Jurassic World Live Tour, an exhilarating and unpredictable live, family entertainment experience that brings the wonder and thrills of Jurassic World to generations of fans is coming to Fiserv Forum Nov. 11-13.

With unrivaled arena production quality, Jurassic World comes to life against a backdrop of captivating scenery where dinosaurs from the iconic franchise, including fan-favorite Velociraptor Blue and a Tyrannosaurus rex more than 40 feet in length, take center stage. The production features more than 24 film-accurate, life-sized dinosaurs, with scale, speed and ferocity, operated by animatronics and performers.

Jurassic World’s unmistakable score combined with projection and practical scenery transforms the arena into the dense jungles of Isla Nublar, where real Gyrospheres roll through the valley and scientists work to unravel a corrupt plan and save anew dinosaur from a terrible fate. With pulse-pounding stunts and an original, authentic storyline, this show is guaranteed to make memories that will last another 65 million years.

There is a  NO BAG  policy at Fiserv Forum. Wallets  smaller than 4” x 6” x 1” are permitted . Exceptions to this policy are diaper bags and bags needed due to medical necessity, which will need to be x-rayed by security.

Jurassic World Live Tour roars into AmericanAirlines Arena

MIAMI (WSVN) - The Jurassic World Live Tour will feature 3D backdrops and life-sized prehistoric animals at the AmericanAirlines Arena in downtown Miami.

7News got a sneak peek of the tour’s set on Friday.

The show’s engineers showed 7News cameras how they use technology to bring the animals to life.

Dinoteer Charles Clark compared suiting up in a dinosaur suit to being strapped into a fighter jet.

“This LCD screen is kind of like your heads-up display, and it shows you everything that’s happening in front of you,” Clark said. “You get strapped in real tight, and then, you take your hands, put them on the controller, and you’re about to control a dinosaur. It’s how it always feels like to me every time I get strapped in.”

The show took over two years to make, and the dinosaurs took 20 months to build.

“It is a fully-immersive show,” dinoteer Brittaney Talbot said. “We have seven different species of dinosaur, over 20 different puppets. We have motorcycle stunts. We have live-action stunts.”

“The dinosaurs all weigh between 100 and 140 pounds, and we all went through 10 weeks of training to get ready to bring these dinos to life,” Clark said.

The live-action performance picks up where “Jurassic World” left off, meaning a genetically engineered dinosaur breaks free and scientists have to catch it.

“I specifically operate Jeanie, and the show focuses on finding Jeanie, finding Jeanie’s eggs and following her journey throughout the show,” Clark said.

The show also features a gyrosphere like the one seen in “Jurassic World.”

“This is a fully functioning gyrosphere,” performer Kevin Campbell said. “You can sit inside and control it, roll around this entire arena. We use it for one of our opening shots.”

The tour began Thursday and will continue through Sunday.

The dinosaurs will be at the BB&T Center in Sunrise from Jan. 23 to Jan. 26.

Join forces with a team of scientists to unravel a corrupt plan and save Jeanie, a Troodon dinosaur, from a terrible fate. Along the way, experience some of Jurassic World’s most iconic dinosaurs including Blue the Raptor, Stegosaurus, Triceratops and the mighty Tyrannosaurus rex!

For enhanced safety and speed of entry, we strongly discourage guests from bringing bags to events. All fans are urged to arrive early and travel light.

If a bag is necessary, the following restrictions and processes apply:

• Backpacks of any size are considered prohibited items and are NOT allowed into the arena.
• Bags that measure larger than 12”x12”x6” are prohibited and are NOT allowed into the arena.
• Bags that measure between 6”x4”x1.5” and 12”x 12”x6” (including clear bags and Nashville Locker Room bags) are subject to x-ray screening and visual inspection. 
• Bags that measure smaller than 6” x 4” x 1.5” may proceed through express screening lanes for visual inspection.  
• Diaper bags and bags needed for medical reasons are allowed but will be subject to x-ray screening. We kindly ask that you reach out to Bridgestone Arena Customer Service ([email protected]) 24 hours prior to your event if you want to arrange for additional accommodations before arrival. 

Reminder:  Patrons with prohibited items will not be permitted entry to the arena. Bridgestone Arena does not provide on-site storage. Guests are asked to plan accordingly and allow for extra time when arriving at Bridgestone Arena.

Shakira announces world tour with stop in Miami

Grammy-winning Colombian superstar Shakira is bringing her world tour through South Florida later this year.

Shakira announced Tuesday the 12 U.S. cities and two Canadian cities being visited on the first leg of her world tour, which begins in North America on Nov. 2 in California and ends Dec. 15 in Detroit.

The tour will make a stop in Miami on Nov. 20 at Kaseya Center.

The tour is built around the March 22 release of Shakira's 12th album, Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran (Women No Longer Cry). The 17-track album is the singer-songwriter's first studio album in seven years.

Colombian pop star Shakira is bringing the 2024 tour supporting new album “Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran” to the Kaseya Center in Miami on Wednesday, Nov. 20.

This is Shakira’s first tour since 2018, when she traveled the globe with music from the album  “El Dorado.”

The general on-sale for tickets is scheduled at 10 a.m. Monday at Shakira.com . But members of Shakira’s fan club, The Wolfpack, will have access to tickets beginning at 10 a.m. Friday. You can sign up for artist presale access through 11:59 p.m. Wednesday.

A presale for Citi cardholders will run from 10 a.m. Wednesday to 10 p.m. Sunday at CitiEntertainment.com .

Shakira’s arena tour currently includes just 14 concerts in North America, beginning Nov. 2 in Palm Desert, California, and ending on Dec. 15 in Detroit. The schedule offers plenty of opportunities for added shows, should ticket sales encourage them.

“Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran” (Women No Longer Cry), released on March 22, is a long-awaited follow-up to her 2017 album “El Dorado,” winner of the Grammy Award for Best Latin Pop Album.

The new album debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Latin Album and Latin Pop Album charts, aided by Billboard chart hits “Puntería,” with Cardi B, and “Shakira: Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 53,” a collaboration with Buenos Aires-based producer and DJ Bizarrap.
