Exploring Safari’s Online Features: What You Need to Know
Safari is a popular web browser developed by Apple Inc. Known for its sleek design and seamless user experience, Safari has grown to become one of the most widely used browsers across various devices. In this article, we will delve into Safari’s online features and help you discover how you can make the most of your browsing experience.
Enhanced Privacy and Security
When it comes to online browsing, privacy and security are paramount concerns for many users. Safari takes these concerns seriously and offers several features to ensure a safe and secure browsing experience.
Safari also utilizes sandboxing technology, which isolates each website in its own separate process, preventing malicious code from affecting other parts of your system or compromising your personal information.
Additionally, Safari includes built-in protection against fraudulent websites and phishing attempts. It automatically checks URLs against a list of known malicious websites, keeping you safe from potential threats.
Seamless Integration with Apple Ecosystem
If you are an Apple user with multiple devices such as iPhones, iPads, or Macs, Safari offers seamless integration across all these devices. With iCloud syncing enabled, you can easily access tabs open on one device from another device using Safari’s “Shared Tabs” feature.
This means that if you find an interesting webpage on your iPhone but prefer to read it on your iPad or Mac later on, simply open up Safari on the other device and select the “Tabs” button in the toolbar. You will find a list of all open tabs across all synced devices, allowing you to continue where you left off seamlessly.
Furthermore, when it comes to passwords and credit card information, Safari offers its own password manager called iCloud Keychain. It securely stores your passwords and credit card details across all your Apple devices, making it convenient to autofill login forms and make online purchases with ease.
Intelligent Tab Management
With the increasing number of tabs we open while browsing the internet, managing them efficiently becomes crucial for productivity. Safari provides several features to help you organize and navigate through your tabs effortlessly.
One such feature is the ability to group tabs together. You can create tab groups based on specific themes or topics by simply dragging one tab onto another. This helps keep your browsing organized and makes it easier to find related content when you need it.
Safari also offers a powerful tab search feature that allows you to quickly locate a specific tab by typing in keywords or even searching for open tabs from a particular time range. This eliminates the hassle of scrolling through numerous tabs to find what you are looking for.
Moreover, Safari’s “Tab Preview” feature provides a visual overview of all open tabs, making it easier to identify and switch between them with just a glance.
Personalization is key when it comes to enhancing your browsing experience, and Safari understands this well. The browser offers various customization options that allow you to tailor Safari according to your preferences.
Safari’s “Extensions” feature enables you to enhance the functionality of the browser by installing third-party extensions from the App Store. These extensions can add features such as ad-blocking, password management tools, or even productivity-enhancing tools like note-taking apps.
In addition, Safari allows you to modify its appearance by choosing from different themes or customizing toolbar buttons according to your liking. You can also adjust settings related to privacy, security, and content restrictions based on your individual needs.
By taking advantage of these customization options, you can truly make Safari feel like your own personalized browsing tool.
In conclusion, Safari’s online features offer a range of benefits to users. From enhanced privacy and security measures to seamless integration with the Apple ecosystem, intelligent tab management, and customization options, Safari has a lot to offer. So, if you’re looking for a reliable and feature-rich web browser, give Safari a try and explore the vast possibilities it offers for your online browsing needs.

Tata Safari Review
The Tata Safari is a well-known brand in the SUV market. This name was reintroduced in 2021, and we now have the first major update to the seven-seater SUV. The Safari facelift 2023 has been updated extensively in terms of looks, interior experience, and technology.
For buyers looking for a large family SUV in the Rs 25-30 lakh range, the Safari has been a strong option among rivals such as the MG Hector Plus, Mahindra XUV700, and Hyundai Alcazar.
Let’s take a closer look at the changes Tata Motors has made.
With the facelift, the basic shape and size of the Safari remains unchanged. It continues to be a large SUV, measuring nearly 4.7 metres in length and 1.8 metres in width. The updates have been made to the lighting elements, front and rear bumpers, and alloy wheels.
The new front looks more modern with the connected daytime running lights, and body-coloured elements on the grille. Tata Motors has chosen to not add chrome garnishes, which makes the new Safari look subtle and classy. The bumper design has been changed entirely and it now features LED projector headlights and LED fog lamps. There’s a functional vent in the bumper that helps in aerodynamics as well.
