharpens the swell of joy.

About OWENN

This Summer, OWENN, the talented multi-hyphenate, brought his enigmatic spirit and smokey sense of soul to the forefront as he formally introduced himself on his debut tour, highlighted by a Main Stage East show at Lollapalooza Paris; OWENN carried the momentum from Europe having just recently opened for Lil Nas X on the two sold out New York, Radio City Music Hall shows – Long Live Montero Tour.

OWENN has attracted attention contributing dance moves on stages worldwide with A-list artists such as Beyoncé, Rihanna, Taylor Swift, Miley Cyrus, Lady Gaga, Alicia Keys, Megan Thee Stallion, Normani and others. Including, most recently working with Lil Nas X to choreograph his tv performances for MTV VMAs and live show appearances on the iHeart Jingle Ball Tour.  OWENN became a staple of Taylor Swift’s show on her  1989 Tour  and  Reputation Tour .  In 2019, he starred alongside Taylor in her video for “ Lover ,” as well as Normani in her video for “ Motivation ”.

Inspired by Prince, Marvin Gaye, Usher, Fleetwood Mac, David Bowie, and the Smiths, among others, OWENN’s emotional and spiritual approach to dance translated to writing and recording. OWENN’s debut EP will be released in fall of 2023.

About Paramore

When Paramore revealed they were recording together in January 2022 the response from music fans around the world was immediate and celebratory. In the time since the Grammy-winning, RIAA-certified multi-Platinum band released their last album,  After Laughter  – and Hayley Williams unveiled two lauded solo albums – Paramore have become more popular than ever.  Over the last few years Paramore’s influence and popularity has snowballed, as the age of streaming organically propelled them into a position as one of the world’s biggest, most culturally compelling rock bands. For the band, who formed as teenagers in Tennessee, their 20-year trajectory has seen them grow from youthful outsiders to bone-fide pop culture icons, permeating the musical landscape by inspiring a new generation of musical talent. Their forthcoming sixth album  This Is Why , set for release on Atlantic Records in February 2023, is preceded by the dynamic title track, most immediate worldwide radio hit of the band’s career to date.

Globally renowned for their arena-filling and festival-headlining performance prowess, the opportunity to see Paramore play their first theater shows in years created headline news. Their Fall 2022 and UK arena shows for Spring 2023 sold out in minutes. The band are donating a portion of their ticket sales to organizations working in areas of essential community support, including ARC Southeast, Kansas Abortion Funds, Shelter Safe Canada, Support & Feed and REVERB.

“Really can’t contain my excitement because… we’re adding 14 new shows to The Eras Tour,” Swift wrote on Twitter Wednesday, July 5. “And I get to travel the world doing shows with @paramore !! Hayley and I have been friends since we were teens in Nashville and now we get to frolic around the UK/Europe next summer??? I’m screaming???”

Last month, Swift added dozens of shows to her Taylor Swift: The Eras stadium tour — bringing the total count of shows to a whooping 104 nights . She also extended her run at Los Angeles’ So-Fi Stadium with a sixth show scheduled for Aug. 7.

The new addition comes after the singer announced shows in Japan, Australia, Singapore, and Europe earlier this week. (See below for the full tour dates.)

“EXCUSE ME HI I HAVE SOMETHING TO SAY 🙋‍♀️,” she wrote on Instagram. “I can’t wait to see so many of you on The Eras Tour next year at these new international dates!”

She also added more dates to her already-announced Latin America tour. After wrapping her U.S. dates in Los Angeles on Aug. 9, Swift will head to Mexico City for four straight shows at Foro Sol starting Aug. 24. She’ll then stop in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and both Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo in Brazil in November.

Swift first announced the tour last October after she completely took over the Billboard Hot 100 top 10 with Midnights . The added dates, which follow the addition of eight new shows last week, were slotted in “due to unprecedented demand,” according to the singer’s camp.

“Good Morning America, it’s Taylor,” Swift said during the announcement. “I wanted to tell you something that I’ve been so excited about for a really long time and I’ve been planning for ages, and I finally get to tell you I’m going back on tour. The tour is called the ‘Eras’ tour, and it’s a journey through all of my musical eras of my career.”

Across the tour, Swift is being supported in select cities by a combination of special guests including Paramore, beabadoobee, Phoebe Bridgers, girl in red, MUNA, HAIM, GAYLE, Gracie Abrams, and OWENN.

