Several common issues you could experience on a Ford V10 engine are worth noting. These include problems with the PCV hose, exhaust manifold , spark plugs, and gas mileage .

Spark plug issues

A prevalent engine-related issue with the Ford V10 is with spark plugs. Pre-2002 Ford V10 engines have a design flaw within their spark plug and cylinder head designs that causes the plugs to either weld themselves to the cylinder head or eject out of the cylinder head.

As a result of the heat properties, the threads get welded into the cylinder head, weakening the material and the hold. In the process, one of these two things happens:

  • The plugs blow out of the cylinder head because the material weakens and breaks
  • You are unable to get the spark plugs out when making replacements because they are welded in place

Cracked PCV hose

Modern gas engines are equipped with a recirculating system called Positive Crankcase Ventilation, or PCV. A car’s engine burns gasoline and releases waste gasses as a byproduct. While most of these gasses go to the exhaust system for further burning, some get stuck in the engine.

When these waste gasses get trapped, they go down to the crankcase, which holds oil below the engine. If the gasses sit in the crankcase for too long, they can ruin the oil, causing critical engine issues. As a result, the PCV system is equipped with a valve within the crankcase that releases these gasses, recirculating them back into the intake manifold for re-burning.

The PCV valves release the gasses into the intake manifold through the PCV hose. This hose is connected to the intake manifold from the PCV valve. The PCV hose is made from plastic and is prone to cracking. When it cracks, the intake manifold loses pressure, causing air to leak out of the intake system, leading to various performance-related issues.

Exhaust manifold failure

Exhaust manifolds are bolted up to the exhaust system and engine cylinders, and they transfer used engine air to the vehicle’s exhaust system, where it is released into the atmosphere. The Triton Ford V10 engine made its first debut in 1997. Due to its reliability, the production continued until 2021. It was used in several Ford E-series, F-250, F-350, Cargo vans, and Buses. The Ford V10 Triton engine belongs to the Ford Modular engine family.

1997-2002: Spark plug issues

Ford V10 6.8L engine has undergone several upgrades and changes over the years. However, some folks still want more, at least, to squeeze out a little bit of extra power. There are a lot of mods and upgrades you can do to make the engine reach its peak performance.

I will walk you through the three most effective mods you can do to gain peak performance on your V10 Ford engine. However, you must be prepared to spend some cash and get your hands dirty because this can be expensive.

Install a 5-star tuning module.

One of the likely reasons your V10 on RV is not performing as it should is because of its system gauges are limited.

You need more information when revving the engine to understand the exact system readings.  A 5-star tuner is a device that allows you to reconfigure your V10 engine in RV digitally. With a 5-star tuning module, you will know the exact rpm, mileage, and other information in a digitalized form (actual numbers and percentages) instead of vague gauge readings.

It also displays other information about your engine and vehicle that is not shown on your dashboard, such as tachometer readings and transmission shift points.

To fine-tune your RV using this module, you first need to install the device. It must be connected to your vehicle control system. Then, enter your vehicle information to ensure you get the correct tuning.

You can configure the vehicle to see other readings like engine load, speed, coolant temperature, and RPM. Knowing this information can help you prevent issues like overheating, misfires, and other engine issues.

Replace your rear axle gears.

While you need to rev the engine to generate power, it takes more than that. You need the right gears to generate enough power at average speed.

Many RVs and Buses that use the Ford V10 6.8L engine are equipped with tall gears at the rear axle. As a result, you need to travel between 70 to 80 mph before the engine can produce enough power. The problem is that 70 to 80 mph is too fast for most drivers.

The safe speed to travel with an RV and Buses is 60 mph. Driving faster could cause you trouble with the authorities. But you must increase your speed to get the desired engine power.

The only way to solve this problem is to change the tall gears in the rear axles to smaller ones so you can generate enough RPM even at lower mph. This can be very expensive, so you have to consider this before investing in a Ford Motorhome.

Replace engine air filters frequently.

