Our contracted flights

As our travel arrangements for are made many months in advance, the flight details shown here, on the accommodation pages and on our website are provisional flight arrangements and approximate flying and transfer times. All flight timings for sun holidays and ski holidays are provisional and may change up to the point of departure.

Your flight numbers and timings will be confirmed when e- tickets are issued approximately 7-10 days before departure. The airline or likely airline which will operate your flight will be communicated to you at the time of booking. Where we can only advise you regarding the likely airline at the time of booking, we will confirm this as soon as we are in a position to do so. Bookings are not accepted on the basis that they are conditional on particular flight timings or carriers, and a change of flight timing or airline does not entitle you to change or cancel your holiday unless otherwise stated in our Booking Conditions.

On busy dates, it may be necessary for us to buy extra seats; these may be with different airlines and operate at times that differ from those shown in our brochure or on our website. Supplements may be payable for these flights. As transfers for these extra flights will often be operated in conjunction with our usual flights, there may be a short additional waiting time at the airport

Connecting flights

Please note that flight timings given at the time of booking are provisional and subject to change. Bookings are not accepted on the basis that they are conditional on particular flight timings. Guests with onward connections should allow plenty of time in the event of a schedule change or flight delay.

We strongly recommend that tickets for onward connections are booked on a fully flexible basis to accommodate any changes or delays. If you choose to travel with British Airways, please note that you will not be able to check your bags all the way through to final destination.

Travel Documents

Flight Itineraries will be sent to you approximately 7-10 days before the start of your holiday. We must have an up-to-date email address for your booking. Please check your documents carefully as soon as you receive them as flight details can sometimes change from those published in the brochure, on the website or detailed on your confirmation invoice.

If you are travelling with EasyJet, Tui or Jet2 you will be provided with your unique airline reference number to allow online check-in before you travel.

Check-in / Charges

Easyjet allocation bookings will receive their EasyJet PNR’s by email 28 days from departure. If you have booked within 28 days, you will be issued your PNR’s within the next week. If it's a last-minute booking you will receive your PNR within the next 48 hours.

EasyJet Administration fees

Changes made more than 60 days before departure will be subject to a fee of £25.00 per passenger per flight.

Changes made within 60 days of departure are subject to a fee of £50.00 per passenger per flight.

Jet2  / TUI Flights

Regional flights that we have bought in on an ad hoc basis will be provided with the airline’s unique PNR/reference number at the time of booking by our sales team. Check-in will be available from 28 days from departure date, and optional extras can be added directly with the airline.

Passports & Visa Requirements

Travelling to the eu.

For holders of British or EU citizen passports, no visas are required for visiting any of the European countries featured in our brochure. Citizens of other countries should consult their embassies or consulates for applicable passport and visa requirements.

Passport validity

If you are planning to travel to an EU country (except Ireland), or Switzerland, Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Andorra, Monaco, San Marino or Vatican City, you must follow the Schengen area passport requirements .

Your passport must be:

• issued less than 10 years before the date you enter the country (check the ‘date of issue’)
• valid for at least 3 months after the day you plan to leave (check the ‘expiry date’)

You must check your passport meets these requirements before you travel. If your passport was issued before 1 October 2018, extra months may have been added to its expiry date.

A British passport presently takes longer than usual to obtain. If you are 16 or over and haven’t yet got a passport, you should apply for one at least 6 weeks before your holiday, if not sooner. The UK Passport Service must confirm your identity before issuing your first passport and will ask you to attend an interview in order to do this. Full details are available by either visiting UK Government Passport website or telephoning the passport office on 0300 222 0000 .

If you are not a British citizen or hold a non-British passport, you must check passport and visa requirements with the embassy or consulate of the country(ies) to or through which you are intending to travel.

Please also check the validity of your passport, as some countries require passports to be valid for a certain length of time after the end of your holiday arrangements; this may be up to 6 months.

If you are unsure, please contact the appropriate embassy or consulate of the country you are travelling to. It is the party leader’s responsibility to ensure that all members of the party are in possession of all travel and other documents necessary for your holiday. We cannot be held responsible if guests are prevented from travelling or re-entering the UK due to the lack of valid passports or visas.