The profile remains unchanged except for the new alloy wheel design. Base variants (Smart and Pure) get 17-inch alloy wheels, the mid-spec Adventure model gets 18-inch alloy wheels, whereas the top-spec Accomplished and Dark variants get 19-inch alloy wheels.
At the rear, you will notice the new taillight graphics and the new bumper.
The Tata Safari 2023 colour options are as follows:
With Tata Motors’ new approach of creating ‘Personas’ instead of variants — each variant of the Safari has a unique look and feel. The base-spec Smart/Pure variants get simple grey upholstery, the Adventure variants get chocolate brown upholstery, and the top-spec Accomplished variant features a premium white-grey dual tone combination. The Dark variant gets an all-black cabin theme.
Tata Motors has redesigned the dashboard of the Safari, making it look slimmer and luxurious. The accent on the dashboard is now slimmer, and the central AC vents are now wider. A gloss black panel runs underneath it and houses the new touch panel for the climate control and other vehicle functions.
Also new is the four-spoke steering wheel. The design is classy, and with the white-grey two-tone wrap looks upmarket too. It also gets the illuminated logo and the backlit switches that control music/calls and the instrument cluster.
In terms of fit and finish, there’s a noticeable improvement. The way the panels fit together, the consistency in material quality are positive changes.
On the space front, there’s nothing new to report. The doors open wide, and climbing into the cabin does not require effort. Do note that it’s best you install side steps if the elders in your family will be using the car. Rear seat space, as before, is more than enough for a six-footer to sit comfortably behind a six-foot-tall driver.
Tata has not added one-touch tumble to the Safari — that is a miss. So you can either ‘walk’ to the third row from the middle in the captain seat version, or recline and slide the second row seat forward. Third row space is surprisingly accommodating for adults, but for long journeys, it is best left to kids. There’s not much foot room under the second row seats, so you have to keep at least one foot out towards the centre.
A major draw of the new Tata Safari 2023 are the new features.
Dual-zone climate control: Allows you to set separate temperatures for driver and co-driver side. Temperature can be set using the physical switches, from the touchscreen, and voice command.
Powered Driver’s Seat (with Memory): 6-way power adjust functionality. Lumbar adjustment is manual. Three memory settings are available.
12.3-inch Touchscreen: Free-floating touchscreen with a thin bezel looks premium. Graphics are clear and crisp, and response times are quick. Interface is easy to get used to. Supports Wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Can also be used to access various car functions such as climate control, powered tailgate and ambient lighting.
10.25-inch Instrument Cluster: Has three views: 1 dial view, 2 dial view and digital. Screen is easy to read even in sunlight. Can be controlled using buttons on the steering wheel.
10-speaker JBL Sound System: Good clarity, deep bass. It gets 13 sound profiles by AudioWorX that give you a collection of equaliser settings which you can select based on the kind of music you listen to.
360 degree camera: Good resolution. Driver gets a clear view. Indicating left/right activates the respective camera, making lane changes and tight turns a little more convenient.
Powered Tailgate: The boot can now be opened electrically. You can either press the switch on the boot, use the button on the key or use the app. Alternatively, you can also use the touchscreen and the button on the touch panel. You can also kick under the rear bumper for hands free operation.
Other highlight features such as front seat ventilation, powered co-driver’s seat (with Boss mode), rear seat ventilation (6-seater only), panoramic sunroof, and ambient lighting have been carried over to the new Safari 2023.
Tata Motors claims to have made structural changes to the Safari to further improve safety. Standard safety features include:
Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) is also on offer with the Adventure+ A, Accomplished+ and Accomplished+ Dark variants.
Other features such as traffic sign recognition, lane departure warning, rear collision warning and overtaking assist are also available. Tata Motors will add lane centering assist and lane keep assist as a software update in the coming months.
The Safari continues to get a single 2-litre diesel engine. There’s no change in the tuning of the engine — it continues to make 170PS and 350Nm as before. It is offered with a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic transmission.
We will recommend buying the automatic version since it adds more convenience to the drive. There’s no major difference in the way Safari drives. The engine response is satisfactory for city drives and there’s more than enough power for long highway drives. Tata Motors is now offering paddle shifters with the automatic if you want the feel of shifting gears yourself.
As before, the Safari gets Eco, City, and Sport drive modes. There are three ‘Terrain’ modes: Rough, Wet and Normal.