This is not really a mod, but it can help you gain the desired horsepower. The Ford V10 engine needs more air to burn fuel into energy. Posted on 12/9/02 Vehicle Overview Shoppers looking for the largest sport utility vehicle in any showroom must turn to Ford. The Excursion measures nearly 19 feet long — that’s nearly 21 inches longer than the company’s full-size Expedition, and it is more than 7 inches longer than its next closest rivals, the Chevrolet Suburban and GMC Yukon XL.

Built on the same platform as Ford’s F-250 Super Duty pickup truck, the Excursion exceeds an 8,500-pound gross vehicle weight rating (the vehicle’s weight plus what it can carry in passengers and cargo), which makes it exempt from federal emissions and fuel-economy requirements. Ford has been promoting environmental concerns in connection with its SUV lineup, which includes an announcement that the Excursion qualifies as a Low Emissions Vehicle (LEV).

Environmentalists have never stopped jeering at the jumbo Excursion, citing its close-to-insatiable fuel consumption. The standard 44-gallon fuel tank is indicative of the vehicle’s unappetizing gas mileage, though Ford emphasizes the fact that it gives the vehicle a long range between fill-ups.

The Excursion comes with rear-wheel drive or four-wheel drive (4WD). A new Eddie Bauer series joins the XLT and Limited models for 2003, and they will feature an Arizona Beige grille insert and fascias. Early in 2003, a new 6.0-liter Power Stroke diesel engine will debut, and it will deliver 325 horsepower and 550 pounds-feet of torque. A new TorqShift five-speed-automatic transmission will accompany that diesel engine. New 16-inch forged wheels and an in-dash six-CD changer go on the Limited edition, and all A-pillars on the driver’s side gain grab handles.

Despite rising fuel prices in 2000 and into 2001, Ford’s behemoth SUV managed to sell well enough. But total sales for 2001 dipped by 31.7 percent to just 34,710 units, as reported by Automotive News . In July 2002, Ford sources acknowledged that production of the Excursion will end after the 2004 model year.

Exterior Even though the Excursion is abundantly sized, traditional SUV styling includes four side doors. Ford claims that the Excursion’s back doors are wider than those on the Suburban for easier access to the middle and rear seats. The rear door is a tri-panel arrangement, which features a window on top that flips up and twin Dutch doors below that open to the sides. A BlockerBeam runs across the vehicle below the front bumper to prevent cars from sliding underneath it in the event of a collision.

Aluminum wheels hold 16-inch tires. The Excursion rides a 137.1-inch wheelbase, stretches 226.7 inches long overall and has an 8.1-inch ground clearance. Two-wheel-drive (2WD) models are 77.2 inches high, vs. 80.2 inches high for the 4×4 editions. A standard trailer hitch provides similar protection at the rear.

Interior The Excursion has a nine-passenger capacity, plus 48 cubic feet of cargo volume behind the rear seat. The seats of the second-row split bench tip and fold forward to allow easier access to the third row. The rear bench seat is removable and rolls on built-in wheels. The cargo volume grows to 146 cubic feet with the rear seat removed and the middle bench folded down; that space can carry a 4-by-8-foot plywood sheet. Optional power-adjustable accelerator and brake pedals adjust within a 3-inch range to suit individual drivers.

Under the Hood Three engines are available in the Excursion. A 255-hp, 5.4-liter V-8 is standard on 2WD models. A 310-hp, 6.8-liter V-10 goes into 4WD models and is optional on 4x2s, and an optional 7.3-liter V-8 turbo-diesel produces 250 hp. These engines team with a four-speed-automatic transmission. A new 325-hp Power Stroke 6.0-liter diesel will arrive during the 2003 model year; it will team with a new five-speed-automatic transmission. The Excursion’s towing capacity is as high as 11,000 pounds with the V-10 or diesel engine.

Safety Antilock brakes are standard, but side-impact airbags are not available.

