Louis Cole initially started out enthralling (and grossing out) viewers with his adventurous ability to eat every odd delicacy that was dead or alive.

Today, this U.K. travel vlogger has taken to daily vlogs of his life, inspiring viewers to live the adventure while travelling the world.

A well-loved travel vlog hero of YouTube, not only does he make binge-watching addictive, but he incorporates 360-degree video and has his fans introduce his videos.

2. Mr Ben Brown

Mr. Ben Brown is mostly known as a YouTube vlogger. But he travels a bit and his Visual Vibes series showcases some seriously stunning travel cinematography, which will leave you breathless.

An expert storyteller, his vlogs are partly filmed from his perspective, as if you’re inside his head.

Whether skiing, motorbiking or hiking, you’ll feel like you’re moving vicariously with him, as he traipses around the world to meet up with his posse of YouTuber friends.

Ben joined YouTube in 2006 definitely making him one of the older travel vloggers (at least by channel age) out there.

The Vagabrothers are the wacky boys of the travel vlogging world.

As charismatic travel hosts revving you for the flight,  they offer a cultural soft side into the joys of travelling.

Their travel videos incorporate fun shooting styles, collaborations with other YouTubers, destination guides focused on culture, and lethal drone shots.

4. Hey Nadine

As the reigning top female travel vlogs on YouTube, Nadine Sykora knows what YouTube audiences want.

Mark of Woltersworld is my favorite ‘Loves & Hates Travel Guy’, sharing his unchained opinion on what travelers will love, hate and be shocked with about each city.

He tells it like it is and his honesty won’t take away your excitement in experiencing the place for yourself.

His videos are highly informative insights, which crack the travel code of each country.

7. Hopscotch the Globe

Kristin Sarah merges her acting chops with her love for travel in Hopscotch the Globe .

She’s like that fun travel bestie who’s not afraid to be a little silly. Her channel incorporates vlogging with cultural parodies and travel inspired DIY recipes.

Today, she shares her channel spotlight with her husband Siya; together, these travel partners in crime hop around the globe, creating weekly entertainment.

They’ve also recently added a baby drone into their picture!

If twenty-something backpacking is your thing, check out Psychotraveller .

Ally dishes backpacking travel tips, vlogs and travel budget information, all with a dose of humor.

9. GRRRL TRAVELER

Does traveling alone freak you out? Christine Kaaloa of GRRRL TRAVELER takes you inside the adventurous world of solo travel and shows you how she survives it.

Dave and Deb of The Planet D , not only live the dream of travel, but they also visit some of the most exotic places that most of us can only dream about!

This zany travel-adventure couple have blogged about adventure travel for the past 10 years, and now they’re on YouTube too, inspiring each other (and others) to take a passion for adventure to the next level. Making the list as one of the couple travel vloggers to watch.

From polar ice plunges in Antarctica to riding the fastest zipline or ballooning over the Masai Mara, their channel covers a bucket list of activities to try when you’re looking to leave your comfort zone.

Ever think of packing up your family life and hitting the road in an RV?

Nikki and Jason of Gone with the Wynns sold it all and packed it up to hit the highway.

From composting toilets to solar powering an RV (okay, not your everyday travel story), they’ve transformed the concept of an RV travel lifestyle for YouTube.

Their videos are well-shot and occasionally, filmed like a sexy commercial (okay, not your every day RV travel video).

Recently, they’ve made a rather new change in their lives, by trading in their RV for a sailboat!

13. Samuel & Audrey

You may know Samuel and Audrey as their travel blogging aliases, Nomadic Samuel and That Backpacker .

As former ex-Korea expats, this adorable travel geek couple are on an indefinite road between expat life and nomadism.

Their channel is prolific with destination guides and food taste tests.

For audiences, who want to get their binge watching on without taking a break, they are also known to occasionally have long format videos.

14. 8 Miles from Home

Inspiring us to take our dream lifestyle (and dog) abroad is 8 Miles from Home .

Sacha and Jymael are British photographers turn expat vloggers, documenting their life in Thailand.

Their vlogs are cinematic video diaries, occasionally incorporate dazzling special FX.

Recently they announced their new adventure~ a move to Portugal and a baby!

15. The Food Ranger

If you love Asian food, Trevor is The Food Ranger of Asia. An expat in Sichuan, China, he chomps and slurps some of the best Chinese cuisine (and uh, some pretty obscure foods too).

Commendable is his ability to upload regular videos while staying under China’s banned radar (YouTube and Google are banned in China).

He’s quickly growing a following as a new foodie channel to watch.

Like all lists, people will wonder why they’re not on it. I’m positive I missed some good ones, but this is very loose criteria I’d be using if I were hired to cast, produce or pitch a TV show. Creators did not need to meet all criteria, but most. – Programming: Weekly dedication, quality, storytelling & individual style execution – Audience: Niche, loyalty, & YouTube friendly – Blog worthy and/or binge worthy – Does it bring a new spin to the term “travel video” or “travel show” – Channel Personality/Talent: brand recognition, hosting & entertainment value

The Best Travel Vloggers on YouTube in 2022

If you’re anything like me, your YouTube home feed includes a lot of travel stories, with food and travel vloggers, around the world explorers, van life channels, and outdoor adventurers.

Watching travel videos helps me decide where to travel next in the world, and what exactly to do once I get there.

In person travel around the world is difficult with the pandemic right now, so I’ve loved watching travel adventures virtually from my favorite YouTubers. It’s a wonderful way to mentally escape the stress and uncertainty of the last year.

YouTube has more than 2 billion (yes, that’s billion with a b ) monthly logged in users. If you’re a prospective travel vlogger, getting your videos on YouTube can be as easy as filming a video, editing with a video editor , and uploading. Because getting started on YouTube can be so simple, that’s meant plenty of vloggers, with interesting stories to tell, are on the platform.

Many of my favorite vloggers introduce viewers to bucket list travel adventures around the world, while others stay closer to home.

Several travel bloggers on this list, like Kara and Nate, made the transition from around-the-word travel videos to van life during the pandemic. Others have bought and renovated isolated cabins, while others continue their adventures locally.

I enjoy watching their current adventures, but it’s also a great time to dig back in the archives and watch older videos. I even check out a few classic travel TV shows from time to time!

The Best Travel YouTube Channels

Kara and Nate 2.1 Million YouTube Subscribers

I just found Kara and Nate’s channel in the last year. It’s fantastic, and I wish I’d found it sooner! Kara and Nate are a husband and wife team from Nashville Tennessee, who traveled to 100 countries before travel slowed down in 2020.

The production quality of this channel is fantastic, with high quality videography, and great audio as well. These days, they’re making content driving through the USA in a van, with plenty of stops at interesting accommodations and attractions along the way.

Eamon and Bec 782K YouTube subscribers

Eamon and Bec are a Canadian couple that I started watching when they were travelling around Europe and Morocco in their self converted Sprinter van. There’s plenty of gorgeous content on here about their travels, their vegan recipes (they even have a vegan cookbook), and life on the road.

These days, Eamon and Bec are vlogging about renovating their cabin in the woods of Ontario, Canada.

Foresty Forest 245K YouTube subscribers

Foresty Forest is the real deal, if you’re interested in bicycle touring, ascending mountains, and the great outdoors. His crockpot makes frequent appearances, with simple home cooked meals made in the van.

This is old school YouTube, without paid sponsorships, or paid reviews.

You’ll find yourself singing the insanely catchy theme song, “ Foresty Forest, he lives in a van… Foresty Forest! “

I always catch myself smiling when there’s a new Foresty Forest upload.

Favorite video: Living in a Minivan During Freezing Temperatures

Christian Schaffer – 70K subscribers

Christian makes her living as an outdoor adventure and travel photographer, and was a former Abercrombie model and retail manager.

As you’d expect, her travel videography is beautiful, but the channel is also packed full of thoughtful, intelligent tips about van life, making money, and life in general.

The Wild Card: Tom Green 267K YouTube subscribers

Bet you didn’t expect to find Tom Green on this list!

Tom is best known as a comedian, whose career started on MTV in the 1990s. He’s known for quirky and often pretty juvenile comedy like the Bum Bum Song , the Slutmobile , and Hollywood films Road Trip and Charlie’s Angels, as well as being married to Drew Barrymore in the early 2000s.

These days, Green seems a lot more introspective, as he’s vlogging his van life with his adorable dog, Charlie. Green’s still a quirky mix, with gorgeous cinematography, visits to stunning and out of the way places, musical offerings, and rambling, free-form live streams.

Slim Potatohead 129K YouTube subscribers

Slim Potatohead is something of an outlier among travel vlogs.

There’s definitely good videography and storytelling here, but this is not the vlog for you if you’re looking for fast paced, high excitement travel. Slim meanders along on his adventures, and it often seems like very little happens in a given blog. That said, he’s definitely an authentic voice that’s well worth checking out.

He travels pulling a small older trailer, spending plenty of time off grid in nature. Older videos feature the USA and Mexico, but these days he’s focusing on travel within Canada. There are videos on frugal camper renovations, camping spots, and plenty of exploring and meandering.

Mark Wiens 7.28 Million YouTube subscribers

Enthusiastic and energetic, Mark Wiens is a food vlogger who shares about South East Asia from his home base in Bangkok, Thailand.

I was first introduced to Mark’s Migrationology blog back in 2012, and I’ve loved following his transition to being one of YouTube’s most popular food and travel vloggers.

He features plenty of street food videos, with a strong focus on Thai food and travel.

Tyler and Todd 77K YouTube subscribers

Tyler and Todd are one of my absolute favorite channels. They’re funny, engaging, and have absolutely gorgeous videography and solid audio.

They’re a Canadian couple who travel with their adorable dogs Charlie and Eddy.

Because of the pandemic, they’re currently not traveling, but I’ve loved following along as they make a home in Nova Scotia, building an off grid cabin.

Incredibly personable and funny, they’re a treat to watch each week.

Vancity Vanlife 145K YouTube subscribers

Vancity Vanlife features Chrome and his adorable bulldog pup, Cruz.

Chrome is a former professional DJ, so this is a fantastic channel if you love great music and great audio. As a former DJ, he has a fantastic voice for audio.

He uploads almost every day, and this channel is a throwback to early daily vlogs of YouTube. Videos are based mostly around Vancouver, British Columbia, but he does sojourn around Canada and into the USA when he’s able. It’s a great channel to get a feel for daily van life realities.

Drew Binsky 2.34 Million YouTube subscribers

Drew, an American YouTuber, is definitely an engaging, entertaining presence on YouTube. He’s also controversial, as he continued traveling during the pandemic, and he’s garnered criticism for visiting countries like North Korea.

This is the type of channel that you’ll likely either love or hate.

Favorite travel video: He is the Ice Man (Wim Hof)

Project Amber 57K YouTube subscribers

Project Amber follows the adventures of a UK vlogger and his adorable Spaniel puppy, Lance as they travel in a converted ex-ambulance.

There’s plenty of great content in the archives that features road trips around the UK and Europe.

The man and dog duo just bought off-grid land in Portugal, and I’m looking forward to watching his local Portuguese adventures.

Lost in Europe

Ash Pollard of Lost in Europe is a 27 year old photographer from Leicester/England.

As the channel title suggests, he mostly features van travel around Europe. There’s some gorgeous videography here, and I’ve loved his time in Scotland, as well has his new content on van life in the winter.

Bald and Bankrupt 2.66 Million subscribers

Bald and Bankrupt follows the adventures of English travel vlogger Benjamin Rich, who mostly focuses on visiting post-Soviet states.

This channel is much more about meeting everyday people, and getting to know them and their lives, than cinematic scenes and views. It’s great entertainment, and I love that it focuses on getting to know people.