Ride and Handling
Wheel size has gone up, from 18 inches of the previous version to 19 inches. In this process, one would expect the ride comfort to become worse. But that’s not the case: Tata has tuned the suspension well to be comfortable and cushion harsh impacts. You can feel the surface at times at slow speeds, but there’s not much of the side-to-side rocking movement when going over broken roads. The Safari feels confident and comfortable at triple-digit speeds, making highway trips all the more enjoyable.
Tata now uses an electric power steering, which has enabled them to provide a better steering response. It is light enough for quick u-turns and parking in tight spaces inside the city. At the same time, the weight felt satisfactory at high speeds.
The Safari always had presence, comfort, and space on its side. With this update, Tata Motors has made it more desirable with a better design, upmarket feeling on the interior and a better tech package with the infotainment and ADAS.

Tata Altroz EV
The Tata Safari is the flagship model for the Indian car maker that was first introduced here in 2021. At the time, the focus was as much on drawing inspiration from an inconic name as was on putting a brand new model on a pedestal. Here was a three-row vehicle that promised SUV-like style but claimed MPV-like comfort. Fast forward just two years and the updated Tata Safari has a new wardrobe to show off.
Tata has been steadily increasing its focus on models that not just drive well and have top-notch safety credentials but look cutting edge as well. Or at least extremely contemporary. Just look at the Altroz , the updated Nexon and Nexon EV or even the latest Harrier SUV. Here are cars across body types that showcase the current best that Tata designers have to offer. And it is a treat for sure. Towards this end, the new Safari has been given a noticeable makeover as well even though it obviously retains its OG flavour.
And then there is the pivotal factor of in-car features - the more, the better, even if you end up not using a significant chunk of these in the long run. The Koreans started the trend and rivals like Tata Motors are only to keen to hit back. The Safafri, therefore, was always going to be pampered and peppered with features galore. So how do all of these factors come together to manifest in the flagship product from Tata Motors? Here is the first-drive review of the 2023 Tata Safari facelift:
Also watch: 2023 Tata Safari review: Family SUV with bachelor spirit?
2023 tata safari facelift: exterior highlights.
The updated Safari looks a tad bit more sporty while still retaining its largely sophisticated exterior design language. The face, for instance, has been reworked and now sports a new grille, a reworked vertical housing for the fog lamps and head lights, and a stretched DRL bar that connects the sequential DRLs on either side.
There is not much change from the side apart from the reworked alloy design on the 19-inch wheels. The design is likely to evoke different reactions from different viewpoints instead of inviting unilateral awe. But what works really well is how Tata designers have managed to snub the use of chrome and still come up with a visually striking profile.
There is no chrome on the rear of the Safari either where a stretched LED bar connects the two tail lights and runs all across the length of the trunk door which, by the way, offers powered open option.
2023 Tata Safari facelift: Cabin highlights
The Safari's cabin has become much more premium now and a slew of updates to the feature list as well as to the upholstery lend the vehicle an appeal that would have otherwise been restricted to models in segments above the one this car competes in. The top-end Accomplished variant - or persona, as Tata Motors refers to it, comes with dual-tone colour scheme but the White on the seats would be quite hard to maintain in pristine condition.
The layered dashboard now gets an artificial wood panel which is a nice touch while the central section is dominated by a 12.3-inch display unit that is intuitive, puts out clear feed from the 360-degree cameras and supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The map feed can also be redirected to the all-digital driver display screen which now sports customisable layouts.
The steering wheel has also been updated and is now a four-spoke set with mounted controls and has an illuminated Tata logo on it. It is quite easy to operate and control the advanced driver-assistance system (ADAS) functionalities that this car offers courtesy the layout of the buttons on the wheel. On that note, the Safari offers 11 ADAS functions in a further bid to aid driving safety and convenience.
There are plenty of other convenience features that the Safari packs as well, whether it is the dual zone climate control function, air purification system, front and mid ventilated seats, voice-activated panoramic sunroof, Alexa to Home technology or remote access to the vehicle.
Space remains the same which means that the Safari continues to be a decently spacious vehicle for passengers in all three rows. Space in that third row, however, continues to come at the cost of a compromised boot space. But that's really expected, right?
Overall, the Safari is a very well appointed vehicle with quite a lot of space for comfortable long trips but now, at least in the top-spec version, is significantly more premium than before.