Driving Impressions Describing the drive in an Excursion is easy: You’re in a truck, period. Expect the typical engine and transmission drone found in trucks, coupled with ride quality that bears little resemblance to a passenger car. Ford’s newly redesigned Expedition yields a far more pleasing experience overall — including more satisfactory acceleration — and the slightly smaller model has enough interior space to suit most buyers.

The Excursion’s new Power Stroke diesel engine performs admirably, but it enhances the sensation of being in a full-fledged truck. A Power Stroke diesel Excursion managed to climb some steep grades but at a leisurely pace.

The type of engine you have in your truck or RV makes all the difference. You can get better fuel mileage, better performance and cut your repair costs down. All of that is a good thing. The Ford V10 may be the engine you are looking for.

This engine has a very good reliability reputation. But for you to experience that reliability, you should take care of your new Ford V10 and do proper routine maintenance. Good maintenance habits make sure you can get about 200,000 miles out of the Ford V10 motor.

How Many Miles is a Ford V10 Good for

The word is that with proper maintenance and care, you should be able to get about 200,000 miles on a Ford V10 with ease. Of course, your experience may produce slightly less than stellar results.

The mileage you get will depend on your personal driving skills and habits. Some people are harder on their vehicles through their driving skills. Also, your results will vary due to the type of terrain you are constantly crossing. If you are doing a lot of mountain travel, then wear and tear will impact your mileage.

The slogan ‘built Ford tough’ really applies to the Ford V10, especially the 6.8-liter model. Minimal maintenance and it runs as smooth as it did when it was new. That seems to be the opinion of many satisfied V10 engine owners.

The one thing you may need to watch out for is your spark plugs. The Ford V10 Triton comes with an iron block while the spark plugs have both steel and aluminum threads. Aluminum expands more than steel does, you may see a spark plug pop out once in a while. There will always be these little things that will crop up and hurt performance. But these issues do not hurt the over-all reliability of the Ford V10. Some people are talking about how they may reach 300,000 miles with very few problems.

Ford V10 Advantages

Like any product made today, there are a lot of advantages that come with the Ford V10 engine. Here is a list of those advantages you get when switching to a vehicle that has a Ford V10 under the hood.

As we said earlier, nothing is perfect in this world. It is very difficult for imperfect people to produce perfection. That is why as great as the V10 is, you may experience certain problems throughout the years you own your vehicle.

Here are some of the problems that can arise:

  • manifold and manifold bolt rust quickly and may break
  • spark plugs that expand too much and pop out of their place
  • ​coil on plug may have the engine running rough due to too much moisture exposure near the firewall
  • can use a quart of oil between oil changes​
  • seals may loosen and leak a little oil on the driver’s side of the engine block

Your experience may show a few more problems that come with the V10. But these problems do not seem to hurt how well the V10 performs over the long haul. As we said, even with these issues, V10 owners are regularly getting low 6 figures in mileage and their engine is still going strong.

Misfire Problems

This does happen from time to time and if you look in the previous section you will see that part of the problem may come from the coil on the component that receives too much moisture.

It also may come from the sparkplugs that are becoming loose due to the different expansion rates between steel and aluminum. The best solution for this problem would be to replace your plugs, boots, and coils

You should do al of them at the same time to make sure you can track their life span easier. This will also make future repairs easier as you know how long each component has been in your vehicle.

A misfire is usually a problem with the ignition which would cover the spark plugs, coils and boots. But it could also mean that there is a problem with the fuel injectors. If you are not a good mechanic, it is best to take your vehicle to an honest mechanic you can trust to get the problem solved.

Stalling Problems

Isn’t it always the situation where you experience a problem and when you go to a dealer the problem never shows its face. That can happen when your Ford V10 stalls out, even if they have low miles on it. The good news is that the sources may not be that hard to find.

One place to look would be the switch that is built into the gas pedal. If this pedal malfunctions then the fuel delivery will be cut and your engine will stall. Other sources may be starting off too fast or dropping into gear before the engine has stopped revving.