The Eras tour follows the cancelation of her planned 2020 Lover Fest tour, which was originally going to see her make stadium stops in Los Angeles, Boston, and New York, along with Brazil, Denmark, Norway, and Poland. “This is an unprecedented pandemic that has changed everyone’s plans and no one knows what the touring landscape is going to look like in the near future,” she wrote in 2021.

Swift last went the road in 2018 for her massive Reputation Stadium Tour , which saw Swift accompanied by the likes of Charli XCX and Camila Cabello across the United States, the United Kingdom, along with Australia, New Zealand, and Japan. The tour was the highest-grossing music tour by a female artist that year.

Since her last tour, Swift has released four albums and two re-releases: Lover , Folklore , Evermore , Midnights , and Taylor’s Version editions of Fearless and Red with additional songs. In total, she’s dropped 90 tracks of new material, not including collaborations with the likes of Haim and Big Red Machine.

Fans have long wondered what music she’ll be performing on the road, with some theorizing that she’d host a residency in Las Vegas or a music festival where she’d perform different “eras” on different nights.

Along with packing her setlist with songs from Reputation in 2018, she surprised each city with an acoustic rendition of fan favorites like “Red,” “Holy Ground,” and “Wildest Dreams.” At select shows, she also brought out special guests. Shawn Mendes, Selena Gomez, Hayley Kiyoko, and Maren Morris were among the artists to be brought out by Swift.

She previously took her 1989 album on the road for 85 dates, where she was accompanied by the likes of Mendes, James Bay, Vance Joy, and Haim. Before then was The Red Tour in 2013 and 2014, and her Speak Now World Tour from 2011 to 2012.

Popular on variety.

As for which album we can consider the tour to be supporting, since she has released four original studios albums since her last tour? All of them. Swift described the tour as “a journey through the musical eras of my career (past and present!),” with a graphic showing her look from different phases of her career.

See the full itinerary, with color-coded graphics indicating which of the nine opening acts got the gigs in which cities:

The public on-sale happens at 10 a.m. local time on Nov. 18. As with all major tours nowadays, there will be an earlier rollout of tickets for credit card members, in this case holders of Capital One cards, beginning Nov. 15 at 2 p.m. through Nov. 17 at 10 p.m. local times.

As with her previous tour, there will be a Ticketmaster Verified Fan program “to ensure tickets get into the hands of fans.” Aspiring ticket buyers can register for the setup now through Nov. 9 here .

Unusually in the modern era of variably priced “platinum tickets” where fans get little information about set ticket prices, Swift has announced the cost of her tickets in advance. They run from $49 up to $449, with VIP packages that start at $199 and go up to $899.

Swift’s announcement promised that international dates are to follow.

There was an attention to detail in the tour announcement even in the graphics signifying the opening acts at different spots in the tour routing, with Bridgers, for instance, being represented by a tiny ghost, in honor of the skeleton costume she’s used on her own headlining tours.

Not accidental, probably, is how that same graphic breaks the tour itinerary down into two columns of 13 dates each. There will be 27 shows in 20 cities. The venues getting a two-night stand are in Los Angeles, Atlanta, Philadelphia and Chicago, as well as Arlington, Texas; Foxborough, Mass.; and East Rutherford, N.J.

The reception for “Midnights” upon its October release left no doubt just how strong the appetite for Swift tickets will be. It had the biggest week since Adele’s “25” album, per Luminate this week, with 1,578,000 album-equivalent units. Additionally, it was announced Monday that for the first time in history, all 10 top slots of the Billboard Hot 100 were filled by a single artist’s songs, with “Anti-Hero” leading the way at No. 1. Fans very much wanted the full album, anyway — of the nearly 1.6 million album units registered for “Midnights,” 1,140,000 were copies purchased in the form of the full album. It became Swift’s fifth album, out of her 10 original studio releases overall, to sell a million-plus copies in the first week out. The figure also represented the best first-week sales for an album by any performer since “Reputation” came out of the gate with 1,216,000.

The “Eras Tour” is being produced in-house by Taylor Swift Touring and promoted by the Messina Touring Group.

The tour’s opening acts expressed their enthusiasm in their own ways, such as the tweet from Muna that declared the group “gay for Tay” and pictured the trio in miniature, resting atop Swift’s lighter on the “Midnights” album cover.

