Southall Travel Group plans to move its headquarters into a £17 million office in London’s Mayfair. The six-storey building in Dover Street has been acquired after a three-year search. The company’s management team is due to move from Iver in Buckinghamshire in the third quarter of the year. The move is part of a long-term expansion strategy and will provide suitable meeting facilities for the firm’s corporate business partners and suppliers. The new office location is a prestigious acquisition to provide a long-term headquarters for the privately-owned travel company. Southall Travel Group managing director, Kuljinder Bahia, said: “I’m extremely pleased that a suitable office has been acquired for our growing team. “The location in Dover Street, Mayfair, is convenient for our corporate customers, our key supplier meetings and will provide a suitable address for our headquarters for years to come.”

Southall Travel Acquires a New Office Location in Mayfair, London

Southall Travel Group has bought a new £17 million state-of-the-art office in Mayfair, London. The company has enjoyed phenomenal growth during past few years and needed much larger space than its current headquarters in Buckinghamshire to accommodate its expanding business and team. Southall Travel's management team is due to move here in the third quarter of 2016.

London, United Kingdom, January 25, 2016 (Newswire.com) - ​​​Southall Travel Group , a leading flights and holidays company, has acquired a large office in the exclusive commercial district of Mayfair, London. The company intends to move its corporate headquarters to this new six- storey facility on Dover Street in the third quarter of 2016. Southall Travel acquired the state-of-the-art office facility after a three-year search and with an investment of £17 million. The travel company currently maintains headquarters at Iver, Buckinghamshire .

The relocation of headquarters is part of the company’s long-term expansion strategy. Southall Travel Group has witnessed accelerated growth over the past few years and a much larger space was needed to accommodate the expansion. The new office building in London will provide more flexible and accessible venue for meeting and conference facilities with the firm's business partners and suppliers.

During the financial year ending 2015, Southall Travel Group’s turnover has grown by £65 million to £420 million.

The privately-owned company had been looking for a new office location since 2012 and with this new acquisition the company can now progress with its exciting new business plans.

Mayfair, an exclusive West London district, is home to major corporate headquarters and several embassies, including the United States Embassy. Mayfair boasts London's largest concentration of luxury hotels and many upscale restaurants.

Southall Travel’s new office location in this prime commercial area is a prestigious acquisition to provide a long-term headquarters for the travel company.

The Southall Travel Group has bought a new £17 million head quarters in London’s Mayfair.

Following a three-year search, the west London based agency bought the six-storey Dover Street property with the intention of the management team moving in in the third quarter of this year.

The property is intended to be a long-term head office.

Southall Travel Group has announced the appointment of Paul Wait in the role of chief operating officer. 

Reporting to Southall Travel Group MD Kuljinder Bahia, Paul will join the company in September.

In his new position, Paul will be working closely with Mr Bahia to guide the business through its ambitious expansion programme through all its major brands.  Listed 17th in the Sunday Times Top Track 250 of Britain’s leading mid-market private companies, Paul’s depth and breadth of Industry experience will greatly assist Southall Travel’s growth. With over 1 Million clients travelling each year, Paul’s wealth of expertise will be invaluable to the Group’s future.

Paul joins Southall Travel from his role as CEO of the GTMC (Guild of Travel Management Companies), the UK’s leading professional industry body representing travel management companies.  Prior to the GTMC, Paul’s successful career included senior roles at Virgin Atlantic Airways, where he was General Manager UK – Global and Multinational Sales, and American Express, where he was Vice President, Sales.

Paul will be based at Southall Travel’s offices in Mayfair, London. The company’s corporate headquarters will relocate to Dover Street premises in May, having previously been based in Iver, Buckinghamshire.

Southall Travel Acquires a New Office Location in Mayfair, London

Southall Travel Group has bought a new £17 million state-of-the-art office in Mayfair, London. The company has enjoyed phenomenal growth during past few years and needed much larger space than its current headquarters in Buckinghamshire to accommodate its expanding business and team. Southall Travel's management team is due to move here in the third quarter of 2016.

London, United Kingdom, January 25, 2016 (Newswire.com) - ​​​Southall Travel Group , a leading flights and holidays company, has acquired a large office in the exclusive commercial district of Mayfair, London. The company intends to move its corporate headquarters to this new six- storey facility on Dover Street in the third quarter of 2016. Southall Travel acquired the state-of-the-art office facility after a three-year search and with an investment of £17 million. The travel company currently maintains headquarters at Iver, Buckinghamshire .

The relocation of headquarters is part of the company’s long-term expansion strategy. Southall Travel Group has witnessed accelerated growth over the past few years and a much larger space was needed to accommodate the expansion. The new office building in London will provide more flexible and accessible venue for meeting and conference facilities with the firm's business partners and suppliers.

During the financial year ending 2015, Southall Travel Group’s turnover has grown by £65 million to £420 million.

The privately-owned company had been looking for a new office location since 2012 and with this new acquisition the company can now progress with its exciting new business plans.

Mayfair, an exclusive West London district, is home to major corporate headquarters and several embassies, including the United States Embassy. Mayfair boasts London's largest concentration of luxury hotels and many upscale restaurants.

Southall Travel’s new office location in this prime commercial area is a prestigious acquisition to provide a long-term headquarters for the travel company.
