Saint Louis University's Career Services Department provided a Washington D.C. Career Trek for 10 students. The students in attendance met with employers such as the Smithsonian Institution, the U.S. Senate and Capital One, while also meeting SLU alumni who are succeeding in D.C.

Aviation Tour Visits

*Please note that Aviation facility tours are only open to Admitted prospective students during the spring semester. High school juniors and younger should look to tour in a coming semester, or reach out to [email protected] to schedule a tour over the summer. All dates in blue are available for campus visits. The dates that will feature an Aviation Facility Tour are: Friday, April 26th, 2024 at 2:00 PM CST [Full] Friday, May 3rd, 2024 at 2:00 PM CST Friday, May 10th, 2024 at 2:00 PM CST These sessions will be held at our Center for Aviation Science  located at 4300 Vector Dr, Cahokia, IL 62206. Only these dates will display the option to register for an Aviation facility tour. Most of our visit events also include the opportunity to interact with faculty from any academic department. If you are absolutely unable to visit on one of the above listed dates, please reach out to [email protected]  to inquire about scheduling an Aviation tour.

SLU is full of great places to eat from your favorite chains to Fresh Gatherings, where SLU dietetics students whip up gourmet meals that range from barley bowls to meatball subs and tamales to tikka masala.

There are so many amazing places to study on SLU’s picturesque campus. One of our favorites is in the Center for Global Citizenship . When the weather is nice, the amphitheater near Lipic Clock Tower is also a great place to meet up with friends or read a good book.

Staying Healthy

Enjoy yoga on the quad, take advantage of our walking and running routes, learn how to eat healthy on campus and sample food at live cooking demonstrations. At SLU, we believe balance is key to being successful — in college and in life. That’s why we started the SLU Wellness initiative, which offers you opportunities to nurture your mind, body and spirit and develop healthy habits.

Getting Around

SLU’s campus is easy to get around on foot, bike or scooter! Lots of places to serve and get involved in the community are a short walk or MetroLink ride away. All residential SLU students receive a free metro pass to commute around the city for service and recreational activities.

SLU’s days of service, which let you serve alongside your fellow Billikens. 80% of our students volunteer each year, nearly triple the national average among college students.

Take in an impromptu a cappella performance on the quad. Stroll to the soccer stadium to cheer on the Billikens.

From your home on campus, you’ll be a short walk away from classes, the library and student center, study groups, campus ministry and career services, as well as some of the city’s top cultural venues, sports facilities and restaurants .

All You Care to eat

There’s something for everyone at Grand Dining Hall . Stir fry, a salad station, sandwiches and more are all at your fingertips in this state-of-the-art facility. All-you-care-to-eat meals with a takeout option make this the perfect spot for any craving.

What are you doing tonight?

There’s always something to do on campus. Whether you listen to big-name artists or prefer indie acts, Chaifetz Arena, SLU’s event venue, brings concerts, shows and entertainers to campus. And campus organizations like the Great Issues Committee and the Student Activities Board bring amazing speakers and performers to SLU each year.

When the Saints Come marching in

One of the coolest parts of being a SLU student is cheering on the Billiken athletic teams. SLU Billikens compete in the Atlantic 10 Conference in 18 NCAA Division I sports, and SLU is the only Division I school in St. Louis. The Billikens routinely vie for A-10 championships and make NCAA tournament appearances. Recent highlights include Atlantic 10 Conference Championships in men’s and women’s soccer in 2021 and three championships in 2022 — men’s soccer, women’s soccer and women's basketball.

Ceremonia de Graduación

¡Enhorabuena, futuros graduados de Saint Louis University — Madrid!

Cada año, por primavera, SLU-Madrid celebra su evento más importante, la Ceremonia de Graduación, donde familiares y amigos se reúnen para vivir el momento en que nuestros estudiantes dan un gran paso en sus vidas.

En los días previos se celebran dos actos igualmente importantes, la Misa de Graduación y la Ceremonia de Premios para estudiantes de último año.

La Ceremonia de Graduación se celebra en El Espacio Pablo VI, un salón de actos próximo a la universidad, situado en el Paseo de Juan XXIII, número 3. Previamente, los futuros graduados, junto al profesorado, se preparan en la entrada de Padre Rubio Hall (Avenida del Valle, 28) a las 11 a.m. para caminar hasta el auditorio.

Tras la Ceremonia, los graduados y sus seres queridos se dirigen de nuevo al campus para celebrar una pequeña fiesta en el edificio de San Ignacio Hall.