Taylor Swift adds 7 new songs to her Eras Tour — plus all the other changes she's made to the show

"The Tortured Poets Department" has officially joined the setlist.

taylor swift tour logo

Taylor Swift is fresh out the slammer, and right back into the Eras Tour grind.

Swifties everywhere had been anticipating her Thursday show in Paris because it's the first concert of her worldwide tour since the release of her 11th studio album, The Tortured Poets Department , which dropped on April 19. Since she first announced the record, fans have wondered if she would incorporate it into her nearly three-and-a-half-hour Eras performances, and what songs may get cut or changed to accommodate it.

Speculation went into overdrive recently when Swift posted a YouTube Short of herself preparing for the tour that included what looks like a new mic, set pieces, and choreography — strongly implying that the first major changes to Eras were imminent.

Swift has made small tweaks to the show, like adding "Long Live" to the "Speak Now" section when that re-recorded album came out during the tour, or swapping out "Invisible String" for the "The 1" in the "Folklore" set in the wake of her breakup with Joe Alwyn . But adding a whole new era would be the most seismic shift yet, and all eyes were on the City of Light to see if and how the singer-songwriter did it.

So, come one, come all, [the Eras Tour] is happening again — and Entertainment Weekly has highlighted all of its changes below.

Sign up for Entertainment Weekly 's free daily newsletter to get breaking TV news, exclusive first looks, recaps, reviews, interviews with your favorite stars, and more.

"Tortured Poets" added to the intro mash-up

While the introduction to the first Era of the evening, "Lover," remained largely the same, the audio that plays before Swift takes the stage — which includes snippets from all of the show's featured albums — boasted a short bit from her new song "The Tortured Poets Department," off her latest album of the same name. The singer also debuted a new orange-tinted bodysuit and matching jacket during the first era.

"The Archer" cut from the "Lover" set

The "Lover" set used to end with "The Archer" and go straight into Swift's "Fearless" era, but no more. Now the set ends after "Lover." But its stunning transition with the sparkler effect is still intact.

A new "Fearless" dress

Swift donned a shimmery fringe dress in her second album's era.

The set order changed!

Instead of "Fearless" giving way to the "Evermore" era, Swift transitioned to the "Red" set — though the music box mime that previously kicked off the era is still in the show. This was the first indication of the night that major changes were coming to the tour, and it meant the entire performance will now unfold in a different order. The new order is:

"Lover" "Fearless" "Red" "Speak Now" "Reputation" "Folklore + Evermore" "1989" "The Tortured Poets Department" Surprise songs "Midnights"

Kevin Mazur/TAS24/Getty

"Red" got some updates

Swift debuted a new shirt during the top of the "Red" set that reads: "This IS NOT Taylor's Version." She also made remarks to the crowd before performing the 10-minute version of "All Too Well." Previously, she engaged with the audience like this during the "Evermore" era.

"Speak Now" got new visuals, but "Long Live" got cut

The era for Swift's third LP, Speak Now , began with a new, prolonged choreographed number accompanying instrumentals from the album before the singer eventually showed up (in a new ballgown, naturally) to sing "Enchanted." The visuals on the big screen were also new — but still very purple, of course.

However, fan-favorite Speak Now track "Long Live" did not survive this set, meaning "Enchanted" is now the sole song for this era.

"Folklore" and "Evermore" were combined

Featuring an updated intro with tweaked visuals and instrumentals, the "Folklore" set also started with a completely different song. Previously, the era began with Swift atop a cabin singing "The 1," but now she kicks things off with "Cardigan." But Swift — who also wore a new yellow dress for the set — still gave a little speech before performing "Betty." Instead of going right into "The Last Great American Dynasty," however, she revealed another twist: The eras for her 2020 sister albums, Folklore and Evermore, have officially been combined. She then proceeded to play "Cardigan."

The setlist for this new sister era is: "Cardigan" "Betty" "Champagne Problems" "August" "Illicit Affairs" "My Tears Ricochet" "Marjorie" "Willow"

This means the following songs were cut from the "Folklore" and "Evermore" sections: "'Tis the Damn Season," "Tolerate It," "The 1," and "The Last Great American Dynasty."

