At All Points East, Haim will be joined by a number of artists including Girl In Red, Confidence Man, Lizzy McAlpine, Tove Lo, Joesef, Snail Mail, Romy, Avalon Emerson + The Charm, Durand Jones, Mae Stephens, Nell Mescal and gigi.

Haim review, O2 Arena: A shock Taylor Swift cameo is a bonus prize in a sensational night of rock-star gold
Slinky, breathless and defiant, the california trio of sister musicians prove they might just be the best rock band in the world right now, article bookmarked.

The greatest rock stars stay teenagers forever. Iggy Pop? Behind those wrinkles lurks the boundless energy of a high schooler. The Rolling Stones? An adolescent garage band with killer tunes. Debbie Harry. Stevie Nicks. Bruce Springsteen. All are older, wiser than they used to be, but still retain the wide-eyed verve of when they were 15 and dreaming about maybe one day having the coolest job imaginable. Haim , the Californian trio of sister musicians, firmly belong in this esteemed lineage, too.
When they break into a choreographed dance routine during the last stop on their European tour, at London’s O2 Arena, they gyrate with the endearing disorganisation of kids in the playground. They chastise one another for talking about magic mushrooms in front of their parents, who’ve flown over from the US to watch. When they announce surprise guest Taylor Swift , a mid-gig cameo that produces an audience-wide squeal so loud it could probably be heard from space, they shout with the manic breathlessness of superfans. After the pop giant departs, they gather centre stage, three women just as floored by what’s just happened as everyone watching. “Well, that was f***ing cool,” deadpans youngest sister Alana. Same, girl, same.
The top of the show is marked by feelings of gratitude. Alana, middle sister Danielle and oldest sister Este reminisce on when they last played the O2 a decade ago, as a support act for Florence and the Machine. “Do you think we’ll ever headline this place?” Alana remembers asking her siblings. The story serves as a neat demonstration not only of the band’s arguably underappreciated industry power – four Grammy nods; three albums of elastic, genre-hopping brilliance; Nicks as a mentor and Swift as a bestie; a Golden Globe nomination for Alana’s performance in Paul Thomas Anderson’s 2022 film Licorice Pizza – but how rapidly they’ve accumulated it.
Witness their Godzilla-sized stage presence, though, and it’s hardly surprising. Dressed in matching black bras and loose pleather trousers, they don’t so much walk the stage as prowl. They’re great movers. A wiggle. A high kick. A tit grab. Their hair seems to transform depending on the mood. It’s lank with ennui for a ballad. It sweeps from side to side like a supermodel on an up-tempo. It’s something to hide behind during a bittersweet rendition of “Hallelujah”, about Alana’s late best friend Sammi Kane Kraft, who died in 2012.
Their stage banter is gently rivalrous when it comes to which sister gets the biggest laugh, delivers the longest anecdote, incites the loudest cheer. Este at first seems to win with a story about a – presumably fictional – man she pegged in a Nando’s bathroom in Cardiff, which segues into a rendition of the slinky booty call number “3 AM”. But then Danielle transforms into Patti Smith on a stripped-back solo version of “Man from the Magazine”, about a belittling, sexualised interaction with a male journalist when the band were just starting out. “You don’t know how it feels to be the c***,” she spits. The crowd screams in pumped-up defiance.

Swift’s appearance understandably draws the biggest buzz of the night – it’s all everyone seems to be talking about upon exit from the arena – and mashing up their sultry “Gasoline” and her immortal “Love Story” is indeed brilliant. But it’s very much a bonus prize for an already sensational night. Haim might just be the best rock band in the world right now.

Haim Cancel European Tour Dates to Finish Album
The trio explained that they're at a "critical point of finishing up" their album right now.
This morning Haim took to their Twitter account to share the announcement with fans that they would unfortunately have to cancel their upcoming European tour dates.
Last month the trio gave fans a bit of an update , saying that they had plans to return to their parents’ home to write and record new music in their living room like old times. The girls explained that they were trying to get back to their “normal life” to where it all began in order to create music the way they’re used to. “All of our band rehearsals until recently were in our living room, and we wrote every song in our living room,” bassist Este explained.
With a fall release date still in mind and their summer tour dates rapidly approaching, Haim have made the choice to cancel their upcoming dates in order to complete their album. In a handwritten note shared on their Twitter they explain that they “hoped to be done with recording” by now. They went on to say that they are at a “critical point of finishing up and need to stay close to home until it’s complete.”