Like Drew Binsky, Rich has travelled during the pandemic. Rich was hospitalized for nine days for coronavirus in July 2020 in Serbia, which was not under lockdown at the time. He admitted that he was “blasé” about the pandemic, and has cautioned his viewers to take the pandemic seriously.

The Best Travel Youtube Channels

Kara and nate, who are they:  .

Kara and Nate are travel vloggers that are just good wholesome fun.  They set out from Nashville Tennesee to travel the world about 5 years ago.  Soon after, they made a bucket list goal to visit 100 countries by 2020.  They met their 100-country goal, and by that time, YouTube was a steady career for them.  Kara and Nate are truly addicted to international travel, but COVID changed that game for the couple.  Having no quit in them, they found a way to travel safely and returned to the United States.  They converted a Sprinter van and have set a new goal to visit all 50 states.  Kara and Nate are one of the largest travel channels and have now put out more than 800 videos, so you better get started!

What Makes Kara and Nate Special:  

Kara is a joyful soul. Her big smile and contagious laugh keep you smiling the whole episode.  Plus, she is always ready to laugh at herself and just seems like an all-around nice person.  Nate is so driven and incredibly smart.  Their channel not only provides solid entertainment but great travel hacks and tips from Nate.  Nate has an online course on credit card travel hacks, while Kara sells courses on editing.

Kara and Nate don’t just randomly vlog, they focus on finding the absolute best and most unique experiences and accommodations in their travels.  On top of all that, their filming and editing skills are above and beyond most in the travel vlog world.  They have taken this venture as a business from early on in the process, and it shows.  They are some of the best travel vloggers in the world!

Flying the Nest

Stephen and Jess are an Australian couple who have been traveling the world for years!  We have watched them grow up, get married, and start a family on YouTube.  Currently, they are traveling Australia in their brand new converted van, “Cooper The Van.”  Stephen and Jess show us the best places to eat, unique places to stay, and how to still have adventure even when the kiddos come along.

What Makes Flying the Nest Special:  

Jess is possibly the most down-to-earth beauty out there.  Nothing seems to ruffle her feathers, and she is just a calming force to watch.  Stephen is quirky and so funny.  He is a dork, and he knows it, and he owns it!  Their love for each other is evident, and it’s just a feel-good watch.  Plus, now they have the addition of beautiful baby Hunter, the most chill travel baby ever! 

Hunter has added a whole new level of cute to the series, and the whole audience feels like proud parents watching their own child experience her first Aussie beach sunset.  They are a beautiful family, with a beautiful story.  In addition to all this, Stephen’s camera work and elegant editing style are all his own.  His work is distinguishable and excellent!  We think Flying the Nest is one of the best travel youtube channels out there!

Who Are They :

There is nothing more fun on the planet than watching these two crazy Welsh kids tackle the world! Their accents are hilarious.  They are hilarious.  Craig and Aimee have been together for a very long time, and their relationship has been strengthened by a near-death experience by each of them!  When they met, Aimee had just received a cancer diagnosis, and the road was long and hard.  Then, Craig challenged their relationship some more with a broken neck from an adventure sports accident. 

These two events, in a short span of time, convinced this crazy pair to chase after an unconventional life, and to live every moment to its fullest! Through it all, they have kept their joy and their sense of spontaneity.  Their motto is to “Rule Your Own World,” and they certainly do.  They have spent the last couple of years renovating a Mercedes Vario Bus into their new home.  Custard the Bus is a beauty, and her European adventures are just beginning. They have 500 travel videos for you to binge!  We think they are one of the best travel channels on YouTube and terribly underrated. 

What Makes Kinging It Special:

Craig and Aimee are absolutely hilarious.  They will have you wetting yourself, every episode!  Plus, they take on the wildest challenges.  They have completed the massive and absurd Mongol Rally, a competition that travels all through Europe and Asia, usually ending somewhere in Eastern Russia.  The car must be a clunker and have under a 1L engine, and chaos is highly encouraged!  Craig and Aimee’s Mongol Rally Series will have you rolling. Then these crazy kids bought their own rickshaw and proceeded to drive it from across India from North to South.  It was a wild ride.  Craig and Aimee are two personalities that you won’t soon forget, and their wild abandon, hilarious travel stories, and zest for life will make you want to live a little more freely, and “Rule your own world!”

Raya and Louis

Who are they:.

Raya and Louis are fairly new to the Travel YouTube scene as a couple, but Louis Cole has been in the biz for a long time.  His original channel, FunForLouis has over 2Million Subs, and it’s easy to see why.  Louis is just likable with his laidback vibe and a head full of dreadlocks. He’s an easy-going and loveable dude.  He and Raya are currently traveling through Europe in a rented van visiting family and taking holiday, but soon they will head back to their main mission.  They have about 50 videos out, so you can still easily catch up with the adventure.

What Makes Raya and Louis Special: 

Raya and Louis are into deep convos.  They have spilled the beans about the hard parts of their relationships and mental health issues, and there is just something about that level of vulnerability that makes you want to watch. They are also very eco-conscious and give great tips on how to travel in an eco-friendly way.  They have recently purchased land in Costa Rica to build a tree-house jungle community.  Like with everyone else, COVID changed their plans a bit, but soon, they will be making their way down to Costa Rica in their converted school bus to start a new life!  We can’t wait to see the community they build. 

Endless Adventure

Eric and Allison are the most charming couple from Missouri.  They’re sometimes Southern twang and complete and utter talent to be their quirky selves is both endearing and super funny.  Eric is a computer geek and a total self-proclaimed nerd.  Allison is red-headed beauty with the best big awkward laugh.  These two specialize in unique accommodations and lots of food! They always show us the best places to eat, and exactly what weird foods to try.

E and B are another great couple that has proved during this pandemic that they could sit and do absolutely nothing, and we would still tune in every Sunday to get our fix!  We have watched them tackle everything from van conversions to home conversion, dog fostering, and more. Rick Steves is the king of all things travel-related. Period.  There are no better travel guide books on the planet! His fabulously detailed books and ridiculously nerdy audio guides have been leading us through Europe and making us snort-laugh for years! But, the YouTube videos he produces are just as good.  Rick isn’t really a vlogger in the traditional sense.  His videos are definitely professionally researched, written, filmed, and produced by a talented professional team.  They are just the right mix of fun and informative, with all the necessary information on tourist sites and local must-do items. 

What Makes Rick Steves Special:

In short, the experience.  Rick has traveled Europe extensively, with multiple visits to each country.  His team of local guides, researchers, and destination experts put for the most up-to-date and interesting information and leave out the fluff!  With well over 1800 videos to peruse, there really is no better place to get all your necessary trip information. 

Sailing la Vagabonde

Riley and Elayna have the world’s largest sailing YouTube channel.  These two Aussies are going through a transition though.  They recently had their second baby and sailed their last sail.  So, what is up for the crazy foursome now?  We don’t really know, but we know it will be fun!

Tania and Adam are an Irish and English couple traveling the UK with their Sprinter van  Jitters.  They are different in the YouTube crowd.  They make travel vlogs, yes, but not all that often.  They are self-proclaimed slow travelers, who put out new videos whenever they feel like it. They traveled internationally for 12 years before leaving for full-time travel and had already experienced several amazing destinations as a pair.  So, they bring a unique blend of touristy sites juxtaposed with everyday local life and budget travel tips.  They dance with Albanians at a baby’s birthday party, play street games with old Turkish men, and score the best local foods in every destination.  COVID definitely made local interaction harder for them, as they regrettably express, but we look forward to seeing more of their off-the-beaten-path lifestyle in the future!  Keep up the good work guys!

Emily and Danny feel like instant friends.  They are just so likable.  Danny and Emily set out in their van, with their cat Graham and dog Sombrita right after they got married.  They have since been traveling through Central America with their nomad pet family! Their goal is to make the full journey from Seattle to Argentina in their tiny, colorful van.  Though they are new to video making, their vlogs are heartfelt and laidback.  Danny is a lifelong BMX biker and app developer, with a surfer boy vibe and Emily is the sweetest soul. Kara and Nate  – couples Youtube travel channel

With over 3 million subscribers, Kara and Nate are one of the most popular travel Youtubers around. Their vlogs are wonderfully edited, tell a good story, and the couple are so down to earth and easily relatable. 

Their original goal was to travel to full time after quitting their jobs, living a backpacking lifestyle while trying to create their online business. When their YouTube channel took off, they decided to go to 100 countries, which they managed to complete before the pandemic. 

During the pandemic, they pivoted again and vanlife! The couple bought a van and were driving all over the US as they try to go to all 50 states, showing various cities and park ups along the way. 

Covering unique accommodations, various transportation, and showcasing the cities they visit, they’re at the top of my list and I would devour any video they had when they uploaded. Love that they also show behind the scenes – that they would stay in one place for a few days at a time in order to work on their vlogs and various other business ventures. Oh, did we mention that they travel hack too? 

Another traveling couple, Eamon and Bec successfully pivoted from corporate jobs, to small business owners, to van lifters, and now own a house in a remote part of Canada with a mortgage. 

All these projects drew us to their channel, since they are roughly our age and love their lifestyle. Also having a home to call their own at the end of the trip is one of our goals. We also have a home of our own!

Flying the Nest are an Australian family with a toddler living in a van in Australia but also traveling around the world. The original travels were of the couple, until they has a new addition to their family. 

Our family can relate to this channel the most and we are getting tips on how to travel with a toddler. They also explain that their travel style isn’t like before, where they will be up at sunrise and do activities until the evening. With a toddler, one has to schedule activities around the kid’s nap time, needs, and interests. 

Our travel style with our toddler involves a lot of outdoor activities with playtime, naps, and snack breaks in between.

He has a lot of guests on his travel series, Journey Across Japan, so you can also follow and check those vlogs out. In fact, if you just want pure Japan videos, just watch Journey Across Japan – amazing travel videos that cover almost every little city and town to go to in Japan. If you don’t have as much time to spend in certain Japanese cities or experiences, check out Wacky Weekends with Cdawgva. Some of the wacky weekends are absurd, where they go to disgusting hotels, but some are really done thoughtfully that you can recreate their trips on your own.

Abroad in Japan’s most notable (and funny) collabs are with the Youtubers cdawgva and The Anime Man , both foreigners and create Japan and anime content, respectively.

Sailing La Vagabonde  – full time sailing family (boatlife)

Ever thought of living on a sailboat and getting away from it all? This is the premise of Sailing La Vagabonde ‘s channel, a family of 4 who’ve and work full time on their sailboat. 

While we love cruising and living close to the water, we can’t imagine sailing full time. I guess I watch the channel since it allows me to go to a lot of Islands I would never get to visit in my lifetime.

Lost Leblanc has two channels, a vlog and a more structured one. I love the rawness on the vlog channels as compared to the more produced original Lost leblanc channel. 

If you want to see amazing cinematography with lots of travel drone footage and creative transitions then this channel is for you! 

He is a couple’s traveler, so we can definitely relate, and has gone to some aspirational places that we would want to visit eventually.

Jits into the Sunset  – couple vanlifer with amazing Youtube videos

We were introduced to Jits into the Sunset when they were on the King-ing It vlog. The couple, Tania and Adam, live full time in an old Peugeot van and take us to adventures all over Europe and beyond. 

This channel has amazing cinematography and storytelling that it is hard to notbwstch their videos. They don’t post as often, but when they do, it is something to definitely watch out for.

Another couple’s traveler, Tim and Fin now live in Florida (where we live) and are location independent small business owners. Thanks to their Amazon FBA business, they are free to travel the world with their dog, Pepper. 

Because these guys travel Hack a lot and show the honest side of traveling, I find them very relatable. They love uploading really long form videos so if you want to binge watch a specific city that they have visited and blogged about, you are in luck. 