A new 'fit for "1989"

The singer debuted a new multicolor separate set for this era, complete with mismatched shoes.

"The Tortured Poets Department" makes its Eras debut

After "1989," new literary-themed visuals floated on the big screen, paving the way for the first new era of the tour: "The Tortured Poets Department." Naturally, this meant brand-new choreography and costumes, as well as black-and-white visuals throughout — of a haunted house, alien spaceships, and the asylum from the "Fortnight" music video . The platform on the stage also seemed to move around the set in ways we haven't seen before as the singer performed on top of it. At one point, Swift was picked up off the ground and forced to change on stage as circus-type music played in the background. She then segued this into "I Can Do It With a Broken Heart," which featured several old Hollywood motifs and choreography involving top hats and canes. The "The Tortured Poets Department" setlist includes:

"But Daddy I Love Him" and "So High School" mash-up "Who's Afraid of Little Old Me?" "Down Bad," which segued into "Fortnight" "Fortnight" "The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived" "I Can Do It With a Broken Heart"

Surprise songs

Nothing changed in this section of the tour besides Swift donning a new magenta dress. But she performed "Paris" on guitar and the TTPD track "Loml" on piano, officially confirming that the new album could be performed in the acoustic set from here on out.

A "Midnights" costume change

Swift debuted what seemed to be a new "Midnights" bodysuit during her performance of "Midnight Rain." This era was otherwise unchanged.

New Eras Tour merch!

Immediately after the show, the singer's website was updated with new merchandise featuring an Eras Tour logo with Tortured Poets art front and center — previously, a Midnights promo shot was used. The new merch curiously features names such as "The Eras II Tour Gray Crewneck."

Dancer Kameron Saunders falls onstage during Taylor Swift's 'Eras Tour'

Kameron Saunders and Taylor Swift on stage.

Dancer Kameron Saunders is joining in on the  viral “demure” TikTok trend  after a recent fall on stage during one of Taylor Swift’s “Eras Tour” concerts.

Saunders, who has been busy dancing alongside the pop star for her  series of shows at London’s Wembley Stadium , took a spill while Swift performed “The Tortured Poets Department” section of her set.

The dancer, whose  brother is former Kansas City Chiefs player Khalen Saunders , poked fun at his gaffe in a funny  Instagram  post Aug. 17. He uploaded a clip of him slipping and added an audio recording of record scratch and a voiceover that said, “Yep, that’s me. You’re probably wondering how I ended up in this situation.”

His stumble then played in slow motion before Saunders stood up and caught up to Swift, who didn’t seem to notice his fall as she sang “I Can Do It With a Broken Heart.”

In the caption, Saunders continued to laugh at himself and referenced the latest TikTok trend from  creator Jools Lebron  about being “very demure” and “very mindful.”

“You see how I didn’t trip boss lady when I ate s— last night?” he said, referring to the “Fortnight” singer.

He playfully added, “Veryyyy MINDFUL veryyyy Demure,” with a few sparkles emoji.

Saunders assured concerned fans that he was OK after the stumble. “I saw all of your kind ‘he’s such a professional. jumped right back into the choreography’ comments. I’m fine. Promise,” he wrote.

He included a few crying-laughing emoji and said, “Just a bit of an ego check falling in front of 92,000 people! BUT this deserved a laugh. Enjoy!”

Swifties teased him in the comments by altering a few of Swift’s song titles to fit the occasion.

“Kam can do it with a broken hip,” one joked.

Another said,  “thanK you AMiee,” adjusting spelling and capitalization  to align with the dancer’s name.

A third commented, “Miss Americana and the Hip Break Prince,” a play on “Miss Americana & the Heartbreak Prince.”

One Swiftie complimented Saunders’ professionalism while using the lyrics to “I Can Do It With a Broken Heart.” She said, “But he was hitting his marks…..You are amazing,” and added a red heart.

Saunders’ most recent post wasn’t the first time he participated in the “very demure” trend. For each of the “Eras Tour” concerts, Saunders says a funny phrase when Swift turns to him during the bridge of “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together.”

At one London show, Saunders put on his best British accent to say  “Are you mad?”  before Swift belted out the chorus.

He shared a video of the moment on Instagram and wrote in the caption, “You see how I ask ‘are you mad?’ in my posh British accent….verrrryyyyyyyy demure.”

