Drake, Blink-128, Billie Eilish To Headline Lollapalooza Chile, Brazil, Argentina

Tame Impala, Lil Nas X, and Rosalía round out the headlining slate.

A star-studded line-up is set for Lollapalooza’s three South America festivals in Chile, Argentina, and Brazil. Drake, Billie Eilish, Rosalía, Tame Impala, Lil Nas X, and the newly-reunited Blink-182 will all each headline come 2023.

As with previous years, the three festivals will share a largely identical line-up down the bill save for the smaller acts which are different for each country. In addition to the headliners, mid-tier acts like The 1975, Jane’s Addiction, Jamie xx, Kali Uchis, Fred again..., Tove Lo, Dominic Fike, Melanie Martinez, Tokischa, Alison Wonderland, and many more are also scheduled to play.

As pointed out by Consequence , these dates will be the first-ever South American live shows for Billie Eilish and Blink-182, who announced their surprise reunion on Oct. 11. Eilish was previously scheduled to play several cities throughout South America in 2020 for her Where Do We Go? World Tour, though was ultimately unable to after the tour was prematurely cancelled in March 2020. Drake will also play Argentina and Chile for the first time.

The three festivals will take place within days of each other. Lollapalooza Chile kicks off March 17-19, 2023 at Parque Cerrillos, while Lollapalooza Argentina happens the same weekend, March 17-19, 2023, at the Hipódromo de San Isidro . Lollapalooza Brazil will take place the following weekend, March 24 - 26, 2023, at Autódromo de Interlagos in São Palo.

In addition to the South American offshoots, Lollapalooza has also launched festivals in Berlin, Germany, Sweden, Paris, France, and most recently announced its first-ever festival in Mumbai, India in 2023.

Lollapalooza’s flagship festival in Chicago, IL, has confirmed its 2023 dates for August 3-6, though hasn’t yet confirmed its lineup.

Lollapalooza in South America is produced by Perry Farrell, C3 Presents, Lotus Producciones (Chile), DF Entertainment (Argentina), and TIME FOR FUN (Brazil).

Earlier this year, Joseph Quinn, who plays metalhead Eddie Munson in Stranger Things , met Eddie’s idols, Metallica , at Chicago’s Lollapalooza fest.

On the Netflix show’s most recent season, Quinn’s character jams out on Metallica’s “Master of Puppets” in a key scene and, as with the recent renaissance of Kate Bush’s “Running Up That Hill,” the placement had a huge effect, bringing Metallica’s track back to the Billboard charts for the first time since 1986, and into the Top 40, no less.

Quinn enjoyed a pre-show hang at the festival with the band, where they chatted about the use of their song in the show. James Hetfield shared the fact that watching the show with his kids has been a bonding experience for him and his family, and expressed his gratitude for Quinn and Stranger Things doing right by the song.

Drake, Billie Eilish, And Blink-182 Will Headline Lollapalooza’s 2023 Festivals In Brazil, Chile, And Argentina

Megan Armstrong

Blink-182 started this morning (October 11) with a blast from the past, but Lollapalooza is looking forward to 2023. Blink, Billie Eilish , Drake , Lil Nas X , Rosalía , and Tame Impala were announced as headliners for next year’s Lollapalooza festivals in Argentina (from March 17 to 19), Brazil (March 24 to 26), and Chile (March 17 to 19). Tickets are available now.

The concerts will bring Blink, Eilish, and Lil Nas X to South America for the first time, while Drake will stage his first-ever shows in Argentina and Chile, per release.

Drake made headlines last week by teasing his Apollo Theater debut in November. Eilish recently wrapped her Happier Than Ever World Tour , and Lil Nas X is fully immersed in his Long Live Montero Tour . Rosalía is riding the high of Motomami , and Tame Impala recently joined forces with Gorillaz. But all eyes are on Blink.

Earlier this morning, the pop-punk icons confirmed long-swirling rumors, and Tom DeLonge is officially reunited with Mark Hoppus and Travis Barker for a brand new album and world tour. It began with a ( very Blink) tongue-in-cheek teaser video, and this era’s first single “ Edging ” is due Friday (October 14).

Other artists set to take the Lollapalooza stage across Argentina, Brazil, and Chile include Jane’s Addiction , The 1975 , Armin Van Buuren, Jamie xx , Kali Uchis, Claptone, Fred Again.. , Mora, Tove Lo, Alison Wonderland, Gorgon City, Rise Against, Aurora, Dominic Fike , Wallows, and recent Uproxx cover star Conan Gray .

