In 2020 the group kicked off their POST HUMAN era with the release of the first of four EPs aptly titled POST HUMAN: SURVIVAL HORROR . The critically acclaimed release debuted at Number 1 on the UK charts and was praised by NME for being “rooted in raw relevance for today and the cyber-punk energy of tomorrow.” In 2021, the band shared their hit single “ DiE4u ,” the most recent addition to the POST HUMAN collection. Consequence said that the song is, “continuing their evolution from brutal deathcore upstarts to metalcore favorites to an infectious pop group. ” To support the release, the group embarked on a sold-out UK arena tour in September 2021 and are set to headline Reading & Leeds Festival in August 2022. Bring Me The Horizon took the stage at the 2022 BRIT Awards where they joined Grammy award winning singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran for an electrifying performance of “Bad Habits,” which was followed by the release of the official studio version on February 18th. The band has recently collaborated with Machine Gun Kelly on his album single “maybe” and last month with Norwegian pop-star Sigrid on her anthemic track “Bad Life”.

Bring Me the Horizon don't spend a whole ton of time in North America, so when the U.K. post-metalcore visionaries do come abroad, it's a special occasion. This fall, Oli Sykes and Co. will make the trek for a headlining tour leading up to their appearance at the notoriously stacked When We Were Young festival in late October.
Joining them on a 17-date journey prior to the fest will be heavy metalcore torchbearers Knocked Loose , fellow U.K. artist grandson, and the experimental up-and-comer siiickbrain, who recently joined Willow Smith on a bangin' nu-metal song called "PURGE."
Following BMTH's appearance at Louder Than Life festival, the tour kicks off in Brooklyn on September 24th and will hit many major American cities on all sides of the country before wrapping up in Denver on October 20th, a couple days before When We Were Young begins. See the full list of dates below and snag tickets here when they go onsale Friday May 20th at 10 a.m. local time.

this show was super super good! i didn’t have GA and bought practically the last row of seats, but one of security guards gave me and my girlfriend tickets for seats that were 19 rows closer, the energy was amazing and everyone was super nice! i could see so much from the new seats and was super happy!!! the pits were cool, a little sad more towards the end, but funny to watch people were narato running through them and were acting like airplanes running through them and whenever someone fell the other people picked them right up and they kept going, really fun to watch!!!!! oli came into the crown during drown and not just through the floor but through the stands too and i was super close to him!!!!! plus the person who came up on stage to sing antivist knew all the lyrics and had super good energy and was ready to keep the crowd hyped and people were still dancing and moshing while he was singing!

This show ranks among the most disappointing of my life.
That's not to say that the music itself was anything less than phenomenal, but there were so many on-stage distractions that they actually took away from the performance.
THEY HAD BACKUP DANCERS, Y'ALL!!!! And, I'm not taking Destiny's Child caliber dancers. Ohh no. Imagine, if you would, please a forth-grade single-day cheer camp. Yep :-/ That's not an exaggeration. The dancers were horrific to the point of insulting.
Should I be able to stop there, it might have been redeemable.
Sadly, I cannot.
The stage is backed by video monitors, and upon said screens plays this stream-of-consciousness screensaver. It felt rather like those daydreams one wakes from with a start.
They. Were. Awful.
In order to enjoy the music, I had to close my eyes, because there was so much distracting from it.
VERY DISAPPOINTING.
The show last night was beyond words.. Whenever BMTH comes to town here in Denver they always bring their A game with them!! I highly recommend seeing this band if they ever are in your state because they know how to put on a hell of a show!!! My favorite part of the show had to be when they ended up playing an encore as the crowd was chanting "we will never sleep cause sleepings for the weak no we will never rest until we are all f***ing dead" I don't think they could let a crowd down that was that energetic and responsive torwds the band, surely the band didn't dissapoint us at all and came back out from back stage to win all our hearts and finished the show off with thrones. BMTH also had suprised everyone in the audience with giant confetti flying in the air everywhere as the song climaxed to the final chorus. What a show for the books and i had no idea that so many people would attend the show lastnight. This was my second time seeing them play live, I didn't really care much for the opening bands thou.. I miss the days when parkway drive would open up for them back at the summit music hall.

Earlier this month, the band revealed that they’d recorded “about 45 songs” for their next release .
The band’s last project was their ‘Post Human: Survival Horror’ EP, released back in October 2020. The first of several releases, frontman Oli Sykes told NME last year they were “working on parts two, three and four simultaneously” and that they were hoping to “get songs out as soon as we can”.
The Sheffield rock giants then gave fans a taste of what they can expect from ‘Post Human 2’, sharing new single ‘DiE4u’ in September 2021.
Speaking in a new interview, Sykes then shared an update on the record as well as their forthcoming schedule. “We’re doing lots of gigs hopefully, if the world goes alright,” he told BANG Showbiz (via Contact Music ). “Lots of European festivals and we’re going to the States in September. And hopefully a new record.”
He continued: “We’ve been working on it for about a year now, we’ve got lots of music we’re just being quite picky about what we want to release. We must have about 45 songs.”
Last month, Bring Me The Horizon teamed up with Sigrid for a brand new track, ‘Bad Life’.
The song marks the latest in a strong run of collaborations released by BMTH. Prior to ‘Bad Life’, earlier in the month, the band featured on the Masked Wolf single ‘Fallout’ , while March marked another team up with Machine Gun Kelly with the release of ‘maybe’ .