If those sources are not the problem, it could be the fuel line is clogged or for some reason the fuel is not reaching the carb when you are going uphill. Or it could be the IAC component that controls the air when the throttle is closed.

It is hard to say which is your source because there are no definitive answers. Each situation may have a different source.

Starter Problems

If your vehicle does not start when you try jumping it, then you may have a starter problem. When this happens, it could be that the starter’s brushes have worn out and you need to replace the whole unit.

Or it could be the starter relay that has malfunctioned, and you would need to replace that part aw well. On the other hand, it may be something as simple as your connections. If they have gotten loose, then the starter won’t be able to run the motor over and you are stuck in your driveway.

Check the connections from the battery to your starter to your solenoid to see if they have come loose at all. Finally, turn your headlights on before starting your vehicle. If they do not come on or dim when you try to start your engine, then it is not the starter that is the problem.

You have a bad battery and it needs to be charged up or replaced.

Head Gasket

This can be a rare problem, but it can happen if the head gasket has been overheated, turbocharged or stressed in some other way. When you have a head gasket issue, don’t let the repair man talk you into expensive repairs. It is a straight-forward job that if done right, won’t take a lot of time.

The good thing about the V10 is that you only have to replace one head gasket and not work on the other one is that one has no issues. Also, the problem might not be with the head gasket. It could come from a sensor or the valve cover. Just make sure you are told the correct problem before okaying any repairs.

Your biggest worry is going to be the mechanic or repair shop that is thinking about doing the repairs. They may tell you that your warranty is no good and you are going to have to foot a $3,000 to $4,000 repair bill.

It is best to find another repair shop when you are told those stories.

There is the rumor that the Ford V10 has a problem with the sparkplugs popping out of their place and stripping the threads. We say rumor even after stating this is one of the problems that this engine has because most of these stories are only written about and most V10 owners have not had that experience nor do they know anyone who has.

But that does not mean it does not happen. When it does, you will need to re-thread the spark plug case and replace the old spark plug. Now if you have other spark plug issues, it may be that they have grown old, gone past their validity date or experience other common spark plug issues.

Then you either clean the spark plug heads or replace them. When you replace the spark plugs on your V10 make sure to use the right torque and the anti-seize to make sure they function at peak levels.

You can also prevent spark plug popping by putting a steel insert in the threads

How to Extend your Ford V10 Life

The most common way to extend the life expectancy on your Ford V10 is to do proper and regular maintenance on it. Change the oil when needed, change the transmission fluid when told to and do other minor maintenance to make sure your engine is always running at ultimate levels.

Part of that routine maintenance will include changing your air filter on a regular basis as well as keeping fresh coolant in the radiator. Plus, you need to watch your driving habits . Over racing your engine will contribute to a shorter lifespan than driving defensively and keeping your motor at optimum rpm levels.

One trick you can invest in, about $250 or so, is a filter bypass system that filters your oil down to 1 micron. That is supposed to be 24 microns better than a regular full flow oil filter.

This extra filtering ensures less garbage is going through your engine and keeps it well protected.

Some Final Words

The Ford V10 is known for its reliability and its high mileage. It is not uncommon to read that owners are getting 150,000 to 250,000, with some reaching 300,00, miles without too many difficulties.

With proper routine maintenance and careful driving, you should reach those levels yourself. Then the Ford V10 comes with a lot of advantages which help make driving a lot more enjoyable. You can get up to 90,000 miles on your spark plugs as well as other benefits that make the engine very reliable and strong.

Just keep in mind that the V10 is not a perfect engine. It does have its share of problems but with the right repair work, it will still last you a very long time. If there is one thing about the V10 is that it may not be perfect but it is as close to perfection as you can get.

The Excursion's final year of production is 2004 so there are few changes from last year. Ford's excellent new 6.0-liter turbodiesel V8 replaces last year's 7.3-liter diesel. Besides offering considerably more horsepower and torque, the new engine has cleaner emissions and gets better gas mileage. Several new options are available; these include wireless headphones for the rear-seat entertainment package and an auto-dimming rearview mirror. Body-side cladding and illuminated running boards are no longer available on XLT models. Also note that the trim level structure has been revised slightly, as base XLS and midlevel XLT trim replace XLT Value and XLT Premium.