Leading into Summer of 2022, Drake surprised fans with his seventh studio album, Honestly Nevermind which includes a notable feature from 21 Savage. Most recently in November of 2022 Drake and 21 Savage came out with a collaborative studio album titled Her Loss . The album reached number one on the Billboard’s 200 chart and all 16 songs debuted on Billboard’s Hot 100 list.

Drake Tour 2023: Dates, Tickets & More

drake tour 2023

Here's everything you need to know about Drake and 21 Savage's 2023 "It's All A Blur" tour including tickets, dates, and more.

As promised, Drake is finally ready to hit the road again for his 2023 tour. In March, the “Search & Rescue” rapper announced the It’s All A Blur tour alongside his Her Loss collaborator, 21 Savage . It marks his first tour in five years since hitting the road with the Migos for the Aubrey & The Three Migos tour. However, since the tour announcement, there have been several changes to the itinerary, including re-scheduled dates and additional shows to accommodate the high demand. Nonetheless, the upcoming tour is already shaping up to be one of the most anticipated events of the year. Following the announcement of new tour dates, we broke down everything you need to know about Drake and 21 Savage’s 2023 tour, including cities, dates, and more.

Where Will Drake Perform On The 2023 Tour?

Drake’s forthcoming tour will solely serve the North American market, for now. In support of Her Loss , Drake and 21 Savage will perform in 28 cities across America and Canada across 54 dates, beginning in Memphis, TN on June 29th. The tour will continue from July to October as they hit major markets including multiple shows in New York City (4), Los Angeles (2), Chicago (2), Inglewood (4), Detroit (2), and back-to-back dates in their respective hometowns of Toronto and Atlanta.

Due to the overwhelming demand, they’ve not only added dates but rearranged their concerts. Drake and 21 Savage initially planned to launch their tour in New Orleans, followed by dates in Nashville, Houston, Dallas, Miami, and Atlanta from June 16th, 2023 to July 2nd, 2023. Now, they’ve been pushed back to September, while cities like Memphis, TN, and Colombus, OH have now been added to the tour date.

When Do Drake Tickets Go On Sale?

Tickets for the Drake tour went live the week that he announced the shows. However, with new shows in Memphis (June 29), Columbus (July 1), Brooklyn (July 21), Milwaukee (August 3), Inglewood (August 16), Glendale (September 6), Denver (September 8), Austin (September 11), Charlotte (September 22), Nashville (October 1), and Toronto (October 5 & 7), tickets go live this week.

A CashApp card pre-sale went live on Wednesday, April 26th, 2023 at 12 p.m. The following day, Thursday, April 27th, 2023, Sprite and Chase Bank will also launch a pre-sale. Similarly, Live Nation also has a pre-sale event on April 27th (access code: VINYL ). Tickets for the general public will be available on Friday, April 28th at noon, local time, through Ticketmaster and DrakeRelated.com .

Otherwise, fans could purchase tickets from StubHub. The ticket resale company ensures that each order is delivered to the buyer through the StubHub FanProtect Program. Be warned, though: purchasing from a reseller could lead to higher ticket prices than Ticketmaster.

The Canadian rapper first gained serious attention in 2009 when he debuted his EP So Far Gone , named the hottest mixtape of the year by MTV. Fast forward to 2018, Drake dropped the platinum double LP, Scorpion which included a staggering 25 tracks. Succeeding the album’s release, Drake hit the road headlining Aubrey & the Three Migos Tour across the US with surprise guests, Meek Mill, French Montana, Travis Scott and many others. While taking a break from touring in the last five years Drake has developed some of his best work. In September of 2021, Drake released his most highly anticipated album yet. Certified Lover Boy became his sixth studio album and broke Apple Music’s one-day streaming record in under 12 hours.

Drake, full name Aubrey Drake Graham, is a Canadian rapper and actor from Toronto, Ontario. Born in 1986, Drake first rose to fame as an actor but was signed to Young Money Entertainment in 2009.

At the age of 20, Drake self-released his first mix-tape, “Room For Improvement”, which featured artists such as Lupe Fiasco and Trey Songz on the tracks. The quality of the work on this first mix tape won Drake a steady following on the underground rap scene which he grew with the release of his second and third mix tapes, “Comeback Season” and “So Far Gone”. The release of “So Far Gone” saw fans download the mix tape over 2000 times in the first two hours of its release. Two tracks from the album, “Best I Ever Had” and “Successful” hit the number one and number two positions on the US Rap charts, respectively.

This success sparked a bidding war amongst various record labels to get Drake onto their rosters. Young Money Entertainment, owned by Drake’s mentor Lil Wayne, came out successful and signed the rapper in 2009. Drake’s studio albums, including “Thank Me Later”, “Take Care” and “Nothing Was the Same”, have reached the number one spot on the US Billboard chart and each has been certified Platinum.