The Foreign Office publishes regularly updated travel information on its website, which we recommend that you consult before making a booking, and in good time before departure.

Travelling to Turkey

If you are visiting Turkey, your passport should be valid for at least 150 days from the date you arrive and there should be a full blank page for the entry and exit stamps. You can find more detail about the requirements for entry into Turkey on the website of the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs .

If you are a resident in Turkey, your passport must be valid for six months from the date you arrive.

Check with your travel provider to make sure your passport and other travel documents meet their requirements.

British Citizens travelling to Turkey for tourist or business purposes are able to travel without a visa for visits of up to 90 days in any 180-day period.

If you plan to remain in Turkey for a period of more than 90 days, you should either apply for a longer stay visa before you travel, or get a residence permit from the local authorities in Turkey before your 90 day stay has elapsed. If you intend to work in Turkey, ensure you have the correct permits. More information is available from the Turkish Ministry of the Interior. If you do not abide by the terms of your visa or permit, you may be fined, deported and banned from re-entering the country.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed in September 2022 that British Citizens travelling to Turkey for tourist or business purposes are able to travel without a visa for visits of up to 90 days in any 180-day period.

Health & Insurance

It is your responsibility to ensure that you are familiar with all of the recommended vaccinations and health precautions in good time before departure. Details are available from your GP surgery or local travel clinic and from the National Travel Health Network and Centre: www.nathnac.net . Information on health abroad is also available on www.nhs.uk/Livewell/Travelhealth .

You should ensure that vaccinations or preventative measures, such as malaria tablets, are taken early enough (which may be a month or more prior to departure). At the time of publishing this brochure, no vaccinations were required for visiting any of the Mediterranean countries featured in this brochure.

For holidays in the EU/EEA, you should obtain an EHIC (European Health Insurance Card) prior to departure from their website: www.ehic.org.uk . The EHIC may entitle you to reduced cost, sometimes free, medical treatment in public hospitals and clinics while you’re in a European Economic Area, although restrictions apply. It should be noted, however, that the EHIC is not a substitute for travel insurance, which must be taken out before departure.

If you are undergoing any form of medical treatment, we recommend that you consult your GP in good time prior to departure and ensure that you take sufficient medication and corresponding prescriptions with you where necessary.

In some countries, the services and drugs provided may be of a different standard to that received in the UK. Please remember to pack any vital medication in your hand luggage.

Health requirements and recommendations may change, and you should check the up-to-date position in good time before departure.

Each airline has its own set of rules for passengers travelling when they are pregnant. Ladies who are more than 33 weeks pregnant on their return date cannot travel on our charter flights. After the 28th week of pregnancy, a medical certificate confirming ‘fitness to fly’ is required which must confirm the expected date of birth. This should be issued as close to your departure date from the UK as possible. Scheduled airlines have their own policies on pregnancy which will apply. Please check your insurance policy for any restrictions on cover provided.

Travelling with Infants

Airport parking, airport parking partnership, airport representatives, travel delays.

In the event of a delay departing from your UK airport, we do not provide refreshments, meals or accommodation. However, in certain circumstances, the airline may be required to provide assistance, and their airport representatives will be on hand to offer advice.

For delays on the return journey, we endeavour to arrange for the provision of assistance on the following basis: for a delay of more than three hours, we will provide light refreshments, and where there is a delay of over four hours, a meal will be provided at the appropriate time. For overnight delays, hotel accommodation and meals will be provided as appropriate. The provision of these facilities is generally the responsibility of the airline under the Denied Boarding Regulations (see our Booking Conditions) and cannot be guaranteed as circumstances often change.

Where any arrangements are to be provided by Mark Warner (rather than the airline), our representative’s decision is final. Transfer coaches will occasionally be meeting more than one flight and any delay in flights arriving can cause a delay in the coach departing from the airport. Delays of more than 12 hours on either the outward or homeward journey may be covered by your personal travel insurance policy.

Resort Transfers

Private coaches are used for transfers between the airport and resort. On occasions we may use other tour operators' coaches but there will always be a Mark Warner representative at the airport to assist.   Approximate transfer times are below, some transfers may have a short refreshment stop.