The “very demure” trend has taken over the internet this month thanks to Lebron’s TikTok posts about being “modest and respectful” in the workplace. One of Lebron’s videos has reached over 3 million likes on the social media platform.

In an update on Aug. 14, Lebron, who is transgender and uses she/her pronouns, revealed in a  TikTok video  that the success of the “very demure” trend has changed her life.

“Maybe you should make the videos,” she encouraged fans. “Because one day I was playing cashier and making videos on my break, and now I’m flying across the country to host events, and I’m going to be able to finance the rest of my transition.”

After making stops across the US, Mexico, South America , Japan, Australia, and Singapore , Swift will continue to perform throughout 2024 in Europe , plus a second North American leg scheduled for later this year.

On Thursday, Swift resumed The Eras Tour in France after a multi-week hiatus.

"These are songs that I have written about my life or things I felt at one point in time," she says in the concert movie. "But after tonight, when you hear these songs out and about in the world, my dream is that you're gonna think about tonight, and the memories we made here together."

The third single from "Red," coproduced by Max Martin and Shellback, peaked at No. 2 on the Hot 100.

"All Too Well (10 Minute Version)"

taylor swift tour logo

The extended version of "All Too Well" was released as the final track on " Red (Taylor's Version) " after years of fan anticipation.

It debuted at No. 1 on the Hot 100, becoming the longest song ever to hold the chart's top position.

"Enchanted"

taylor swift tour logo

"Enchanted" is the only song from Swift's third album, "Speak Now," that she currently performs during The Eras Tour.

For a brief time, following the release of " Speak Now (Taylor's Version) ," Swift added the fan-favorite deep cut "Long Live" to the set list. It has since been removed.

"…Ready for It?"

taylor swift tour logo

"…Ready for It?" was originally teased during ABC's "Saturday Night Football" broadcast in 2017. It was later used by ESPN in college football commercials.

"Delicate"

Swift's performance of "Delicate" during The Eras Tour features a stage animation that cracks beneath her feet .

"Don't Blame Me"

"Don't Blame Me" is the sole non-single that Swift performs during the tour's "Reputation" segment. The fan-favorite track is often cited as a highlight of the show .

"Look What You Made Me Do"

taylor swift tour logo

"Look What You Made Me Do," which interpolates Right Said Fred's '90s hit "I'm Too Sexy," was released as the lead single from "Reputation" and debuted at No. 1 on the Hot 100.

"Cardigan"

taylor swift tour logo

The No. 1 single "Cardigan" was released alongside Swift's beloved album " Folklore ." The song references Peter Pan and introduces the album's "teenage love triangle."

"Betty"

taylor swift tour logo

"Betty" is told from the perspective of a high schooler named James , who broke the heart of the titular heroine.

"Champagne Problems"

taylor swift tour logo

The heart-wrenching piano ballad "Champagne Problems" often inspires a minutes-long standing ovation during The Eras Tour.

"August"

taylor swift tour logo

Swift's debut performance of "August" took place at the 2021 Grammy Awards. Later that night, she won album of the year for "Folklore," her record-tying third trophy in that category.

"Illicit Affairs"

taylor swift tour logo

"Illicit Affairs" is widely interpreted as a song about marital infidelity, though its descriptions of forbidden love and "clandestine meetings" adopt new meanings through a queer lens .

"My Tears Ricochet"

taylor swift tour logo

In Swift's own words , "My Tears Ricochet" was inspired by the image of an "embittered tormentor showing up at the funeral of his fallen object of obsession."

"Marjorie"

taylor swift tour logo

"Marjorie" is named after Swift's late grandmother, Marjorie Finlay , an opera singer who died in 2003. Finlay is credited with background vocals in the song.

"Willow"

taylor swift tour logo

"Willow" was promoted as the lead single from " Evermore ." Like "Cardigan," it was released simultaneously with its parent album and debuted at No. 1 on the Hot 100.

"Style"

taylor swift tour logo

Swift briefly dated Harry Styles before releasing her fifth studio album, "1989."

When Rolling Stone asked about the inspiration behind the album's third track, "Style," she replied, "We should have just called it 'I'm Not Even Sorry.'"

"Blank Space"

taylor swift tour logo

"Blank Space" is a widely celebrated satire about Swift's reputation as a "serial dater."

