How to Find a Honda Gold Wing for Sale
Honda Gold Wing motorcycles hold appeal for a variety of riders, with those interested in long-distance touring often making up the bulk of this bike’s consumer base. If you’re looking for a used or new Honda Gold Wing motorcycle, use these handy tips to find exactly the model you want.
Before you start looking for a Gold Wing to buy, you should know exactly what it is that you’re looking for, or at least have an idea of model years, model names and features you’re most interested in. For example, if you know you want to look only at used Honda Gold Wing trikes rather than considering brand-new two-wheel models, that can help make your search for the perfect bike more efficient. It can be helpful to understand whether the features you want are available on standard models or if you need to look at modified or upgraded versions to get what you need from your bike.

Visit Honda Dealers
If you’re interested in new bikes only, it may be helpful to start with a Honda dealership or the Honda website. Honda’s Powersports website section can allow you to learn more about the current model year of Gold Wing bikes, build the one you want according to your desired specs and get a quote from your closest dealership. If you’d rather shop in person, you may want to call ahead to your nearest Honda dealer to make sure they have Gold Wing models in stock. That way, you can look at and test drive them.
Browse Online Vehicle Marketplaces
Sites like Autotrader may have what you’re looking for, but you’ll want to zero in on the right section. Autotrader has a motorcycles section, and similar sites may have the same. These marketplace websites often have search filters that you can use to specify the exact kind of bike you’re looking for, including model year and other options. You may or may not be able to complete your purchase online using a marketplace.
Look at Online Auction Sites
Online auction sites like eBay can offer a great way to search for a Honda Gold Wing motorcycle from the comfort of your own home. eBay’s Motorcycles category or another auction site may have the Gold Wing of your dreams, but make sure you read the listing carefully and follow all of the site’s instructions for fraud protection.
Other Places to Look
Classified ads and specialty motorcycle shops may also have what you’re looking for. Craigslist and Facebook Marketplace are two options you can use to search for a used Gold Wing in your area. Just make sure you’re setting the right parameters for distance from your current location. If you’re looking for a specialty Gold Wing, such as a trike, try doing an internet search focused specifically on the type of Gold Wing you want to see if any specialty shops return results.

Short description
A relaxing day of cycling the Italian side of Lake Lugano exploring hilltop villages, rock pools and panoramic churches.
Description
This tour is perfect for anyone wanting to explore a little further off the tourist track but not wanting to commit to too many kilometers or uphills. Our destination today is the Valsolda, the valley that leads us to the Swiss town of Lugano. It is a rather forgotten valley that is full of hidden gems just waiting to be discovered. On our list today is the Santuario della Caravina, offering a spectacular balcony over Lake Lugano. We ride up cobbled walkways to the church entrance, and follow scenic verdant roads as we head to the village of Castello. Perched on a hilltop, it is one of the single best examples of an ancient Italian mountain village. The church of San Martino is affectionately referred to as the Sistine Chapel of Lombardy for it's beautifully frescoed dome. The lake views will not disappoint either. Our day would not be complete without dipping our feet in the crystal clear water of some rock pools we find along the way. We make a lunch stop in an atmospheric local restaurant before we hit the beach of Lake Lugano and enjoy the expansive views of the water and mountains. All that's left to do is finish with an easy ride home following the green fields and stables to Cardano.

This amazing circular route delivers it all: hidden villages, rustic charm, spectacular lake views, quiet mountain roads to cycle, and a stop on Lake Lugano. Leaving busy Lake Como behind, we’ll wind our way into the Val Sanagra nature reserve – lying just above Menaggio, it is one of the lake’s best-kept secrets. Step back in time as you pass evocative stone houses and old water mills dotted along the banks of the gentle Sanagra river.
You will take a slow cycle further into the mountains, riding through the historic villages of Velzo and Naggio, surrounded by grape vines and grassy green fields. A glorious, shady downhill with stunning views guides us onto the shores of Lake Lugano via the old town centre of Porlezza.
We’ll take a break by the beach to take in the scenery and, if you wish, to enjoy a nice drink.
An effortless cycle to our third lake, Lake Piano , will give you the chance to unwind along the quiet country roads that become our playground. We’ll follow the old railway line, now a cycle path, that once connected Lake Como to Lake Lugano until we complete our loop and end back in the Renaissance hamlet of Cardano.
This tour perfectly showcases how e-biking can take everyone everywhere!

Life on the Lake- from Codogna-Cardano CO, Italy- 3 Hours 30 Min- Celebrate the best locations on the lake as we take unexpected roads to reveal the many stories behind some of Lake Como’s most popular villages.
We visit the must-see villages in the Tremezzina area, passing the facades of elegant villas such as the Villa Carlotta, Villa Sola Cabiati and Villa Balbiano.
You will discover lesser-known hamlets such as Griante and Rogaro, and more rural scenery – the spontaneous olive groves; green pastures and old stone washhouses where women would meet and scrub the day’s laundry together. You will be amazed how quickly the landscape changes from sumptuous lakefront properties to quaint farmsteads.
There is so much to be found just off the main lake road and down cobbled paths impossible to reach by car. Weave in and out of the famous ‘Greenway’ path on the way to Lenno and follow the tracks of Mussolini, as your guide tells the stories and intrigues of his final days. Ride the ancient stone bikeway – not suitable for novice and less confident riders.
Suggestive lake views follow us throughout the journey and you will end your tour with a sense of what it is like to live on Lake Como.

Our destinations today are where you dream of going when you’re on the water looking up at the lake cliffs.