I was first exposed to them when they were vanlifers, living on a huge RV bus as they were traveling around the US. Then, they ditched that RV and settled down and bought a house close to our second home base of Sarasota, Florida.

This channel is a bit hit or miss when it comes to travel content, but if they do like what they do, then you’re in for a treat. 

Yes Theory is a group of guys who go to far flung places and show the world what that part of the world is like. Thomas Bragg, the face of the group, is very likeable and you can’t help but want to travel with these guys too.

Loved their content on the lost ruins in Guatemala as well as the least visited country on earth. I’m sure a lot of people agree too since these videos had millions of views!

A couple from Wales takes us on wacky and fun adventures throughout the world. These guys are so down to earth and hilarious, and the main reason why they travel should be the reason why we should be living life on our terms. 

Aimee had cancer, fought it, and realized there’s more to life than what we are “programmed” to do. Craig had a debilitating accident that pretty much changed his outlook on life. If they are not doing crazy challenges, they live on a converted green school bus whom they named Custard. 

I got exposed to Johnny Harris work through Vox Borders – a documentary series that shows interesting borders, like Dominican Republic and Haiti and Hong Kong and China. 

Since going independent from Vox, his videos delve into different other topics, not just travel, so you don’t have to binge watch his videos if they are not for you. 

He travels a lot with his wife and 2 young kids, but those videos that we have grown to love are a bit few and far between.

The visual storytelling that video content allows for is perfect for travel. I think it’s an amazing way to discover new and unique perspectives on travel.

Travel videos resonate with aspiring adventurers in a way that can be difficult with written content.

Plus, it’s a great way of getting to know a creator and the face behind a travel blog . I love that travel vlogs provide a more personal approach that combines an informative experience with wonderful creativity.

To help you discover the best travel content out there, I have compiled a list of the top travel vloggers and YouTubers for the most engaging travel video content.

I think her energy is genuinely infectious, adding an optimistic and lively dimension to travel and adventure.

It’s this approach that elevates her storytelling, inspiring young people to travel. Her videos are helpful and informative, from packing guides to handy travel hacks.

Hey Nadine is therefore a great resource for aspiring young adventurers.

Sam Kolder is a Canadian adventurer and creator of exceptional travel videos. As a seriously talented travel filmmaker, Kolder’s videos are nothing short of cinematic masterpieces.

Kold is a channel for high quality travel content, as well as some educational videos for aspiring filmmakers.

In his travel videos, you’ll discover engaging storytelling and the best transitions you’ve ever seen. Kolder is also known for his incredible drone shots and a habit for backflipping off tall structures.

Christian LeBlanc is another Canadian adventurer. His unwavering passion for travel shines through his well executed videos on his YouTube channel, Lost LeBlanc .

He has created a dedicated community of like-minded travellers as a result. I love that LeBlanc encourages his viewers to step out of their comfort zones in the pursuit of adventure and global discovery.

He offers a lot of resources to other aspiring travel filmmakers and photographers, teaching both the creative and business side of the travel vlogging sphere.

Formerly known as Migrationology, Mark Wien’s travel vlog is one for the foodies. He believes that food is the reason you should travel and believe me when I say that his dribble-worthy videos strongly support this claim!

His content combines incredible food discoveries with highly watchable travel experiences.

Mark is based in Thailand with his wife, but he frequently travels all over the world trying amazing food from various different countries and cultures.

He is constantly on the hunt for local delicacies and mouth-watering meals.

Phil Good Travel

In the Phil Good Travel vlog , Phil Calvert travels across Europe sprinkling positivity everywhere he goes. His aim is to promote solidarity between all backgrounds, races, and upbringings.

Given that black travellers are frequently the minority in Europe, Phil has set out to create a community of black travellers in this part of the world.

I love that he brings open-mindedness and optimism to his travel videos, and his enthusiasm is truly infectious.

Sorelle Amore

Sorelle is a quirky bundle of energy with a huge and infectious smile.

Her YouTube channel offers more than just travel, whether it’s home updates or ‘Advanced Selfie’ photography tips. In short, she wants to inspire confidence and creativity.

Her videos feel very authentic, with none of the superficial or forced feel that you sometimes get with other vloggers. Sorelle is constantly striving to be a better human, and tries to inspire others to do the same.

She recently moved to Iceland, so if you love Iceland content (who doesn’t!) then you’ll love some of her latest videos.

Solo female travel vloggers

Brooke saward.

A travel vlogger from Tasmania, Brooke Saward aims to inspire young people to travel more, and to feel more confident travelling solo.

Brooke documents her travels on her YouTube channel in a way that feels authentic and accessible. A popular blogger, vlogger, author, and adventurer.

Eva zu Beck

Eva zu Beck is an adventure traveller and solo female explorer. On her YouTube channel Eva explores less visited destinations which are not commonly seen in mainstream travel media.

Whether it’s visiting Aleppo and Damascus in Syria, hiking the K2 base camp in Pakistan, or trekking alone through Mongolia.

Eva aims to tell the stories of those people, communities, and cultures that you don’t normally see or have access to. She encourages people to push themselves out of their comfort zones.

A truly inspiring solo female traveller and one of my personal favourites.

I Am Aileen

Aileen Adalid is a travel vlogger from the Philippines. She did what many of us dream of doing: she quit her corporate job at 21 to travel the world.

Aileen shows her viewers how to travel the world as a digital nomad, inspiring her community of travel dreamers to do the same.

On her channel, I Am Aileen , you’ll find beautiful travel videos which are packed full of tips and tricks. I love that she also shows you how to live a sustainable travel lifestyle.

Jennelle Eliana

Known as the woman who lives in a van with her pet snake, Jennelle Eliana’s YouTube channel exploded within a matter of weeks. Her travel vlog has a light-hearted feel with a strong focus on sustainability.

All her videos are shot and edited on her iPhone. I think hte lower production values of her videos provide a more authentic portrayal of van life.

She addresses the less glamorous sides of travel and I love that it doesn’t feel as curated or manufactured.

Oneika the Traveller

A thrill-seeker and travel junkie, Oneika Raymond is dedicated to inspiring people of colour to travel the world and live outside of their comfort zone. She inspires through education and engaging storytelling.

Oneika is not just a successful travel vlogger. She is also an award-winning writer, journalist, and keynote speaker – having spoken at the Women in Travel Summit and Women’s Travel Fest. 

Pocket Wanderings

Okay this is a shameless self-promotion but it would be remiss of me not to include my own YouTube channel in this list!

I’m still relatively new to travel blogging but I’m hoping to grow my YouTube community moving forwards. On my channel you’ll find solo travel tips, luxury travel inspiration and hotel reviews.

Family travel vloggers

The bucket list family.

The Gee family started out when they sold everything and left home to travel around the world to become Family Travel Journalists.

The Bucket List Family travel vlog documents their many adventures and travels across the world.

They describe themselves as “just your ‘average’ family”, playing on the fact that most people wouldn’t consider their adventure-fuelled family life to be ‘average’ at all.

I’m sure that the Gee family will certainly make you question whether settling down is the best way to approach family life!

Hopscotch the Globe

Hopscotch the Globe is run by travel couple, Kristen and Siya. Until recently, they would have fallen into the travel couple section – but now they have a daughter and a dog, they are fully fledged family adventurers.

Their aim is to inspire couples and families to travel more. The couple share travel tips, destination guides, food adventures, and tiny home living on their channel.

I find their videos to be funny, entertaining, and genuinely helpful.

Wolter’s World

The Wolter’s World channel is a great destination for honest travel advice. It comprises a family of four who have lived, studied, worked, and travelled across the world.

Wolter addresses the best and the worst parts of travelling to help his viewers be better prepared.

In sharing honest perspectives, Wolter provides helpful insights into the culture and people of the places he visits.

He has a preference for showing this more realistic side of travel – rather than fancy drone shots and backflips of cliffs. There are new videos every Wednesday and Saturday.

The Makepeace family consists of Caz, Craig, Kalyra, and Savannah. They are on a mission to prove that travel does not have to stop after children.

They have travelled the world nomadically since 1997, so trust me when I say that these guys really know what they’re talking about.

Having travelled solo, as a couple, as expats, as digital nomads, in an RV, and as a family, they bring multiple viewpoints to the travel experience.

Their videos help fellow travel lovers unplug from the chaos, travel more, and create better memories – all with kids in tow.

British travel vloggers

Fun for louis.

Louis Cole is a popular British travel vlogger, recognised by his signature dreadlocks.

He’s also partial to a backflip in wonderful and remote locations. The Fun For Louis channel brings upbeat and charismatic video content.

Louis is a non-stop adventurer, creating daily vlogs – so there is a lot of content to get stuck into. You’ll find a whole variety of creative content and fun adventures on Louis’ travel vlog.

It’s exciting, entertaining, and engaging.

Mr Ben Brown

A talented photographer and filmmaker, Ben Brown documents his travels to far-flung destinations. As a result of his engaging content, Ben has achieved wide acclaim for his YouTube content.

Ben is also a professional athlete, as a two-time world champion kayaker. He is energetic and optimistic, which I think shines through his travel content.

Psycho Traveller

Birmingham-born Aly is a digital nomad who has built an online community of fellow travel lovers. The ‘psycho part’ of Psycho Traveller comes from the fact that Aly is a Psychology graduate. 

I love that Aly provides raw, honest commentary in her content, as well as helpful tips and tricks. She aims to inspire everyone – of all ages and backgrounds – to live the life they want to live.

She is also a best-selling author and public speaker.

Couple travel vloggers

The planet d.

An endearing adventure couple, Dave and Deb live by the motto ‘adventure is for everyone’. They are a refreshing change from the ‘perfect’ travel couples you see plastered all over Instagram.

The aim of Planet D is to inspire everyone to seek adventure – you don’t have to be young, fit and rich to travel. 

Their videos provide valuable information and unique experiences for anyone looking to live a more adventure-fuelled life.

Sailing La Vagabonde

Sailing La Vagabonde is run by Australian couple Riley Whitelum and Elayna Carausu. It all started with a dream of circumnavigating the globe by sailboat – with no previous sailing experience!

Riley and Elayna share video content around their seafaring experiences, including useful information for those looking to start sailing.

They inspire others to live an alternative lifestyle and also hope to raise ocean awareness. Now they have a baby in tow, so there’s a new and exciting dimension to their travels!

Kara and Nate

Kara and Nate are high school sweethearts who have been travelling the world full-time for five years. They started with a goal of travelling to 100 countries – which they have since achieved and surpassed!

The travel couple embark on all kinds of adventures – from hiking Everest Base Camp to taking the Trans-Siberian Railway.

You can also find a number of resources on travel hacking, YouTube, and entrepreneurship on their blog.

The Endless Adventure

Eric and Allison embody the classic story of leaving steady jobs to pursue a life of travel as digital nomads.

Their YouTube channel, The Endless Adventure , offers a tantalising combination of travel, food, and adventure – all of the best things in life!

I think this is a great channel for travel foodies, as they share some of the most mouth-watering food from around the world.

I have no doubt that Eric and Allison will inspire you to hit the road and pursue a life of adventure.

Flying the Nest

Stephen & Jess are an Australian couple with a passion for adventure. You’ll find a range of travel content on Flying the Nest , from daily life and food discoveries to volunteering and worldly travels.

The couple share a diverse range of travel experiences, from hiking Machu Picchu to overwater bungalows in the Maldives.

Their videos offer a unique historical insight and engaging video content. Plus, they now have a new baby to join their adventures.

I couldn’t possibly fit all of the amazing travel vloggers out there into this list. But these are some of my personal favourites and a great place to start if you’re feeling overwhelmed with all the travel content on YouTube.