"'She only writes songs to get emotional revenge on guys. She's a man-hater. Don't let her near your boyfriend,'" Swift explained at the time. "It was just kind of excessive and, you know, at first it was hurtful and then I kind of found a little comedy in it."

The song dethroned "Shake It Off" at No. 1 on the Hot 100, making Swift the first and only woman in history to replace herself in the chart's top spot. (She has since done it twice.)

"Shake It Off"

taylor swift tour logo

"Shake It Off" was released as the lead single from "1989," Swift's official pivot from country to pop music .

The song became her first to debut at No. 1 on the Hot 100 and remained there for four weeks. It also inspired a sketch on "Saturday Night Live"  about adults realizing they love Swift's music.

"Wildest Dreams"

taylor swift tour logo

"Wildest Dreams" was released as the first rerecorded song from "1989 (Taylor's Version)."

"Bad Blood"

taylor swift tour logo

"Bad Blood" was famously inspired by Swift's then-feud with Katy Perry , whom Swift accused of trying to "sabotage" her "Red" tour. (The two pop stars have long since buried the hatchet .)

The remix includes a feature from Kendrick Lamar , who returned to rerecord his verse for "1989 (Taylor's Version)."

"But Daddy I Love Him"

taylor swift tour logo

Following the release of her massive double album , "The Tortured Poets Department: The Anthology," Swift added seven brand-new songs to The Eras Tour setlist.

The first is "But Daddy I Love Him," a sharp rebuke of Swift's own fans , many of whom criticized her dating life last year.

"So High School"

taylor swift tour logo

"So High School" is widely presumed to be about Swift's current boyfriend, NFL star Travis Kelce . The song's lyrics seem to reference their different professions: "You know how to ball, I know Aristotle."

"Who's Afraid of Little Old Me?"

taylor swift tour logo

Swift is the only songwriter credited for "Who's Afraid of Little Old Me?"

The song title is likely inspired by "Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?" — a celebrated play written by Edward Albee that tackles themes of truth versus illusion, fate versus choice, and feeling trapped.

"Down Bad"

taylor swift tour logo

"Down Bad" is a heartsick serenade that compares falling in love to being abducted by aliens.

"Fortnight"

taylor swift tour logo

"Fortnight" was promoted as the lead single from "The Tortured Poets Department," alongside a music video that costars Post Malone and references "Dead Poets Society."

"The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived"

taylor swift tour logo

"The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived" is a scathing breakup song that may have been inspired by Matty Healy , whom Swift dated while writing "The Tortured Poets Department." According to reports, their relationship lasted about one month .

"I Can Do It With a Broken Heart"

taylor swift tour logo

In a meta twist, "I Can Do It With a Broken Heart" was apparently inspired by The Eras Tour itself. The lyrics seem to reference a string of concerts last year, when Swift felt "miserable" but continued to perform as usual ("They said, 'Babe, you gotta fake it 'til you make it,' and I did").

Surprise Song No. 1

taylor swift tour logo

During each show on The Eras Tour, Swift performs a two-song acoustic set that changes every night . The first song is always played on acoustic guitar.

The first-ever surprise song Swift played in Arizona was "Mirrorball." For the first stop on the European leg, she chose the "Midnights" bonus cut "Paris."

Surprise Song No. 2

taylor swift tour logo

The second surprise song of the evening is always played on the piano.

In Arizona, Swift's first-ever surprise song on piano was "Tim McGraw," the lead single from her 2006 debut album. For night one in France, Swift played the "Tortured Poets" heartbreaker "Loml."

"Lavender Haze"

taylor swift tour logo

"Lavender Haze" is the opening track on Swift's 10th studio album " Midnights ."

"Anti-Hero"

taylor swift tour logo

"Anti-Hero" was promoted as the lead single from "Midnights." It debuted at No. 1 and became Swift's biggest hit to date, reigning atop the chart for eight weeks.

The same week that "Anti-Hero" arrived in the top spot, Swift became the first and only artist in history to  occupy the entire top 10 on the Hot 100 .

"Midnight Rain"

taylor swift tour logo

"Midnight Rain" doubles as a breakup song and an ode to Swift's own ambitions: "He wanted it comfortable, I wanted that pain / He wanted a bride, I was making my own name," she sings, calling back to the rejection of '50s gender roles in "Lavender Haze."