Unless you really need the Excursion's towing ability and huge interior, you're better off with the smaller Expedition or GM's Suburban/Yukon XL twins.

Moscow’s nightlife scene is thriving, and arguably one of the best the world has to offer – top-notch Russian women, coupled with a never-ending list of venues, Moscow has a little bit of something for everyone’s taste. Moscow nightlife is not for the faint of heart – and if you’re coming, you better be ready to go Friday and Saturday night into the early morning.

This comprehensive guide to Moscow nightlife will run you through the nuts and bolts of all you need to know about Moscow’s nightclubs and give you a solid blueprint to operate with during your time in Moscow.

What you need to know before hitting Moscow nightclubs

Prices in moscow nightlife.

Before you head out and start gaming all the sexy Moscow girls , we have to talk money first. Bring plenty because in Moscow you can never bring a big enough bankroll. Remember, you’re the man so making a fuzz of not paying a drink here or there will not go down well.

Luckily most Moscow clubs don’t do cover fees. Some electro clubs will charge 15-20$, depending on their lineup. There’s the odd club with a minimum spend of 20-30$, which you’ll drop on drinks easily. By and large, you can scope out the venues for free, which is a big plus.

Bottle service is a great deal in Moscow. At top-tier clubs, it starts at 1,000$. That’ll go a long way with premium vodka at 250$, especially if you have three or four guys chipping in. Not to mention that it’s a massive status boost for getting girls, especially at high-end clubs.

Without bottle service, you should estimate a budget of 100-150$ per night. That is if you drink a lot and hit the top clubs with the hottest girls. Scale down for less alcohol and more basic places.

Dress code & Face control

Door policy in Moscow is called “face control” and it’s always the guy behind the two gorillas that gives the green light if you’re in or out.

In Moscow nightlife there’s only one rule when it comes to dress codes:

You can never be underdressed.

People dress A LOT sharper than, say, in the US and that goes for both sexes. For high-end clubs, you definitely want to roll with a sharp blazer and a pocket square, not to mention dress shoes in tip-top condition. Those are the minimum requirements to level the playing field vis a vis with other sharply dressed guys that have a lot more money than you do. Unless you plan to hit explicit electro or underground clubs, which have their own dress code, you are always on the money with that style.

Getting in a Moscow club isn’t as hard as it seems: dress sharp, speak English at the door and look like you’re in the mood to spend all that money that you supposedly have (even if you don’t). That will open almost any door in Moscow’s nightlife for you.

Types of Moscow Nightclubs

In Moscow there are four types of clubs with the accompanying female clientele:

High-end clubs:

These are often crossovers between restaurants and clubs with lots of tables and very little space to dance. Heavy accent on bottle service most of the time but you can work the room from the bar as well. The hottest and most expensive girls in Moscow go there. Bring deep pockets and lots of self-confidence and you have a shot at swooping them.

Regular Mid-level clubs:

They probably resemble more what you’re used to in a nightclub: big dancefloors, stages and more space to roam around. Bottle service will make you stand out more but you can also do well without. You can find all types of girls but most will be in the 6-8 range. Your targets should always be the girls drinking and ideally in pairs. It’s impossible not to swoop if your game is at least half-decent.

Basic clubs/dive bars:

Usually spots with very cheap booze and lax face control. If you’re dressed too sharp and speak no Russian, you might attract the wrong type of attention so be vigilant. If you know the local scene you can swoop 6s and 7s almost at will. Usually students and girls from the suburbs.

Electro/underground clubs:

Home of the hipsters and creatives. Parties there don’t mean meeting girls and getting drunk but doing pills and spacing out to the music. Lots of attractive hipster girls if that is your niche. That is its own scene with a different dress code as well.