Drake has had multiple multi-platinum selling singles, but his most successful singles include “Hold On We’re Going Home”, "Headlines", "Take Care", "Make Me Proud", and "The Motto" (where Drake was credited with popularising the acronym YOLO).

Already the winner of one Grammy Award for his 2013 album, “Take Care”, Drake has also won a host of other awards from bodies such as the BET Awards, the MTV VMAs and the Juno Awards. Drake has won millions of fans across the world as a result of the six tours he has completed since 2010. With his work ethic and talent, there is no doubt that Drake’s hard-earned success will continue for quite some time.

Live reviews

Drake's energy on the stage is just incomparable to anybody I've seen. The way he connects with the crowd is unbelievable. I think that his energy on stage just get the crowd more hyped up so it's an all around good show whenever Drake performs. From "So Far Gone" to "Nothing Was The Same," his style and the way he gets his message across have stayed the same. That's the best thing about aging, you get better as time progresses and I think that his albums are a definite reminder of how lyrically and musically talented he is. Many artist make one or two good albums, maybe a song or two every now and then, but Drake has consistently been at the top releasing good music and is just on fire. It's easier to get to the top than to stay there, but he's proving to everyone that he has enough to get to the top and knock anyone down who try's to take him down.

I love how he makes his music to fit any type of mood that you're feeling. His music isn't just slow R&B, he has some up-tempo music that will get you feeling pumped up and ready to go. I also love how he isn't like a Lil Wayne type of rapper who just uses auto tune and throws random gun verses in his songs. Every song is well thought out, every line is placed just right, the words flow with the beat and it's just magic. Even if you don't like Drake, when "Hold on, We're Going Home" comes on you're going to start singing. His songs are just too catchy, and are just classic, so 30 years from now people will still be blasting "Take Care" in their car. From what I've watched, he gives the people their moneys worth and leaves them waiting to see Drakes next move or when he's dropping his next album. He's just an all around great artist and performer, strongly recommend seeing him.

I have never been a huge fan of Drake, but after becoming hooked on the 2013 song ‘Hold on we’re going home’, I decided to check out his back catalogue of work, and was really surprised with what I found, and immediately regretted discounting him previously.

The combination of chilled out tracks in contrast with his rapping and songs like ‘Headlines’ provides such great listening variation, covering a variety of musical genres. Drake’s recent performance at this years Grammys was simply breath-taking, drawing in the audience to the narrative of ‘Hold on we’re going home’ without being showy or over the top, yet managing to merge smoothly into the track ‘Started from the Bottom’, providing the audience with a more upbeat track.

Drake’s interaction with his audience, especially on this occasion is something which he deserves credit for, maintaining his vocal performance whilst attempting to greet as many fans as possible. For me, this injection of his personality really provides the fans with a motivation to watch him live, as the dedication to both performance and fans is something that he appears to have mastered.

He really is one of those artists that you have to see live to experience the full potential of his music.

I bought my tickets to Lil Wayne VS. Drake about 4 months ago and finally got to attend the show on Saturday. Wow. My mind was blown. First of all G-Easy Opened for them and really got the crowd warmed up for the headliners. The whole show was like a video game with Drake and Lil Wayne going back and forth with old and new hits which I was so impressed with how they really mixed it up. Drake flew above the crowd suspended holding on to a stripper pole looking stand which Lil Wayne later dogged on him for. They battled back and forth about being the most featured artist and at the end I had chills because they were both saying how grateful they were for keeping each other's music alive. It was inspiring and poetic. I was impressed it was definitely the best show I have been to this year!

Drake puts on a great show, honestly a great performer who is very talented.

However, if you’re really going to tour with migos, and they don’t show up to do their opening set, there really should be some kind of refund. I came to the show expecting to see migos and then drake and then when migos didn’t show up I went into Drakes set disappointed about missing migos. Sure two of them came out and did 2 songs but really not enough. Instead of touring with these unreliable guys, tour by yourself, I would have no problem paying exactly what I paid for just Drake.

Tickets were very expensive. This was one of the most I have ever paid for a concert ticket, need to make it affordable for his fans. His stage presence was brilliant and loved how much he relates himself to the UK and a personal bond with Birmingham. He did lots of his lesser successful songs which was disappointing, songs like crew love which lots of his fans LOVE came on for 10 seconds then he switched into another one. Just felt it lacked real good performances of his better known and his best songs.