2023 Tata Safari facelift: Drive highlights
Here is where the updated Safari could have been so much more. But isn't. So much has already been mentioned - and experienced - about the 2.0-litre turbo diesel motor under the hood and the choice between an automatic gearbox and a six-speed manual stick. Yes, the motor could have been refined further. Yes, the grunt is still uncomfortably palpable when pushing the vehicle. But yes, the Safari - especially with the automatic transmission - is still quite a fun car to drive and has enough power to get a move on when required. The suspension continues to hold its own on rough roads and the steering still has a nice heft to aid matters.
But why this otherwise very capable model does not also come with a petrol engine under its hood is beyond comprehension of many. Tata Motors is almost snubbing the petrol-buying audience in the country, a group that is steadily increasing. There is also no 4x4 option because the platform on which the Safari is based on does not allow for it. But here is also a miss, especially as this model does go up against authentic off-road options in the market as well.
2023 Tata Safari facelift: Verdict
The updated Tata Safari is a big step up in terms of its exterior design and cabin features and quality. Space has always been this car's strength but the additions to the feature list arms this vehicle to the absolute teeth.
The diesel motor and the automatic transmission work extremely well in tandem but as mentioned previously, Tata Motors ought to strongly consider a petrol option for the model as well.

Tata Safari Expert Review
The Tata Safari , a renowned name in the SUV market, was reintroduced in 2021. The 7-seater SUV has now received its first facelift. The 2023 Safari sees extensive updates in its looks, interior, and features.
Within the price range of Rs 25-30 lakhs, the Safari stands as a strong choice for families seeking a spacious SUV, competing with rivals like the MG Hector Plus , Mahindra XUV700 , and the Hyundai Alcazar .
Let's delve deeper into what’s changed.
The shape and dimensions of the Tata Safari remain unaltered. It continues to assert its presence as a large SUV, measuring nearly 4.7 meters in length and 1.8 meters in width. The changes primarily focus on the lighting components, as well as the front and rear bumpers and alloy wheels.
The revamped front end is now more stylish with the connected daytime running lights and body-colored elements on the grille. The bumper design has been completely reimagined and now features LED projector headlights and LED fog lamps. Notably, a functional vent in the bumper contributes to improved aerodynamics.
The side profile remains largely unaltered, with the exception of the fresh alloy wheel design. The base variants (Smart and Pure) are equipped with 17-inch alloy wheels, while the mid-spec Adventure model sports 18-inch alloy wheels. In contrast, the top-spec Accomplished and Dark variants feature striking 19-inch alloy wheels.
Observing the rear of the Safari, you'll immediately notice the updated tail light graphics and the redesigned rear bumper.
Color options on the 2023 Tata Safari are as follows:
Tata Motors has adopted a fresh strategy by creating 'Personas' rather than traditional variants, resulting in each Safari variant getting a distinct look and ambiance. The base-spec Smart/Pure versions feature a modest gray upholstery, while the Adventure variant gets chocolate brown upholstery. On the other hand, the top-spec Accomplished variant showcases a Range Rover-like sophisticated white-gray dual-tone interior combination, while the Dark variant gets an all-black cabin theme.
The dashboard of the Safari has undergone a redesign, appearing slimmer and more upmarket. The accent on the dashboard is now slimmer, and the central AC vents have been widened. Beneath, a gloss black panel accommodates the new touch-panel for climate control and other vehicle functions.
Another notable addition is the 4-spoke steering wheel, which gets a classy design and premium look thanks to the white-grey two-tone wrapping. The wheel also features an illuminated logo and backlit switches for music/calls and instrument cluster control.
In terms of fit and finish, there is a marked difference, evident in the improved panel alignment and material quality consistency.
Regarding cabin space, there are no noteworthy differences. The wide-opening doors make ingress effortless, although it's advisable to install side steps if elderly passengers frequently use the vehicle. The rear seat space remains spacious as ever, with ample room for a six-footer to sit comfortably behind a six-foot-tall driver.
However, Tata has not incorporated one-touch tumble functionality for the third row. To access the third row in the captain seat version, one can walk through the middle row or recline and slide the second-row seat forward. While the third row has just about enough space for adults, it's best suited for children during extended journeys. Additionally, there isn't much foot room beneath the second-row seats, requiring passengers to extend at least one foot towards the center.