Haim Will Hit the Road for ‘One More Haim’ North American Tour in 2022
- By Larisha Paul
Larisha Paul
Haim have announced their 2022 headlining, arena, and theater spanning One More Haim tour, slated to begin in Las Vegas, Nevada on April 24 and wrap in Bend, Oregon on June 14.
Across the 27-date tour, the trio of sisters will make stops in Chicago, Houston, Miami, Washington, DC, Seattle, Toronto, Philadelphia, and more, including a night at New York’s Madison Square Garden on May 17.
Tickets for the One More Haim tour will be available starting Friday, Dec. 10 at 10 a.m. local time via Live Nation and the official Haim website .
The Haim sisters are bringing some special guests on the road, including Buzzy Lee, Faye Webster, Sasami, Waxahatchee, and Princess Nokia — all for select dates throughout the tour.
The country-wide shows will mark Haim’s first official U.S. tour for the Grammy-nominated album Women In Music Pt. III , which dropped in June last year. The trio first attempted a tour of semi-secret shows in delicatessens across America last spring in anticipation of the album, but only got through two turkey-and-cheese-scented shows before the pandemic shut the trek down.
“When we got our first record, I was 21 or 22, and now I’m 28,” Alana told Rolling Stone last year. “And with growth and age, you get more confidence. I feel like a completely different person than when we first started this band, and I feel like this record does that justice.”

Feature Artist: HAIM Now Opening For North American Leg Of Eras Tour
- Julia Laughlin
- July 28, 2023
Last Saturday (July 22) HAIM joined Taylor Swift on stage at her Seattle show for the Eras Tour. It’s great to see one of our Music Daily Discoveries now hitting big stadium stages!
Eras Tour Opener, HAIM
The pop/rock trio and Swift debuted a live performance of their collaborative track, “No Body, No Crime.” The track appears on Taylor’s 2020 LP Evermore . Additionally, the “Anti-Hero” singer featured on HAIM’s 2021 track “Gasoline” from their third studio album, Women in Music Pt. III . In fact, HAIM will be accompanying Swift on the Eras Tour as the opening act for the remainder of the North American leg.
Prior, HAIM was the opener for Swift’s 1989 World Tour in 2015. Taylor and HAIM are not only supportive business partners but close friends, spending Birthdays, vacations and awards shows together.
The Story Behind The Sibling Pop/Rock Trio
HAIM proves siblings can in fact get along. HAIM sisters Este, Danielle and Alana cultivate their authentic sound by modernizing ’70s rock, ’80s synth pop, and ‘90’s R&B. With musicians in their bloodline, and an exceptional ear for music, HAIM was always destined for greatness. They play a multitude of instruments and have a gift for crafting hooks as well as songwriting.
Their 2013 debut album Days Are Gone saw rapid success in the U.K., peaking at number six on the Billboard 200 Albums chart. Critically-acclaimed hit singles “The Wire” and “Forever” introduced their diverse sound to a widespread audience.
However, HAIM would not unleash their sophomore album Something to Tell You until July 2017. The LP peaked at number two on the U.K. Albums Chart and single “Want You Back” at number ten on Billboard’s Hot Rock & Alternative Songs chart. Additionally, the deluxe version arrived in December 2017. HAIM then would embark on another tour and make their Coachella debut in 2018.
HAIM’s Grammy-Nominated LP, “Women In Music Pt III”
Following, HAIM would release their third body of work Women in Music Pt. III . in 2021. The 2021 Grammys marked a career defining moment for the trio. HAIM became the first all-female rock band to receive a nomination for album of the year. The LP tackled extremely personal topics such as the loss of Alana’s best friend, Este’s to Type 1 Diabetes, Danielle’s post-tour depression and her partner’s cancer diagnosis. Besides that, the group titled the album Women in Music Pt. III . so interviewers would stop asking them what it’s like being a Woman in music.
Danielle states in an interview with People Magazine:
“I kept seeing that phrase, which I think is just a funny phrase in general and it’s tossed around a lot, but I kept seeing it on billboards, and I woke up laughing and I called my sisters and we were trying to figure out what the album was going to be called for a while. And it didn’t present itself until pretty late in the game. At first, we were like, “I don’t know, are people going to get it?” And we’re like, “You know what?” In the spirit of being spontaneous, it made us laugh and we thought it was funny because we got asked, “What’s it like to be a woman in music?” Or, “What’s it like to be women in music?” We had gotten that question every interview since 2012. So we thought, we think it’s funny: Maybe if we name our album that, people will get the picture not to ask the question. And it worked. And then also don’t ask any other woman what it’s like from now on.”
After that, the trailblazing trio released “Lost Track” in 2022 about feeling numb in the midst of an unfortunate situation.
“Tryin’ to get on top / But it’s never easy / Mastered my own luck / But it wasn’t easy / I’m tryin’ to feel alright / Around all these people / I try, but I’m just numb / This time.”
“Home” From ‘Barbie’ The Album
Most recently, HAIM appeared on track ten of the film soundtrack that has everyone tuned in: Barbie The Album . Produced by Rostam and Danielle Haim herself, “Home” is an alternative synth pop track. It’s self-reflection, finding peace after grueling times and accepting the uncertainty of the future. “Home is a symphony and it’s bittersweet when it’s callin’ me / Just another river deep, flowing to an ocean / I know that I may never know; the future, unpredictable / A hundred choices led me here, lessons learned with every tear.” HAIM has found inner confidence and self respect.