"Vigilante Shit"

taylor swift tour logo

Put simply, "Vigilante Shit" is about getting revenge. Many fans believe the song was inspired by Scooter Braun , who purchased Swift's back catalog in 2019. Less than two years later, he sold Swift's master recordings to a private equity company .

"Bejeweled"

taylor swift tour logo

The music video for "Bejeweled"  includes a variety of celebrity cameos, including Laura Dern, the Haim sisters, and Dita Von Teese.

"Mastermind"

taylor swift tour logo

In the chorus of "Mastermind," Swift seems to serenade her longtime fans: "What if I told you I'm a mastermind? / And now you're mine."

The song also references Swift's penchant for Easter eggs and her keen business acumen, which has allowed her to build a billion-dollar empire .

"I'm sick of women not being able to say that they have strategic business minds — because male artists are allowed to," Swift told Rolling Stone in 2019. "And so I'm sick and tired of having to pretend like I don't mastermind my own business."

"Karma"

Swift closes the elaborate show with "Karma," a song that mocks her enemies and salutes her own longevity: "Ask me what I learned from all those years / Ask me what I earned from all those tears / Ask me why so many fade, but I'm still here."

From the film's runtime to its streaming release date, here's everything to know about Swift's theatrical event

If you haven't seen Taylor Swift 's The Eras Tour — or simply want to relive the experience — a film version of the concert was released to capture Swift's career-spanning show in all of its glory.

In the midst of the tour, which launched March 13, 2023 and continues through Dec. 8, 2024, the Grammy-winning superstar's Taylor Swift The Eras Tour concert film was announced, and Swifties instantly scrambled for tickets.

Thousands of AMC Theatres and other participating cinemas across the globe screened the filmed performance throughout fall 2023, and attendees brought the energy from the live show to the movie theater — going all out by wearing the same looks they wore to the stadium. "Eras attire, friendship bracelets, singing and dancing encouraged," posted Swift, 33, on social media when she announced the film in late August.

"The Eras Tour has been the most meaningful, electric experience of my life so far and I’m overjoyed to tell you that it’ll be coming to the big screen soon," wrote the "All Too Well" singer-songwriter.

From the film's run time to its streaming release date and more, keep reading for everything to know about Taylor Swift The Eras Tour concert film.

When did Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour concert film premiere in theaters?

The concert film arrived in theaters across the globe on Oct. 13 — a nod to the pop icon's lucky number, no less. While the theatrical event was originally supposed to only hit cinemas in North American on the date, with dates in other countries to follow, in late September the hitmaker announced that Oct. 13 would officially be the worldwide release date .

“The tour isn’t the only thing we’re taking worldwide…….. 🌎,” Swift wrote on Instagram announcing the news at the time. “Been so excited to tell you all that The Eras Tour concert film is now officially coming to theaters WORLDWIDE on Oct 13!”

The Grammy winner also surprised fans at the film's premiere event held at The Grove's AMC theater in Los Angeles on Oct. 11 when she revealed that there would be special early screenings on Oct. 12 at select cinemas in the U.S. and Canada.

Advanced tickets to the "theatrical concert experience" were originally offered by AMC Theatres, which began by showing the movie four times a day on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, while other participating cinemas followed with their own schedules.

How much did tickets for Taylor Swift The Eras Tour concert film cost?

Tickets for the film cost $19.89 (plus tax) for adults and $13.13 (plus tax) for kids and seniors on all screens.

The theatrical concert experience was also available on premium large format screens at AMC, including IMAX and Dolby Cinema, for an additional charge.

Where can fans purchase tickets to see Taylor Swift The Eras Tour concert film in theaters?

Taylor Swift The Eras Tour remains showing in select theaters and anyone who still wants to see it on the big screen can head to AMC Theatres' website to purchase tickets.

When tickets first became available, the demand was extremely high and broke records . At the time, AMC Theatres revealed it had increased its ticket server capacity to handle over five times more traffic than “the current record for the most ever tickets sold in an hour.”

Where was Taylor Swift The Eras Tour concert film screened?

Swift's theatrical event was shown at every AMC Theatres location throughout the United States — and there are approximately 950, according to the company's website . However, some theaters showed the concert film on multiple screens, so fans can choose from thousands of options to attend.

Upon its release, the project directed by Sam Wrench was also shown at additional multiplex chains and independent cinemas, as well.