What time to go out in Moscow

Moscow nightlife starts late. Don’t show up at bars and preparty spots before 11pm because you’ll feel fairly alone. Peak time is between 1am and 3am. That is also the time of Moscow nightlife’s biggest nuisance: concerts by artists you won’t know and who only distract your girls from drinking and being gamed. From 4am to 6am the regular clubs are emptying out but plenty of people, women included, still hit up one of the many afterparty clubs. Those last till well past 10am.

As far as days go: Fridays and Saturdays are peak days. Thursday is an OK day, all other days are fairly weak and you have to know the right venues.

The Ultimate Moscow Nightclub List

Short disclaimer: I didn’t add basic and electro clubs since you’re coming for the girls, not for the music. This list will give you more options than you’ll be able to handle on a weekend.

Preparty – start here at 11PM

Classic restaurant club with lots of tables and a smallish bar and dancefloor. Come here between 11pm and 12am when the concert is over and they start with the actual party. Even early in the night tons of sexy women here, who lean slightly older (25 and up).

The second floor of the Ugolek restaurant is an extra bar with dim lights and house music tunes. Very small and cozy with a slight hipster vibe but generally draws plenty of attractive women too. A bit slower vibe than Valenok.

Very cool, spread-out venue that has a modern library theme. Not always full with people but when it is, it’s brimming with top-tier women. Slow vibe here and better for grabbing contacts and moving on.

High-end: err on the side of being too early rather than too late because of face control.

Secret Room

Probably the top venue at the moment in Moscow . Very small but wildly popular club, which is crammed with tables but always packed. They do parties on Thursdays and Sundays as well. This club has a hip-hop/high-end theme, meaning most girls are gold diggers, IG models, and tattooed hip hop chicks. Very unfavorable logistics because there is almost no room no move inside the club but the party vibe makes it worth it. Strict face control.

Close to Secret Room and with a much more favorable and spacious three-part layout. This place attracts very hot women but also lots of ball busters and fakes that will leave you blue-balled. Come early because after 4am it starts getting empty fast. Electronic music.

A slightly kitsch restaurant club that plays Russian pop and is full of gold diggers, semi-pros, and men from the Caucasus republics. Thursday is the strongest night but that dynamic might be changing since Secret Room opened its doors. You can swoop here but it will be a struggle.

Mid-level: your sweet spot in terms of ease and attractiveness of girls for an average budget.

Started going downwards in 2018 due to lax face control and this might get even worse with the World Cup. In terms of layout one of the best Moscow nightclubs because it’s very big and bottle service gives you a good edge here. Still attracts lots of cute girls with loose morals but plenty of provincial girls (and guys) as well. Swooping is fairly easy here.

I haven’t been at this place in over a year, ever since it started becoming ground zero for drunken teenagers. Similar clientele to Icon but less chic, younger and drunker. Decent mainstream music that attracts plenty of tourists. Girls are easy here as well.

Sort of a Coyote Ugly (the real one in Moscow sucks) with party music and lots of drunken people licking each others’ faces. Very entertaining with the right amount of alcohol and very easy to pull in there. Don’t think about staying sober in here, you’ll hate it.

Artel Bessonitsa/Shakti Terrace

Electronic music club that is sort of a high-end place with an underground clientele and located between the teenager clubs Icon and Gipsy. Very good music but a bit all over the place with their vibe and their branding. You can swoop almost any type of girl here from high-heeled beauty to coked-up hipsters, provided they’re not too sober.

Afterparty: if by 5AM  you haven’t pulled, it’s time to move here.

Best afterparty spot in terms of trying to get girls. Pretty much no one is sober in there and savage gorilla game goes a long way. Lots of very hot and slutty-looking girls but it can be hard to tell apart who is looking for dick and who is just on drugs but not interested. If by 9-10am you haven’t pulled, it is probably better to surrender.