As mentioned above, I do have my own YouTube channel ? It’s only in the early stages I’m already in the process of expanding it and any new subscribers honestly means the world.

That said, not every travel YouTube channel is created equal. Some travel creators’ range is wider than others. Their focus varies, too: Some specialize in backpacking around the planet, while others live the van life dream, driving across the US.

Wolter's World

Heading the list is Wolter’s World , a comprehensive travel channel with practical advice and insights based on personal experience. With 1 million subs and over 2.3 K videos, it’s also one of the biggest travel YouTube channels out there. For good reason. 

Wolter is, first and foremost, honest . While he shows you just how amazing traveling can be, he also gives you an unvarnished heads-up about the worst parts of it as well. This is great to help you prepare properly and enjoy your trip nevertheless. 

Wolter’s World has insightful advice for anything from navigating trains in Finland to avoiding tourist traps in Uruguay. Helpfully, Wolter also goes into the different cultures he’s experienced and how tourists can manage to avoid local annoyances in different places.

The Endless Adventure

Next up in our list of the best Travel YouTube channels is The Endless Adventure . On here, Eric and Allison let viewers share their journey of leaving their 9-to-5 jobs behind to head off on a life of adventure as digital nomads. 

For the past seven years, their channel has been a reliable source of content on exploring foreign cuisines , enjoying breathtaking views, and discovering fun stories of travel adventures and misadventures . 

Eric and Allison post regularly, with new travel videos going online every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. 

Eric and Allison’s digital nomad life can get very exciting.

Kara and Nate

Another excellent travel YouTube channel is Kate and Nate , with 3.6 million subs and well over 900 videos. 

This couple from Nashville, TN, launched their channel back in 2016, when they both took a year off to travel. One year turned into four – and in 2019, they hit their goal of travelling through 100 countries all over the world. 

During the pandemic, with international travel no longer on the table, they spent two years traveling around the US in a van . In early 2022, they once more packed their suitcases and returned to globe-trotting full-time. 

One stand-out feature of Kara and Nate is that they explore all the different facets of   traveling on any kind of budget – whether it’s slumming it in a truck in the Australian outback, or boarding a $28,000 luxury train in India.

Eva zu Beck

Are you a woman looking to travel solo? Then Eva zu Beck is the channel for you. 

For five years, Eva has been exploring the world solo. Notably, she’s a raw adventurer , travelling to little-known places from Pakistan and Oman to Tanzania and Antarctica. She usually gets around in her converted 4×4 and with her faithful dog as a companion. 

Also, Eva is originally from Europe, so her videos also provide fascinating outside looks at life in America .

Karl Watson: Travel Documentaries

Rounding out our list of the best YouTube travel channels is Karl Watson . While his channel can’t boast as many subscribers as others on this list, with 273 K subscribers and 124 videos, it stands out through its long-form content. 

Karl is a professional video editor who creates full-length YouTube travel documentaries . His videos combine escapism, entertainment, and fascinating insights into local cultures and ecosystems around the world. Join him on captivating trips to Thailand and Turkey, Iceland and Italy. 

Karl Watson brings you travel impressions with tremendous production value.

If you‘re looking for actionable travel advice and honest insights, Wolter’s World is the best travel channels out there. 

The most-subscribed travel YouTuber is Drew Binski, with around 4 million fans.

Rick Steves might be a bit bookish but that’s one of the things we love about him. The man knows Europe—and the continent’s history—like the back of his hand, and his love for the region is clear. Whether you already love the countries and cities he visits, too, or are dreaming of the day you finally make it there, don’t be surprised if you find yourself geeking out right along with him. Most of us have hiked, backpacked, or at the very least, driven through one of the United States’ national parks. He’s got a little bit of an Indiana Jones vibe going on, and actually does get himself in some hairy situations while tackling challenges like searching for Amelia Earhart’s remains in Fiji—but without the Nazis breathing down his neck or giant boulders barreling his way. 10. The Moaning of Life

After “An Idiot Abroad” concluded and comedian Karl Pilkington turned 40, he had some big life questions, as one does. “The Moaning of Life” documents Pilkington’s mid-life crisis as he travels around the world to see how other cultures tackle big topics like marriage, having children (they’re not for him), the secret to happiness, and even death. 11. Planet Earth

The BBC put some serious funding into the production of “Planet Earth” and it has paid off. The series has been awarded four Emmys and a Peabody Award from the Royal Television Society for its breathtaking episodes featuring a different biome or habitat each time. From the Arctic and Antarctica to the depths of the oceans, if this doesn’t inspire you to see more of our planet, nothing will. Available on: YouTube, Amazon

12. Long Way Round

Watch actors Ewan McGregor and Charley Boorman hop on their BMW R1150GS Adventure motorcycles (hey, some people are interested in those kinds of details) and cruise from London to New York. They take an eastern route through Europe, Asia, and Alaska, then down to the contiguous US, usually off-road. The two have an obvious shared passion for riding, which is a definite requirement if you plan to sit on a bike seat for 19,000 miles! Available on: Amazon

13. Long Way Down

A sequel to their 2004 adventure, Long Way Down follows Ewan McGregor and Charley Boorman again as they ride their trusty motorcycles from Scotland through Europe and down Africa to Cape Town, South Africa. 14. Epic Drives

There’s a reason that there are nine (!) movies in the Fast & Furious franchise—people love watching drivers push their cars to the limit. "Top Gear" is part review, part road trip, and all adrenaline, and the celebrity guest drivers and absurd challenges add to the fun. 16. The Grand Tour

Filled with bits of uniquely quirky (and questionable) advice like “looking good is more important than looking where you’re going,” "The Grand Tour" finds Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond, and James May (of “Top Gear” fame) driving unique automobiles in interesting places. The friends drive everything from an Aston Martin in South Africa to the Fiat Panda 4x4 in Colombia to beach buggies in Namibia. They talk, they eat, they race. Available on: Amazon

17. Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations

“No Reservations” combines two of the best things about traveling: food and adventure. Throw in Anthony Bourdain and you’ve got a truly entertaining TV show. 18. Anthony Bourdain's Parts Unknown

19. Gordon Ramsay's Uncharted

Chef Gordon Ramsay is probably best known for his strong personality on his reality TV shows, like “Hell’s Kitchen,” but in “Uncharted,” we see a more humble side of the Brit. He frequently finds himself thrown out of his comfort zone while learning about the cuisine or traditional cooking methods from a local and is then thrown into the fire by attempting to make a dish for the community himself. 20. Gordon's Great Escape

Imagine Gordon Ramsay in a white tank top, admitting that he has no idea what he’s doing and traveling around India (often on motorbike) to become versed on what “real” curry is like compared to the dish he loves in the UK. The show embodies the sights and sounds of India and Ramsay even experiences “travel sickness,” just like the rest of us. The last four episodes take place in Southeast Asia and Ramsay continues his role as the student, which isn’t a position we’re used to seeing him in. Available on: Amazon, Disney+

21. Ugly Delicious

Each episode revolves around a type of food and then James Beard Award-winning chef David Chang travels to different countries to explore how those places interpret it or make it. With close-up shots of the food as it’s being made, cooked, and consumed, you can almost smell the warm pizza crust and feel the heat of the hot chicken in your mouth. Available on: Netflix

22. Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

If you like “Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee,” you’ll love "Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner." David Chang travels the world to meet up with funny, food-loving celebrities like Seth Rogen and Chrissy Teigen as they embark on culinary adventures in various cities around the world. Available on: Netflix

Street food is almost like a culture within a culture. Wherever you go, travelers can count on carts to have the most authentic food—and people—you’ll ever find. 25. Three Sheets

Comedian Zane Lamprey is living the dream—traveling the world to meet new people and drink alcohol with them. It’s essentially an international pub crawl, including the day-after hangover cures. Available on: Amazon 

26. I’ll Have What Phil’s Having

Phil Rosenthal is hilarious (he did create “Everybody Loves Raymond”) but in a very wholesome way. He had an admittedly bland diet as a child, so Rosenthal wants to experience as much as he can as an adult—even if that means stepping into the unknown. His friendly demeanor and childlike innocence make you feel like you are just tagging along with an uncle and experiencing a place for the first time. Available on: YouTube, Amazon 

27. Somebody Feed Phil

In “Somebody Feed Phil,” Rosenthal actually brings his friends and family along as he visits cities ranging from Tel Aviv to New Orleans. Phil’s excitement is contagious as he tastes the best pizza, egg cream—and even hot dog—of his life. Available on: Netflix

28. BuzzFeed's Worth It

BuzzFeed knows how to tap into popular culture, and “Worth It” offers a unique spin on your typical food review. Instead of just eating a meal somewhere and talking about it, hosts Steven Lim and Andrew Ilnyckyj eat three different dishes at three different price points (affordable, mid, luxury) and then decide if it’s worth it to spend more money. The guys bring an everyman attitude to the whole show, so they rarely pick the most expensive option. Available on: Hulu, BuzzFeed’s website

29. Booze Traveler

Host Jack Maxwell is the real deal. At a young age, he made money by shining shoes in local pubs and gin mills (seriously) and then became a bartender in South Boston. He found that you can learn a lot about a person when you take the time to sit down for a couple of drinks, so naturally, he hit the road to learn about what people are drinking and why they drink it. 30. Chef's Table

Many cooking shows give you a look into the chef’s personality, but sometimes you want to go a little deeper, learn a little bit more. Enter Emmy-nominated series “Chef’s Table.” Each season dives into the lives and personal stories of six chefs, discussing their discipline and culinary talent while they prepare a dish. It’s the best of both worlds and a must watch for serious foodies. Available on: Netflix

31. Jack Whitehall: Travels with My Father

If you’ve ever traveled with a parent, you will be hard-pressed to find a more relatable show. Comedian Jack Whitehall and his father, Michael, hit the road together to “strengthen their bond.” Dad is definitely out of his element in this one, as Jack wants to be in the thick of everything, while Michael would definitely prefer a bit more familiarity. 32. The Amazing Race

Featuring 11 teams of two that race around the world to make it to the final leg and take home the $1 million prize, contestants on “The Amazing Race” face everything from grueling heat to freezing temperatures, while having to complete physical and mental challenges on a limited budget. There are many reasons why this show is so popular, but perhaps the biggest is the relationships between the partners. Just traveling with another person on vacation can be stressful enough, but the competition adds another layer of complexity to the relationship as they try to navigate through completely foreign cities and countries. 33. Survivorman

Canadian survival expert Les Stroud strands himself in the remote wilderness for 7-10 days with only his clothes, a one-man camera rig, his harmonica, a multi-tool, and often, items relevant to his survival situation or location. While it may not make you want to go off on your own in the middle of nowhere for days on end, it might motivate you to spend a little more time in nature in a place you hadn’t thought of before. 34. An Idiot Abroad

Poor Karl Pilkington is constantly pranked by British comics Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant in “An Idiot Abroad.” To be fair, it’s probably not possible for Pilkington to be that clueless, but he plays the part well and with quite a bit of humor as he’s repeatedly surprised and confused about the cultural customs of people around the world. 35. Restaurants on the Edge

Love a good makeover show? Check out “Restaurants on the Edge,” a show in which three food and design experts revive restaurants that are on the edge of failing by re-connecting them with the local culture and food. The newly improved eateries offer a redesigned decor and unique menu, but the views throughout the show—filmed at restaurants in places like Malta, St. Lucia, and Hong Kong—give you a real idea of what the locale looks like. 36. Extreme Engagement

It’s your typical love story: man and woman meet, fall madly in love, get engaged, and then spend two years apart while man is filming another TV show. Okay, so that last part is not so typical, but when PJ Madam and Tim Noonan came back together, they decided to spend every waking second together and travel the world for an entire year to see if their relationship could cut it. The show takes place in a fictional small Japanese bar called Meshiya in Tokyo that is open from midnight to 7 a.m. While the menu technically only offers four things—sake, beer, shōchū, and tonjiru, a pork soup — the chef (known only as the Master) will create any dish that a customer may want using the ingredients that he has on-hand that night. The camera follows that night’s patrons out of the bar and into their lives to continue their stories, but still manages to capture the true feeling of the show—that food is about coming together but life is boring without a little joy every now and then. Regularly ranked as one of the most popular TV shows of all-time in the US, “Lost” is about the survivors of a commercial jet airliner that crashed on a mysterious island in the South Pacific Ocean en route from Sydney to Los Angeles. 42. Outlander

With elements of romance, history, and science fiction, “Outlander” is filled with sweeping landscapes, historic castles, and elegant gardens. Filmed mostly in the Scottish Highlands, but also in Prague (to capture the spirit of 18th-century France in Season 2) and Cape Town, South Africa, you can visit many of the sites where Clare Randall lived her double lives. Though it’s been gaining in popularity as a tourist destination in the past few years, Iceland is still a country that feels quite wild and remote. “Trapped” captures that feeling in this crime drama taking place in as isolated Icelandic town, where the chief of police tries to solve the murder of a former townsperson after his mutilated corpse is found by fishermen. 46. The Kettering Incident

The Australian drama is based on the mysterious disappearance of two young girls, but the dark and enchanting landscapes are a central part of the show. A Sesame Street –style kids’ TV show for the budding chef, Waffles and Mochi follows the eponymous puppets—one a sweet little monster with waffles for ears, the other a sentient pink rice ball—around the world as they seek out fresh global ingredients and learn about healthy eating and cooking.

