I just called to find out about booking flights and some travel connections for a cruise we are taking over the summer. When I said we had already booked the cruise and pretty much told me she wasn't interested in my business. That she gets commission from the cruise company, so she would charge me $100 per ticket to book flights for us, so since we are 11 people, that would be $2200 in fees to her! No thanks..

Vivian is a godsend. She helped me plan a two week trip to Italy with my husband and twin sons. This trip was a big splurge/long awaited and so I was nervous about a lot of the choices. I wanted to make sure we had a good trip, given the expense. Vivian made the whole experience relaxing and fun. She gave me options, but ones that were carefully vetted. Most of the tour operators and villa rental places were ones she had worked with in the past and could vouch for. She wrote out a detailed itinerary and gave me a packet that makes a slightly anxious traveler swoon: a clear pleated envelope, with each step of the journey (taxi ride, tour, train tickets, etc.) in a separate #10 envelope, in order, with detailed instructions on the outside. Like having the most doting mother planning your trip, but one with a joyful spirit and excitement for adventure. I will never use anyone else!

We booked our Colorado river rafting trip with these folks and we're pleased by all the personable attention we received. They even got us on a cool helicopter ride into the canyon for our put in. We both had stuffed kites into our backpacks and flew from behind our speedboat zooming across lake Mead near the end of our trip.