How to watch the the Houston Open 2024 online from anywhere using a VPN
If you find yourself unable to view the tournament locally, you may need a different way to watch -- that's where using a VPN can come in handy. A VPN is also the best way to stop your ISP from throttling your speeds by encrypting your traffic, and it's also a great idea if you're traveling and find yourself connected to a Wi-Fi network, and you want to add an extra layer of privacy for your devices and logins.
With a VPN, you're able to virtually change your location on your phone, tablet or laptop to get access to the tournament. So if your internet provider or mobile carrier has stuck you with an IP address that incorrectly shows your location in a blackout zone, a VPN can correct that problem by giving you an IP address in your correct, nonblackout area. Most VPNs, like our Editors' Choice, ExpressVPN , make it really easy to do this.
Using a VPN to watch or stream sports is legal in any country where VPNs are legal, including the US, UK and Canada, as long as you have a legitimate subscription to the service you're streaming. You should be sure your VPN is set up correctly to prevent leaks: Even where VPNs are legal, the streaming service may terminate the account of anyone it deems to be circumventing correctly applied blackout restrictions.
Looking for other options? Be sure to check out some of the other great VPN deals taking place right now.
Best VPN for streaming
ExpressVPN is our current best VPN pick for people who want a reliable and safe VPN, and it works on a variety of devices. It's normally $13 a month, and you can sign up for ExpressVPN and save 35% -- the equivalent of $8.32 a month -- if you get an annual subscription.

Quick tips for streaming the Houston Open 2024 using a VPN
- With four variables at play -- your ISP, browser, video streaming provider and VPN -- your experience and success when streaming may vary.
- If you don't see your desired location as a default option for ExpressVPN, try using the "search for city or country" option.
- If you're having trouble getting the tournament after you've turned on your VPN and set it to the correct viewing area, there are two things you can try for a quick fix. First, log into your streaming service subscription account and make sure the address registered for the account is an address in the correct viewing area. If not, you may need to change the physical address on file with your account. Second, some smart TVs -- like Roku -- don't have VPN apps you can install directly on the device itself. Instead, you'll have to install the VPN on your router or the mobile hotspot you're using (like your phone) so that any device on its Wi-Fi network now appears in the correct viewing location.
- All of the VPN providers we recommend have helpful instructions on their main site for quickly installing the VPN on your router. In some cases with smart TV services, after you install a cable network's sports app, you'll be asked to verify a numeric code or click a link sent to your email address on file for your smart TV. This is where having a VPN on your router will also help, since both devices will appear to be in the correct location.
- And remember, browsers can often give away a location despite using a VPN, so be sure you're using a privacy-first browser to log into your services. We normally recommend Brave .

Big Time Rush's Carlos PenaVega Recalls One Direction Opening Their Tour: 'That Was Really Hard for Us'
The British boy band joined the American pop group on 10 dates of their Better With U tour in 2012
Larry Busacca/Getty Images for Nickelodeon
It may have been a boy band fan's dream come true that One Direction and Big Time Rush once teamed up for a tour, but it wasn't so easy for BTR at the time.
On an episode of the Unplanned podcast , Big Time Rush member Carlos PenaVega opened up about why it was "hard" for the American pop group to have 1D as their openers on their Better With U tour in 2012. The singer, 34, explained that although fans originally bought tickets in support of BTR, it felt as though they ended up being more excited to see the British band.
"After our show, fans were outside the theater chanting for One Direction," PenaVega said.
"That was really hard for us," he revealed.
The singer/actor explained that between the time the "Boyfriend" band's North American tour was announced in fall 2011 to when the group featuring Niall Horan , Zayn Malik , Liam Payne , Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson was added to the bill, their popularity simply took off.
"Our tour was sold out before they got on. So, they were there to see us," PenaVega recalled. "But it was like The Beatles . It was like a freak of nature. They wanted these five, cute British boys."
The former Nickelodeon star said that the "What Makes You Beautiful" group tried to return the favor, but he and his bandmates Logan Henderson , James Maslow and Kendall Schmidt decided against it.
PenaVega shared, "They offered for us to open for them in the U.K. and our egos got in the way. We were like, 'No. Never.'"
"Probably should have done it," he added. "I mean we were kids. I was like 22. It's hard to control your ego at that age."
JM Enternational/Redferns
Big Time Rush's Better With U Tour was their first national tour across the U.S. and Canada. It followed the release of their second studio album, 2011's Elevate . The string of live dates ran throughout February and March 2012 and featured support from One Direction on select dates, in addition to artists like JoJo and others throughout the tour.