I really liked the show! Drake was an amazing entertainer and made me feel seen and made the show worthwhile. He really suprised me in a positive way:) I loved the sequals were he talked between the songs and the drirecting of scenery was incredible. Some of the most impressive stuff I have ever seen on a stage. He was a good singer, and I liked his tribute to Rihanna. Thanks Drake, for an awesome experience. You are way coolet than I thought

One of the best concerts I've been to in a while... Then opening act: party next door wasn't very well known But when the main acts got on stage the party was really bumpin. Great set list. I can say that I was standing and dancing the whole night and rapping along. They had an interactive portion to help decide who won the rap battle between Drake and Lil Wayne through a downloaded app on your phone. Overall awesome experience!

loveshea10’s profile image

Amazing preformance! He's very enganging and interactive with the crowed, not to mention insanely talented! There was a really cool moving light show (globes of lights that were lowered and raised to create patterns above the audiance as well as change colors). Would have loved to hear more from some of his first albums but all in all a fantastic show. Definatly was worth spending the extra money for floor seats :)

The Drake vs Lil wayne show was definantly a must see! The whole competitive feel of them trying to one up eachother really drove the energy up! Drake is amazing live but honestly Lil Wayne stole the show for me. Also the production value is through the roof! It's less of a concert and more of an experience! They played all of their hits as well as their old stuff! Definantly get a seat to this one!

The Great South American Journey: Quito to Rio Adventure Tour

The Great South American Journey: Quito to Rio Adventure

This is the best G adventures tour I have done in terms of itinerary and people I was traveling with. I had a fantastic time with a great group of people. The only feedback I will give G is I feel the CEO guides are pressured to get 9s or 10s in their reviews and hence transmit that to us which made me not leave a review on the G website as I felt I could not be completely honest without harming the tour guides' rating. This culture should change if you want constructive feedback. I loved all 4 of my CEOs on my tour but 2 of them were outstanding (10/10s) and I felt as a result of above, I could not give them the credit they were due without causing harm to the other 2 who were also good but more 7/10s.

Great trip, we saw a lot of Peru, but the day tours took up too much of our time such that there was minimal time to enjoy the cities.

From Buenos Aires to La Paz via Uyuni (15 Nights) Tour

From Buenos Aires to La Paz via Uyuni (15 Nights)

This tour was excellent. I would give it 9.5 out of 10 for planning and 9 out of 10 for execution. Value for money was better than 10 out of 10. I have some comments to help you improve your services. Your tour schedule either printed without the RH side if done in letter format, or without the bottom bit if done in landscape. Once the tourist has booked the trip, they do not need all the pictures and marketing guff: dump it, in favour of a more readable itinerary. The tourist needs to know what happens when. Full details of place and time are needed. A tour should indicate not only what time it starts, but also how long it is and what else is necessary. For example you included generic statement that park fees were the tourist's responsibility, but he main Bolivia park fee was incorrect, and there were 2 other park fees that had to be paid which were a surprise. The tourist needs to plan their currency availability. they need to know exactly which days they cross borders, for example. Being picked up in BA is very good, especially as the tourist arrive without A pesos. If the tourist needs to go from bus station to accommodation or accommodation to bus station, then they need to know, how to get there, approx cost of taxi etc, and how to ask for it. Several tours arrive late, I guess that is South America. One day our tour did not arrive atall, but we were rebooked for the following day. No worries. We had booked a private room. The accommodation in the Bolivia Park did not have a private room, unless it had a private bathroom (which we had not contracted for), so they charged us about $30 extra. I have no real problem with paying that and I am not asking for anything from you, but if a private room is not available, you should not promise it. :) The accommodation in BA and the Selina hostals was excellent. Please ensure that all guides are english speaking: most were but our excellent drive in Bolivia was Spanish only. :( Leaving us at midday in Uyuni to wait for a 9:30 bus was a pain in the arse. Overall, well done, we will definitely consider using tourradar again. John Parkinson

Attentive, responsive, highly recommend! Wanderful Holidays exceeded my expectations. They met every single need of every person on the tour and responded in a timely manner. I had some unforeseen events with my flight. Not only did they accommodate the new changes and found quick solutions but they were able to stay in communication with me throughout the entire ordeal which made me feel secure and less anxious. The hotels were located in the coolest neighborhoods close to main touristic attractions. The guides were beyond great, every single one of them. They were very knowledgeable and super fun! I would like to express my heartfelt appreciation to Mr. Leonard Ms. Roxiana(Lima), Mr. Daniel(Inca), Mr. Percy( Cusco), Mr. Alex (rainbow mountain) and all the drivers for orchestrating such a flawless trip. This journey has been unlike any other I've experienced, thanks to the impeccable execution and attention to detail provided by both of you. Each of our tour guides was a consummate professional, ensuring our well-being and going above and beyond to accommodate any anything we encountered or wanted to explore. 7 Day Cusco Travel Package: Cusco, Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu, Humantay Lake, and Rainbow Mountain.