This show will appeal to adults as much as to toddlers. To start: Michelle Obama costars (this is part of the Obamas’ production deal with Netflix) as a grocery store owner who teaches Waffles and Mochi about the wide world beyond the Land of Frozen Food. Off on fabulous journeys they go—to Japan, Peru, Italy, where they have friendly encounters with famous chefs like Samin Nosrat and José Andrés, as well as special guests Rashida Jones, Queer Eye ’s Tan France, Zach Galifianakis, Sia, Common, and more (technically, Mandy Moore). Stanley Tucci: Searching for Italy

Actor Stanley Tucci kept spirits afloat with his cocktail and cooking demos on Instagram during lockdown. When travel restrictions lifted in Europe last year, Tucci traveled to Italy—where he has deep roots—to film this six-episode series exploring food and culture through Italy’s people, cities, and regions: Sicily, Tuscany, Milan, Bologna, Rome, and Naples and the Amalfi Coast.

For those desperately missing Italy, Tucci is the perfect knowledgeable yet curious tour guide, introducing his friends—winemakers, chefs, and authors—who he pokes a little fun at, and taking you on tours, such as around Florence’s Renaissance-era wine windows, aka “little doors of paradise.”

Who is Lupin? He’s a gentleman thief, a master of disguise, a sort of French superhero at the heart of Maurice Leblanc’s short stories, “Arsène Lupin, Gentleman Burglar.” These early 20th-century Sherlockian tales inspire the new Netflix show, Lupin , starring Omar Sy ( The Intouchables ) as a Senegalese immigrant in today’s Paris who follows Arsène’s escapades as a road map for revenge.

In the pilot episode Sy’s Arsène struts through the Louvre disguised as a janitor, plotting a jewelry heist like a cohort of Danny Ocean. Lupin is also full of lust-worthy shots of the city: a room with a view of Sacré-Cœur; the Eiffel Tower from every angle; the Jardin du Luxembourg in the rain; a bustling café. A heist thriller is only as good as its setting, and Lupin —and Paris—deliver. —L.D.R.

Men in Kilts: A Roadtrip with Sam and Graham

If the popular period drama Outlander didn’t already have you craving a trip to Scotland, this travel show starring Sam Heughan (Jamie Fraser in Outlander ) and Graham McTavish ( Outlander’s Dougal Mackenzie) will seal the deal. Even if you’re not an Outlander devotee, this Scottish duo, who are constantly making jabs at each other and themselves, are ideal guides for this literal campervan road trip through Scotland. Their banter is on point (you can tell they’re good pals IRL), and they transport viewers into the heart and soul of the country without taking themselves too seriously.

Each episode focuses on a different aspect of Scottish culture and history. For the food and drink episode, Heughan and McTavish visit one of Scotland’s oldest whisky distilleries and introduce viewers to Scottish seafood. For the sports episode, they try their hand at archaic Highland Games (aka throwing a massive hammer) and playing golf on Scotland’s most hallowed turf. And for the song and dance episode, viewers learn more about bagpipes and traditional Scottish dancing—Heughan and McTavish are game guinea pigs while also offering insights and knowledge into the theme at hand.

I’m not always big on traditional “travel shows,” but I absolutely love this one and am ready to book my first trip to Scotland ASAP after watching. — Michelle Baran

West London’s Richmond upon Thames, with its distinctly British cobblestone shopping alleys, parks, and lively pubs, is the backdrop to the story of very American Ted Lasso, played by Jason Sudeikis.

Lasso is an American football coach hired to reboot a Premier League British football team, AFC Richmond. An eternal optimist, Ted is someone you wish you knew—warm and funny, with leadership skills that win over nearly everyone he meets in this fish-out-of-water story.

The Apple TV show isn’t really about sports, though there are plenty of soaring, heart-pumping soccer—football!—scenes. There are love triangles and mishaps, a delightful cast of characters, and the realization that you can do the impossible if you just “Believe,” Ted’s motto. The show has already been renewed for two more seasons. —A.F.

The head of government rides her bike to work: two clues this series isn’t set in the United States. In Copenhagen, everyone rides a bike. Maybe “Danish political drama” doesn’t sound compelling but this is, with a standout cast of well-developed characters. It follows the path of politician Birgitte Nyborg and how demands of her rise to power clash with her family life. Concerns about media news coverage are among the issues making this drama universal. The show, with an 8.5 IMDb rating, originally aired 2010–2013; Netflix plans a fourth season for 2022. — Pat Tompkins

If you’re one of the few who haven’t seen Bridgerton yet (apparently, it’s Netflix’s most successful series ever ), and you miss the U.K., it’s time to settle into Shonda Rhimes’s soapy, steamy Regency-era drama that reimagines the time as one when equality reigns: Black and white people coexist as equals, and the Queen is Black.

It centers on the romance between debutante Daphne Bridgerton and Simon Basset, reluctant Duke of Hastings. Scenic British locations include the Bridgerton family home, Ranger’s House in Greenwich, London; promenades in Bath’s green parks and Royal Crescent; and parties at Wilton House in Salisbury as the Duke’s country mansion. — A.F.

Four Weddings and a Funeral

This 10-episode series from Mindy Kaling is nothing like the movie it takes its name from, except that there are four weddings and one funeral. London has never looked more magical as friends in their thirties fall in love, break up, and get married across rooftop parties in Trafalgar Square, conversations at the National Gallery and inside dreamy Notting Hill houses, and walks in Kew Gardens.

Like its cast, but unlike so many romantic comedies, it also showcases the diversity of the city through Indian family culture in Hounslow and the multicultural Southall Market. It’s completely addictive, and you might replay the final 10 minutes of the series (a wedding, of course!) over and over again. — A.F.

But the festive season is just a vehicle for showcasing the complicated bonds of family. Call My Agent

Calling all francophiles. For those missing not just France but the language and people as well, this French-language Netflix show is génial . Call My Agent is a witty comedy about a Paris-based talent agency. The central cast of characters brings viewers along as they manage the many moods and demands of their high-maintenance actor clients. (They do everything from intervene when clients refuse to get intimate on a film set to help a client learn to drive for a movie role, plus attend ridiculous soirées to appease these high-strung celebs.)

As the series continues, deeper emotional themes around family, friendship, and love develop. I found myself tearing up (in a good way) by the end of the first season, something I wasn’t expecting at all at the start. The comic relief serves as a wonderful escape and there’s something oddly satisfying about seeing behind the scenes of France’s acting and filming world even if it is a fictional look. — M.B.

Indian Matchmaking

This is a reality show, with all its tropes and gimmicks, inviting us to be voyeurs of the Indian dating world. But Indian Matchmaking is also a fascinating glimpse into the culture of matchmaking and quasi-arranged marriages, for both the singles and families. It follows Mumbai-based matchmaker Sima Taparia as she tries to pair clients both in the U.S. and India; the scenes in India are most vibrant and really make the show worth a watch even if you’re skeptical about the premise.

You feel like you’re sitting right next to the characters in that Mumbai restaurant or Delhi bar as they chat with friends or go out on that first (slightly awkward) date with their match. — M.B.

If your family is driving you up the wall, imagine self-quarantining with Succession ’s Roy family. This addictive dramedy centers on who will take over a global media and hospitality empire as the family patriarch faces health issues. 50. Nomad with Carlton McCoy

Classically trained chef and expert sommelier Carlton McCoy seeks out the best in international cuisine, music, and art in the CNN series "Nomad with Carlton McCoy." Premiering in May 2022, McCoy travels everywhere in the travel series, from the overlooked pleasures of Mississippi to the corners of Ghana. For McCoy, the show's focus lies in adventures and delights found away from the well-worn paths frequented by tourists. Instead, he enjoys savoring hometown favorites from local populations. What McCoy may lack in experience and poise, he and "Nomad" make up for with its premise to go behind the scenes of some of the world's most recognizable locales.

The world is a beautiful place, and it's easy to showcase such on film. The series puts a highly informative spin on the genre by taking viewers on whirlwind journeys worldwide in search of health secrets. We're not talking about avocado toast or juice cleanses, either.

Efron and wellness expert Darin Olien visit destinations to learn about topics like renewable energy, superfoods, and water quality. Have you ever heard of a water sommelier? The experts know a thing or two about what kind of water makes our bodies happy, and a "Down to Earth" episode in France consults one of the few professionals in existence. The series also has episodes on a seed bank stocked for the end of the world, Iceland's Blue Lagoon, and the Amazon rainforest.

Although "Down to Earth" earned Zac Efron a Daytime Emmy, lack of viewership caused the series to be canceled quickly. It had one season at Netflix and was picked up for another at The CW, only to be on the chopping block two episodes later. Lack of quantity does not mean lack of quality, though, and the "High School Musical" star's travel show is a solid viewing.

This includes food, accommodations, and gasoline. You'll be pleasantly surprised how far one can get in the world just by simply asking — though, he does sleep in his motorbike's sidecar when necessary. While the destinations range from all over the United States to Europe, Cambodia, and Vietnam, this feel-good travel doc is more about the people we meet along the way. Even though "The Kindness Diaries" only has two seasons behind it, the beautiful souls depicted stay with viewers for the long haul.

Of course, this examination goes beyond a mere history lesson, with Zamprey partaking in the beverages, usually in impressive quantities. Travel YouTube Channel Ideas

1. airport vlog.

What’s the difference between an airport vlog and a travel vlog? An airport vlog is more focused on getting to a destination than the destination itself. 

For example, if you’re taking a 15 hour flight or have a 24 hour travel day you can vlog about your experience and how you survive such a long travel day. You can also talk about flying with a specific airline, what the food on the plane was like, and how the different airports were. 

This is also a good time to throw in a little airport ootd or what’s in my carry on. 

2. Pack With Me

Pack with mes are another popular video idea for travel youtube channels. Whether you’re packing for a cruise, Disneyland, or a tropical getaway, a pack with me video is a great way to share packing tips with your audience. 

You can share things like what toiletries you’re bringing, how you keep things organized, what outfits you’re bringing, etc. You can also include affiliate links in your video description to help generate some income. I use RewardStyle for style and Amazon products.