When all three rows of seats are occupied, the available boot space is non-existent, enough only for a couple of backpacks. Folding down the third row of seats, however, opens up a substantial 420 liters of storage space. Sadly, the third row doesn't fold completely flat, and there's a slight incline that can cause luggage to slide. Folding the second row of seats gets you a generous 827 liters of space.
Here’s a quick runthrough of the new features on the Safari
Dual-Zone Climate Control: This system allows individual temperature settings for the driver and co-driver, and it can be adjusted using the physical controls, touchscreen, or voice commands.
Powered Driver's Seat (with Memory): The driver's seat offers a 6-way power adjustment feature, with manual lumbar adjustment, and includes three memory settings for added convenience.
12.3-Inch Touchscreen: The free-floating touchscreen, featuring a sleek bezel, exudes a premium feel. It offers clear and crisp graphics with quick response times. This screen can also be used to access various car functions, including climate control, powered tailgate, and ambient lighting. It supports Wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
10.25-Inch Instrument Cluster: The instrument cluster provides three distinct views: a single dial view, dual dial view, and digital view. The screen remains legible even in direct sunlight and can be controlled via buttons on the steering wheel.
10-Speaker JBL Sound System: This sound system delivers excellent clarity and deep bass. It includes 13 sound profiles by AudioWorX, allowing you to select equalizer settings tailored to your musical preferences.
360-Degree Camera: The cameras have good resolution, providing the driver with a clear view. Indicating activates the respective camera, simplifying lane changes and tight maneuvers.
Powered Tailgate: The boot can now be opened electrically through various methods, such as using the switch on the boot, the key fob, a mobile app, or the touchscreen. Additionally, a hands-free operation is possible by kicking under the rear bumper.
In addition to these new features, several existing highlight features including front seat ventilation, a powered co-driver's seat with "Boss mode", rear seat ventilation (available in the 6-seater configuration), a panoramic sunroof, and ambient lighting have been retained in the 2023 Safari.
Tata Motors has confirmed that structural enhancements have been incorporated in the new Safari. Standard features include:
Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) is also on offer with the Adventure+ A, Accomplished+ and Accomplished+ Dark variants.
The Tata Safari retains its single 2.0-litre diesel engine without any changes in its tuning, maintaining the same power output of 170PS and torque of 350Nm. This engine is available with a choice of a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission. Compared to the previous version, you will notice a minor improvement in noise levels inside the cabin.
We’d recommend opting for the automatic version as it makes driving more convenient. The engine's response is adequate for city commuting, and it offers ample power for day-long road trips. Additionally, Tata Motors now provides paddle shifters with the automatic transmission, allowing drivers to manually shift gears if desired.
The Safari maintains its previous drive mode options, including Eco, City, and Sport modes, along with three 'Terrain' modes: Rough, Wet, and Normal.
Ride and Handling
The wheel size has been increased from the previous version’s 18 inches to 19 inches. Tata has fine-tuned the suspension to maintain a comfortable ride and absorb jarring impacts. While you might occasionally sense the road's surface at lower speeds, there's minimal side-to-side rocking on uneven roads. The Safari exudes a sense of confidence and comfort, even when cruising at triple-digit speeds, making family road trips fun.
Tata has also introduced an electric power steering system, which has resulted in improved steering responsiveness. It remains light enough for easy maneuvering in tight urban spaces, including quick u-turns and parking. Steering weight at high speeds is satisfactory too.

The Tata New Safari expertly blends convention and invention with its modern take on a loved example. The spacious apartments and modern conveniences make every trip comfortable and pleasurable. Whether in appreciation of family road passages or local exploration, The New Safari is a hallmark of adventure and faculty.
The new Tata Safari is a spacious and comfortable 7 seater SUV. The roomy cabin offers ample legroom and headroom for all three rows of seats. The seats are well cushioned and offer good comfort over long journeys. The Safari rides well too thanks to its capable suspension that handles bumps with ease. Safety features like 6 airbags and hill hold/descent control are offered. The Safari's 2 liter diesel engine delivers good performance and refinement. While not the most premium the new Safari impresses with its spacious and comfortable interior at an affordable price.
Very good suv.Liked a lot.I would like to buy accomplished variant. But i need 6 seater option, Which is not available in accomplished variant.I am not interested in accomplished plus, As it costs additional 2 lakhs, And i don't need those features of accomplished plus.
