Non-aggresive pets welcome when kept on a leash (with owner) and cleaned up after. *Rates are for 2 people, $2.00 additional charge per night for each extra person over 2 years old. Rates are subject to change. Key Deposit required for shower rooms. Wi-Fi is available w/fee.

Halfway between Houston and Galveston off I-45. From Houston: S on I-45 (Gulf Fwy) to Exit 20 (FM646 Exit). Once on Gulf Fwy, watch for a long stretch of right-hand turn lane near Cabela's. From that lane, turn R onto Big League Dreams Pkwy. Go W for approx .5 mile and turn L on Calder Dr then R into the entrance of Safari. From Galveston: N on I-45 (Gulf Fwy) to Exit 22 (League City Pkwy/HWY 96). Make U-turn under I-45 and head S on Gulf Fwy approx 1.5 miles. Watch for a long stretch of right-hand turn lane near Cabela's. From that lane, turn R onto Big League Dreams Pkwy. Go W for approx .5 mile and turn L on Calder Dr then R into the entrance of Safari.

City close and country quiet. Safari is a combination Mobile Home Community & RV Park, with 83 Mobile Home lots and 50 RV sites. Located in the center of the fun things to see and do in the Houston/Galveston area.

Short walk to LC - Big League Dreams Ball Fields, close to Nasa Space Center, Kemah Boardwalk, Moody Gardens, Schlitterbahn Water Park (Galveston), and various other attractions.

We wanted to see the Space Center in Houston, this park is 8 miles away. There is construction on Interstate 45 and it was a bit challenging to get to the park. There are mostly full timers In This park, with about 15 sites for overnighter or weekly campers. The site are level with a lovely covered cabana at each site with a picnic table. They have mature trees and grass at each site. Wendy the manager was off Sunday, the day we arrived. She filled a registration with our site number in an envelope. We paid Monday when she opened. The WiFi is available for additional $4.00, we opted not to get. Our cellular service is Verizon and had 4bars. We had a pull-thru towing a car, plenty long and wide enough with 4 slides. I stayed in this park for a month while visiting my son in League City, Texas. At first glance, I was a little apprehensive about staying there because the front part of the park consists of older mobile homes. But it turned out to be great place to stay. It was quiet and safe and everyone I met staying in the park and working for the park were very nice. I will definitely stay there again on my next trip. Cindy Aslaner 11/5/2011

Very clean and comfortable older mobile home park. We are usually hesitant to go to a mobile home park because you often have to park amongst the community. These sites are off to the side in an area set aside for RVs. Long (70') level, pull throughs. Covered concrete patios. Paved sidewalks along edge of parking pads. Nice personnel. Close to many Houston area attractions. Call before you get too close and she'll work you around Houston so you don't have to deal with the traffic. Don't let the low price deter you. “Seedy people hanging around”

As of this writing some people from wichita have broken into nearby storage facilities police still looking for them keeps all vehicles/ rvs locked up and secure We camped at Santa Fe Park Safari RV Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Stay in well lit areas keeps valuables out of sight, please be wary...

“Super clean, quiet, free campground. ”

We have a 42 foot 5th-wheel pulled by a stretched semi and double-towing a 4-door jeep. The sites are large enough that we completely fit everything within the site. This is a very nice and super We camped at Santa Fe Park Safari RV Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

This park has a 10 day limit for no with no fees. Park is in a nice park area with large trees and walking paths. No WiFi or sewer available. Nice place to stop for a night or two but not much to do We camped at Santa Fe Park Safari RV Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

One of the most amazing things about an African Safari is sleeping in the bush. Watching the sun go down after a day of game viewing, enjoying a sundowner drink, gathering with your friends for a great evening meal, recalling the highlights of the day around a roaring campfire, then falling into a comfortable bed and having a great night’s sleep are memories that last a lifetime. At first light, you awaken in the morning, enjoy a cup of coffee and soak in the sights and sounds of nature as she awakens with you.

Safari Wilderness will now host a few special people per night in 10 beautifully appointed safari tents on the property! Continental breakfast is included. Base pricing is based on adult double occupancy. Additional guests may be added for an additional cost. We offer Classic and Premium camp options, learn more about each below.

Our property is within the Green Swamp, the second largest wilderness area in Florida (after The Everglades). This 850 square mile wilderness that surrounds us is the critical watershed for west central Florida. It is the headwaters for 5 Florida rivers. Within our boundaries are hundreds of wild birds. On most days we see herons, ibis, spoonbills, wood storks, wood ducks and sandhill cranes — to name a few. For years guests have asked us if they could spend the night at Safari Wilderness to extend their adventure. Now they finally can!

We have several high quality, fun and educational ways to enjoy the hundreds of animals that live here. The guided safaris are by camel-back, ATV, kayak, and customized vehicle. For overnight guests only, we can organize sundowner safaris, bird watching safaris, mountain bike excursions. To do all our different safaris can take several days. Staying in our safari tent camp for several nights facilitates a multi day wilderness safari like you might have in Africa. We also offer ring-tailed lemur feedings, and premium cheetah encounters. Safaris and optional extras are booked online.

Base camp is close to our Welcome Barn, a 13,000 square foot, two-story safari structure that has indoor seating, a gift shop, restrooms, and 3 private showers for guests. There is a 2nd story game viewing lounge available for overnight guests to enjoy.

Continental breakfast is included. Base pricing is based on adult double occupancy. Additional guest may be added for $25 per night per person. Maximum occupancy is four individuals. No smoking is allowed anywhere on our 260 acre property. Lodging is closed during the hot, wet summer months.

• Chevron down Premium Safari Camping

On one side of the deck below is our cheetah family, another side has a pond with grazing and aquatic animals. On the other side is a family of ring- tailed lemurs. The Overlook has the best game viewing location on the property.

The cost per night is for double occupancy, and includes travel from the Welcome Barn to your overnight accommodation by camel-back (or if you prefer by safari vehicle!). A continental breakfast is provided.

Base pricing is based on adult double occupancy. Additional guest may be added for $100 per night per person. Maximum occupancy is four individuals. No smoking is allowed anywhere on our 260 acre property. Lodging is closed during the hot, wet summer months. Guests also enjoy access to our 2nd story game viewing lounge from the Welcome Barn.

Safari Association of Ilwaco is a membership RV park located off Sandridge Road in Ilwaco, WA on the southern end of the popular Long Beach Peninsula. Safari Park originated in 1970 as a campground catering to fishermen and has grown into a gated park offering full hookups, water, sewer, garbage service, cable TV, WIFI, and full-time caretakers. Safari Park also has a lodge with office, kitchen, and large meeting area, along with a small library, a laundry room, and restrooms. Additional restrooms and laundry facilities are also located throughout the park, as well as are several children’s playgrounds. For fishermen, the park boasts a brand new fish house. Besides fishing, members enjoy kite flying, playing golf, taking advantage of the many festivals held throughout the year on the Long Beach Peninsula, and driving and playing on the “Longest Beach in Washington”.

The park has 322 sites, all of which are membership sites. The annual dues are less than $1,100 per year, billed semi-annually. Members pay for their own electricity and propane, if used, but all other amenities are included in the dues. Ownership of each lot belongs to the park, but members are welcome to use their lots as often as they would like. Most lots contain park models, trailers, or fifth-wheels, and a few empty lots exist for members who want to bring their rigs each time they visit.