If you’re starting a travel youtube channel, chances are you’ve already planned on doing travel vlogs. Depending on the trip, I will either break my travel vlogs down by destination or by day. For example, for my 10 day trip to Spain and Portugal , I did a vlog for each city we visited. However, for Disneyland I did two vlogs, one per day we were there.

Very few people will sit around and watch a 40 minute travel vlog. So, I like to break down the content into more digestible segments.

Sharing Amazon Travel Must-Haves or general travel essentials is another popular video idea for travel YouTube channels.

Pronouncing anything the “Best of”—whether it’s an automobile, a wine, or a stereo system—is as much about personal taste as it is about price and specifications. In the spirit of our inaugural 2023 Audio Awards, the Robb Report editors have compiled this group of recommended components based on the high value, quality, and performance each delivers compared to the very best and most costly available. While lunatic-fringe audiophiles (and that includes some from these ranks) regularly audition so-called state-of-the-art gear, we take particular pleasure in recommending those components whose performance far outdistances their price tags. While you won’t see any $800,000 loudspeakers or $500,000 turntables here, we guarantee that all the components listed will acquit themselves admirably when performing the task for which each was designed, even against the “big guns.” While some brands are household names, we have also been quick to share special products whose footprint has never been seen in a big box store. Especially worth seeking out, think of these as a “secret handshake” between audiophile friends.

Best Floor-Standing Loudspeakers: Sonus faber Stradivari G2

The Stradivari Second Generation evolved from the original Stradivari, launched in the early 2000s, and features a wide front baffle, which is partially responsible for this speaker’s organic, natural, and full-bodied sound. A pair of 10-inch woofers go down to 25 Hz, while the six-inch, Neodymium magnet midrange driver handles the lion’s share of the sound for which the Italian manufacturer is famous. From 160 Hz to 2,200 Hz, this driver is the speaker’s heart and soul, aided in its role by a one-inch soft-dome tweeter. Though relatively sensitive at 92 dB, a high-current amplifier with at least 100 watts will go a long way toward making the Stradivari G2s sing. Best Loudspeakers for Design Obsessives: Songer Audio S1

A tour de force of technology, craftsmanship, and unbelievably lifelike sound, this 47-inch-tall tower is a dream come true for lovers of low-power tube amps. Amazingly, it uses only one driver, mounted at ear-level in a 120-pound bass-reflex enclosure constructed in a choice of hardwoods and embellished with polished brass details. There is a magic to the sound because of this speaker’s handmade, full-range transducer and the way that it reproduces music with the speed, transparency, and impact of a real performance. A time-aligned point-source, the response across the frequency spectrum is coherent in a way that no multi-driver system can be. Non-fatiguing and transparent, the sound can be compared to Quad 57 electrostatics, but with much greater weight and presence. For the music lover who wears “made to measure.” — RR

Best Stand-Mount Loudspeakers: Aretai Contra 100S

Winner of the prestigious Red Dot Design Award for product design in 2022, the smallest member of the Contra family combines sonic, aesthetic, and engineering principles that embody what designer Janis Irbe calls “the Northern Sound concept—the crisp and vital freshness of a winter morning surrounded by the generous and robust vastness of Nature.” However you characterize the sound of the Latvian-made loudspeaker, it comes with prodigious bass down to 30 Hz, thanks to a rear-firing six-inch woofer that complements its front-firing twin. The novel waveguide for the neodymium tweeter extends response to beyond 25 kHz but importantly replicates a deep, wide soundstage. These are serious speakers, with optional bi-wiring/bi-amping capability, and vacuum-tube lovers will appreciate the valve-friendly impedance and sensitivity of the Contra 100S. — RR

Best Bookshelf Loudspeakers: Graham Audio LS3/5A

When space is as precious as perfectionist sound, there are few if any loudspeakers more satisfying than the shoe-box-sized LS3/5A. The British Broadcasting Corporation’s original mini-monitor is a true audio icon and has remained in production since the first one was made in 1975 under license from the BBC. Since then, more than a dozen manufacturers have built the little giant slayer, and today, one top choice is Graham Audio’s Chartwell LS3/5A. Set up for nearfield listening on a desktop or bookshelf, the two-way design uses a five-inch Bextrene-cone midrange/woofer and a .75-inch mylar-dome tweeter. They don’t play at ear-bleeding levels and don’t go much below 70 Hz, but for tonal accuracy and their ability to sound like real voices and music, this classic product should be a part of every audiophile’s life experience. — RR

Best Bang-for-the-Buck Loudspeakers: JBL L100 Classic

The JBL L100 came on the scene in 1970. Those of us old enough may remember the Memorex print ad showing a guy in a Le Corbusier chair with his hair blown back by a single L100, implying that Memorex tape created a simulacrum of a real performance. While the Quadrex foam-grilled icon blasting the longhair is probably junk today, it’s possible to buy a vastly improved (but identical-looking) version of JBL’s enduring icon more than half a century later. The L100 Classic’s all-new 12-inch woofer, 5.25-inch midrange, and 1-inch titanium-dome tweeter improve on every aspect of the original’s sound, yet express the same youthful exuberance that pumped Stones, Hendrix, and Cream into smoke-filled dorms way back when. Buy a pair and go back in time. — RR

Best Wi-Fi Loudspeakers: KEF LS60 Wireless

Still the choice for those seeking exceptional sound and clean design, the KEF LS60, a floor-standing loudspeaker with about the narrowest form factor imaginable, has everything including the streamer built into it. Digital and analog sources can be plugged into the back panel of the master speaker, allowing this full-featured system to serve up superior sound, thanks largely to the Uni-Q front driver that delivers an incredibly coherent “point-source,” yet evenly one dispersed throughout the room. Impressive bass response comes from four 5.25-inch woofers in each enclosure, and 1,400 watts of Class D amplification shared between both speakers. Architectural colors for cabinets and drivers make these the perfect choice for midcentury design-types. — RR

Best Portable Wi-Fi Loudspeaker: Bang & Olufsen Beosound Level

Life is too short to bring bad design into one’s home. Thankfully, there is an antidote, and it sounds fantastic. Bang & Olufsen’s Beosound Level offers an immense portable soundscape and versatility to match. Only slightly larger than a legal pad and about two inches in depth, this Bluetooth-enabled Wi-Fi speaker streams music with rich, room-filling sound. Battery operated, the Level stands up, lays flat, or hangs on a wall. It can be carried from room to room, and, because it’s dust and splash-resistant, can even take its talents outdoors. Whether it’s the primary system for a smaller space or a musical sidekick for leisure listening, this is a sonic and aesthetic overachiever in the world of wireless speakers. We named it “Best Portable” last year and still, nothing does it better than the Beosound Level. — RR

Best Portable Digital Audio Player: Astell&Kern A&ultima SP3000T

Astell&Kern’s digital audio players (DAP) are pocket-sized devices capable of storing and playing high-resolution music or media files. The A&ultima series of flagship players reproduce the ultimate high-res sound for use with headphones or in-ear earphones, like the company’s $4,999 Novus. The just-released SP3000T is based on the acclaimed SP3000 but adds the warmth and delicacy of tube amplification with A&K’s Triple Amp System, which allows users to customize their sound profile using tube amplification, a digital op-amp, or a hybrid combination of both tube and op-amps. The integration of dual Raytheon mil-spec vintage vacuum tubes creates an authentic analog sound, while the screen can display digital VU meters for added nostalgia to the musical journey. All three modes are available when using the 2.5 mm, 3.5 mm or 4.4 mm outputs.

Best Wireless Headphones: Sony WH-1000XM5

The Sony name may lack the glamour of some of the other brands on this list, but the Japanese electronics giant have repeatedly put out some of the best overall headphones you can buy over the last few decade. Of those, our pick is the current flagship over-ear model, the WH-1000XM5. They’re lightweight, comfortable, and much sleeker than the majority of their peers. They also offer active noise cancellation that it is a very clear step up from their predecessor, the also-excellent WH-1000XM4. Their best feature, though, is their audio quality. From the moment you turn them on, these cans sound superb, whether you’re a fan of classical, pop, or house. Even if their sound profile is a little bass-heavy for you, Sony’s easy-to-use app has an equalizer that’ll allow you to tweak settings to your heart’s content. The WH1000XM5 also offer excellent call quality and a useful voice-activated awareness mode—which pauses music and turns on the exterior microphones when someone is speaking to you—making them well suited to both work and play. — Bryan Hood

Best Wired Headphones: Focal Clear MG

It’s easy to be skeptical of some of the claims that audiophiles make. With budget and mid-priced headphones sounding as good as they do these days, is premium audio really worth the significant jump in cost? Just take a listen to your favorite album on Focal’s Clear MG and you’ll understand why sound snobs are so adamant about the difference between their gear and everything else. The French brand’s over-ears sound so pristine that you’ll understand what all the fuss is about within a song or two. Sure, they cost significantly more than some of the other cans on this list, but you won’t care one bit once you start noticing new details in a record you’ve already devoured dozens of times before. There aren’t many headphones that will give you the sense that you’re listening to an artist perform live every time you press play—but the Clear MG will. — BH

Best Headphones for Audiophiles: Meze Empyrean II

Because a $12,000 electrostatic headphone rig may not be every music lover’s cup of audiophile tea, we can be thankful for the new Meze Empyrean II. While hardly inexpensive, these Romanian-designed-and-built headphones are as satisfying to listen to as they are comfortable for long listening sessions. The aluminum housings are precision CNC-milled aluminum, with black metal grilles whose pattern of arched perforations recalls a fine Art Deco motif. The drivers, which use a planar diaphragm sandwiched between two perforated, fiberglass-infused pieces of lightweight ABS, are two reasons the sound of the Empyrean II is so natural, detailed, and impactful. The frequency response is, almost literally, off the charts, extending from a subterranean eight Hz and spiraling to a (literally) unheard of 110,000 Hz. Altogether, the Empyreans hit the headphone sweet spot and beg the question, “How much better can headphones get?” — RR

Best Designed Headphones: Apple AirPods Max

It’s no secret that the vast majority of headphones look pretty much the same. But not the AirPods Max. The over-ear version of Apple’s ubiquitous wireless earbuds has been one of the best-looking options on the market since its introduction earlier this decade. The stylish cans have the clean, streamlined look we’ve come to expect from the brand since the mid-aughts, with the added bonus of coming in a wide array of colors. The headphones’ smooth anodized aluminum cups don’t just look (and feel) good, they also that rotate independently of one another to keep pressure balances on your head, which is crucial since they are on the heavy side. Design and color options aren’t the only thing that separate the AirPod Max from the company’s earbuds—they also deliver excellent, well-balance audio performance regardless of what you’re listening to. Noise cancelling is fantastic, and their ease of use, especially if you already use other Apple products, just cannot be beat. — BH

Best Noise-Cancelling Headphones: Bose QuietComfort Ultra

Sometimes you just need to block out your surroundings. Whether you’re trying to focus on a particular task or just need some peace and quiet, it’s always a good idea to have a dependable pair of noise-cancelling headphones nearby. No company has proven itself more reliable on this front than Bose and its newest flagship over-ears, the QuietComfort Ultra, take things to a new level. These things can block out—or at least greatly quiet down—basically all environmental noise allow you’re likely to come across on a daily basis. You may still hear that jackhammer down the block, but it won’t be anywhere near as annoying. They also offer Bose’s typically solid audio performance and significantly better transparency than their predecessors, the Noise Cancelling Headphones 700. Add in a pleasing makeover and one of the best pairs of headphones just got better. — BH