The hipster alternative for afterparties, where even more drugs are in play. Plenty of attractive girls there but you have to know how to work this type of club. A nicer atmosphere and better music but if you’re desperate to pull, you’ll probably go to Miks.

Weekday jokers: if you’re on the hunt for some sexy Russian girls during the week, here are two tips to make your life easier.

Chesterfield

Ladies night on Wednesdays means this place gets pretty packed with smashed teenagers and 6s and 7s. Don’t pull out the three-piece suit in here because it’s a “simpler” crowd. Definitely your best shot on Wednesdays.

If you haven’t pulled at Chesterfield, you can throw a Hail Mary and hit up Garage’s Black Music Wednesdays. Fills up really late but there are some cute Black Music groupies in here. Very small club. Thursday through Saturday they do afterparties and you have an excellent shot and swooping girls that are probably high.

Shishas Sferum

This is pretty much your only shot on Mondays and Tuesdays because they offer free or almost free drinks for women. A fairly low-class club where you should watch your drinks. As always the case in Moscow, there will be cute girls here on any day of the week but it’s nowhere near as good as on the weekend.

Day 1 Panoramic city tour

Welcome to the glorious capital of Russia, Moscow! You’ll be met by your driver at the airport and taken to your centrally located hotel.

After check-in and rest, meet your private guide at the hotel lobby for a comprehensive tour of Moscow by car. Visit the starkly contrasting Theatre Square to see the stunning Bolshoi Theatre, pass Tverskaya Street, the city’s main boulevard and home to the landmark Yeleseyevskiy Grocery Store.

You’ll enjoy a panoramic drive along the Moskva River, where a huge, controversial state of Peter the Great was erected. Pass by the legendary Gorky Park and the White House before a stop at the architecturally stunning Novodevichy Convent, and the observation platform at Sparrow Hills, for a bird’s eye view over this staggering megalopolis.

Day 2 Red Square and Kremlin

After breakfast at the hotel, your guide will take you on a walking tour of the historical city centre. Stroll through the Red Square, the hub of cultural life in Moscow, with its elaborate ‘stone flower’ fountain and fantasy-like St Basil’s Cathedral – a postcard-perfect symbol of the nation. Admire the grandiose façade of GUM, the city’s most luxurious shopping centre, and visit Alexander’s Garden, with its eternal flame and the chance to watch a changing of the guards.

Break for lunch before continuing on a tour of the Kremlin and Armoury Chamber, famous of its collection of tsarist fashion, with regalia such as jewel-encrusted crowns, orbs and sceptres as well as arms and armour, exotic gifts from the leaders of faraway lands, and an illustrious case of Imperial Faberge eggs.

Day 3 Metro and Arbat Street

Start a day with a tour of Metro, stopping on the way to marvel at some of the most elaborately decorated stations of the world-famous Moscow subway system. Take a stroll along Old Arbat street - the most famous street in Moscow. Through the centuries Arbat used to be one of the most bohemian places in Moscow. Today Arbat is a promenade full of small cozy cafes and street life.

The afternoon is free for you to either enjoy the rest of the day on your own or choose among optional excursions to explore more of Moscow. Visit the Tretyakov Gallery or Pushkin State Museum to admire Russian art. Join locals for a stroll at the Gorky or VDNH park.

Visit beautiful Kolomeskoye Estate or Izmailovo Kremlin, or spend a day exploring the beautiful city of the Golden Ring (Russian province) - Sergiev Posad. In the evening you will be transferred to the airport for your departure to your next destination.

    It is somewhat difficult to get a "Wonderful Sound" from the V10. The nature of the exhaust flow of the V10 makes getting the deep growl of a V8 difficult. If you decide to go the V10 route, research different sound clips to make sure you get what you are looking for. I decided to keep mine quiet and strong.

    Seems like it a safe bet but that still seems like high miles . Looking for input if this being a fleet truck would be a good reliable option even with those miles . I have a 2000 F250 with the V-10 and it is pushing 225000 miles. Although it uses a quart or so of oil between changes it runs pretty good.