My husband and I traveled with Kantu Tours back in March for our honeymoon. Waldir and all tour guides that they paired us with were amazing. All tour guides were knowledgable, all hotels we stayed at were close to the town centers and clean. One thing to be mindful of for this tour is it is a lot more walking and hiking than you may think. Rainbow mountain and Lake Humanty are steep hikes on uneven gravel. We are from Florida so we were worried about elevation sickness but took elevation sickness meds and also drank or chewed coca leaves any time offered or in the morning and never got sick. Peru is absolutely beautiful and all locals are very nice from our experience. I would highly recommend Kantu Tours to anyone wanting to visit Peru.

Really enjoyed getting a taste of Brazil, Argentina and particularly Peru, seeing many famous sites for myself. Our group generally got on very well, our tour director was well organised, the local guides mostly excellent, enthusiastic and interesting, the accommodation was clean and comfortable, food really good. Unfortunately most of we 24 on the tour caught a cold around the time we arrived at high altitude which meant coping with altitude sickness was extra hard for some of us. But overall the trip was a great success.

Cultural and Nature Experience in the Andes Tour

Cultural and Nature Experience in the Andes

The tour was well organized by Eurolatino (located in Germany) and its local travel operators. We had asked to add 2 days in Puerto Maldonado in the Peruvian Amazon region and skip the last day in Santiago de Chile, which was smoothly accomodated by Eurolatino. Although we never received any vouchers for hotels, tours or transfers, all local guides and drivers were always on time at the designated locations (except for a taxi that our local guide had ordered for the transfer from the pier to Copacabana after our return from Sun Island) and were fully briefed about our itinerary and the booked services. The local guides were very knowledgeable and accomodating to our needs. When our inbound flight from New York was delayed and we therefore arrived in Lima in the afternoon instead of the morning, our local guide managed to still show us the highlights of Lima in one hour instead of the half-day tour originally scheduled. Our local guide in Puno was aware that the Peruvian Migration Office in Yunguyo at the Bolivian border was still closed on the day of our visit (in late April 2023) after the protests in January and February of 2023 and had arranged for us to receive our exit stamp at the Migration Office in Puno harbor before transferring to the border. The only inconvenience was that we received the information about the pick-up time for our morning tour in San Pedro de Atacama at 3am on that morning. We had only tentatively booked the tours in San Pedro, as Javier Cordero of Eurolatino had suggested, and confirmed them 3 days before our arrival in San Pedro. Apparently that caused the schedule to be finalized in the last minute only. For anybody interested in a variety of landscapes and unique features I recommend booking the tours in San Pedro from the beginning. We liked all components of our trip. The big cities Lima, La Paz, Santiago de Chile, in some respects similar but in many respects different and distinct. The djungle tours in Puerto Maldonado. The Inca and colonial history in Cuzco, Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu. The overland tour to the Altiplano from Cuzco to La Paz. The Salt Flats at Uyuni and the lagoons and mountain deserts all the way to San Pedro de Atacama. With hindsight, the only change I would make is rather than carrying our overnight necessities (you can leave the rest of the baggage in the car) up the hill on Sun Island (a higher ascend than on Machu Picchu) for a (certainly very nice) sunset, I would opt to visit the Floating Islands near Puno and then transfer directly to La Paz. The only reason for not giving a 5 star rating is that after we had paid the full price for the trip Javier Cordero tried to sell us an upgrade for the visit to Puerto Maldonado, indicating that the originally booked accomodation was not available. Only after I reminded him that the German law on packaged travel services requires the seller of the travel package to provide the services as described in the itinerary or substantially similar services, he confirmed that the itinerary would be provided for the price paid. Except for this irritation he provided an excellent service.

What people love about South America Tours

10 Day Peru Express - Lima, Ica, Machu Picchu, Cusco & Puno + Titi-Kaka Lake with Domestic Flights with Waman Adventures was an amazing trip. Waman Adventures ran this tour smoothly and professionally. All accommodations, transportation, and most of the food were good. Every second of this trip was carefully thought out. A very informative, entertaining, and pleasant tour. You don't need to worry about anything. We learn a lot about Peru, nature, the ancient Inca civilization, and the current tribes. The tour guides Gido and Will are very professional, caring, punctual, and accurate. The hiking trips might be challenging ( for me, I have asthma) but there is an option to take a horse or bike with the driver. We highly recommend Waman Adventure Tours to everyone.