Best Gaming Headphones: Razer BlackShark V2 Pro

Buying headphones for gaming is little different than buying them for basically any other activity. They need to sound good, of course—the last thing you want is to miss someone sneaking up behind you during a tense death match—but they also need to be lightweight and comfortable enough to accommodate marathon gaming sessions. That’s what we like so much about Razer’s BlackShark V2 Pro headphones: You’ll basically forget you’re wearing them. They also have a quality plug-in mic, so you can communicate with all the members of your team—or talk a little trash—without any noticeable lag. Just as important as all this, though, might be how normal they look. Gamer-focused gear has a tendency stand out a little too much, but not the BlackShark V2 Pros. In fact, with the exception of their serpentine logo and mic, they look just like any other pair of premium headphones. You might not even mind being spotted in them during your morning commute. — BH

Best Headphones for Travel: Bang & Olufsen Beoplay H95

You’ll want a pair of headphones that can do it all if you’re constantly on the go. The Bang & Olufsen Beoplay H95 falls firmly into this camp. The Danish audio experts’ top-of-the-line cans offer some of the best sound you’ll find at their price level. Custom titanium drivers produce audio that is rich, lively, and, most important of all, detailed. An array of exterior microphones and an active noise-cancellation chip make constant adjustments so you can actually hear what you’re listening to, even in noisier environments like a train car or airplane cabin. Both volume and noise cancellation levels can be adjusted via dials conveniently worked into each cup. They also have lambskin earpads, leather headband, and an aluminum frame available in a rainbow colors (chestnut brown might be our favorite) so you’re guaranteed to travel in style. — BH

Best Earbuds: Bose QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds

It’s amazing what a few key tweaks can do. The new Ultra QuietComfort Earbuds aren’t all that different than their immediate predecessors, the QuietComfort Earbuds II, but they offer better call quality and a new immersive audio mode. The two upgrades may not sound like much in isolation, but are actually game changers that fix two of the ‘buds most apparent flaws. Unsurprisingly, this year’s model continues to deliver the solid audio performance you expect from a Bose product. Purists tend not to love audio processing, but Immersive Sound adds life and depth to pop and electronic music. The earbuds’ biggest virtues, though, remain their fit and noise cancellation ability. A variety of comfortable tips and wings provides a seal that can be hard to get from other in-ear headphones. Noise cancellation, meanwhile, remains superlative whether you just need some quiet or want to better focus on the detail of your favorite sonata while riding the subway. — BH

Best Sounding Earbuds: Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless 4

It can be easy to forget these days, but most people buy headphones (whether in- or over-ear) to listen to music. And when it comes to earbuds, there aren’t any that sound than the Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless 4 right now. The German outfit’s latest feel like an evolutionary leap forward, finally delivering the warm and precise sound the brand is known for in a pair of earbuds. It doesn’t matter what kind of music you love, be it alt-country, bebop, neo-classical, grime, or house: Each recording sounds the way its producer intended it to, which is no mean feat. There’s more to these earbuds than superlative audio quality, though. They also feature feature a redesigned antennae that improve connection reliability—which was a significant issue of their predecessors—and call quality been given a boost. And when you’re more concerned with blocking sound out than listening to anything, their noise cancellation is solid. They’re also lightweight and comfortable, which is good news if you feel like listening to a particularly epic double album. — BH

Best Noise-Cancelling Earbuds: Sony WF-1000XM5

Sony’s latest flagship earbuds, the WF-1000XM5, offer the company’s best noise-cancelling performance. Even on a noisy subway you’ll be able to listen to your favorite song or podcast without trouble. But you won’t just hear them clearly: You’ll also be able to make out all the detail you would listening in a quiet room, whether it be the quaver in someone’s voice or the texture of a guitar solo. These in-ear headphones utilize a redesigned array of six microphones and two processors to take in and then block out the most distracting parts of the world around you. We were most impressed by how well they blocked out wind, something anyone who’s tried to take a call while walking can tell you that most earbuds struggle with. Part of the reason they’re so adept at blocking out unwanted noise is that they’re smaller than their predecessors, the WF-1000XM4, and come with foam ear tips, which makes it easier than ever before to get nice snug fit. Add in Sony’s typically excellent audio quality and you have yourself one of the better all-around pair of earbuds you can buy.— BH

Best Earbuds for Working Out: Bose Ultra Open Earbuds

Here’s the rare pair of earbuds (or headphones, if you want to broaden things) that feel like something completely new. Bose’s new Ultra Open Earbuds are like nothing we’ve tried before. Rather than fitting them into your ear canal like you do so many other earbuds, you simply clip these onto your earlobes. The ear-clinging design is unorthodox, but it works shockingly well. The small speaker on each bud projects music into your ear that you can still hear perfectly well while being aware of your surroundings (though it does mean you may have to turn the volume up in loud areas). This makes them particularly well-suited for working out in public, especially if you want to be aware of that car coming up behind you on your run. Don’t worry about the Ultra Open earbuds slipping off, either. The clip mechanism is as secure as it is comfortable, and you can wear these for hours without experiencing any discomfort. — BH

Best-Designed Earbuds: Beats Studio Buds +

Sometimes simplicity is the truest elegance. The latest version of Beat’s Studio Buds are easily the most streamlined earbuds currently on market. Unlike their corporate cousins, the Apple AirPods and AirPods Pro, these don’t have stems, and it’s actually hard to tell you’re even wearing in-ear headphones when you have them in. Even the case looks slick, especially if you opt for the transparent pair (which, if you ask us, you definitely should). State-of-the-art design isn’t all about looking good, though. These earbuds are extremely lightweight, so they’re comfortable to wear, even for long periods of time. Even the touch controls are intuitive, as is using them with any Apple device. Sound quality isn’t spectacular, but it’s better than solid whether you’re listening to music or making calls, which will do for most of us. — BH

Best Earbuds for Travel: Apple AirPods Pro (2nd Generation)

At first listen, it can be easy to wonder why Apple’s AirPods Pro are as ubiquitous as they are. The second iteration of the ultra-popular earbuds sounds good but by no means stellar. The same goes for their noise-cancelling technology and fit. What is singular about them, though, is an ease of use that no other headphone—except their bigger sibling the Airpods Max—can claim, especially if you’re already part of the Apple ecosystem (as many of us are). Simply pop the Airpods in and you’re connected to your iPhone. They don’t have multi-point, but even switching between devices is a breeze (just open up the Bluetooth menu and click). Traveling is stressful enough, so why not pack a pair of earbuds that you’ll be able to connect to any of the devices you’re bringing with you with as little fuss as possible? — BH

Best Earbuds for Sleep: Soundcore Sleep A10

The Soundcore Sleep A10 may look like earplugs, but they’re actually fully functional earbuds. They’re slimmer and lighter than any other in-ear headphones we’ve tried out, making them comfortable even for side-sleepers (something that anyone who’s fallen asleep wearing a pair of AirPods Pro can tell you is not always the case). The Sleep A10 feature wings so that they stay put, as well as Twin Seal ear tips that passively block noises that could wake you up—even if you sleep next to someone with a tendency to snore. They don’t have active noise canceling, but the Soundcore app comes packed with ambient soundscapes to help drown out nighttime disturbances. Our favorite feature, though, is that—unlike many of their peers—you can use these sleep earbuds to listen to your own music or podcasts via Bluetooth if that’s what you need to drift off. You can also use the app to track your sleep patterns. — BH

Sennheiser’s powerful virtualization technology allows the Ambeo Max soundbar to deliver room-filling audio without the need for extra surround speakers or a subwoofer. Sennheiser uses the included microphone to scan your room and calibrate output from its 13 side-, front-, and upward-firing speakers to create the best Dolby Atmos or DTS:X experience offered from a single unit. You get four HDMI (one eARC), optical, and RCA inputs, plus Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity that supports AirPlay 2, Chromecast, Spotify Connect, and Tidal Connect. The thick aluminum plinth achieves maximum rigidity, while the motor and power supply are mounted on a rigid bottom plate to isolate the tonearm and cartridge from transmitted vibration. A sophisticated tonearm developed jointly with SAEC, one of Japan’s most respected tonearm manufacturers, uses knife-edge bearings and features an effective arm length of 10 inches to further reduces cartridge tracking error. Park any new supercar next to its 50-year-old ancestor and chances are, the old-timer will command more attention than its contemporary counterpart. In the audio world, products such as the Thorens TD 124 DD are simply timeless, while delivering performance that will embarrass most brand-new turntables. The 140th Anniversary Edition adds a copper platter and other refinements, mechanical and aesthetic, to last year’s choice. It looks strikingly similar to the company’s original TD 124 made from 1957 to 1967, yet the DD differs in using a direct-drive motor rather than idler-drive design. Its tonearm appears identical, too, though is much improved, as is the available Ortofon SPU moving-coil cartridge that brings so much life—with force and impact—to LP playback. — RR

Anybody old enough to remember when the Rolling Stones’s Exile on Main Street was new in 1972 may remember that the original Technics SL-1200 came out a few months later. Both album and turntable were all the rage, and the Technics was the first quality direct-drive turntable that a penurious college student could afford. It went on to become a favorite of DJs, and now, the SL-1200GR2 brings a familiar look to a vastly improved design, recently updated as the GR2. Its rock-solid speed accuracy, robust chassis, and sophisticated S-shaped magnesium tonearm make the 21st century SL a no-brainer for LP lovers on a budget. — RR

As we said last year, extolling the sonic virtues of the 300B vacuum tube to someone unfamiliar with this amplification device is like explaining how a truffle is unlike any common mushroom. Just as that precious fungus is a gustatory revelation, an amplifier using the 300B offers a rich, multi-layered audio experience with sound as seductive as it is addictive. Western Electric invented the 300B in 1938, and the company, resurrected in 1996, soon began to remanufacture the legendary tube. The Western Electric 91E integrated amplifier is a SET (single-ended triode) design that delivers double the power of traditional 300B amps and makes any but the most power-hungry loudspeakers sing to the heavens. The component’s exquisitely machined chassis reminds us that audio gear can be jewelry, too. Until someone does it better, this is the integrated tube alter of choice. — RR

Best Bang-for-the-Buck Integrated Amplifier: Moon River 404 Reference Integrated Amplifier

Moon River Audio was introduced to Robb Report readers in the October 2022 issue, and now the 404 Reference cements this Swedish manufacturer’s claim to building the best integrated amplifier for the price. Distinguishing the Reference from the 404 Standard are its vastly improved power supply—doubled in capacitance—and the unit’s ability to drive virtually any loudspeaker with its relatively modest 50 wpc, proof once again that specifications don’t tell the whole story. Features like a tape monitor loop, stereo/mono switch, and a versatile MM/MC phono module offer added “army-knife” functionality. Like good Scandinavian furniture, the Moon River’s classic, understated design will endear it to those who like to look at, as well as listen to, a fine component. — RR

Audio gear using vacuum-tubes continues to attract acolytes in much the same way that an LP spun on a turntable can seem more alive, fleshed out, simply real . LTA tube-based gear is clean and clear, plus it sounds as if a veil has been removed, preserving only the nature of music itself. That’s because physicist David Berning, who invented ZOTL (Zero hysteresis Output Transformer-Less) tube architecture in 1996, eliminated audio output transformers because of the restrictions they impose on amplifier performance. This topology allows LTA amplifiers to have a flat frequency response from eight hz to 50 Khz, nearly impossible with an output transformer. Best MagSafe Charger

The new Qi2 wireless charging standard , developed with Apple’s input, brings MagSafe-style magnetic charging and a 15-watt charging rate. Sadly, most third-party MagSafe chargers with a puck-shaped design charge your iPhone at a slower rate (7.5 watts), but you won't have to worry about that with this 15-watt Anker charger. Few phones beyond Apple’s MagSafe lineup (iPhone 12 and later) work with the magnets today, but Qi2 is backward compatible. This pad from Anker stays put, has a durable aluminum casing that stays relatively cool, and has a 5-foot USB-C cable permanently attached, giving it the edge over Apple’s official MagSafe puck , which only has a 3-foot cable. It can also charge AirPods that have a magnetic charging case.