How long is Taylor Swift The Eras Tour concert film's runtime?

The version of the concert movie released to theaters ran at 2 hours and 45 minutes — which is not as long as the actual Eras Tour, which runs for more than 3 hours and 15 minutes. Condensed transitions and song introductions contributed to the shortened run time , as did the exclusion of several songs on the setlist.

As the documentary was filmed during the first three nights of  her six-night stop in Los Angeles , when compared to the setlist at the shows, the tracks that didn't make the cut into the film are: "No Body, No Crime" with Haim, "Long Live," "Wildest Dreams,” The Archer" and "Cardigan."

Although some footage was cut from the theatrical release, fans will be able to watch even more material at home. When the "Cruel Summer" singer announced the on-demand release date for Taylor Swift The Eras Tour , she revealed that "The Archer," "Long Live" and "Wildest Dreams" will be added back in, seemingly elongating the run time by about 15 minutes.

Was merchandise available for Taylor Swift The Eras Tour concert film?

Ticket holders for the concert film at AMC Theatres received a free mini poster of Swift performing on stage alongside the Eras Tour logo. Additionally, special Eras Tour popcorn tubs and collectible cups were available for purchase of either a large popcorn or large fountain drink, respectively, at AMC Theatres while supplies lasted. The popcorn and tub cost $14.99 (plus tax), and the collectible cup and large fountain drink cost $11.99 (plus tax).

When will Taylor Swift The Eras Tour concert film be available on streaming services?

The concert film will officially become available to rent on demand in the U.S. and Canada on Dec. 13 — none other than Swift’s birthday. The singer-songwriter announced the rental release date in late November so fans could join in on her birthday celebrations the following month.

On Instagram she shared, “Well, so, basically I have a birthday coming up and I was thinking a fun way to celebrate the year we’ve had together would be to make The Eras Tour Concert Film available for you to watch at home!”

The hitmaker also revealed that the songs that were cut from the theatrical release of the film for its runtime, including “The Archer,” “Long Live” and “Wildest Dreams,” will be included in the on-demand version.

While Swift revealed that the rental will become available in additional countries soon, it’s yet to be announced when (or if) the film will hit streaming services. In the past, she’s previously released films for The 1989 World Tour on Apple Music, as well as the Reputation Stadium Tour on Netflix. The Miss Americana documentary was also released on Netflix.

How did Taylor Swift The Eras Tour perform at the box office?

The Midnights artist ended up breaking records with the release of her Eras Tour concert film. Even before the movie arrived in theaters, due to advanced ticket sales, it became the biggest concert film debut of all time . By earning $92.8 domestically during its opening weekend , it shattered records and beat out Justin Bieber 's  Never Say Never  concert film, which grossed $73 million total over the course of its 2011 domestic run.

Taylor Swift has broken yet another record with her worldwide Eras Tour .

With her final show of the European left of her massive tour, the superstar became the solo artist to play London’s famous Wembley Stadium the most times in a single tour.

“You just made me the first solo artist to ever play Wembley eight times in a single tour,” she told fans at the surprise-filled Tuesday show, per BBC . “We will never, ever be able to thank you enough for it.”

Swift played Wembley Stadium more than any other stadium throughout her ongoing tour, during which she mostly stopped for three nights in cities around the world.

“I’ve always loved playing for you here in London, but this is the best,” she said during the show on Tuesday. “I’ve never had it this good before. I’ve never had a crowd that’s so generous. You seem to have memorized every single lyric of every single song, and that’s a dream come true.”

The record-breaking performance was also full of surprise appearances from Swift’s collaborators and the Eras Tour debut for beloved The Tortured Poets Department songs “Florida!!!” and “So Long London.”

The Grammy-winning artist brought out her frequent producer Jack Antonoff to perform a medley of “Death by a Thousand Cuts” and “Getaway Car.” Florence Welch (of Florence + the Machine) also took the stage to perform “Florida!!!” with Swift during the show.

At the end of the show, the singer-songwriter premiered the music video for “I Can Do It With a Broken Heart ,” despite Swifties thinking she would finally announce Taylor’s Version of Reputation . The nearly four-minute video features behind-the-scenes footage from Swift’s concerts.

The Eras Tour takes a break for the next two months and picks back up on Oct. 18 in Miami.