The concerts marked the "Kiss You" band's first shows in the U.S., as they had previously only played live across the U.K. and Ireland. Shortly after the Better With U Tour, 1D brought their own headlining Up All Night Tour, which was in support of their 2011 debut album of the same name, to North America.

While 1D eventually went through lineup changes when Malik, 31, departed the band in 2015 and they officially went on hiatus in 2016, Big Time Rush still remains active.
The "Windows Down" group did go on hiatus in 2014, but reunited in 2021 for select shows , and last year, they dropped their fourth studio album, Another Life . The project marked their first album in a decade, following 2013's 24/seven , and was also their first-ever independently released record.
BTR also set out on a tour throughout much of summer 2023 in support of their comeback .
When the foursome announced their most recent tour in February of last year, they opened up to PEOPLE about what it means to them to be back together again .
"We're not just looking for hits," shared Henderson, 34. "Obviously that's great, but we want to make good music that we are proud of and that's literally what we're striving for. That's why it's taken so long."

All the comedians to see on tour this spring
Ten stand-up tours guaranteed to make you spit out your drink

Margaret Cho
Jim gaffigan, steve martin and martin short, john mulaney, wanda sykes, taylor tomlinson.
The silly stars of Hulu's "Only Murders in the Building" and a legendary podcast host are just three of the comedians heading to a city near you in the coming months. These 10 stand-up tours are sure to tickle your funny bone this spring.
Queer Korean comic Margaret Cho is not afraid to get political . Her current tour "celebrates my 40 years as a stand-up," Cho said on her website, promising to radiate "rage about homophobia, sexism, racism and the fight to stay alive in a culture that is killing us daily" onstage. " Live & Livid " tour dates are ongoing through December.
Gaffigan's midwestern sensibility and sheepish delivery have always made him extra-relatable. He rose to fame covering family-friendly topics like his kids and his shameful love affair with fast food, from Cinnabon to Subway In his last special, "Dark Pale," Gaffigan showed signs of pushing back "against that vanilla image," said The New York Times . " Barely Alive Tour " dates are ongoing through December.

Kevin Hart recently became the 25th person to win the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor, a prestigious honor that is considered a "lifetime achievement award in comedy," The New York Times said. Hart is a household name, having built a veritable empire with successful films, restaurants and media companies . " The Reality Check Tour " dates are ongoing through June.
Koy found himself in hot water while hosting the 2024 Golden Globes, a gig during which he made some widely criticized jokes. (Hosting an awards show is no easy gig — just ask James Franco .) Koy got defensive and blamed his writers. But one bad night does not an entire career make (or break), so perhaps he has a shot at redemption on tour, where he will presumably be in charge of the joke writing. " Jo Koy World Tour " dates are ongoing through November.
The host of the long-running comedy podcast "WTF with Marc Maron" is currently on a 2024 tour, which comes on the heels of last year's HBO special "From Bleak to Dark." There, the "typically cantankerous stand-up turn[ed] toward grace," said Vulture , discussing the unexpected death of his partner from leukemia during the pandemic's early days. " All In Tour " dates are ongoing through November.
If you love watching comedy legends Steve Martin and Martin on Hulu's "Only Murders in the Building," now is your chance to catch the dynamic duo together in the flesh. The tour's description promises the hosts will "make each other laugh as much as the audience," mocking Hollywood and the fickle nature of celebrity — but the comedy "truly soars when they lovingly (and relentlessly) roast each other." These two met on the set of the 1986 film "Three Amigos" and have now been friends for almost forty years. " The Dukes of Funnytown! " tour will commence on May 3 in Syracuse, NY.
Simultaneously unassuming and flamboyant, Mulaney has skyrocketed to fame over the last decade. His material ranges from childhood anecdotes to overcoming addiction to his two-year-old son, Malcolm. And his charisma is so convincing, people were clamoring for him to host next year's Oscars after a short presenting stint at this year's. There are only two dates left on this tour — so get tickets while you can. " John Mulaney in Concert " runs through May 4.
The Emmy-winning veteran stand-up recently began her first major tour in six years. Her latest Netflix special, "I'm an Entertainer," came out in May 2023 and detailed "some of the most hot button topics of the pandemic era," including "the Jan. 6 insurrection, the importance of trans rights and the murder of Black Americans like George Floyd ," said Variety . " Please & Thank You " tour dates are ongoing through June.
This fresh-faced comic provides particular insight into the " millennial struggle ," making light of app dating, mental health and religious guilt. "Tomlinson has developed one of the smoothest, most conversational deliveries in stand-up comedy, continually honing a more and more relatable act," said Forbes . " Have It All " tour dates resume April 19 and are ongoing through September.
Ali Wong became the first woman of Asian descent to win a lead acting Emmy this year for her work in "Beef," a dark comedy from Netflix and A24. Now, she's back on the road and full of unapologetic (and sexually explicit) jokes about everything from race to feminism to her divorce . " Ali Wong: Live " is ongoing through May 12.