Special Mountain Sanctuary
Put your e-bike to the test as we easily head up forested mountain roads dotted with charming stone churches and special views of Lake Lugano.
An excellent tour to experience the full benefit or your e-bike and explore the beautiful mountains of this area. The narrow Intelvi valley separates Lake Como from Lake Lugano.

atmosphere of bygone times transport you far from the bustling lakefront villages of Lake Como.
Leaving along a quiet cycle path, we veer onto the southern banks of Lake Lugano. From here our ascent begins towards the Sanctuary of San Pancrazio, the unexpected beauty of this little-known place of worship never fails to impress visitors.
We make a special effort to have the sanctuary opened for you.
Cycling the best secondary roads of the valley is pure enjoyment with your ebike.
We reach our ‘agriturismo’ at an altitube of roughly 1000m. This typical local mountain restaurant offers delicious dishes using their own produce and is surrounded by mountain pastures. Fairytale lake views are our backdrop for the return home as we cycle down the mountain back to Cardano.

Combine two of the prettiest lake towns by cycling right round the intriguing northern tip of the lake from Menaggio to Varenna – enjoy a leisurely ferry ride back across the lake.
A full day on your e-bike allows you to see so much of the lake.
Unlike our mountain tour, today we essentially follow the lake shore. This is an easy but relatively long ride of 70km. We leave from the charming Renaissance hamlet of Cardano and head down the cycle path to Menaggio. From here we follow the lake road in search of quaint villages; castles; churches and opportunities to cycle close to the water’s edge.
Pass the Villa Gaeta of James Bond Casino Royale fame. Get a feel for how each village has it’s own personality and atmosphere.
There will be no shortage of photo opportunties as we stumble across stunning corners of the lake. Ride along sections of the ‘Antica Via Regina’, a road whose existence can be traced right back to the Romans. We will have a quick, casual lunch (usually a ‘panino’ and icecream) in a local caffe’ at the point where the river Mera flows into the lake.
Once we reach the northern most point we enter the Pian di Spagna nature reserve. The landscape changes dramatically in this area. We ride a maze of small back roads before winding our way round towards Varenna.
Considered by many to be the most beautiful town on the lake, we will have time to explore the “passeggiata degli innamorati”, or Lover’s Walk – a picturesque walkway with gorgeous vistas onto the water.
All that’s left to do is jump on a ferry with our bikes and relax as we head back to Menaggio.

High Altitude Views of Lake
Como Italy’s mountain refuges offer amazing atmosphere, hearty food and spectacular views – we travel the back roads of the Valle d’Intelvi to reach this one-of- a-kind place.
This tour is perfect for anyone with experience cycling a full day in the mountains as today we will be riding a grand total of 80km.
Departing from the charming agricultural hamlet of Cardano in Grandola ed Uniti with it’s cobbled streets and stone houses, we head in the direction of Lake Lugano. Our route crosses the quiet natural reserve of Lake Piano and the shores of Lake Lugano before heading uphill and into the Valle d’Intelvi. Gorgeous shady mountain roads take us ever closer to our destination. As you head out of the forest you find yourself in a vast wonderland of open fields and vistas. We ride the easy gravel road for 4 km uphill along the crest of Monte Galbiga until we reach our ‘rifugio’ at an altutide of 1576m.
This is the last uphill stretch, for which you’ll need some stamina before we are rewarded with a fantastic lunch and a chance to rest. The rustic mountain refuge is a place where lover’s of nature, hiking and cycling all congregate for a lunch of local specialities – this is the best place to try a plate of ‘pizzocheri’, polenta or cheeses all produced locally.
Breathtaking views of Lake Como are our backdrop. The joy of this tour is that we reach a spectacular destination, much loved by the locals while completely avoiding the busy main lake road.

Hello, Is mid-end April 2021 a good season for this track ? ...
Upon arrival in Ponte Tresa, with the FLP train, proceed by road to Monte Mondini. In Pura enter the woods as far as Curio, then through villages and vineyards descend to Madonna del Piano. Varied routes wind through Sessa, Astano and Novaggio, then up to Miglieglia, where the cable car departs for the summit of Monte Lema, giving an all-round view as far as the mountains of Canton Valais.
From Miglieglia you can reach the idyllic Maglio del Malcantone and between dirt roads and fields you arrive at Piano di Caroggio. From Arosio, between paved and dirt roads, pass through Alpe Agra and Cademario. Single-track and dirt roads lead to lake Caslano and the Agno estuary. Finally, following the Vedeggio river you come to Rivera, where you can climb the peak of Monte Tamaro or recover at the Splash & Spa.
From Rivera you climb towards Monte Ceneri on a circular cross-country route; between paved and dirt roads you reach Monti di Medeglia. Hard ground and single-track lead to Isone and Gola di Lago. At Alpe Davrosio proceed along a panoramic path, dirt road and single-track, until Alpe Piandanazzo, from where a dirt road leads to the Monte Bar alpine hut to enjoy the wonderful view.
From the alpine hut, Capanna Monte Bar along scenic, unpaved and paved roads, you reach Corticiasca and then, passing through the villages of the valley, come to Bogno. The dirt roads lead to the San Lucio pass and then to Pairolo. After crossing the woods in the direction of the scenic Roveraccio, proceed to Cadro, where a steep dirt road climb leads to Capanna Alpe Bolla.
A track in the woods leads to Brè village; go up to the panoramic peak and then down to Lugano, passing through Parco Ciani then follow the lake to Melide. Thereafter proceed to Alpe Vicania, Parco San Grato and the village of Carona. Towards Ciona you once again take a dirt road that leads to Morcote, one of the most beautiful villages in Switzerland, from where you can return to Lugano by boat.