Best MagSafe Stand

Striking the perfect balance between heft and magnetism is tricky, but Nomad nails it with its new stand. It's heavy enough that you won’t knock it over when you fumble for your iPhone, and you can peel it away from the charger one-handed. The stand comes in black or white and feels sturdy, featuring an aluminum and glass body with rubber padding. It is officially Qi2 certified , so it can charge any Qi2 phone (including all the MagSafe iPhones) at the maximum 15-watt rate. It can get a little warm when charging, but not unusually so. You get a high-quality braided cable in the box, but you will need a 20-watt wall charger. We like Nomad’s 20-watt charger ($20) , but I can’t help feeling it should have been included at this price.

Best MagSafe Pad

Folks who prefer a pad should consider Nomad’s Base One. Like the stand, it's sculpted from metal and glass with rubber padding and has enough weight that you can pick your MagSafe iPhone off of it with one hand. The Base One is also officially MagSafe certified to charge at the maximum 15-watt rate, and you get a lovely braided cable in the box, though you need to supply your own 20-watt charger. If you don’t care about the 15-watt charging rate, perhaps because you charge overnight, you can opt for the regular Nomad Base and save some cash. It has a similar design and is MagSafe compatible, but tops out at 7.5 watts for iPhones. Stock seems to be fluctuating for the Base One, but you can get a notification when it's available again.

Best 2-in-1 MagSafe Charger

Our favorite 2-in-1 MagSafe charger is perfect for charging your iPhone and AirPods (or any other wireless earbuds with wireless charging support). It has a wide, circular base with a shiny metallic post connecting the MagSafe charging pad. Ours is white, but there’s a black option too. Stick your iPhone on in landscape view, and you can enjoy StandBy mode , effectively turning your iPhone into an alarm clock. This charger can provide the top 15-watt rate and includes a power adapter with a 5-foot cable permanently attached.

Best 3-in-1 MagSafe Charger

Folks with the holy trinity of Apple products will love Belkin’s 3-in-1 charging tree. It has a similar design to the 2-in-1 above, but the metal post is T-shaped, with a pad for your iPhone on one side and an Apple Watch spot on the other, plus a Qi-certified base for AirPods . It is fully certified to deliver 15 watts and can fast-charge capable Apple Watches . You can also pop your iPhone in landscape orientation if you want StandBy mode . Best for Travel

Space is at a premium when you travel, but Anker’s MagGo 3-in-1 folds away to an impressively compact form. It doesn’t scrimp on power, charging your iPhone or Qi2-certified phone at up to 15 watts on a magnetic pad that can adjust to your preferred angle. A second pad behind the main pad charges AirPods or other wireless earbuds, and there is a fold-out Apple Watch charger. You get a USB-C cable (around 5-foot) and a wall adapter in the box.

★ Alternative: Mophie's 3-in-1 Travel Charger With MagSafe ($150) is a nice option though it takes up a bit more space when it's unfolded. It folds neatly into a fabric case with a cable and charging adapter. It will fast-charge iPhones at 15 watts, and this updated model includes fast-charging support for the Apple Watch.

Best MagSafe Car Mount

This simple MagSafe mount slots into any vent in your car and has a powerful magnet array that keeps your iPhone securely in place, even on bumpy roads. There’s a ball joint so you can angle your iPhone slightly for a better view, and it’s easy to place it on the mount and remove it one-handed. You get a 12-volt car adapter and a USB-C cable in the box. Vent mounts are unobtrusive and may help your phone keep cool. Best MagSafe Power Bank

Sling a MagSafe power bank in your bag, and you can attach it when you need to top up your iPhone battery. This power bank boosted my iPhone 14 Pro’s battery by 78 percent and took around three hours to charge (since wireless charging is not the most efficient method, you will never get the stated capacity of a MagSafe power bank). You can continue using your iPhone while it’s charged because it doesn’t add much bulk, and there’s a small fold-out kickstand for propping your iPhone in portrait or landscape orientation. Just ensure you get the newer (A1614) version, as it has the USB-C port on the side and can turn off if you just want to use it as a stand. A Headphone Stand and Wireless Charger

Combining functionality is a great way to save desk space, and this headphone stand cleverly doubles as a MagSafe charger. There’s a stainless steel arm with a rubber section to lay your cans on and a MagSafe charging spot on the base. There’s also a USB-C port that you can use to top up your headphones or other devices. While you get a USB-C cable in the box, you'll need to use your own 20-watt wall charger.

Having a place to dump your keys, jewelry, and watch, and charge your phone and earbuds, can help you get out faster in the morning. This classy and roomy tray from Courant has a MagSafe spot for your iPhone, a secondary charging spot for your earbuds, and space for all your other daily essentials. I tried the black linen version, but you can opt for lighter shades or a leather finish (though it’s more expensive). The wireless charging is slow, but there is a spare USB-C port. There's also a bright, unnecessary LED on the back of this charger that I had to cover when using this on my nightstand.

It looks classy and neat, but the linen version picks up dust easily. WIRED reviews editor Julian Chokkattu has the Leather-Saddle model—he says it doesn't show dust easily and looks great after months of use.

The Thief vocation is undoubtedly the most unorthodox vocation in Dragon’s Dogma 2 , at least among the four starting vocations.

However, don’t let that deter you. Beyond the fact that you can change vocations if you don’t like it, the Thief is a lot of fun in combat and can deal plenty of damage with its acrobatic tricks. In fact, we even named it as the best vocation to choose at the start of Dragon’s Dogma 2 .

When you’ve ranked up the Thief vocation a few times, more weapon skills, core skills, and augments will become available to you for purchase at any Vocation Guild, bolstering its nimble playstyle. You’ll also need to consider which equipment to use.

It’s all a lot to juggle, so here’s the best Thief build for beginners in Dragon’s Dogma 2 .

Best Thief weapon skills to get first in Dragon’s Dogma 2

With the Thief, there are two viable playstyle options. You can either focus on the stealth aspect, darting about in the shadows and striking when the time is right as your foes focus on your pawns, or you can go on the all-out offensive with constant dodges to avoid taking too much damage. Our build mostly focuses on the latter because it’s a little more beginner-friendly, but you can easily adapt it to include one stealth-minded skill if needed. Also, make sure you upgrade each skill to the advanced variant as soon as you can.

• Biting Wind
• Helm Splitter
• Powder Charge

Biting Wind (and its advanced variant, Cutting Wind) is an absolute must no matter how you construct your Thief build. It should be your primary attack, because it consumes next to no stamina and allows you to close the gap between yourself and an enemy in an instant, slashing them with your daggers as you pass. You’re also nearly impossible to hit while in this state. The only worry is if you’re fighting near a cliff or in a tight space and you accidentally Biting Wind yourself too far, because you glide and dance around the battlefield without too much control over the direction.

When you’re taking on any flying or enormous foes, Helm Splitter is a godsend — it’s one of the only ways you can reliably harm large enemies as a Thief. The move sends you flying into the sky directly where you stand, rolling forward in mid-air like a Droideka to deal a flurry of hits. Timed well, you can take down flying enemies like this, but it’s especially useful against ogres, cyclopes, and the like.

Powder Charge is the only area-of-effect attack the Thief has, allowing you to plant an explosive in the ground then remotely trigger it from afar. This is useful against big groups of smaller enemies, or perhaps even more impressive is that the Thief is renowned for its ability to climb upon the backs of bigger foes. You can stick the Powder Charge into an ogre, leap off, then detonate the charge and send the big guy flying.

Finally, we have Ensnare , which is the only skill here that doesn’t deal direct damage. Instead, this is your most reliable tactic against flying enemies, as you can essentially stick a rope on them then pull them to the ground, where you can unleash melee attacks. However, much like Powder Charge, this can also be used on larger targets to knock them off balance.

Best Thief core skills and augments in Dragon’s Dogma 2

There are four core skills for the Thief, one of which is an absolute necessity and should come pre-unlocked as soon as you get your hands on the vocation: Scarlet Kisses . This is your basic attack, but it allows you to deal lots of reliable damage in quick succession. Controlled Fall is also very useful when you get knocked over, if you can react quick enough.

When it comes to augments, Subtlety is by far the best Thief choice, because it means you’re less likely to be the target of your foes. You’re somewhat of a glass cannon as a Thief, so limiting the amount of damage you’re likely to take is helpful. If you’ve ranked up your Fighter vocation, the Mettle and Thew augments are also incredibly useful to the Thief. Mettle increases your defense stat, while Thew increases inventory size , as you naturally have less capacity being a nimble Thief.

Best Thief equipment in Dragon’s Dogma 2

As this build is aimed at beginners in Dragon’s Dogma 2, it’s tough to recommend very specific pieces that will elevate the build massively because your options are limited. Eventually you’ll find bits and pieces through exploration and completing side quests, but at the start you’re better off forking out some cash at Bjorn’s Armory and Roderick’s Smithy in Vernworth. These are the best armor and weapons available there for the Thief vocation.

There’s only one feasible choice for the helmet, and that’s the Unseen Shadow (4500 gold). The other option, the Hard-Leather Helm, is subpar in every regard. For the body armor, go for the Ranger’s Vest (7900 gold) because it’s half a kilo lighter than the more expensive Scaled Jacket, and offers more resistances. Finally, the Sprinter’s Boots (7900 gold) are the best option for leg armor, because even though they’re a little heavier than the other options, they offer impressive knockdown resistance which is a huge help for the Thief.

When it comes to weaponry, both the Stilettos (5300 gold) and the Snagdaggers (14800 gold) are worthy options. The Snagdaggers deal much more damage, but they’re considerably heavier, so it’s worth weighing up the options if you’ll pardon the pun.

Without giving away any spoilers however, if you do choose to play as the Thief vocation, you should prioritize the main quest, in particular the tasks Captain Brant asks of you. You’ll eventually stumble upon some very nice Thief gear indeed.

Peter Schrager recalled some of his best moments from Good Morning Football as he bid farewell to the “NYC era” of the show as production moves to LA this summer.

“Today is my last day in the New York City Good Morning Football studios,” Schrager said on Friday’s show.

Schrager reminded viewers that GMFB started on 59th Street and then moved to Times Square before moving to lower Manhattan “for the last several seasons,” adding, “Each studio holds a place in my heart and has a real place in this show’s history.”

After showcasing some of the best moments Schrager had on the show over the past eight years, he took a moment to thank the crew “who puts on the show.”

“The show itself in name is going out to LA and it’ll have the same spirit that it had in New York. But I just am reflective I am grateful,” Schrager said. “There wasn’t a single day in the last eight years that I didn’t realize that I had my dream job because I would drive in from Brooklyn, and you get the Brooklyn Bridge, and you have the New York City sun just rising over that skyline it was like, like a romantic comedy like a movie.”

He continued, “And those days are done. We’re going to be taking the show elsewhere. And we’ll see what happens. But I just wanted to appreciate my time in New York and the crew and the people. A lot of those folks won’t be making the trip. But we do love them and that they are a part of the story in the show and it’s fabric.”

Schrager assured viewers it was “not the last that you’ll see me be talking football or the last that we’ll be talking football together. It’s just the end of an era.”

Without confirming whether he was going to continue hosting GMFB from LA, Schrager ended by saying, “To all the executives out there, the NFL Network, the NFL, the league office, and the viewers, thanks for letting us do it for the past eight years. It was awesome. It was real, and it was my dream job, and I loved every single day.”
